ozet Arastirmada yayinlarin dogal ortamlarindaki geleme durumlarim anlamak icin yas-boy, yas-agirlik ve boy agirlik arasindaki iliskiler uzerinde durulmustur. Ortalama konlusyon katsayisi (A) 0.58 bulunmustur. Igdir ovasinda yayinlarin ureme zamani Mayis-Haziran aylarina rastlamaktadir. Bu ekolojik sartlarda yayin baliklarinin erkekleri 2-3, disileri ise 3-4 yaslarinda cinsi olgunluga ulasmaktadirlar. Yayin baliklarinda canli agirlik-ovaryum agirligi, canli agirhk-yumurta adedi ve ovaryum agirligi-yumurta adedi arasinda pozitif iliskiler bulunmus ve bu karekterler arasindaki korelasyon katsayilari ise sirasiyla r=0.88, r=0.77 ve r~0.80 olarak hesaplanmistir. Yayinlarin bas, ic organlar (gonad, dahil), yuzgec, deri ve karaciger gibi vucut kisimlarinin canli agirliktaki paylari sirasiyla % 18,65, °/0 14.98, % 4.03, % 3.89, % 0.08 bulunmustur. Bu baliklarda ortalama kilcikli et randimani ise % 56 civarinda olmustur. Yapilan hesaplamada eldeki materyalin kg canli agirlik basina 12340 adet yumurta verdigi ve ureme mevsimindeki ortalama yumurta capinin 2.5 mm. civarinda oldugu bulunmustur. Summary A Study on the Bio-Ecologica! and Economical Properties. of The Sheatish (Silurus glanis Lo) Lived in the Karasu Stream in lgdir Planin In this research, the bio-ecological and some economical performans of Silurus glimis L. (Sheatfish) lived in Karasu Stream in I~dJr Plain of the Eastem Anatolia were studied. The relationships between the length-weight, age-weight, and agelength were determiiied to understand the rates of growth of Silurus gIan;s lived in natural en vironmenL Length of fishes may be determined with accuracy. Weight of fisbes may be considered a function of the length. This relaliouship of the length and weigbt was calculated by using the following formula. Log W = logc + n log L. in whicb W = weight, L= length, C and n = eonstans (RownsefelI and Everhart, 5983), In addition, by usage the eoefficient of eondition K is determined by the following formula: W K= -........,,......- x 100, in Which L3 W= Weight in grams, L= total length in centimeters. The eoefficient of condition in Silurus glanis was found as 0.58. This value is lower than tbat of other fish species. Beeause the body shape of SHurus glanis is very long and thin. For this reason, tne eoeffient of eondition (K) has been found significat1y low in Silurusglanis. The regression and eorelation eoefficients between the body weigbt-ovary weight, body weight-egg number, and ovary weight-egg number \Vere also ealculated. The corehtion coefficients between these criteri::i.s, mentioned above, were r= 0.88, r = 0.77, and r= 0.80 respectively. The ayarage diameter of eggs (egg size) was around 2.5 mm. in the reproduction seson. Silurus glanis in our researeh habitant produced 12340 eggs/kg. fish weight. Male and female reached sexual inaturity at between 2-3 of age, and 3A of age respective1y. Spawning season of Silurus Gl.anis is between May an July In Spring. In this work, th.e me:rt yiled of Si/urus glanis was studied too. the rr-.tio of some organs to the body weight were found as fol1ows; The head wcight to the the body weight =18.65 %; gut weight to th~ body weight = 6.50 %, rins weight to the body weight = 3.89 %; skin weight to the body weight = 4.03 %; ovary weight to the body weight=9.00 %; ,nd liver weight to the body weight=O.85 %; the net carcas weight (without skin, but boned) to the body weight=56 %.
