Basically, apart from individual being, humans are social beings who cannot live alone who need others to meet their needs to interact, communicate, and convey their will, fellings, or ideas. Nothing is more important to most people than interacting with other people. Interaction is so important that if is not carried out for a long time, it will lead to depression, lack of self-confidence, and difficulties in meeting basic need in daily life. According to Devito (1996), some of the reasons someone enter a relationship are as follows Reducing the loneliness , strengthen the encouragement, acquire self-knowledge, maximize pleasure of happiness and minimizing pain by sharing feelings with others. Communication is very benificial when entrepreneurs need information about several marketing places, management strategies, and steps to become a superior entrepreneur. Through communication, they build a strong mental strength, not easily give up despite facing various challenges, formed a power of energy and togetherness which is embodied in one belief that they must keep moving forward, synergizing towards success and hope for the future. It become an important mattter for the existence of one LPG company to another in an area, so that they establish togetherness to achieve success without making other entrepreneurs as competitors, but ratther consider other companies as companion. In this case, PT.Harupa Jaya as one of LPG gas companies located in Ciamis, West Java, has several years established communication and cooperation with other fellow LPG gas entrepreneurs, by forming a community. Through community, members can receive various information from central leadership, both in form of latest price as well as applicable policies, regulations, and so on. Members can also support each other and achieve the goals/vision and mission of the company. By doing this, community can overcoming various problem, especially technical problem in the field, as well as to build a spirit of togetherness and sense of confidence and optimism in every member of the LPG gas entrepreneurs in running their business.

Water Governance and Regional Development in Xi's China

AbstractThe governance of China under Xi Jinping functions mainly through leading groups. Using the case of water governance, this article examines the interaction between these groups at three levels: the top-level design group, the riverine macroregion groups and the implementation groups. This governance model is designed to avoid nomenklatura failure, restrict fiscal federalism and reduce the agency problem between the centre and local leaders. For the purpose of water governance, China has been divided into five blocs based on river basins, which we call riverine macroregions. Using this approach, the Chinese Communist Party is combining water governance with regional development and enhancing local governments’ collective implementation of central policy.

BUDAYA ARAB PRA DAN PASCA ISLAM

The social condition of the Arab nation before Islam was known as the ‘age of ignorance’ or the era of ignorance, which was caused by social, political, moral and social relations in a state of real error. In order to understand the customs of the ignorance of the Arabs, God sent a Messenger, Muhammad. In this study, researchers discussed the integration of Islam and Arabic culture in both pre- and post-Islamic times. The research method used is the Sociology of Religion approach, and in its refinement it will be supported by other approaches such as the Phenomenological, Historical and Anthropological approaches. The results of the research show that many of the pre-Islamic Arab nations worshiped idols, the political conditions at that time were divided, not recognizing central leadership or unity. While the condition of the post-Islamic Arab nation, the population has lived in prosperity. Changes both in terms of character, culture and beliefs. So that the Arabs at that time respected each other and because of that it was also detrimental to the disputes between tribes that often occurred during the Jahiliyya period.

Da'wah Strategy of Tablig Council at the Central Leadership of Muhammadiyah

After crossing a century of movement, Muhammadiyah has grown very rapidly. Muhammadiyah is one of the Islamic mass organizations whose existence is evenly distributed in almost all parts of Indonesia. There is hardly a single district/city in the country that is not entered by Muhammadiyah. In the early days of the establishment of Muhammadiyah, the Tablighi Council was an organizational field that was first established by K.H. Ahmad Dahlan to facilitate the focus and reach of da'wah. Now the challenges of the Tablighi Council are increasingly complex because more and more Muhammadiyah citizens must receive spiritual flush and formation in beribaddah. To provide services to Muslims in general and Muhammadiyah citizens in particular, the Tablig Council developed a da'wah strategy. The strategy was prepared at the Central Leadership Level which is the highest leader in Muhammadiyah. Then the results are applied at all levels of Muhammadiyah starting from the level of Muhammadiyah Branch Leaders (at the village level), Muhammadiyah Branch Leaders (at the sub-district level), Muhammadiyah Regional Leaders (at the district level), Muhammadiyah Regional Leaders (at the provincial level), to the level of Muhammadiyah Central Leaders. It is also used as a guide in the Muhammadiyah Business Charity (AUM) environment which includes Schools, Universities, Hospitals, Orphanages, Banking, and other AUMs managed by Muhammadiyah.

