Detection of “11-Nor-9-carboxy-A9 -Tetrahydrocannabinol” in Pubic Hair of Cannabis Abuser: Target Ion GC-MS Method

Cannabis substance abuse is widely causing addiction across the world. In the drug of abuse cases, hair plays an important role in identifying drug abuse and drug history consumption. However, scalp hair may not be availabel in every drug abuse cases; other body hairs play an essential role in forensic toxicological analysis. This study attempt has been made to use pubic hair as an alternative specimen for the detection of 11-Nor-9-carboxy-A9 - Tetrahydrocannabinol metabolite of cannabis abusers using the target ion by GC-MS method. Pubic hairs of 10 years cannabis abusers were collected and used for GC-MS analysis to detect THC-COOH metabolite. The study confirmed the presence of THC-COOH metabolite with the help of 371 target ions. This method will be useful in identifying the presence of cannabis in drug-facilitated crimes for forensic toxicological analysis. In further, this method would also be useful in identifying single drug exposure cases.

FAKTOR-FAKTOR YANG MEMPENGARUHI PERILAKU PENCEGAHAN PENYALAHGUNAAN NARKOBA PADA SISWA DI SMA “X” PONTIANAK KALIMANTAN BARAT

ABSTRACTBackground: The highest drug abuse cases in Pontianak in 2016 are at the age of 20-30 years (88 people). Based on the level of education, the highest are at Senior High School (89 people). The district of East Pontianak is the largest drug user area (79 people). The Senior High School “X” is a school with the highest number of students in the distict of East Pontianak.Research Method:This type of research is descriptive quantitative analytic with cross sectional approach. The population of this research is the students of class X and XI from Senior High School “X” Pontianak, West Kalimantan which amounts 594 students. The technique of this research is proportionate stratified random sampling by using Slovin formula, got 86 samples.Research Result: The knowledge of students Senior High School “X” about drug abuse 50,00% is good, the attitude of students about drug abuse 61,63% is good, the attitude of health workers 55,81% is not good, and the behavior of drug abuse prevention 67,44% is good. Multivariate test result indicate a significant influence between knowledge and drug abuse prevention behavior, the result of p value is 0,004 < 0,05. There is a significant influence between the attitude and drug abuse prevention behavior, the result of p value is 0,003 < 0,05. There is a significant influence between the attitude of healt worker and drug abuse prevention behavior, the result of p value is 0,005 < 0,05. The attitude variable is a dominant variable that effect (6.546) to the drug abuse prevention behavior.Conclusion: There is a significant influence between knowledge and behavior of drug abuse prevention. There is a significant influence between health worker and behavior of drug abuse prevention. Attitude is the most influence variable to the behavior of drug abuse prevention.Key Words: Knowledge, attitude, behavior, drug.

Quick detection of sabbles by using marquis treatment

Methamphetamine or N-methyl-alpha-methyl phenethyl amine is a powerful central nervous system stimulant drug that has an addictive effect when consumed. The number of cases of drug abuse in Indonesia in the last year is most dominated by methamphetamine so that an accurate analysis is needed to detect these compounds. Qualitative rapid detection can be done with marquis reagents which will produce a yellowish green if it is positive for consuming methamphetamine. Student urine samples were extracted with chloroform to separate to form two layers. The top layer filtrate was tested by Marquis reagents. From the test results found no positive Methamphentamine in the urine of class XI IPA students.

The Holistic Rehabilitation Model for Drug Addicts, Phubbing and Conduct Disorder in Boarding Schools

Human resources are important for the process of achieving development goals in addition to natural and economic resources, but by the cases of drug abuse and addiction as well as phubbing and conduct disorder among children and adolescents make serious problems and threats to the progress of national development. The boarding school has the function as an educational and social institution that actively carries out prevention and rehabilitation of drug abuse and conduct disorders. The research aims to creat the holistic rehabilitation models for drug addicts, phubbing, and conduct disorder in boarding school. The study used qualitative research method of phenomenology by determining informants purposively including foundation management, clients or rehabilitation patients, and counselors or assistants. The research location took place at the Nurul Firdaus Islamic Boarding School as rehabilitation center in Kertaraharja Village, Panumbangan District, Ciamis Regency, West Java Province of Indonesia. Data were collected by direct observation, dialogue and documentation. Data analysis is carried out through interactive models with stages of data collection, reducing, verification, triangulation, categorization and making conclusions. The results of the study showed that Nurul Firdaus Islamic Boarding School (1) Categorize and accept clients affected by drug abuse and addiction, phubbing, also conduct disorder. (2) Perform persuasive and therapeutic communication in holistic rehabilitation methods including medical, non-medical such as spiritual, herbal, cupping, and acupuncture, as well as therapeutic methods with psychotherapy and hypnotherapy. (3) Post rehabilitation as an important part in preventing further reusing of drugs, phubbing and conduct disorder by providing positive and productive media of interaction such as activities in the fields of education, entrepreneurship, sports, and becoming social activist organizations.

