For students, character education (character formation) for the next generation must be very important, especially in the increasingly advanced and developing digital era, so that students have good morals and character for the social life around them. Principal leadership plays a very important role in influencing, motivating, improving and empowering all existing resources to implement student character development in the digital era. The success of the principal in carrying out character education is determined by: first, firmness and discipline in fulfilling every character building order; second, the principal's leadership encourages teachers and other education personnel to carry out character education; third, creating a conducive school climate and culture; fourth, exemplary school principals in the implementation and success of character education for all school children. The leadership role of the headmaster is shown by example and personality which is reflected in his behavior, understanding, abilities and experience as an educational leader and school principal who is a role model for all school members, especially students to realize character education.

Management of Student Character Education in the Globalization Era (Case Study in Wali Songo Islamic Boarding School Ngabar Ponorogo)

To make students have noble characters (good behavior), institutions will always look for good ways to instill character values in students, including the institution that the author examines, Wali Songo Ngabar Ponorogo Islamic Boarding School. In Wali Songo Islamic Boarding School, since the boarding school holds activities, then, in these activities there are character values instilled in students, as the main source in the implementation of social life must have a character that can humanize humans so that in social activities there are limits to the existence, administration, and manners that every human being must have. This research uses a qualitative approach, and the type of research is descriptive qualitative with a case study approach, while the problem formulations in this thesis are: (1) How are the planning, implementation, and activation of programs at Wali Songo Ngabar Ponorogo Islamic Boarding School? (2) How does the boarding school support character education at Wali Songo Ngabar Ponorogo Islamic Boarding School? (3) And how is the impact of changes in the management of student character education at Wali Songo Ngabar Ponorogo Islamic Boarding School? This thesis is very helpful for the author in adding insight into mindsets, attitudes, and experiences in character-building efforts. They produce social life, namely making programs that are useful for the development and formation of student character. From the results of this study, the authors concluded that: (1) Planning, implementing, and supervising the programs of the student’s parents of Wali Songo Ngabar Ponorogo Islamic Boarding School in implementing character education through activity programs in the boarding school that have been agreed upon by the leader of the boarding school and other administrators (administrators through discipline and giving rules or giving examples or actual examples from the boarding school environment, (3) The impact of changes in education management on the character of students from students’ parents is the increased trust of parents or students guardians to send their children to boarding schools whose graduates are accepted in quality schools, accepted in the community.

Learning Islamic Religious Education Based on Ta'dib Perspective of Islamic Education Psychology at Muhammadiyah Pakel Elementary School

Islamic Religious Education (PAI) has an important role in shaping the character and morality of students, so it is important to use a ta'dib-based learning approach, namely an approach that integrates religious values with academic learning, which has been recognized as an effective approach. However, to achieve the optimization of ta'dib-based PAI learning, it is important to pay attention to the perspective of Islamic educational psychology. This study aims to identify and analyze efforts to optimize ta'dib-based PAI learning from the perspective of Islamic educational psychology at Muhammadiyah Pakel Elementary School. The research method used is field research with a qualitative approach. Data were obtained through class observations, interviews with PAI teachers, and analysis of documents related to the PAI learning program at Muhammadiyah Pakel Elementary School. The results showed that the optimization of ta'dib-based PAI learning at Muhammadiyah Pakel Elementary School involved several strategies. First, the use of learning methods that emphasize the formation of noble character and Islamic ethics in students' daily activities. Second, the use of learning media that is relevant to Islamic values increases students' interest in and understanding of PAI material. Third, fostering effective communication between teachers and students, as well as cultivating mutual respect in the learning process. Meanwhile, the perspective of Islamic educational psychology can make a positive contribution to the development of student character because this approach can influence students' attitudes, values, and behaviour in accordance with religious teachings so that the psychology of Islamic education provides an understanding of the cognitive, affective, and psychomotor aspects of students that need to be considered in the learning process.