Policy communication in times of public health crisis: Longitudinal network modeling of U.S. politician-health agency interactions during the COVID-19 pandemic

Severe public crisis such COVID-19 pandemic entail coordinated communication between politicians and public health agencies. The study explores how and why U.S. politicians share messages from health agencies on social media during COVID. Proposing a multi-theoretical, multi-level (MTML) framework to understand the phenomenon, we draw upon the Advocacy Coalition Framework and Crisis and Emergency Risk Communication theory and conceptualize politicians' public health communication as serving the dual functions of policy and risk communication. With bipartite longitudinal network modeling, our analysis finds a fragmented national message-sharing network deprived of central federal leadership and clustered around state-level actors such as local health agencies and state governors. The politicians' party affiliation and positions on COVID-19 policies significantly impacted whether they would help distribute messages from public health agencies. Health agencies' message features such as expression of certainty and use of analytical words also influenced politicians’ message sharing patterns. These findings suggest the pandemic communication is both a policy advocacy and a risk and crisis communication process. This integrated theoretical approach offers explanations of information sharing dynamics between politicians and health agencies, two major information sources for the public.

Emotional distance, detachment, compassion and care: The affective milieu of academic management in the neoliberal university

Based on interviews with Finnish deans, this study examines the affective milieu of academia. The neoliberalisation process in universities has strengthened centralised leadership and increased the power of managers. Simultaneously, the market-driven competitive ethos has deepened the binary between ‘winners’ and ‘losers’ at all levels of academia, giving rise to an affectively tense atmosphere. Due to their increased power, managers play a key role in shaping the affective milieu of academia. By using an affective-discursive approach, I analyse what kind of emotions deans rely on while constructing their relation to employees. This study traces three management discourses: strong, paternalistic and collegial. Together, these discourses with their affective orientations construct a polarised affective milieu. On the one hand, the deans’ affective relationships with employees embody gentleness, care and compassion; on the other hand, affective relationships manifest the inducement of guilt, sternness, conventionality, distance and detachment of employees. I argue that current neoliberal academia leaves little space for deans to demonstrate compassionate collegial management.

Government Synergy in Handling Border Conflict between West Lombok Regency and Central Lombok Regency

The territorial boundary conflict between West Lombok and Central Lombok districts in West Nusa Tenggara (NTB) province has been going on for several years, with various attempts being made to find an appropriate solution. This study aims to analyze the synergies carried out by the Provincial Government of NTB in handling boundary conflicts. The research method used is a case study with in-depth interviews with informants involved in handling boundary conflicts. The results of the study show that government synergy in resolving boundary conflicts involves the West Lombok Regency Government, Central Lombok Regency Government, community leaders, and other relevant agencies. The synergies carried out include facilitating meetings, strengthening the authority of the Border Dispute Resolution Team so that it has a large and strong capacity, approaching the community, coordinating the central government with local governments regarding border conflicts between Central Lombok and West Lombok Regencies by providing coordination space. The governor acts as the representative of the central government in the province, so that the central government is under the command of the provincial government. The results of this research are the Decision of the Supreme Court of the Republic of Indonesia Number 1 P/Hum/2023 dated 9 February 2023, in the case submitted by the Regent of Central Lombok as the applicant party and the Minister of Home Affairs as the respondent. It has been decided that Nambung will become part of Central Lombok Regency.

Overcoming uncertainty: A framework to guide the implementation of Australian radiation therapy advanced practitioners.