Kewenangan Penyidik Menetapkan Rehabilitasi Tanpa Penetapan Pengadilan pada Kasus Penyalahgunaan Narkotika

This article reviews criminal justice process in deterring drug abuse case, discussing rehabilitation as a part of criminal sanction and the implementation or existence without court ruling or decision. Several rules and regulations discussed in resolving this matter include Law Number 35 of 2009 concerning Narcotics and Government Regulation Number 25 of 2011 concerning Mandatory Implementation of Narcotics Addict Report. The article was a part of bachelor’s degree thesis, conducted using normative legal study with case approach method. The case discussed is about rehabilitation of drug abuser Without Court’s order. The research finding is investigator do not have authority to place the drug abuser under rehabilitation. It is supposedly by court’s order.

Simultaneous Quantitative Determination of Amphetamines, Opiates, Ketamine, Cocaine and Metabolites in Human Hair: Application to Forensic Cases of Drug Abuse.

A method using liquid chromatography-tandem mass spectrometry (LC-MS/MS) to simultaneously quantify amphetamines, opiates, ketamine, cocaine, and metabolites in human hair is described. Hair samples (50mg) were extracted with methanol utilizing cryogenic grinding. Calibration curves for all the analytes were established in the concentration range 0.05-10ng/mg. The recoveries were above 72%, except for AMP at the limit of quantification (LOQ), which was 48%. The accuracies were within ±20% at the LOQ (0.05ng/mg) and between -11% and 13.3% at 0.3 and 9.5ng/mg, respectively. The intraday and interday precisions were within 19.6% and 19.8%, respectively. A proficiency test was applied to the validated method with z-scores within ±2, demonstrating the accuracy of the method for the determination of drugs of abuse in the hair of individuals suspected of abusing drugs. The hair concentration ranges, means, and medians are summarized for abused drugs in 158 authentic cases.

KOMUNIKASI KELOMPOK DI DALAM RUMAH REHABILITASI KELUARGA KEMBANG CAHAYA

The increasingly modern like-day era, or commonly called the millennial era, is increasingly worrying about the rise of drug abuse. Many users or addicts come from children who are still underage. This is a serious problem for the Indonesian people, because generations are very easily involved in drug abuse cases and other legal actions. Related to drug problems, one step that needs to be done in handling this case by providing rehabilitation to users or addictions through drug use. The most important drug addicts in the rehabilitation center for the former drug addicts. One of the rehabilitation places in the city of Purwokerto under the name Kembang Cahaya Family Community. The Kembang Cahaya Family Community (Kekaca) is a group of organizations that want to use drug addicts in the healing process. Memory is a rehabilitation house for drug addicts who really want to recover on their own volition and not from solicitation. The pattern of family communication in the Messages is very pronounced. Communication that is like a relationship between a father and his children. In addition, activities in rehabilitation are also filled with a variety of positive activities, both spiritual and non-spiritual in order to be converted into the busyness and emptiness of the junkies in a more positive direction.

Komparasi Penjatuhan Tindakan Rehabilitasi Menurut Undang-Undang Nomor 35 Tahun 2009 Tentang Narkotika (Studi Kasus Putusan Nomor 375/Pid.Sus/2015/PN.Jkt.Sel., Putusan Nomor 191/Pid.Sus/2015/PN.Jkt.Sel., dan Putusan Nomor 436/Pid.Sus/2015/PN.Jkt.Sel.

