Perancangan Aplikasi Pencatatan Dan Monitoring Performa Transaksi Penjualan Cabang Waralaba Teh Manis Solo Berbasis Website (Studi Kasus : Teh Manis Solo Siska)

Teh Manis Solo is a franchise engaged in the beverage sales sector. Siska Andriyani, as the franchisee, purchaseda partnership package and owns three branches in three different locations. The first branch is located at Jl. PuloHarapan Indah, West Jakarta. The second branch is located at Jl. M Toha, Tangerang City, and the third branchis located at Jl. Prabu Siliwangi, Tangerang City. In running her business, Teh Manis Solo Siska faces severalchallenges, such as recording transactions from the three branches still using a manual system, sales transactionsnot being recorded in detail since the records are based on how many thermos were sold today, and each branch'stransaction data must be monitored through direct inspections. Consequently, the owner finds it difficult tomonitor and know the types of beverages sold at each branch and control the business processes at each TehManis Solo Siska branch. To address these issues, a web-based application for Sales Transaction Recording andFranchise Branch Transaction Performance Monitoring of Teh Manis Solo is being developed. Theprogramming language used for designing and developing the application is PHP (Hypertext Preprocessor)using the CodeIgniter framework, and data processing is done using MySQL. The development method used isthe Waterfall model. The data collection process that will be implemented includes direct observation,interviews, and literature study. The hope is that this application will solve the problems faced by the businessowner in the process of recording sales transactions, expenditures, and monitoring as well as controlling businessprocesses at each branch.

Video Generative AI in Digital Marketing: A SWOT Analysis on E-Commerce

Artificial Intelligence (AI) is reshaping the way various business processes are performed, most rapidly in digital marketing, due to its advanced computational capabilities. ECommerce companies are in advantageous position to adopt and reap the benefits of AI for many reasons including the readily available computational infrastructure and big data related to their users and processes. Meanwhile, big tech companies and startups are competing to create and improve generative AI models, that create high-definition videos based on inputs in the form of text, image or videos. The current research specifically aims to analyse the video outputs of various video generating AI models available for digital marketing purposes in ecommerce businesses and to rationally analyse how those video generative AI models benefit or affect e-commerce companies. To meet the research objectives, mixed methodologies of experimentation and content analysis were deployed. It was observed that the video outputs from the tested models were not yet suitable for digital marketing and appeared underdeveloped. Additionally, the SWOT analysis revealed advantages like low costs, alongside concerns such as intellectual property issues.

Determinants of ICT Adoption in Business for Emerging SME Entrepreneurs in Indonesia

This study investigates the factors of ICT adoption by early-level small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in Indonesia after the pandemic. The study was conducted among 237 new SME entrepreneurs from Indonesia's sixth-highest economic growth regions, with a confirmatory analysis of ICT adoption constructs in a structural equation model (SEM) analysis. This study showed that the benefits and integration with consumers are SMEs' main determinants when adopting ICT when starting their business. This condition is a rational response from SMEs when they begin their business in Indonesia's post-pandemic economic recovery conditions, which need to immediately emerge to capture the market with the efficiency and effectiveness of business processes. The study's results empirically provide a valid and reliable description of the determinants of ICT adoption for strengthening post-pandemic SME business practices and theoretically offer empirical evidence of factors for improving and strengthening digital transformation in business through usefulness and integration with consumers.

A comparative study of LLMs and NLP approaches for supporting business process analysis

ABSTRACT This paper compares two approaches to support Business Process Analysis (BPA) for the construction of a Business Process Knowledge Base (BPKB). The methodology is based on the BPA Canvas metamodel, which starts from the preliminary output of the business analysis (an interview). We focus on the extraction of key elements from the text to build the BPKBcore. We experiment with approaches based on Natural Language Processing (NLP) and Large Language Models (LLMs), using a running example to compare the outcomes with manual annotations. The experiment shows that the LLM-based approach yields better performance, especially with enriched prompts.