The implementation of radiation therapy advanced practice in Australia has not yet been broadly realised. With anticipated growing demands on cancer services, it is imperative to understand why this is the case, and to strategise a way forward. As a result, we explored the factors influencing the implementation of advanced practitioner radiation therapists (APRT) in Australia. The research outcome was a complex process of Navigating Uncertainty, which described the contextual, social and personal factors surrounding implementation successes and challenges. Further synthesis of the findings was undertaken to highlight the fundamental features influencing this process, with the intention to provide a useful understanding for practitioners seeking APRT implementation. Data were collected through national online focus groups and case studies with 53 participants. Analysis identified a constructivist grounded theory process of Navigating Uncertainty. Further analysis of the categories and properties of the process was undertaken to synthesise findings at a higher level of abstraction. Four overarching and intertwined factors were influencing the implementation of APRT. Uncertainty occurred when practitioners attempted to conceptualise and assimilate the new role into the workplace. Power was apparent in the advocacy and legitimisation of the APRT by centre leaders. Value was vital to achieving purposeful outcomes. Identity was evident in the personal transition of the APRT, and in the boundary work with others. Recognising and negotiating uncertainty, power, value and identity is essential for APRT implementation strategies to succeed. A framework to guide practitioners towards the implementation of APRT has been described that embodies these factors.

Leadership in Nursing Education for Advancing a School of Nursing-Led Center for Climate Change, Climate Justice, and Health.

This article examines innovations in the development and advancement of a school of nursing-led climate change center and innovative leadership related to climate change and health in nursing education. The integration of health consequences of climate change in curricula and continuing education is essential to prepare nursing students and nurses for clinical practice. Transformational leadership is a key concept for effective leadership in nursing education to address climate change as the looming public health challenge of the 21st century. Transformational leadership strengthened one nursing program's curricula, dissemination of relevant scholarship, and achievements with public health outreach related to climate change, climate justice, and health. Nursing education leaders can influence nursing practice and improve societal health outcomes related to the health consequences of climate change across all levels of education and continuing education for professional nurses. Aisyiyah's Role in Preparing Political Cadres

This community service is carried out to achieve several goals. First, to formulate Aisyiyah's role in preparing political cadres. Second, it aims to provide information about the problems faced by women in particular and the Indonesian nation in general, while at the same time trying to raise awareness and interest among Aisyiyah cadres about the importance of women's participation in public and political positions. Third, it aims to increase the capacity of Aisyiyah cadres (capacity building) so that they are more prepared to run for office and compete in the struggle for public and political positions. In following these objectives, the methods used in the implementation of this community service were workshops, training and mentoring for Aisyiyah cadres who were interested in running for public office and political positions. In addition, a survey was conducted to measure the effectiveness of the training. This community service is carried out in partnership with the Central Leadership Research and Development Institute (LPPA) of Aisyiyah. The results of this service reveal that the electability of women in the DPR and DPRD tends to stagnate, there is an increase but it is small, and it is still far from the target. Women are still only a source of voice, not yet the main actor.

Long-term alliance for pathology equipment and technology acquisition: a paradigm shift for improved quality and efficiency.

Personnel costs are the largest single budget item in the clinical laboratory, other major expenses being equipment, analyzers, blood and blood components, and cost of day-to-day consumables. This report describes our experience with developing a long-term relationship with a single major vendor as a paradigm shift from the traditional multiple vendors, multiple contracts, and recurrent extended negotiations. Our objective was to develop a long-term approach for replacement of effete equipment and upgrades to operations in a pathology and laboratory medicine department in collaboration with vendors providing equipment and services. Major vendors were invited to visit the department to analyze the workload and workflow and suggest integrated solutions to meet the goals of the department. Multiple iterations of the proposals were evaluated, and a recommendation made to the medical center leadership. The vendor, the medical center, and the department jointly developed a 15-year partnership plan to improve the operations of pathology services. The agreement encompasses a range of management and performance criteria for both sides. The salient items discussed were laboratory staffing, turnaround time, workload change, test insourcing, reference laboratory costs, and scholarly productivity and teaching. The agreement reduced laboratory staffing by 21%, eliminated stat tests by reducing the turnaround time for routine tests to less than 45 minutes for 90% of tests, with an increase of 9.1% in the number of tests, Cost avoidance in salary and reference laboratory costs was $3,424,136/year against an expected target of $2 million in total savings, despite not including cost avoidance from promoting appropriate use of laboratory testing for inpatients and increase in revenue from increase in ambulatory testing. Vizient score in laboratory utilization improved from the 94th to 76th percentile. Scholarly output increased by more than 100%. This model of a long-term alliance with a chosen vendor led to improvements in quality and efficiency.