Narcotics can cause changes in consciousness and cause dependence. Drug use is often needed. Regarding the Narcotics Law Number 35 of 2009 gave birth to an effort to cure the perpetrators of narcotics abuse, namely rehabilitation. Rehabilitation is a recovery effort so that a person can return to his previous state. However, not all cases of drug abuse can be sought for rehabilitation. In the case of perpetrators of narcotics abuse, rehabilitation has been sought as seen in the decision number 191/Pid.Sus/2015/PN.Jkt.Sel., while in the decision number 375/Pid.Sus/2015/PN.Jkt.Sel., and decision number 436/Pid.Sus/2015/PN.Jkt. Cells, narcotics abuse is not sought for rehabilitation and even given criminal sanctions. Act to Law No. 35 of 2009 concerning Narcotics against narcotics abusers if proven to abuse narcotics it is compulsory to undergo rehabilitation in accordance with the provisions of Article 127 Paragraph (1) of the Narcotics Law. And the three decisions in decision number 191/Pid.Sus/2015/PN.Jkt.Sel., Decision number 375/Pid.Sus/2015/PN.Jkt.Sel and decision number 436/Pid.Sus/2015/PN.Jkt.Sel., Was charged as a drug abuser.

A novel analytical method of TFMPP and mCPP in fluids of drug addicts using LLE-GC/NPD.

In recent years, drug-abuse problem is growing by leaps and bounds all over the world. The master minds spearheading its proliferation among the youth are difficult to identify, so drug-abuse case has become a hard nut to crack even with the help of best international experts in forensic science and criminology. Because most nations have tightened their controls on traditional drugs, the younger generation is now hooked onto new-type drugs: 1-(3- trifluoromethylphenyl) piperazine (TFMPP), 1-(3-chlorophenyl) piperazine (mCPP) and other new piperazine-drugs, acting as hallucinogens like ‘ecstasy’, are being consumed by vulnerable masses all over the world. However, only few research studies have focused on developing highly effective detection methods for TFMPP and mCPP in biological fluids; the number of detection methods for these new-type drugs is almost nil in China. Therefore, it is difficult to detect and prevent drug abuse cases related to piperazine drugs in China. There is an urgent need to develop some simple, fast, and reliable methods for detecting piperazine-drugs in vulnerable masses. Thus, the development of novel detection methods with high sensitivity and selectivity is a difficult task for the officials working in the department of forensic science in China. In this work, a new method was developed for the detection of piperazine derivatives: it was performed under the various specific conditions required for conducting chromatography and mass spectrometry analysis. With this novel method, TFMPP and mCPP was successfully detected with high accuracy in various biological samples. By comparing the purification effect of different solid-phase extraction columns for TFMPP and mCPP in biological fluids (urine and blood), we confirmed the validity of the novel method. In addition, this method has good linear relationship and a low detection line when GC/MS was performed for detecting TFMPP, mCPP in the biological fluids (urine and blood). It is a simple, reproducible method that is highly specific in the detection of piperazine-drugs. Thus, it is indeed a reliable method in forensic science.

Strategies to Enhance Life Skills Education in High Schools: Eswatini Context

The youth in Eswatini are facing several challenges which require a comprehensive, coordinated, and multi-sectorial response from the government and other relevant stakeholders. Cases of high school dropout rate, HIV/AIDS prevalence, violence, drug and substance abuse, and poor academic performance, are on the rise in the country. The learners’ behaviours indicate inadequate knowledge of Life Skills Education which are indicators of ineffective implementation of the programme in high schools in Eswatini. This study was therefore, conducted to ascertain strategies which can be used to enhance Life Skills Education in high schools in the Shiselweni region of Eswatini. The study adopted a qualitative research approach using a multiple case study design. The theory which informed the study is the Targeting Life Skills Model by Hendricks (1998).The target population were Life Skills Education teachers and high school learners in the Shiselweni region. A purposive sample of three high schools in which the Life Skills Education programme was piloted in the region was selected. Data were collected using semi-structured interview guide and focus group discussion guide. Interviews were conducted with a total of nine learners whereas focus group discussions were carried out with twenty Life Skills Education teachers. Data was analysed using Thematic analysis. Findings revealed several factors as vital in enhancing Life Skills Education in high schools. These are: 1) making Life Skills Education examinable, 2) collaboration with parents and other schools, and 3) provision of needed resources such as adequate training of teachers, providing incentives, and provision of a variety of instructional materials. It was recommended that Life Skills Education should be considered as an examinable subject. Furthermore, teachers should be adequately trained on Life Skills Education and be provided with needed resources. A retrospective analysis of data from forensic toxicology at the Academy of Forensic Science in 2017

