Pendampingan Pemerintah Desa dalam Penyusunan Proposal Usaha dan Laporan Keuangan Pelaku UMKM Guna Peningkatan Pendapatan Masyarakat Kecamatan Dau, Kabupaten Malang

Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) play an important role in Indonesia. MSMEs have shown their tenacity and survived the economic crisis. In line with the Covid-19 pandemic, it is hoped that MSMEs will survive again. Especially among MSMEs in Dau District, Malang Regency, whose fields include culinary, agriculture, fisheries and crafts. This group was chosen because of the high number of MSMEs in Dau District, Malang Regency and the abundant potential of natural resources (HR) in the area. The aim of this research is to examine and analyze the effectiveness of the results of assistance in preparing business proposals and analyzing financial reports for MSME actors in Dau District so that they can be used as a reference and make business improvements, become individual financial strength, so that they can make a big commitment to national finance. The research method used is field research carried out through direct interviews with village heads (or those who know the village program) and 1 MSME actor in the 5 selected villages. This activity stage begins with clarifying the obstacles that MSMEs often face, followed by clarifying the importance of strategic agreements, the efforts taken in preparing strategic plans, and the importance of auditing budget reports. The results of this research show that the majority of people in running their businesses do not understand how to make, prepare a feasible proposal, and how to classify financial reports in obtaining a capital strategy for MSMEs. Almost all MSMEs in Dau Village do not comply with the assistance and expectations of the village government. So the community does not have access to capital from BUMN or the government.

Working capital management is important for a company's financial statements and performance. It helps a company maintain a balance between its current assets and liabilities, and ensure future solvency. Working capital management aims to ensure that a company has enough cash to meet its short-term debt obligations and operating expenses. It also aims to invest a company's assets in the most successful direction possible. Working capital management involves tracking cash and cash needs, forecasting needs, monitoring cash balances, and optimizing cash flows. The critical role of Working capital management in ensuring the financial health and operational efficiency of businesses. Effective management of working capital comprising inventory, accounts receivable, and accounts payable directly influences a company's liquidity, profitability, and overall performance. The findings underscore the necessity for companies to adopt a proactive approach to working capital, as it can enhance financial stability and competitive advantage in an ever-evolving business landscape. This paper aims to provide valuable insights for financial managers and decision-makers looking to improve their working capital strategies. BHEL follows rules and regulations to maintain a balance between current assets and liabilities. A study on BHEL found that the company has short term solvency and a satisfactory level of net working capital. Interrelation between human capital management and ESG engagement: evidence from S&P 500 firms

This study investigates the relationship between human capital management strategies and corporate sustainability commitments while also examining the moderating role of CEO tenure in shaping this relationship. Drawing on a panel dataset of 413 S&P 500 companies spanning 2011 to 2023, we empirically tested the impact of various human capital management practices, including employee productivity, technology-enabled training investments, workforce diversity, pay equity, and employee benefits, on firms’ ESG performance. We further explored how CEO tenure influenced the effectiveness of these practices in driving sustainability outcomes. Our findings reveal significant positive associations between human capital management effectiveness and corporate ESG performance, highlighting the importance of talent management strategies in promoting sustainable business practices. Moreover, CEO tenure positively moderates the relationship between human capital management and ESG performance, suggesting that longer-tenured CEOs are better positioned to align their human capital strategies with sustainability goals. This study contributes to the literature by bridging the gap between human capital management and sustainability research, providing empirical evidence of the mechanisms through which talent management practices drive sustainability performance, and highlighting the critical role of leadership tenure in shaping these relationships. Our findings have important implications for corporate governance, strategic leadership, and sustainable human resource management practices and offer insights into how organizations can effectively integrate human capital and sustainability considerations to drive long-term value creation.

The Antecedents Of Organizational Performance With Corporate Carbon Management Strategy As Moderation

In recent years, the rapid growth of civilization and industrialization has had a significant impact on environmental sustainability. The rise of human revolution and technological developments aimed at making people's lives more comfortable have indirectly contributed to environmental degradation, thus causing adverse effects on human health. Excessive exploitation of natural resources has drawn public attention to environmental issues both at national and international levels. This study aims to examine the effect of Green Supply Chain Management, Green Intellectual Capital, and Competitive Business Strategy on organizational performance, and to examine whether Corporate Carbon Management Strategy can strengthen the effect of Green Supply Chain Management, Green Intellectual Capital, and Competitive Business Strategy on organizational performance. The type of data used in this study is primary data in the form of financial reports of companies that are used as samples. The research method used in this study is a quantitative research method. The sample was selected using the purposive sampling method. For hypothesis testing, this study uses multiple linear regression analysis. Based on the results of this study, it shows that Green Supply Chain Management and Competitive Business Strategy have an effect on Organizational Performance, but Green Intellectual Capital, have not effect on Organizational Performance. Carbon Management Strategy strengthens the influence of Green Supply Chain Management and Competitive Business Strategy on Organizational Performance and Carbon Management Strategy does not strengthen the influence of Green Intellectual Capital Strategy on Organizational Performance