Leveraging Business Analytics for Enhanced Decision-Making Navigating Challenges and Exploiting Opportunities

Business analytics (BA) is revolutionizing how businesses use data to gain a competitive advantage. It offers opportunities for deeper customer insights, targeted marketing campaigns, improved customer satisfaction, new product and service opportunities, and optimized business processes. However, challenges like data quality, talent acquisition, and ethical considerations exist. This study reviews BA literature and discusses the challenges faced by organizations in implementing business analytics, including data availability, quality, skills and training, and technology infrastructure considerations. We conducted a study on 133 analytics professionals in Lahore, Pakistan. Data availability and quality, skills and training, and technology infrastructure all had a positive and significant impact on business analytics challenges and opportunities. The findings aim to contribute to a better understanding of business analytics, implementation challenges, and opportunities.

MODELING OF THE AUTOMATED COMPLEX COMPONENTS FOR SEGREGATED RESIDUES GATHERING OF OPERATIONAL PRINTING

Abstract. An overview of the printing industry primary measures regarding the balanced implementation of the sustainable development goals at the regional level was carried out. Based on the latest works analysis in the direction of the enlargement of branch waste management systems, the solutions insufficiency for the limited financial situations of small businesses is revealed, and the relevance of finding optimal means of gathering segregated waste and their temporary storage at the enterprise is shown. The criteria have been established and the stratification of typical categories of orders the operational printing has been carried out according to print run and rest volume. The requirements for the collection and storage of waste raw materials and consumables have been clarified and expanded, in particular regarding the provision of microclimatic conditions. In order to model effective business processes of pro­duction residues management, the construction of a universal complex for target cumulative of pre-segregated substrate scraps in the form of a smart container with a weighing terminal is substantiated. For flexible allocation of corporate flows, the hardware part is implemented from measuring, supervisory and communication blocks depending on their purpose in the automated microprocessor platform. The researched printing waste types the built algorithm of the life cycle of their cumulating made it possible to draw up an architectural diagram of segregator system and determine the main components hierarchy of printing waste receptacle when order manufacturing. As a result, analytical models were built and the modeling of automated complex of segregated residues gathering in operational printing was carried out based on created microcontroller system for monitoring of mass and climate control of cumulated surpluses to maintenance proper conditions their subsequent recycling.

The Role of Technology and Automation in Streamlining Business Processes and Productivity for SMEs

Purpose: This research investigates the vital role of automation in enhancing business process efficiency and overall productivity within SMEs. It also discusses how technology can help overcome bottlenecks arising from human operation, resource limitation, and operational inefficiency, which have commonly been experienced by SMEs. Materials and Methods: The study combines an extensive review of existing literature with case studies from various industries to evaluate the effects of automation tools on SME operations. These tools range from cloud-based solutions to AI-powered systems, providing insights into their impact across different business processes. Findings: Research has shown that automation improves productivity in SMEs by up to 30%, reduces manual errors by 25%, and enhances data accuracy by improving employee focus on strategic tasks. In addition, the standardization of processes through automation ensures less variability in output. Automation also impacts customer experience positively by ensuring speed in service delivery and quality improvement in products. High upfront costs, however, combined with a shortage in skilled personnel and integrating new technologies with existing systems, remain barriers to wider adoption by SMEs. Implications to Theory, Practice and Policy: Accordingly, the study recommends that the following measures be taken to counteract the problems posed: phase in automation, cooperate with technology providers who will devise cost-effective solutions, and invest in comprehensive training programs to fill the skills gap. Government incentives, such as tax breaks and subsidies, could also push SMEs toward broader automation. Thereafter, successful integration of automation will enhance the competitiveness of SMEs and create a sustainable growth path in the digital economy.

The Application of Big Data Technology in Supply Chain Cost Control: The Case of IKEA

Abstract: Supply chain management is important in all aspects of business processes. With the advent of the information age, big data technology has become important in developing all aspects of our country. Appropriate use of big data technology in supply chain cost management by enterprises can not only improve their ability to analyse and master data but also timely control the cost expenditure issues in different links of the supply chain, improve management systems, and enhance the companys core competitiveness. In order to improve the efficiency and accuracy of supply chain management, this study explores the application of big data technology in enterprise supply chain cost control and data analysis. This study uses big data as the background to analyse the costs of several important links in the supply chain of IKEA. It combines the discovered problems with big data technology to improve them, hoping to be helpful to the development of IKEA and related industries.