ENHANCING MORAL INTEGRITY: ISLAMIC EDUCATION'S ROLE IN FOSTERING SUPERIOR CHARACTER WITHIN ISLAMIC BOARDING SCHOOL MANAGEMENT

Character education plays an important role in the formation of an individual's personality with integrity. This study aims to explore the implementation of character education in Islamic Religious Education (PAI) learning in Islamic boarding schools and its impact on student character development. The research method used is qualitative research with a case study approach. This research was conducted at Lubbul Labib Islamic Boarding School located in Probolinggo Regency. The study participants consisted of PAI teachers and students involved in PAI learning at the Islamic boarding school. Data was collected through in-depth interviews, observation, and documentation analysis. The results showed that character education in PAI learning in Islamic boarding schools was carried out through various strategies and methods involving Islamic religious values as the main foundation. This research makes an important contribution to the development of character education in Islamic boarding schools and provides insight into the importance of character education in PAI learning. The implications of this study can be used as a guideline for other Islamic boarding schools in improving the effectiveness of character education in PAI learning.

Validity, Practicality, and Effectiveness of Character Learning Model Based on Al-Islam Kemuhammadiyaan Values

The main objective of this study is to determine the validity, practicality, and effectiveness of character-learning models based on the values of al-Islam Kemuhammadiyaan that have been developed to improve the character of early childhood. Departing from the results of preliminary studies and prototypes of models that have been developed, as well as the research methods used, namely research and development, researchers compiled expert test instruments, user tests, and rubric assessments of children's character as a data collection tool, which was then analyzed using the average of the scales used and inferential tests to determine their effectiveness. The validity test was carried out by two experts, the practicality test was carried out by 15 teachers, and the effectiveness test was carried out on group B children at Aisyiyah Kindergarten, Makassar City. The results showed that the learning model that had been developed was declared valid by experts because it was within the interval limit of 3.50 ≤ V < 4.00, and the results of the practicality test showed that teachers obtained the value of ease in implementing the product, while the results of the effectiveness test found that the results of the trial application of the model in as many as five meetings descriptively showed an increase in the character development of students with an average score. Students' ability was 3.7 (very well developed) with a very high category, so it is concluded that the character learning model based on the values of Al-Islam Kemuhammadiyaan is valid and practical and has also been shown to be effective for improving early childhood character. These results indicate that the character learning model based on the values ​​of al-Islam Kemuhammadiyaan that has been developed is proven to be able to grow and strengthen the character of students by the values ​​of al-Islam Kemuhammadiyaan namely justice, honesty, brotherhood, hard work, steadfast heart, king. ', khauf, and ittiba' to the prophet. So in this way, students in group B at Aisyiyah Kindergarten in Makassar City in the future can grow and develop with the potential to become superior human beings as the aim of the Muhammadiyah association.

The principal is a role model who must be able to improve the quality of the school in carrying out the student management function which includes students, teachers and school physics, in the management of student management it is the most important thing to make optimal student conditions so that schools have quality, student management, school principals have a very significant and very basic role, starting from the admission of new students, student development or self-development to the student graduation process. The purpose of this study is to describe the role of the principal and teacher in student management at SDK Santa Maria Ratu Rosari Gianyar. This study used descriptive qualitative method. The data were taken by means of interviews, observation and documentation studies. In this study, the subjects of this study were the principal, vice principal for curriculum and student affairs, as well as several students and teachers in the field of study and administrative staff at this school. Based on the results of research and data analysis and conclusions, it was found that; 1) the principal has a function that greatly influences the development of the school, both school progress, student achievement and student character development. The ongoing student management process is in accordance with the plans previously prepared by the school in accordance with technical instructions from the education office. 2. Student management management of SD Santa Maria Ratu Rosari Gianyar is managed by student teachers, classroom teachers and education staff who have been appointed by the principal with the principal as the person in charge. The management of student management itself begins with planning for new student admissions by adjusting the capacity previously adapted to existing infrastructure and existing teachers and education personnel, then admitting new students, organizing students, student orientation, student coaching and service, and student assessment.

Physical education with the TPSR model: Building characters and basic manipulative movements in elementary school students

Character education is an essential aspect of education that transcends academic development. However, its implementation is frequently hindered by students' lack of social responsibility and mutual respect. Through the development of a physical education learning model based on the Teaching Personal and Social Responsibility (TPSR) approach, this study sought to address the fundamental problems inherent in the implementation of character education in schools. Using an experimental method and a pretest-posttest design with 56 elementary school students, this study employed the game Engklek to promote character development and enhance fundamental manipulative skills. The results demonstrated a positive impact on the character traits, knowledge, and abilities of the students, with increased scores at levels 1 and 2. However, there were identified limitations, such as the need for adequate facilities and the limited habituation of character characteristics in daily life due to time constraints. Overall, this research contributes to the development of a physical education learning model that enhances the character development and fundamental manipulative movements of elementary school students, whereas future research should explore alternative materials and interactive learning media to further improve physical education.