The Role and Development Trends of Venture Funds in the Innovative Development of the Economy: Uzbekistan and International Experience

In order to drive economic innovation, this study examines the crucial function and evolutionary trajectory of venture capital, concentrating on Uzbekistan and making comparisons with international patterns. While industrialized countries successfully use venture capital to support high-tech companies and entrepreneurship, Uzbekistan faces obstacles like restrictive private investment and lax legal frameworks. By means of statistical and comparative studies, the report pinpoints a noteworthy surge in venture capital investments in Uzbekistan in recent times, with noteworthy contributions to technological startups and innovative firms. Further advancement is hampered, therefore, by inadequate finance systems and unpredictable investment. The results demonstrate the transformative potential of removing these obstacles through incentives for private participation and legislative changes. In order to maintain innovation-driven growth and improve economic competitiveness, it is imperative that venture capital strategies be optimized, as this study highlights.

Human Capital Plan Analysis in Improving Competitiveness and Productivity at FranchiseGlobal.com

This research aims to analyze the Human Capital Plan strategy implemented by FranchiseGlobal.com to increase the competitiveness and productivity of the company. This research collects data through interviews, documentation, and direct observation using a qualitative descriptive approach. This study also evaluates the implementation of McKinsey's 7S Framework in the Human Capital strategy at FranchiseGlobal.com. The results showed that FranchiseGlobal.com has implemented a strategy divided into short, medium, and long term to improve recruitment, employee development, and talent retention. Although the company has made progress in HR management, there are still challenges in building an inclusive corporate culture and integrating new technologies in the HR management process. This research concludes that the Human Capital Plan implemented at FranchiseGlobal.com effectively supports company growth but requires improvement in technology and cultural inclusion.

Incremental marketization reforms and venture capital strategy adjustments: Based on industrial chain innovation development

Marketization reforms are essential for ensuring long-term development. This paper examines the effect and mechanisms of marketization reforms on venture capital strategy adjustments using panel data from 31 provinces in China from 2010 to 2022. The study finds that marketization reforms have increased the level of venture capital primarily by enhancing industrial chain innovation and reducing tax burdens. Based on the findings, recommendations are proposed to deepen marketization reforms and advance venture capital strategy adjustments in China.

The Focus and Evolution of Corporate Social Responsibility in the United Arab Emirates

Through in-depth interviews with public- and private-sector decision-makers, this qualitative study investigated modern corporate social responsibility (CSR) and its future path in the United Arab Emirates (UAE). Quality education, health and well-being, environment, community development, circular economy, alignment with national priorities, consumer protection and public-private partnerships were discovered as core CSR priorities. Participants identified economic diversification, rebranding, increased environmental stability, strengthened corporate citizenship, improved regulation, and widespread differentiation as future focuses in the evolution of CSR in the UAE. The current and future emphasis of CSR is propelled by the UAE’s sustainable development objectives and human capital strategy. Transparent regulations, robust environmental, social, and governance (ESG) standards, and innovative strategies can distinguish responsible companies apart in the UAE. Nevertheless, it is expected that CSR will be further integrated into key business activities, aligning with evolving national economic visions, collaboration between sectors, and orientation towards a long-term impact on society. In deed the reputations of companies are enhanced through rigorous adherence to ESG standards, transparency regulations, and innovative approaches. Hence, there has been a strategic shift towards environmental sustainability, stakeholder capitalism, and robust regulation, shaping a highly competitive, impact-focused CSR environment in the UAE, consistent with economic diversification plans.