Development of a digital profile of a university teacher

Currently, digitalization is a cross-cutting business process in the higher education system. Digital transformation has affected both the functioning of the higher education system in general and the activities of each university and participants in the educational process in particular.An important problem is the adaptation of teachers to a dynamically changing digital environment, taking into account the requirements for the level of digital competencies resulting from the specifics of the digital environment, and the already existing level of digital literacy of the teacher. In a modern university, a teacher is a multifunctional subject who performs educational, methodological, research, and administrative tasks, the solution of which is often associated with working in the digital environment of an educational organization.The article presents a model of the digital environment of a university with an emphasis on human resources and digital services is presented, which allows the development of a policy for managing changes and transformation processes in universities. The thesis that the digital environment determines the level of requirements for the digital competencies of teachers is substantiated.The authors propose an evaluation method for the teacher’s digital literacy, which makes it possible to develop the teacher’s digital profile considering the educational, methodological, administrative, and research activities.

A Detailed Analysis on Evaluation of Green Computing

Abstract: Currently, computers are not only used in offices but utilized at home as well. The amount of energy consumed by the growing daily use of computers contributes to a rise in the atmosphere's carbon content. The IT sector is mostly to blame for 3% of the world's energy usage, which is rising by 20% annually. These days, green computing is a very emerging topic today. He is responsible for the use of computers and associated resources. It encompasses the application of energy efficient processors, servers and peripherals, along with less resource usage and appropriate electronic waste disposal waste. Enhancing the life cycle efficiency of IT devices and approving the recycling of wasteful items and manufacturing waste are the main objectives of green computing. The methods for conserving green energy and their potential applications are discussed in this article. By "aligning all IT processes and practices with the core principles of sustainability, which are to reduce, reuse, and recycle; and finding innovative ways to use IT in business processes to deliver sustainability benefits across the enterprise and beyond," green computing can also create beneficial solutions. Green computing and green chemistry share many of the same objectives, including minimizing the use of hazardous materials, optimizing energy efficiency over the course of a product's lifetime, and fostering the recyclable or biodegradable nature of factory waste and non-operational products .

PERANCANGAN SISTEM ENTERPRISE RESOURCE PLANNING (ERP) TERHADAP PENGADAAN BAHAN BAKU, PENJUALAN, DAN PRODUKSI PADA CV. JAYA LOGAM MENGGUNAKAN SOFTWARE ODOO

CV. Jaya Logam faced various operational challenges caused by ineffective sales and raw material inventory recording systems, leading to production delays, errors in information delivery, and difficulties in monitoring and decision-making. This research was conducted to address these issues through system needs analysis, design, and testing of an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system using Odoo software. The methodological process involved a detailed analysis of system requirements, system design using Unified Modelling Language (UML) diagrams to visualize the system architecture, and system testing using the Black Box Testing method to ensure the reliability and effectiveness of the designed system. The testing results showed that the developed ERP system successfully met all 12 test class parameters, indicating that the system is valid and can be implemented effectively. The implementation of this ERP system at CV. Jaya Logam resulted in significant improvements in operational efficiency and data accuracy, better business process integration, and the provision of real-time information that supports faster and more accurate decision-making processes.

ORGANIZATION OF COUNTERMEASURES AGAINST THE NEGATIVE IMPACT OF RISKS IN LOGISTICS TRANSPORT SYSTEMS

The article is devoted to the issue of effective management decision-making in the organization of counteracting the negative consequences of the impact of risks in logistics transport systems. The purpose of the article is to identify risks in the logistics transport system and provide adaptive information on risk management strategies and recommendations. Modernization of the management mechanism based on risk management tools is relevant to ensure the efficiency and reliability of the logistics transport system at all its levels. The study established the fundamental characteristics of the risk management process and developed a set of management measures to reduce transport risks for logistics transport systems. This set of measures significantly affects the reduction of the negative impact of risks on each of the components of the transport and logistics system at different levels of management and is the basis for the integration of management methods, models and tools into a single mechanism, which is a systematic approach to risk management of the logistics transport system. The results of this study create a comprehensive basis for risk management of the logistics transport system. The results of this study indicate that the proposed systematic approach to risk management of the logistics transport system can be defined as an integrated management of business processes related to the promotion of products and the corresponding flows from their source to the final consumer. The effectiveness of this approach has been demonstrated in achieving optimal efficiency of transport enterprises. In the light of the above considerations, the implementation of this systemic approach serves to create an appropriate organizational basis for the implementation of countermeasures against the negative consequences of the impact of risks in logistics transport systems. In essence, it is a risk management tool.