SWOT analysis to reduce surgical center idleness and increase revenue in a hospital.

To reduce surgical center idleness by analyzing the competitive structure of the surgical center in a hospital, and thereby generate value in operations and increase hospital revenue. The study used qualitative and quantitative methods and an action research approach involving the surgical center leadership of a small private specialized hospital in southeastern Brazil. We used the Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, and Threats or SWOT tool to analyze the competitive structure of the surgical center and then implemented interventions as proposed by the science of improvement method proposed by the Institute of Healthcare Improvement. By applying the SWOT tool, we identified a concentration of surgeries in the specialty of Otolaryngology and the need to establish a health management system to reduce the idleness of the operating rooms. Based on subsequent intervention, procedures from other specialties were inserted that increased surgical production by 2.62X, reduced idleness by 67.84%, and increased revenue by over US$ 276,609.87 in 2018 compared to the previous year 2017. Investing in quality, surgical schedule management, and inducting new surgeons to the clinical staff resulted in decreased surgical idleness, increased production, better uniformity in scheduling, and increased revenue, while costs remained below the linear trend, allowing for increased profits.

A National Voter Registration Campaign.

Research suggests that increased voting among adults is associated with improved child health. Despite the benefits of voting, the United States has low voter turnout compared with peer nations. Turnout is especially low among marginalized people in the United States. Voter registration is essential for increasing voter turnout, and registration efforts have been successfully carried out in clinical settings. Working with a nonprofit called Vot-ER, we advocated for nonpartisan voter registration efforts in pediatric settings nationwide preceding the November 2020 US elections. We describe lessons learned from these efforts. Using data obtained from Vot-ER, we also provide the first estimates of participation in a national voter registration campaign in pediatric settings. There was widespread engagement in voter registration efforts among pediatricians in 2020. Many lessons were learned from these efforts, including the benefits of advanced planning because registration deadlines can be up to 1 month in advance of Election Day. Obtaining buy-in from numerous stakeholders (e.g., health center leadership, public relations teams) supports widespread staff participation. Also important is to consider the tradeoffs between active voter registration (in which staff can broach the topic of voting with patients and families) and passive efforts (in which voting is discussed only if patients or families inquire about it). These and other lessons can inform future voter registration efforts in diverse pediatric settings across the country.

Analisis Bahan Ajar Maharah Qira’ah di SMP Muhammadiyah 3 Yogyakarta Berbasis CEFR

This study aims to analyze the teaching materials of Arabic maharah qira'ah in class IX of SMP Muhammadiyah 3 Yogyakarta. This research is a library research (literature study). In this study, there are two data sources used, namely primary and secondary data sources. The primary data source is taken from the book Arabic Language Education SMP Muhamamdiyah Class IX by Anji Fathunaja, S.Pd.I. and Sugeng Riyanyo, S.Pd.I. published by the Muhammadiyah Central Leadership Agency in 2018 Primary and Secondary Education and European Language Learning Outcomes Standards (CEFR). While secondary data sources are books, journal articles, and sites that discuss the analysis of teaching materials for maharah qira'ah as well as references that support this research. The data analysis technique uses descriptive analysis techniques. After the data obtained then describes systematically the results of the research. The results of the research on the analysis of Arabic maharah qira'ah teaching materials in class IX SMP Muhammadiyah 3 Yogyakarta, state that the Arabic Language Education Book SMP Muhammadiyah 3 Yogyakarta has been arranged systematically and interestingly, so it is suitable to be used as a textbook in Arabic language learning and more specifically in maharah qira'ah, because the book has presented materials related to students' spiritual attitudes and knowledge. In addition, the materials presented are in accordance with the CEFR-based learning outcome standards, and if referring to the CEFR standards, they are included in the A2/ Elementary and B1/Intermediate levels.