Intellectual Capital Strategy in Increasing the Financial Performance and Empowerment of BUM Desa in Indonesia

Intellectual capital is an intangible asset consisting of knowledge and networks, which are believed to increase economic added value in the business. In the context of the enactment of Undang-Undang No. 6 tahun 2014 concerning villages, BUM Desa has an important role as an economic institution at the village level which is expected to become one of the main pillars of economic development. This study aims to identify and measure the extent to which intellectual capital is present in BUM Desa, and also to analyze the impact of the relationship between this intellectual capital and the financial performance of BUM Desa. The study was carried out by BUM Desa in Tambang District, Riau Province, as a case example. Intellectual capital measurement was carried out through a Likert scale analysis, while financial performance was measured through the ability of BUM Desa to generate profits and control costs. A descriptive approach was used to describe the relationship between intellectual capital and financial performance. The results of the study show that the intellectual capital of BUM Desa is formed from three main dimensions – structural capital, relational capital, and human capital. BUM Desa is able to generate profits from assets that are more efficient than equity funding and can reduce costs to maximize profits. Accumulation by contamination: Worldwide cost-shifting strategies of capital in waste management

With this article, we propose an analytical and conceptual tool to illuminate connections between capital development and environmental injustices. The research examines how capital-driven industrial policies foster changes in social metabolisms and cause new socio-environmental impacts, leading to ecological distribution conflicts. It also explores why diverse actors mobilise and resist these changes. Building on Kapp’s ecological economics theory of social costs and David Harvey’s concept of accumulation by dispossession, we highlight the role of capital accumulation in environmental injustices through cost-shifting strategies, terming it “Accumulation by Contamination” (AbC). In this context, AbC refers to the process wherein capital socialises the costs of contamination, degrading the means of existence and bodies of human beings who oppose these processes of capital valorisation and engage in environmental conflicts. We make a compelling case for AbC by exploring waste-related conflicts at various industrial developmental stages. Waste, viewed as a ’common bad,’ emerges as a strategic realm for capitalists seeking to expand the scale and scope of accumulation. The intricacies of waste management, its market potential, and guaranteed profitability through subsidies and processes of financialisation attract significant investments globally. Quantitative and qualitative waste management assessments demonstrate that waste policies often favour businesses, leading to cost-shifting of waste management to society (in Naples, Italy; and Delhi, in India) and the dispossession of waste-pickers (in Delhi). More broadly, we emphasise the importance of integrating ecological economics and Marxist critical geography to address environmental challenges. We also analytically study the diverse actors responding to various capital strategies, fostering transformative political actions for a sustainable future. Climate change is arguably the most significant waste disposal conflict due to excessive carbon dioxide production, representing a quintessential example of Accumulation by Contamination (AbC).

Gradual market development reforms and venture capital strategy adjustments: Evidence based on industrial chain innovation and development

This study explores the relationship between gradual market development reforms and venture capital strategy, focusing on the mediation of industrial chain innovation. The results indicate that market development reforms significantly facilitate the strategic adjustment of venture capital. Moreover, industrial chain innovation is an important mediator between market reforms and venture capital strategies. Heterogeneity analysis revealed that the significant reform effects in the eastern regions highlight regional differences, ushering in-depth reforms and capital allocation.

Abstract For any given amount of tax revenue obtained from a specific tax, the standard model of economists focuses on the financial incentives in the tax schedule and requires that inevitable and unavoidable trade-offs are made between individuals who receive different levels of tax rates. Increasing the work incentives for one group or in one part of the earnings distribution necessarily requires that those incentives are decreased for some other group or in some other range. But a more attractive set of policy options consists of those that combine these considerations with work programmes drawn from a mix of employment and human capital strategies for different segments of the recipient population. Worth exploring are greater connections between individuals on benefit and the educational sector, sectoral employment and training strategies—including some with conditionality, even if only in a mild form—and other strategies to increase long-run earnings capabilities.

The development of the modern business world requires companies to not only focus on achieving financial profits, but also to make positive contributions to society and the surrounding environment. This research aims to investigate the influence of Corporate Social Responsibility and Intellectual Capital strategies on company value and financial performance. Thus, this research aims to provide a better understanding of the importance of this strategy in the context of corporate management. This research was carried out using an associative approach and followed the steps of quantitative research work. The data analysis process was carried out using a panel data linear regression test. The results of the analysis show that effective implementation of CSR strategies and good management of Intellectual Capital have a positive influence on company value and financial performance. This indicates that companies that prioritize these aspects tend to experience improvements in their competitiveness and financial performance.