The role of creative literature teaching based character on character development

The purpose of this study was to investigate the effectiveness of character-based creative literature learning in developing student character which includes attitudes, behavior, and personality. The research method used was a quasi-experimental involving 250 high school students. The sample was selected using random sampling technique. The findings show that learning character-based creative literature makes a positive contribution to the development of student character, which includes attitudes, behavior, and student personality. The effect of learning literature on student character produces t values at the posttest stage for each aspect of attitude, behavior, and personality (4.452, 3.683, and 4.579) and p values less than 0.05. In addition, the effect size of character-based literary learning on character development is 5.80 which has a significant influence. So, it can be concluded that teaching character-based creative literature has a significant positive influence on character development (attitudes, behavior, and personality) in high school students. The implication of this research is that literature can be used as an alternative in instilling character in students.

Implementation of Character Building through General Subjects of Islamic Religious Education in STKIP Subang

Optimizing the Role of Islamic Religious Education as a general compulsory subject that has a mission as education that shapes the character and cognitive development of students is a necessity. Therefore the research aims to examine how the policies of the STKIP Subang Elementary School Teacher Education Study Program in managing the General Course of Islamic Religious Education. Qualitative research through interviews, observation and documentation studies. This empirical research found: a lack of learning support facilities for Islamic Religious Education, time limitations, weaknesses in methods that are still oriented towards cognitive aspects, student backgrounds as heterogeneous inputs. As a compulsory subject for General Courses, Islamic Religious Education Courses must be packaged with newer pursuits even though the substance cannot be changed, but the current context must be answered through the internalization of Islamic values. The recommendations in this study are to carry out further research in the form of R and D research, stakeholder collaboration with managers, seeking creativity in learning innovations, etc. All of these recommendations are expected to have implications for improving the management of General Courses in Islamic Religious Education in the future.

This best practice is focused on discussions related to positive habits as an effort to increase the religiosity, nationalism and discipline of school residents. So this research aims to explore the advantages of habituation carried out by state elementary school students in the Kaligawe Semarang area. Therefore, this research uses a qualitative approach. Data was collected through interviews, group discussions, observation and documentation. The results of data analysis show that students in this research sample have comfort in carrying out positive habits at school before learning begins. Islamic religious education is education that is closely related to the spiritual formation and character of students, so it is hoped that the results of this research can make a positive contribution to the development and strengthening of student character. The results of the research show that students in this research sample have their own comfort in getting used to it before studying. The advantages of habituation arise from the support of the school principal in the policy of developing habituation activities in schools, the role of creative and innovative teaching and education staff in developing habituation through various activities, the younger generation who have religious insight and school culture.

The Influence of Use of Gadgets on Student Character Development

This research is motivated by the development of Science and Technology (IPTEK) which is heading towards an all-digital world. The use of gadgets needs to be balanced with correct and controlled education, because their use can be one of the factors that shape human character in a positive or negative direction. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of using gadgets on the character formation of SD Negeri 01 Sumberejo students. This study uses a quantitative descriptive approach with a linear regression statistical test used to test the effect of the independent variables on the dependent variable. The subjects of this study were students in grades IV and V totaling 60 respondents. Data collection techniques were through observation and using questionnaires, while data analysis used simple linear regression which was processed with the help of the SPPS version 20 program. From various series of data tests it was found that the t value was 6,194 > t table 2,202, with a significance value of 0.000, the hypothesis Ha was accepted and Ho was rejected. The coefficient of determination obtained is 39.8%, the use of gadgets affects character formation, while the remaining 60.2% is influenced by other factors outside the variables studied. Then from the simple linear regression equation, it is known that the value of y = a + bX (17.945 + 1.365X) which can be concluded that there is an effect of using gadgets on the character formation of SD Negeri 01 Sumberejo students.

