This paper contains the investigation of machining characteristics and machining parameters optimization while drilling Nimonic C263 alloy. The proposed method is designed as per Taguchi’s Design and drilling trials are conducted utilizing ALCRONA coated drills. An empirical model has been proposed for process performance prediction via RSM (Response Surface Methodology). The optimization of multi response has also been carried out depends on function of desirability approach. The optimized cutting conditions were established. Confirmation tests were conducted to confirm the modelling results.