The complicated relationship between political tribalism, meritocracy, and human capital in Kuwait emerges as an important focus in the changing landscape of modern organizations. This paper carefully examines this complex relationship, demonstrating its significant implications for human capital management. Political tribalism, which is closely associated with power systems, has a noticeable impact on core human capital processes like hiring, training, and career advancement. In addition, the fundamental idea of a meritocracy promotes unbiased hiring practices by putting competence above affiliation. An in-depth understanding of the mediating role performed by human capital practices is necessary in order to effectively address complex political elements while firmly maintaining meritocratic values. The findings presented here apply to similar organizational situations other than Kuwait. The digitalization of human capital strategies has become a crucial element in enhancing employee quality in the current digital era. In an increasingly interconnected and dynamic business environment, companies need to adopt innovative approaches to strengthen and optimize their human resources. Human capital comprises a combination of knowledge, skills, innovation, and individual capabilities to create value in achieving specific goals. However, the quality of employees at PT. Tuah Turangga Agung, especially in terms of digitalization, still needs improvement. Employee development plans related to digitalization have not been fully realized. This research aims to explore the role of digitalized human capital strategies in enhancing employee quality at the company. Through the application of information and communication technology, companies can improve efficiency in human resource management. Digital innovation and automation enable companies to recruit, identify potential talents, and track employee progress more effectively. This study employs descriptive qualitative and quantitative methods to depict the impact of digitalized human capital strategies on employee quality development. The results indicate a significant and positive effect, urging companies to invest in digital solutions to enhance their workforce quality.

An Empirical Review of Capital Structure Decision-Making

The capital structure reflects the proportional relationship between a company's debt and equity, indicating the company's ability to repay debt and refinance. The quality of the capital structure determines the company's future profitability and development trend, serving as an indispensable indicator of the company's financial situation. However, with approximately 70 million companies in the global market, their scales and operating conditions vary in stability and growth. Additionally, their financial and asset structures differ significantly and are subject to macroeconomic fluctuations every year. The risk preferences and attitudes of managers and investors in every enterprise are subjective and affect the development plan of the enterprise. Moreover, tax and fiscal policies in different countries and regions also influence the capital strategies of enterprises. Furthermore, after a successful listing, the capital structure of the enterprise undergoes fundamental changes, diversifying the sources of funds and experiencing new changes in operating models, which is beneficial to the future operational planning and financial strength of funds. Nevertheless, not all companies that go public are beneficial to their development, such as Huawei, Heinz Group, Koch Industrial Group, etc., due to changes in capital structure after going public being detrimental to future corporate profits. Hence, the capital structure of enterprises in different countries, regions, or types of scale needs to be tailored to local conditions. Enterprises should analyze specific situations to establish a more reasonable capital structure with the aim of optimizing company operations.

An Evolutionary Game Analysis of the Main Body Collaboration of Public-Private Cooperation Projects in Rural Environment

An evolutionary game model was established to study the evolutionary stability strategy of government and social capital in the public-private cooperation model of rural environmental governance and its influencing factors, and to explore the evolution process of cooperative behavior of the main body. The research shows that income distribution, risk distribution, supervision intensity and reward and punishment amount are important factors that affect the choice of cooperative strategy of the main body in the public-private cooperation project of rural environmental governance, and determine the evolution direction of the coordination of the main body behavior. Reducing the cooperative cost, appropriately increasing the risk bearing, and improving the supervision and reward and punishment intensity are conducive to the establishment of the collaborative behavior of the main body in the public-private cooperation model of rural environmental governance.

A study on working capital management of a conglomerate: with reference to ITC LMT

This study digs into the complex dynamics of working capital management inside conglomerates, with a special focus on ITC Limited. As conglomerates like ITC operate in a complex environment, successfully managing working capital becomes critical to their financial health and sustainability. However, conglomerates' distinct qualities, such as diverse industry exposure, worldwide expansion, and the incorporation of sustainability practises, need a thorough evaluation of their working capital strategy. By empirically analysing the complexities of working capital management inside conglomerates, this study fills a large research vacuum in the existing literature. It explores the following major areas using a combination of quantitative and qualitative analyses. Working Capital in a Diversified Portfolio: The research looks at how ITC Limited, a conglomerate with holdings in FMCG, hospitality, agriculture, and tobacco, manages its working capital in the face of sectoral heterogeneity. It investigates whether sector-specific factors have a major impact on working capital decisions. Geographic Diversification: The study investigates the impact of geographic diversification on the working capital management of ITC Limited, taking into account both domestic and international businesses. Financial Instrument Utilization: The study investigates the strategic use of financial instruments such as short-term debt, commercial paper, and derivatives in optimizing the conglomerate's working capital needs. Sustainability Integration: This study looks into the incorporation of sustainability and ESG concepts into ITC Limited's working capital management methods, emphasizing the alignment between profitability and environmental and social responsibility. In conclusion, this research paper not only enriches the understanding of working capital management in the context of conglomerates but also provides insights that can be extended to diversified corporations across various industries and regions. The findings contribute to the development of nuanced working capital management frameworks that align with the diverse and evolving needs of conglomerates, further illuminating the path to financial success and sustainability in an intricate and ever-changing business landscape.