Evaluating early predictive performance of machine learning approaches for engineering change schedule – A case study using predictive process monitoring techniques

By applying machine learning algorithms, predictive business process monitoring (PBPM) techniques provide an opportunity to counteract undesired outcomes of processes. An especially complex variation of business processes is the engineering change (EC) process. Here, failing to adhere to planned implementation dates can have severe impacts on assembly lines, and it is paramount that potential negative cases are identified as early as possible. Current PBPM research, however, has seldomly investigated the predictive performance of machine learning approaches and their applicability at early process steps, let alone for the EC process. In our research, we show that given adequate feature encoding, shallow learners can accurately predict schedule adherence after process initialisation. Based on EC data from an automotive manufacturer, we provide a case sensitive performance overview on algorithm-encoding combinations. For that, three algorithms (XGBoost, Random Forest, LSTM) were combined with four encoding techniques. The encoding techniques used were the two common aggregation-based and index-based last state encoding, and two new combinations of these, which we term advanced aggregation-based and complex aggregation-based encoding. The study indicates that XGBoost-index-encoded approaches outclass regarding average predictive performance, whereas Random-Forest-aggregation-encoded approaches perform better regarding temporal stability due to reduced influence by dynamic features. Our research provides a case-based reasoning approach for deciding on which algorithm-encoding combination and evaluation metrics to apply. In doing so, we provide a blueprint for an early warning and monitoring method within the EC process and other similarly complex processes.

Information and Technology Governance Capability Analysis Using COBIT 2019: Case Study of CV Wirelessindo

The implementation of IT supports company sustainability. Large companies use IT as an integral part of their business model. Digital strategies must align with business strategies to achieve sustainability. Wirelessindo, established in 2007, provides IT solutions such as equipment, site surveys, network design and security, and tower installations. Its mission is to increase company productivity to win the competition in the era of Industry 4.0. IT is used to enhance customer service and internal business process efficiency. Initial investigations found issues with IT function mismatches, financial losses due to data loss, errors in IT equipment installation and configuration, and business process incidents caused by emerging risks. Identified root problems include employee knowledge gaps, risk management disparities, errors in defining business needs, and change management gaps. Based on these findings, IT governance evaluation was chosen as the research focus. This study aims to provide an overview of CV Wirelessindo IT capability levels and recommendations for improvements to meet expected levels. COBIT 2019 were used in this study. The General Manager, IT Division Manager, Software Development Team, Network Monitoring Team, Project Manager, and HR Manager were selected as respondents based on the Responsible, Accountable, Checked, Informed chart guidelines. Of the nine selected objectives, BAI08 showed level 0. APO12, BAI02, BAI06, BAI07, and DSS01 showed level 1. APO07, BAI10, and DSS03 showed capability level 2. Therefore, 61 recommendations were provided to raise the IT governance capability level to level 3 for all objectives.

Technique of functional simulation as a tool for providing the required quality of fortified bakery products

Relevance. The problem of irrational and unbalanced nutrition is relevant for almost all regions of Russia. There is a need to enrich everyday products with micronutrients that are of particular importance in the diet. Fortified bread and bakery products with specified consumer properties in the diet can be one of such valuable products.Methods. The methodology of structural analysis and design of systems (Structured Analysis and Design Technique, SADT) is often used in life cycle management of complex high-tech products and has not found wide application in the food industry. The authors substantiate the need to introduce tools for functional and graphical modeling of business processes that implement the SADT methodology in life cycle management to ensure the quality of finished bakery products.Results. An original generalized functional and logical model of the process “To produce enriched bread (bakery products) with regionally significant micronutrients” has been developed. The analysis of the technology of enriched bakery products, carried out at various levels of decomposition of the process, revealed that the quality of the finished product is significantly influenced by the choice of the technological stage of applying the components of the mixture proposed for the enriching composition. It has been established that preference should be given to organic forms of additives — components of the enriching composition. To preserve the nutritional properties of bakery products, an enriching composition is proposed to be applied to the surface of the finished product. The proposed method has been tested in experimental production conditions. Its manufacturability and controllability of the proposed technical solutions are proved. The approach to functional and graphical modeling of food technologies developed by the authors on the example of bakery products opens up prospects for improving the quality of finished products and can be widely used in food engineering.

