Developing Agile Leadership with State Defense Character in Indonesia

Introduction: An issue has arisen concerning the leadership style in the context of the disruptive era. Agile leadership has been widely acknowledged as an effective approach during times of crisis. Objective: This study aims to investigate the impact of state defensive character as a moderating variable on the relationship between induction training and agile leadership in the context of higher education. Methodology: The data for this study were obtained through a survey conducted at three institutions in Indonesia that share a common vision. These universities are situated in the cities of Jakarta, Yogyakarta, and Surabaya. A total of 190 respondents participated in the survey. Four possibilities were tested. Result and Discussion: The findings indicate that the impact of induction training on agile leadership is not direct, but rather influenced by the moderating factor of state defensive character. The findings of this study have demonstrated that the state defensive character plays a significant role in shaping agile leadership. In an era characterized by volatility, leaders are faced with the imperative to enact changes swiftly. In this context, it becomes essential for state defense character training to play a pivotal role in shaping the character of combatants. This research highlights the originality of this approach. The research findings suggest that the achievement of organizational resilience can be facilitated by the adoption of agile leadership, which plays a crucial role in safeguarding the organization during periods of crisis.

The Role of Citizenship Education in Forming Character in Children of the Millennial Generation

The aim of this research is to provide an overview of the important role of citizenship education in developing the character of millennial children. The method used in this research is a literature review. Obtain data from existing books, journals, articles, literature, etc. related to the problem being studied. Investigation of Bad Credit in P2P Lending Based on Personal Character in Indonesia

This research examines Indonesian P2P lending and bad loan management by analyzing borrower characteristics. The large value of problematic loans is a key signal for this investigation. The Big Five Personality Approach is used to survey P2P lending users. This study solely examines if the Big Five personality traits affect evaluation. On March 5–18, 2023, 17 P2P lending sites gathered data from 197 respondents for two weeks. Data validation continued until 11 respondents were pruned. The remaining 186 respondents' data was evaluated using SPSS. The management process yielded two hypothesis tests, the T-test and the F-test, which showed that the Big Five personality significantly affects present assessment activities. F-Test findings show the Big Five Personalities have a big impact concurrently. These two factors suggest that the Big Five Personalities may evaluate decision support systems for borrower recommendations.

Integration in nursing curriculum for building Islamic nurses' character in Indonesia: a descriptive qualitative approach

The integration of a curriculum that combines Islam and science has become a necessity and a demand in higher education, including nursing study programs in Indonesia. This study aimed to explore the perceptions of nursing school heads, lecturers, and students regarding the integration of character-building Islamic values into nursing education. The research design was a qualitative descriptive approach. The sample collected using a purposive sampling technique, focusing on lecturers and students involved in integration, resulting in a total of twenty-six participants. Data was collected by conducting online interviews, posing questions to individuals from five Islamic higher education nursing schools, including nursing school principals and lecturers. The research reveals six key themes: perception of the integration of Islam and science, its application, the sources of power in the integration, the barriers faced, the evaluation process, and potential solutions for achieving successful integration. It is essential to consistently monitor and evaluate the integration process through a comprehensive review of the curriculum, including semester learning plans at the beginning, during, and at the end of the study, in the form of outputs and outcomes. Furthermore, it is crucial to optimize collaboration between nursing lecturers and Islamic expert lecturers.

The implementation of the Merdeka Curriculum in Indonesia is a fresh innovation in the educational system, from the teaching methods to the learning results. The goal of the autonomous curriculum is to develop kids' character by giving them opportunity to study informally, quietly, joyfully, and while paying attention to their inherent abilities. The Merdeka Curriculum gives students the ability to autonomously plan and create learning strategies that suit their needs and environment. The Pancasila students’ profile, which includes faithful, devoted to god almighty, and, noble, globally diverse, mutual cooperation, independent, critical reasoning, and creativity, is used in this project-based curriculum to develop soft skills and character while focusing on key concepts and being implemented flexibly. In order to produce superior human resources and character developed in accordance with existing characteristics with various activities and stages that ultimately result in students with character and collaboration, it is anticipated that this curriculum will strengthen learning outcomes, strengthen character, and collaborate with various parties both nationally and internationally.