Knowing the specific pattern of forensic toxicology cases in a region is vital to help the local government establish an effective prevention and treatment system; currently, there have been no published reports investigating various types of forensic toxicology cases based on a large autopsy series and city size. The data in this study were obtained from records kept at the Academy of Forensic Science (AFS) between February 2017 and December 2017, and the cases were mainly from the Public Security Organs People’s Police in Shanghai, China. There were 299 autopsies; the leading cause of death was traffic accidents (37.1%), and the manners of death were mainly accidental (54.8%). From a total of 9083 cases, 1992 involved traffic accidents, 6787 were drug abuse, 269 were poisonings, and 35 were drug-facilitated sexual assaults (DFSAs). We also investigated the pattern of unnatural deaths and the alcohol-positive (with a blood alcohol concentration (BAC) ≥0.20 mg/ml) rate among the various cases. The BAC ranged from 0.08 to 7.24 mg/ml in traffic cases, and the mean BAC of the total alcohol-positive drivers was 1.44 mg/ml. It was found that 80.8% of the drivers involved had a BAC ≥ 0.20 mg/ml (limit of civil offense), and 72.8% had a BAC ≥ 0.80 mg/ml (limit of criminal offense). Among the drug abuse cases, there were 4073 cases (60.0%) that were positive for at least one euphoriant; the most frequently abused drug group was amphetamine-type stimulants (ATS). Poisonings by natural toxins (such as scopolamine and tetrodotoxin) account for a significant portion of accidental deaths. Pesticide poisoning was also constituted a large portion, and organophosphorus were the cause of the majority of those cases. Suicide by pesticide showed the highest frequency in the present study. Among the 35 DFSA cases, dexmedetomidine was frequently detected in our study, which has rarely been reported previously in DFSA cases.

Streaming Social Media Data Analysis for Events Extraction and Warehousing using Hadoop and Storm: Drug Abuse Case Study

In the age of big data, entreprises’ information systems are ingested with data generated from social media which raises the need to integrate it in their business intelligence process for better decision making. However, these new data, streaming, voluminous, unstructured and variant, bring existing data warehousing systems and integration tools to their knees which motivated us to conduct this research work.In this paper, we propose a large scale system based on distributed storage and parallel processing to succeed social media data warehousing. In fact, we combine Storm and Hadoop for structured events extraction from social media data and their integration in the data warehouse. We take the advantage of real time analysis of streaming data offered by Storm and batch processing of large volumes of data of Hadoop which facilitated streaming social media data analysis task.For conceptual representation, we propose a customized multidimensional model in which we add an intermediate table to connect the social media data warehouse with the enterprise data warehouse. We implement it using Oracle 12c and we fed it with events extracted from 1000 000 tweets using Pentaho data integration tool.

Abuse of prescribed psychoactive drugs

Objective: The abuse of psychoactive drugs and addiction to them have been a growing problem in the world. Article 188/6 of the Turkish Criminal Code numbered 5237 states ‘The provisions of this article shall apply to any substance whose production is subject to the approval of official authorities or whose sales is subject to the prescription issued by the authorized physician, and to other substances causes a narcotic or stimulant effect. However, the imposed penalty can be reduced to half.’ and warrants a penalty, indicating that such drugs will be considered in the context of ‘narcotic drugs’ in case of an abuse. The aim of this study was to investigate the types and frequency of psychoactive drug abuse cases which reflected to the judicial authorities in Turkey. Methods: The files that have been examined by the 5th Specialization Committee of the Turkish Council of Forensic Medicine between January 01st 2012 and January 01st 2019, within the scope of Article 188/6 of the Turkish Criminal Code numbered 5237, were reviewed in this study. The files were evaluated in respect to the distribution of the abused drugs, other narcotic substances detected with these drugs, drug forms and quantities. Results: A total of 1710 reports were examined in the study. The most frequently abused drug group was benzodiazepines, and the most frequently abused members were clonazepam, diazepam and alprazolam. Pregabalin, gabapentin, buprenorphine and quetiapine were the other drugs that took the first place in terms of abuse frequency. The most common narcotic substances detected with drugs were cannabis, synthetic cannabinoids and methylenedioxymethamphetamine. Buprenorphine and pregabalin were the most seized drugs at the crime scenes and on the suspects. Gabapentin was the one encountered most in the biological samples. Discussion: In the light of the data obtained, it can be said that the abused drug profiles may change over time and these changes may be affected by foreign currents. In order to reduce drug abuse, strict follow-up of psychoactive drug prescriptions, attention of the clinicians to the indications, dosage and usage of the drugs that may be abused, a detailed medical investigation of the patients’ medical histories, briefing of the patients about the drugs with the potential for addiction, increasing the penalties on the persons who possess such drugs by prescription and then sell them on the streets, and detection and monitoring of the toxicity and death data related to psychoactive drugs are essential in fighting against drugs on a scientific basis.

