Objective To explore the effect of noninvasive perineal care on the outcome and safety of vaginal delivery. Methods From June 2016 to December 2017, 80 cases of voluntary vaginal delivery in the hospital were selected and divided into the experimental group and the control group with 40 cases in each group according to the random number table method.Perineal noninvasive care was used in the experimental group and conventional care was used in the control group. The differences of outcome and duration of labor between the two groups were compared. Results Perineal injury, neonatal asphyxia and puerperal infection were less in the experimental group than in the control group. The second stage of labor and hospital stay were both shorter than those in the control group, and the postpartum blood loss at 2 hours was less than that in the control group. The postpartum pain score was also significantly lower than that in the control group. Difference was statistically significant(P<0.05). Conclusions The use of non-invasive perineal care without protection can effectively reduce the incidence of perineal lateral incision and injury, shorten the second labor process, and significantly improve the outcome of labor, which is worthy of clinical application.