In the communications technology sector, the massive use of mobile devices by the millennial generation has driven the number of mobile devices used in Indonesia. Based on data, smartphone users in Indonesia in 2015 were 44.07 million, but starting in 2022, smartphone users have jumped by 89.96 million. Seeing this phenomenon, smartphone companies are increasingly eager to penetrate the smartphone product market in Indonesia. Smartphone companies are trying to create quality products with features that are expected to be able to match the needs according to the consumers’ character of Indonesia. The Samsung company ranks first regarding smartphone market share in Indonesia in 2022. Smartphone market competition is not only a matter of quality, but also the trust of its products as well as other features. In this context, the author needs to conduct a study related to the factors that determine samsung smartphone buying decisions. This study aims to examine the phenomenon of customer decisions, in terms of product quality and trust. The results showed that product quality had a positive and significant effect on customer trust. Product quality have a positive and significant effect on buying decisions. Representation of Superheroes in The Character of Alana in The Film Sri Asih

Sri Asih, the first superhero character in Indonesia created in 1954 by R.A Kosasih in comic media, has undergone several adaptations in comics and films with different character variations and story backgrounds. In 2022, Jagat Sinema Bumilangit re-adapted the Sri Asih film using a different approach. The film introduces a new main character named Alana and presents a storyline adapted to the current context. This research purpose is to analyze the representation of superheroes manifested in Alana’s character in the Sri Asih film 2022. The study employs a descriptive qualitative approach and refers to Roland Barthes' theory to uncover the meanings of denotation, connotation, and myth within the Sri Asih film. The research findings reveal 10 scenes that represent superheroes through the character of Alana. The results provide insights into how superheroes are portrayed through the character of Alana in the Sri Asih film. Additionally, the study uncovers the presence of heroic myths in the visual narrative structures of the film. These findings contribute to understanding the adaptation of superhero characters and how they remain relevant to popular cultural trends, attracting fans from generation to generation.

PROPOSAL WAKAI SECARA EX-OFFICIO DAN IMPLEMENTASINYA DALAM MEDIASI BERDASARKAN PERMA NOMOR 1 TAHUN 2016

Court mediation procedures in Indonesia are regulated in the Regulation of the Supreme Court (PERMA) of the Republic of Indonesia Number 1 of 2016 (Perma Nomor 01 Tahun 2016). If we compare it with other countries, such as Japan, even since the 1980s the concept of mediation has been popular among the people regarding how to resolve disputes by wakai. If viewed philosophically, the concept of mediation in Indonesia and wakai in Japan must have the same principle, because the value is the same, namely peace. This study aims to provide an overview of integrating the civil law judicial mediation process in Indonesia which is heavily influenced by the wakai system in Japan. The unification was carried out due to the reduced pile of cases in Japan caused by the implementation of the wakai system. However, the author also wants to show that the wakai proposal can also be implemented in the practice of Mediation based on Perma Number 1 of 2016. This research is a normative juridical research with library research method which includes research on legal principles and comparative law research. The approach used in this research is a statutory approach and a conceptual approach. The results of this study indicate that Perma Number 1 of 2016 which is applied to the State of Indonesia with wakai used in Japan materially, has similarities. However, formally or in practice there are some differences, especially regarding the status of the mediator. Several things from the practice of implementing wakai proposals that are considered suitable and in accordance with the character of Indonesia and do not conflict with the provisions of Perma Number 1 of 2016 are related to the practice of ex-officio mediators in formulating wakai proposals in assisting parties in formulating peace agreements.

Determination of Minimum Number of Frustule for Identification of Diatoms in Telaga Cebong, Dieng, Central Java, Indonesia

Diatoms belong to the division of Bacillariophyta; their cell walls composition of silica (SiO2) was the primary characteristic of their structure. Diatoms are good for water quality assessment and paleolimnological analysis. The determination number of frustule which has to be counted for diatom is one of the critical steps in process identification. Several studies usually use a range starting from 100-600 frustules, which refers to the "fixed count" method, that is time-consuming. Research about the minimum frustules number that is acceptable for water character in Indonesia has been limited studied. This research aim is to determine the minimum number of frustules need to identify the diatom assemblage, especially at Telaga Cebong, Dieng, Central Java, Indonesia. The sediment samples were taken vertically with D’Section corer until a depth of 200 cm sediment samples then sliced every 10 cm. The labwork activites consisted of digestion, preparation, enumeration, and identification of diatom species with the numberof frustules of 100,200, 300, 400, 500, and 600. The diatom data are analyzed with the formula for the maximum efficiency value. Based on 19 sediment samples from different sediment layers, the maximum efficiency value obtained was above the range of 0.85 to 0.92. The number of identified species remained stable after a minimum of 300 frustules. Therefore, at least 300 frustules are needed for identification of diatom for paleoreconstructions at Cebong Lake.