The purpose behind BPaaS is to turn multiple service companies into a corporate process system that can then be provided as its own service to consumers. Naturally, BPaaS providers target common or proven business processes applicable to a broad potential market, or require multiple complex components management. This is attractive for customers, because it offers a cheap, low risk outsource option for integral business activities. Business Process as a Service (BPaaS) is an emerging sort of cloud provider that gives configurable and executable business processes to customers over the internet. As BPaaS is still in early years of research, many open troubles remain managing the configuration of BPaaS builds on regions which include software product strains and configurable commercial enterprise approaches. The problem has concerns to recollect from numerous perspectives, along with the different forms of variable features, constraints among configuration options, and gratifying the necessities supplied by the client. In this method, the system uses temporal logic templates to elicit transactional requirements from customers that the configured carrier ought to adhere to. A Business Management Model in the Circular Economy: Technological Solutions for Plastic Recycling

Objectives: this article develops a model for managing business processes in a circular economy using technologies for plastic recycling. Theoretical Framework: The theoretical idea and basis of the article consists in the development of project management methodology, process approach in the closed-loop economy, development of methods and economic tools aimed at effective resource management taking into account waste reduction and increased reuse of plastic fractions in Municipal Solid Waste (MSW). The application of digital technologies and solutions in the context of business process management in the field of plastics recycling will be substantiated, which will allow to identify new opportunities and reserves for optimising business processes in this field, increasing the efficiency of resource use, improving the environment and reducing costs. Method: the work uses a project approach, a process approach, digital modeling methods, and the “polluter pays” method. To implement the process approach, it is proposed to use the concept of Business Process Management (BPM). Competent business process management allows the company to react quickly to changing market conditions and customer orientation. Digital modelling in this paper means the representation of actions in the form of business processes in the organisation of solid waste management, the 'polluter pays' method means the economic assessment and accounting of environmental damage in waste management in the costs of business processes. Results and Discussion: The results of the study can be used to introduce the process approach to plastics recycling in individual regions and countries for the development of a green economy. According to the estimates of the authors, the optimisation and cost reduction of business processes, taking into account the environmental factor and the increase of the revenue part of the project from the reuse and inclusion in the economic turnover of plastic waste recycling products on the scale of the considered city (population of 1800 thousand people, area of 2856 ha, 18.14 tonnes of plastic waste accumulated per day) will reduce the costs of business process management by more than 200 thousand euros. Research Implications: the results of the study can be used to justify projects for the processing and recycling of solid municipal waste, including plastic waste, to introduce environmentally friendly production, to reduce the negative impact on the environment, to develop a process approach to the organisation of all activities for the collection of plastic waste in the city, district. In addition, the application of the proposed approach allows to obtain economic benefits for companies through the sale of secondary resources for the processing of plastic waste, as well as to reduce the negative impact on the environment. Originality/ Value: The originality of the research and its value lies in a new scientific formulation of the problem of reducing environmental pollution from plastic waste through the use of business processes in the field of plastic recycling and digital solutions, as well as the possibility of practical application of the results obtained in the field of green economy.

Operationalization of ESG-Integrated Strategy Through the Balanced Scorecard in FMCG Companies

The increasing focus on sustainability and climate change mitigation necessitates that corporate strategies not only build competitive advantage but also contribute to the creation of sustainable operations. The purpose of the article is to present, based on the analyses of the development of the strategic targets of leading Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) companies, a method for operationalizing an ESG-adapted corporate strategy within FMCG companies using the Balanced Scorecard (BSC). ESG, encompassing environmental, social, and governance factors, requires a shift in both strategic management theory and practice. The author explores how ESG metrics can be integrated into the traditional BSC framework alongside financial, customer, and business processes and learning and growth perspectives to align with the growing importance of sustainability. The study identifies specific measures that contribute to a successful transition toward sustainable business practices. The findings demonstrate that the BSC, when adapted to incorporate ESG considerations, is an effective tool for strategy implementation and operational management in FMCG companies. While the proposed framework focuses on the FMCG sector, it has potential applications across other industries. The article makes important theoretical contributions, though it would benefit from further empirical research, sector-specific comparisons, and a more detailed examination of external ESG factors that impact corporate strategy.