Pemekaran Nagari: Transformasi Desa Adat di Kabupaten Pesisir Selatan

This article discusses the changes and continuities in the structure and function of nagari, Minangkabau “traditional” village. Many scholars consider nagari as an autonomic “village republic” which was ruled by local leaders based on customary law. Even though nagari has been incorporated into the national administrative structure during colonial and post-independence of Indonesia, nagari is still regarded as the source of legitimacy on customary law. Especially in the 2000s, nagari has given more authority in the national legal system in Indonesia. In this article, I describe how nagari in Pesisir Selatan, West Sumatra is divided into smaller units. In order to get more budgets for village management from central government, local leaders and village heads chose to divide the nagari into smaller villages administratively but maintained large nagari informally as a single community bound by customary law. Interestingly, the new administrative villages are also called “nagari” and are given authority on customary law. This created a situation in which formal smaller but administrative nagari co-exists with larger yet informal nagari. What are the consequences of this dualism? By analyzing the process of nagari division, I describe how several different notions of “nagari” have developed in one village.

Organic Aminoethoxyvinylglycine Is an Effective Alternative for Reducing Apple Preharvest Drop

Organic apple (Malus ×domestica Borkh.) growers lack effective strategies to manage preharvest drop. For susceptible cultivars, yield losses caused by preharvest drop can exceed 30% at the beginning of harvest. To address this issue, a formulation of aminoethoxyvinylglyine (AVG) designed for organic use was developed and compared with a commercially available AVG formulation. We evaluated the effects and interactions of the AVG formulation and application number on preharvest drop and fruit maturity in 2017 and 2018. We selected 30 pairs of mature ‘Oregon Spur II Red Delicious’/‘M. 111’ trees planted at the Mountain Horticultural Crops Research and Extension Center in Mills River, NC, USA. Trees were planted with spacing of 2.7 × 6.1 m, trained to a central leader, and received plant protectant sprays that adhered to local recommendations throughout the growing season. Both AVG formulations were applied at 132 mg⋅L−1 at 3 or 3 + 1 weeks before the anticipated harvest. An untreated control was also included for comparison. The experiment had six replicates and a randomized complete block design with a 2 × 2 augmented factorial treatment structure. A one-way analysis of variance was performed and single degree of freedom contrasts were used to compare treatment groups of interest. During both years, organic and conventional AVG were equally effective for reducing preharvest drop and delaying fruit softening and starch hydrolysis at harvest. During one year, increasing the number of applications of AVG reduced cumulative fruit drop, delayed fruit softening at harvest, and reduced internal ethylene concentrations. Inconsistencies in responses across years may be explained, in part, by abnormally warm temperatures observed in 2018. AVG approved for organic use appears to be a promising preharvest drop management technology with efficacy similar to that of conventional AVG.

Teaching Young Children Values in a Multi-religious Secular Society

Purpose: Singapore is a multi-religious society where the state is secular, and different religions coexist. Values are taught at home and in schools from young. The government has a set of national values that underpin the Character and Citizenship Education which begin from primary education. However, in early childhood education, the national frameworks do not explicitly articulate the values that should be cultivated in children below six years of age up till November 2022, when the revised Nurturing Early Learners Framework is launched and explicate values that should be cultivated at preschool level. Against this diverse sociocultural context, this paper seeks to unpack these values and find out current centre practices on the ground.
 Method: This paper uses data of a qualitative study where purposeful sampling is used to select research sites and participants according to the various types of operators in the early childhood education landscape. Semi-structured interviews are conducted for data collection and analysed using thematic analysis. The data presented in this paper offers insights to the perspectives of centre leaders who lead and manage centres run by different operator types in a diverse early childhood education landscape.
 Results: The findings reveal that centre leaders’ interpretations of the values are generally aligned with the framework’s descriptors and uncover the complexity of values as overlaps across values. The study provides insights to current centre practices on values education.
 Conclusion: The study indicates alignment between leaders’ definitions and understanding of values espoused in the NEL framework and that values education does take place across early childhood development centre types. With the four values explicated for the early childhood education landscape, there is greater clarity on the values that should be cultivated in young children from young.