Moderasi Beragama Dalam Ideologi Pancasila

It is undeniable that in the realm of praxis of religious and state life in Indonesia, there are still some people who clash Pancasila with religious teachings. Whereas as a state ideology, Pancasila actually contains the value of forming moderate religious understandings and attitudes for the benefit of life between religious people in Indonesia. This study intends to identify the dimensions of religious moderation values in the construction of Pancasila. This literature research uses a normative-philosophical approach. The results of the study concluded that there are dimensions of religious moderation values contained in the construction of Pancasila. First, the value of tolerance in the first precept is in the form of the value of forming paradigms and social attitudes of religion that prioritize pluralism in life between religious people. Second, the value of anti-radicalism in the second precept is in the form of the value of forming paradigms and social religious attitudes that prioritize the spirit of humanism. Third, the value of national commitment in the third precept is in the form of the value of forming paradigms and social attitudes of religion that uphold nationalism. Fourth, the accommodating value of local wisdom in the fourth and fifth precepts is in the form of the value of forming paradigms and social attitudes of diversity that prioritize the principle of deliberation and make the value of social justice in responding to various local wisdom. The theoretical implications of the findings of this study show that Pancasila contains universal values in the formation of a moderate social religious character in Indonesia. The limitation of this study is that it has not studied the role of the Indonesian government in disseminating the value of religious moderation contained in Pancasila in various lines of social life.

Konflik, Karakter dan Pancasila: Studi Kepustakaan

The purpose of this study is to analyze the relationship between conflict and character in Indonesia, and Pancasila as a source of character for conflict resolution. As the largest pluralistic country in the world, Indonesia cannot be separated from conflict. History records many identity conflicts caused by ethnic conflicts, religious and racial differences, conflicts between groups, and increasingly strong ideological wars. This research method uses literature study. The resulting literature studies are sourced from books, articles, which are relevant to conflict, interaction, character. The results of this study are (1) conflict is caused by the intersection of character needs and interests; (2) the character of the conflict includes the attitudes, emotions, and habits of various people. Therefore, the effort that must be done is to revitalize the practice of Pancasila values. Pancasila as a spiritual value (the highest cosmos), as well as a moral value, must be implemented in everyday life, with the aim of preventing and resolving conflicts in the present and in the future.

INDONESIA'S FOREIGN POLICY IN CREATING SECURITY STABILITY IN INDO-PACIFIC REGION

Indonesia as one of the countries that is included in the Indo-Pacific Region has an important role in creating security stability in the Region. As the center point of the Indo-Pacific, Indonesia certainly thinks about the right defense strategy to be able to play an active role in the region. Undoubtedly, this action will be related to Indonesia's free-and-active foreign policy. As a region that has strategic points, countries in the Indo-Pacific Region carry out an agenda to be able to solve problems in a peaceful way by increasing mutual trust. Naturally, it will make the Indo-Pacific Region as a central region in the future. Based on the findings, Indonesia's foreign policy takes part in an active role at the international level by promoting the concept of cooperation in the Indo-Pacific Region to increase mutual trust between countries. In addition, countries in the region participate in mutually beneficial openness in order to create security stability in the region. Indonesia's foreign policy is considered to be appropriate and useful in the midst of situations in competing for having influence in the region. Thus, Indonesia's role in the Indo-Pacific cannot be separated from the character of Indonesia's current foreign policy which emphasizes �middle power� and leadership in the region.