Discipline Court Management Program for the Character Development of Students

This study aims to determine the management function that is applied to the Santri Disciplinary Court Program at the Darul Ihsan Modern Islamic Boarding School. The management functions that will be examined include program planning functions, program organizing functions, program implementation functions and program monitoring functions. The type of research used is qualitative research with a phenomenological approach. The sources of data in this study are divided into 2, namely primary and secondary data sources. Primary data sources are Islamic Boarding School Leaders, Heads of Boys and Girls Care and students of OPDI administrators as enforcers of disciplinary courts. Secondary data sources are school documents, journals, field notes, and various other documentation. The procedure for collecting research data is through observation, interviews, and documentation. The researcher used Miles and Huberman's data analysis techniques, namely reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing/verification. After that, a data validity test was carried out through Credibility, dependability, transferability, and confirmability tests. The results of this study indicate that the Darul Ihsan Modern Islamic Boarding School has implemented a management function in the Disciplinary Court Program which includes program planning by determining disciplinary rules that must be obeyed by students through a meeting mechanism and providing socialization to students about the rules that must be obeyed. Program organization is carried out by the parenting department and assisted by OPDI students. The implementation of the program was carried out by providing discipline coaching and imposing sanctions on violators and supervision carried out by the care section for OPDI students as well as evaluations from the Islamic Boarding School Leaders. Based on this, it can be concluded that the Darul Ihsan Modern Islamic Boarding School, Deli Serdang Regency, has carried out the management function in the disciplinary court program as a form of fostering the character of the students. With this Court Program, the students know the disciplinary rules that they must obey.

The results of the study concluded that the social care character development of students is aimed at all PMR members, which can be carried out through routine PMR activities, both through material and practice, such as providing assistance to disaster victims, cleaning the school environment, picketing the field, and distributing takjil during the month of Ramadan. Impact of Providing Islamic Spiritual Extracurriculars on Student Character Development

This research discusses the impact of spiritual extracurricular activities on students' character development. The research objective was to determine the effect of spiritual extracurricular activities on the character development of spiritual members inside and outside of school. This research uses descriptive quantitative research with random sampling techniques or data collection. The population is the academic community of SMK N 1 Jambi, totaling approximately 200 students, and the sample is 36 students. Based on the results of research and discussion, the impact of spiritual extracurricular activities at SMK N 1 Jambi on the formation of student character plays a very important role. Strategy of civic education teachers in building student social character to maintain local culture in the society 5.0 era

The era of Society 5.0 is synonymous with internet technology that makes it easier for teachers to build social character, but it turns out that this era hurts student character development, namely, students experience a social character crisis, so many are anti-social and leave the local culture. The objectives of the study were to 1) determine the meaning of social character in the life of the nation and state, 2) examine the role of Civic Education in maintaining local culture in the era of society 5.0, and 3) examine teacher strategies in building social character in students in the era of society 5.0. This research uses a qualitative approach with descriptive research methods, so data collection techniques use interviews, observations, and document studies. The informants in this study were two teachers; observations were made of the Civic Education learning process and the behavior of students while at MTs N 4 Klaten through the study of syllabus documents and RPP. The data analysis technique used is interactive data analysis. The results showed that the meaning of social character in the life of the nation and state is to establish harmony between differences and maintain harmony between the state and citizens for the realization of unity and unity. In the era of society 5.0, maintaining local culture is very important, namely by educating and inspiring students to maintain and preserve the local wisdom that develops in their respective regions and wisely use internet technology so that it is not easily influenced by values or cultures from outside, especially those that conflict with the personality of the nation. Student Character Building Through Hidden Curriculum based on Connectionism Theory

This research aims to analyze the implementation of the hidden curriculum on the character building of students at Bunda Hati Kudus Kota Wisata High School. This research uses Thorndike's theory of connectionism which states that learning is a process of interaction between stimuli (can be feelings, thoughts, or behaviors) and responses (which of course also take the form of feelings, thoughts, and movements). Previous research shows that the hidden curriculum emphasizes the formation and development of character in students and character education is part of the hidden curriculum in the learning process in the school environment which is not written directly in the official school curriculum but has a very large contribution in the process of building the character of students. This research aims to analyze strategies to increase understanding and implement ethics at school, at home, and in the community. The research method used is descriptive qualitative. Data collection techniques in this study used observation and interviews. The results showed that the implementation of the hidden curriculum at Bunda Hati Kudus Kota Wisata High School has had a positive habituation impact on students in order to achieve the school's established mission, namely cultivating the values of integrity, compassion, competence based on the spirituality value.