A retrospective analysis of coping competence among community health centers during the COVID-19 pandemic in Shanghai, China: Coping strategies for future public health emergency events.

This study aims to investigate the coping competence of 12 community health centers through nursing workforce, emergency preparation, emergency response training, and emergency support in a district of Shanghai during the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic in 2022 to propose coping strategies and implication for Future Public Health Emergency Events for community health centers. A cross-sectional survey was conducted on June 2022, and 12 community health centers (servicing a population of 104,472.67 ± 41,421.18, with 125 ± 36 health care providers per center) were then divided into group A (n = 5, medical care ratio ≥ 1:1) and group B (n = 7, medical care ratio < 1:1) according to collected data, and the nursing human resources management and coping competence of the centers with COVID-19 of both groups were retrospectively analyzed. Nursing shortages were obvious across all 12 centers. Certain deficiencies in the coping competence of community health centers with emergencies must be addressed (possession rate < 70% in both groups, p > 0.05). Community health centers need to enhance hospital-to-hospital collaboration and the ability to transport emergency staff to the post promptly during outbreaks. Emergency coping assessments, emergency drills at different levels, and mental health support need to be implemented regularly among community health centers, and effective donation management should be pursued as well. We expect that this study could support efforts by leaders of community health centers to conclude coping strategies including increasing nursing workforce, optimizing human recourse management, and identifying areas of improvement of centers for emergency coping during public health events.

The Role of Aisyiyah's Thought in the Advancement of Early Childhood Education in Kendal District

This study aims to analyze the role of Aisyiyah in the development of education in Kendal Regency in 1950-2020, so as to find out the background of the establishment of Aisyiyah Kendal. Aisyiyah as a special autonomy organization of Muhammadiyah can nurture women to be educated to become leaders, and be prepared to become administrators in the Muhammadiyah women's organization. Aisyiyah's presence in developing her educational role in Kendal Regency has given birth to strong cadres in organization. Aisyiyah's presence in Kendal is inseparable from the arrival of Muhammadiyah ideas and thoughts. Aisyiyah is engaged in social, educational, health and religious domains, this research uses historical methods consisting of heuristics, verification, interpretation, historiography. Aisyiyah has activities with several programs, one of which is in the field of education, especially in Bustanul Athfal Kindergarten (TK), Aisyiyah program on worship guided by the Central Leadership (PP) in Jakarta about Kemuhammadiyahan and Keaisyiyahan.

Implementation of Progressive Islamic Policy in Regional Leaders of Muhammadiyah North Sumatra Period 2015 – 2020

This research wants to find out the Implementation of Progressive Islamic Policy in the North Sumatra Muhammadiyah Regional Leaders for the 2015 – 2020 period, the supporting factors and obstacles encountered. Using the theory of policy implementation by George C. Edwards III, Merilee S. Grindle and David L. Weimer and Aidan R. Vining, to find out how intense implementation is in the North Sumatra PWM environment. At the same time solving the main problems in this study that are proposed in the problem formulation. Using historical methods with a qualitative approach. The results of the study answer the formulation of the problem, namely PWM North Sumatra has implemented Progressive Islamic movements in various fields (education, health, social, da'wah, humanity and nationality). The PWM program is in accordance with the policy of the central leadership implemented by the Muhammadiyah leadership of North Sumatra. PWM in implementing Progressive Islam faces various challenges both internal and external. Internally there are still many cadres who have not implemented the concept of Progressive Islam and other challenges. While externally there is a misunderstanding of the community towards PWM in terms of the purification of worship. And these challenges continue to be faced with preaching, education and providing good understanding to the community.