Kitab Kuning dan Pembentukan Karakter Religius Muslim Indonesia

Abstract: This article examines kitab kuning (lit. yellow books: i.e, traditional or classical Islamic texts taught in pesantrens) and the formation of the religious character of Muslims in Indonesia. The study of religious character values ​​in the 'kitab kuning' was carried out at the State Madrasah Aliyah of the Religious Program (MANPK) MAN 1 Yogyakarta. MAPK provides additional 'kitab kuning' class to students so that they can become superior students in religious insight, nationality and the formation of Muslim character in Indonesia. Therefore, this study is important to determine the formation of Muslim character in Indonesia through learning the 'kitab kuning'. Using qualitative approach, this field research used interviews, observation and documentation in data collection. The result is that the 'kitab kuning' namely Ta'lim al-Muta'allim influences the formation of religious character values ​​for Indonesian Muslims. These character values ​​include; (1) maintaining knowledge, (2) respecting teachers and friends, (3) glorifying books, diligently studying and worshiping, (4) avoiding arrogance and humiliating others, (5) being patience in learning and discussion, (6) maintaining integrity (upholding the value of honesty), and (7) being responsible.

Pancasila as foundation and goals of Indonesia’s human development in the President Jokowi era

One of the three main problems facing the Indonesian people in the midst of the current swift of globalization and information is the problem of radicalism, intolerance and the crisis of national identity. The reason as written in the national development agenda is because the politics of uniformity has eroded the character of Indonesia as a warrior nation, fading solidarity and mutual cooperation, and marginalizing local culture. This study aims to find out and explain Pancasila as the foundation and goals of Indonesia's human development in the President Jokowi era. This study uses a qualitative-descriptive method with a literature review approach, by reviewing the 2014-2019 Medium-Term Development Plan (RPJMN) document which is the program implemented during one period of President Joko Widodo's administration. The results showed that the values of Pancasila as the philosophy of life of the Indonesian people had not yet been fully manifested, both at the level of concepts and in the implementation of national development programs. However, efforts to increase Indonesian human development which more 'Pancasila' have been included in the 2014-2019 RPJMN.

Organization and Design of Development of Islamic Religious Education in Indonesia

This article discusses the organization and design of curriculum development in Indonesia. It discusses the elements of education concerning the development of character in Indonesia. So in developing an educational curriculum in Indonesia it is necessary to evaluate a targeted education curriculum in line with the learning methods of students. Such as the boredom experienced by students while learning in the class. And the lack of teacher preparation in teaching makes the curriculum function role not run optimally. Special theories are required and has been needed for developing the method and learning out come in the Islamic Education curriculum design. The purpose of this study, to find out firsthand the process of implementing the curriculum in Indonesia, especially about the Islamic education curriculum. Then from the aim of this research, it is hoped that it can help in developing the organization and curriculum design of PAI in Indonesia. For this reason, the curriculum in Indonesia needs to be designed with development and direction in the challenges of the globalization era. To achieve this, students, teachers, and students need to appreciate by creating a curriculum that can facilitate the course of Islamic education in Indonesia. This research method, using library research. The author thoroughly discusses the organizational problems and design of the development of the curriculum Islamic education in Indonesia. The author also approaches by referring to various scientific studies of journal sources. The results of this study, that the organization and design of the Education curriculum are very influential in student development. Also, in developing the design organization Islamic education curriculum development in Indonesia is expected to be able to compete nationally and internationally.

Designing Meeting Point Syi'ah-Sunni in Indonesia

Movement of thought always influences the human condition both positive and negative influences. The emergence of a belief stream begins with a movement that seeks to reconstruct, purify, innovate against conventional and normative teachings in a religion. One of the schools of Islam is Syi'ah. This research is library research, which is descriptive, analytical and comparative. The data analysis used is deductive and descriptive normative. The factor of the differences in Syi'ah's character in Indonesia is not because of the Indonesian culture. However, Syiah level of understanding of the doctrine of the Imamate gave birth to a different typology. The Indonesian cultural factors only color the skin, not to change the view of faith. The difference between the understanding of Shi'a and Sunni, according to him, the trigger of conflict and mutual infidelity is to forgive, cannot be united until the end. If the Sunni forgives Syi'ah, clearly the opposite will happen, one way that must be taken is mutual tolerance. The rationale for the Shiites is to practice it because of the reason they hold to a strong proposition. The view of the Syi'ah towards his understanding is the same as that of the Sunnah expert on his understanding.