Hidden Drug Abuse in Hong Kong: From Social Acquaintance to Social Isolation.

The present paper examines the issue of hidden drug abuse in Hong Kong. Although official statistics show that the reported number of drug-abuse cases has been in decline in recent years, it has been reported that drug abusers tend to hide themselves at home to take drugs; thus, they are not discovered easily by the law enforcement and social control agents who report drug abuse cases to the Central Registry of Drug Abuse, resulting in the decrease in the reported number of drug-abuse cases. This “dark figure” phenomenon is a reflection of the official figure and reporting behavior, not the actual situation of drug abuse in Hong Kong. Through in-depth interviews of 30 ex-drug addicts, the majority of them started drug taking in early youth, the present paper identifies five stages of drug taking from social acquaintance to social isolation. It argues that although drug taking among abusers is a kind of social activity in their initial stage of drug use, they become socially isolated when their drug use is prolonged. Several reasons are identified, including users' easy accessibility to drugs and changes in the popularity of drugs and use of drug equipment. Most importantly, the hidden process is triggered and aggravated by numerous negative drug effects, such as decline in physical health, weak physical appearance leading to self-perceived discrimination, co-occurrence of psychiatric symptoms of increased anxiety and suspicion, and decline of trust among peers due to prolonged drug abuse. Possible solutions associated with clinical interventions, legislative policies, and law-enforcement operations are proposed.

The Prevalence of Attention Deficit-Hyperactivity Disorder Symptoms Among Students and Its Relation with Drug Consumption

Background: Although Attention Deficit-Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) is a common mental disorder among adults, until recently, it was seldom diagnosed in adults. The significance of this disorder as a disease afflicting adults is increasing on a daily basis due to the complications associated with it such as disrupting occupational and educational functionality, as well as increasing the probability of drug abuse among those suffering from it. Objectives: With due regard to the significance of the subject. This study was conducted with the purpose of investigating the ADHD symptoms exhibited by students at Zahedan University of Medical Sciences. Patients and Methods: The present investigation is a descriptive-analytical study conducted at Zahedan Universitsy of Medical Sciences. The consensus sampling method was implemented to a sample volume consisting of 1000 persons. Based on the goals set in this research, two questionnaires were presented to the students to be completed arbitrarily: the demographic questionnaire and the Conners Adult ADHD Rating Scale Screening Version (CAARS-O:SV) questionnaire. The obtained information was then fed as input to the SPSS Software for analysis. Results: Of the 1000 questionnaires, 913 were completely answered by participants: 589 (64.5%) by female and 324 (35.5%) by male students. The average age of the participants was 21.7 ± 3.2. About 8% of the students reported drug abuse during the previous month. Compared with the symptom-free group, 27.1% in the inattention group, 30.3% in the hyperactivity group, 28.1% in the impulsiveness group, and 36.7% in the self-image problem group mentioned cases of drug abuse. Conclusions: The obtained results seem to indicate frequent occurrences of ADHD symptoms among the students. This requires further clinical evaluation and, if possible, diagnosis and consequent medical treatment for preventing the loss of educational performance or possible drug abuse, as well as decreasing impulsiveness.

HUBUNGAN LINGKUNGAN SOSIAL DAN SPIRITUAL DENGAN PENYALAHGUNAAN NARKOBA PADA PENGHUNI LPKA (LEMBAGA PEMBINAAN KHUSUS ANAK) PROVINSI SUMATERA BARAT TAHUN 2018

Cases of drug abuse in West Sumatra became very important to note because it has increased as much as 635 cases year 2015 be 824 cases in the year 2016. The purpose of this research is to know the social environment and spiritual relationship with drug abuse on residents of West Sumatra LPKA year 2018. This research was conducted on 21-25 February 2018 with design research using descriptive analytic approach using cross sectional. The number of samples in the study as many as 37 people with techniques of sampling respondents total sampling. This research instrument using a detailed questionnaire. The results of this research show that the social environment supports as much of 48.6%, which has a less good spiritual as much as 51.4% and 64.9% of heavy drug abuse. The research results obtained there is the relationship between the environment and drug abuse sosail (ρ = 0.008 and OR = 11,000) and there is a spiritual connection with drug abuse (ρ = 0.001 and OR = 29.143). It can be concluded that there is a social and spiritual environment relationship with drug abuse on residents of West Sumatra LPKA year 2018 and recommended to all residents of West Sumatra Province LPKA in order to further improve the spritualitas and stay away from negative social environment and also for the next researcher can use other variables such as economic factors and the intelligentsia against drug abuse.

Relevansi Ayat-ayat Edukatif dalam Pengembangan Kurikulum Pendidikan Islam di Indonesia

The thought of ideal curriculum development in Indonesia keeps on scrolling. It was started from curriculum 1947, 1949, 1952, 1964, 1968, 1975, 1984, 1994, Competence-based Curriculum (KBK), School-based Curriculum (KTSP), and the 2013 Curriculum. Those changes are the answers of global demand to the education quality. However, by looking at the fact that there are many cases of students fight, drug abuse and free sex among students, it can be concluded that the curriculum changes are not in line with the reality in education world. Based on the explanation above, this paper tries to offer an idea to develop curriculum based Qur’an by reviewing one of the term used in Qur’an to refer to the educational process, namely: ‘ta’lim’. Based on the analysis, the word ta’lim has a deep meaning including cognitive, affective, and psychomotor domains. If it is related to the curriculum development, curriculum based Qur’an is a learning model which focuses on the three domains above, as seen on the meaning coverage of ta’lim used in Qur’an.

<p>This article discusses about the debate over death penalty in the drug abuse cases. The Constitutional Court on October 30<sup>th</sup>, 2007 on the judicial review of Article 80 of the Law No 22/1997 on Drug declared that death penalty is not violating the Constitution which guarantees the right to life. Furthermore, Indonesia has ratified the International convention on narcotics and psychotropic. On the other hand, the opponent of death penalty argues that death penalty violates Article 28A of the Amendment of the Constitution that all people have the right to life. Secondly, death penalty is cruel and inhumane. Thirdly, there is possibility for false trial, and fourth, death penalty is not in-line with the reformation of penal law which imposes on restorative justice instead of retributive. Fifth, the effect is just a myth and sixth, the family becomes co-victim. Seventh, death penalty also threatened Indonesian living abroad and the last, death penalty cause the loss of Indonesia in International relations.</p>

Pelaksanaan layanan informasi dalam menurunkan sikap positif siswa terhadap PCC

Paracetamol, Caffeine, and Carisoprodol (PCC) case of drug abuse became one of the special concerns for the government. It needs counseling service to help students abstain from PCC abuse. One of the way that can be provided is through information services. This study is to aim whether information services are effective to reduce students' positive attitudes toward PCC. This research is a quantitative research with pre-experimental design method in the form of the one group pretest-posttest design. Data were collected using attitude scale. Data were analyzed descriptively and hypothesis tested by using t test. The result of this research is information service effective in reducing students' positive attitude toward PCC. Moral Decadence Among Nigerian Youths As Future Leaders: A Socio-Cultural Regeneration

A day hardly ever pass without some media reports of ethno-religion conflicts, examination leakages, student unrest, secret cults, sexual abuse, certificate forgery, drug abuse and other cases of indiscipline across the country. Observations reveal that the youths are bad today, not only because of the negative societal influence but also because some homes have failed in their primary roles of inculcating socio-cultural values to the affected youths. This paper observes that moral regeneration of the Nigerian youths is not to be hinged solely and wholly on formal pedagogy. Traditional African people taught their young ones to be morally upright by devising effective and pragmatic ways of impacting certain ideals and virtues in them in order to mould them for leadership position of nation building in future. This discourse employs moral, social, cultural and theological springboards for the exposition through the use of secondary data. The paper recommended the reawakening of campaign on African traditional cultural values orientation and the encouragement of positive attitudes and values with the view of revamping the youths and the society from moral debility.
