Peran Guru dalam Membangun Pendidikan Karakter Melalui Nilai-Nilai Pancasila di Era Society 5.0

In the era of Society 5.0, technological developments have become an inseparable part of everyday life, which has a major influence on various sectors, including education. The challenges of globalization and digitalization require character building based on Pancasila values among students. Teachers play a strategic role in instilling and developing Pancasila values by integrating technology into the teaching and learning process. This study aims to investigate the role of teachers in building student character based on Pancasila in the era of Society 5.0. This research is a study that uses a library research type with a qualitative approach, and data is collected through documentation methods. The results of the study indicate the importance of teachers adapting to technology and implementing innovative teaching methods to strengthen the internalization of Pancasila values in students. In addition to functioning as educators, teachers also act as role models and facilitators in facing moral and social challenges in the digital era. In conclusion, the importance of the role of teachers in instilling and fostering values through character education for students in the era of Society 5.0 must be in line with the times so that various problems can be overcome in character education

Implementing Integrated Holistic Education System (IHES) for Character Building at Seven Skies International School in Selangor, Malaysia

The modern educational system emphasizes not only the intellectual development of students but also the formation of moral and social character. Traditional educational systems are often perceived as inadequate in meeting the demands of globalization, technological advancement, and social change. Seven Skies International School adopts the Integrated Holistic Education System (IHES) to address these needs by incorporating intellectual, emotional, spiritual, and physical aspects into student learning. The primary challenge in implementing IHES is maintaining a balance between academic achievement and the development of students' character, as well as ensuring that educators are capable of effectively guiding emotional and spiritual growth. Common obstacles include the lack of understanding and skills among teachers in comprehensively applying IHES. This study aims to analyze the implementation of IHES at Seven Skies International School, evaluate character-building strategies, and measure their impact on students' moral and social development. The methodology employed is a qualitative approach through observation, interviews, and document analysis. The research findings indicate that IHES positively influences students' moral and social development. However, several challenges were identified in its implementation, particularly concerning teacher training and the methods used for character evaluation, which require improvement. The study's recommendations include enhancing training programs for educators and developing more comprehensive methods for character assessment.

The Influence of Character Building and Parents Economic Conditions on Student Learning Achievement

Based on the observations, it was found that a significant number of eighth-grade students at SMP Negeri 1 Alasa demonstrate low academic achievement, as evidenced by their test scores not meeting the Minimum Competency Criteria (KKM). Additionally, many students in this grade frequently fail to complete homework and exhibit a lack of motivation during the learning process. This study aims to analyze the influence of Character building and parental economic conditions on the academic performance of eighth-grade students at SMP Negeri 1 Alasa in 2024. The research employed a quantitative methodology. The findings indicate that Character building, in isolation, has a significant impact on the academic performance of eighth-grade students at SMP Negeri 1 Alasa, with a t-value of 2.231, which exceeds the critical t-value of 1.673. On the other hand, parental economic conditions do not have a significant effect on students' academic achievement when considered independently. This is evidenced by a t-value of -0.084, which is below the critical t-value of 1.673. Thus, students can achieve academic success regardless of their parents' lower economic status, and wealthier parents do not necessarily guarantee improved academic performance in their children.

Implementation of a STEM and Wasaka Character-Integrated Module to Internalize Wasaka Character

STEM Education (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) plays a crucial role in elementary schools because it provides a strong foundation for students' skill development and understanding in science and technology. STEM education can help students develop critical thinking, problem-solving skills, and creativity from an early age This research aims to implement a STEM-integrated module infused with Wasaka character values to internalize the Wasaka character in students. The Wasaka character, comprising religiousness, resilience, responsibility, and independence, is vital for fostering holistic development. The study utilizes a one-group pre-test-post-test design with pre-test and post-test evaluations to measure the effectiveness of the module in enhancing character development. Data were collected through observations and questionnaires. The results indicate a significant improvement in the internalization of Wasaka character traits following the implementation of the module. The findings suggest that integrating STEM education with local cultural values can effectively contribute to character building. This study highlights the importance of culturally relevant education in shaping students' character.

Adaptation of Post-fortress Buildings as an Enrichment of the Functional Programme of a Housing Estate on the Example of Fort VIII Służew in Warsaw

The article refers to the problem of adaptation of post-fortress objects from the 19th century located in the strict urban tissue in Poland. The authors of the text analyse the example of adaptation of Fort VIII Służew in Warsaw as a way of making common spaces in housing estates more attractive. The rapid demilitarisation of fortresses from this period caused by the development of the art of war and the subsequent dynamic development of urban planning after the Second World War resulted in the degradation and disappearance of these valuable monuments. The Russian ring fortress of Warsaw is now entirely within the urban fabric. Introducing additions and new utility functions is becoming a way of protecting the existing stock of often degraded spaces left behind by former forts. On the example of Fort VIII Służew, a number of activities related to adaptation, revitalisation and revalorisation of the existing urbanised residential space in Ursynów district are presented. The analysed object together with its surroundings is an example of a way to use post-fortress spaces for both utilitarian and cognitive purposes while respecting historic values. Age-old fortifications, so well preserved in Poland, significantly define and shape urban layouts. The research carried out by the authors of this text shows that appropriate use of the potential of post-fortress buildings from the 19th century can significantly improve the quality and character of colonial buildings and highlight the values associated with this type of specific monument.

The Role of Folklore in Building Character and Early Childhood Language Skills

This study explores the role of folklore in shaping the character and language skills of early childhood learners. Folklore, rich in cultural values and moral lessons, serves as an effective medium for instilling virtues such as empathy, respect, and responsibility in young children. Through storytelling, children not only engage with the narratives but also enhance their linguistic abilities, including vocabulary acquisition, comprehension, and narrative skills. The research employs a qualitative approach, gathering data through observations, interviews with educators, and analyses of children's responses during storytelling sessions. The findings indicate that incorporating folklore into early education significantly promotes moral development and language proficiency among children. Furthermore, it highlights the necessity of integrating cultural narratives into educational practices to foster a holistic learning environment. The study underscores the importance of folklore as a vital tool for educators in nurturing the character and language skills of young learners, ultimately contributing to their overall development

MODEL PERCEIVED SOCIAL SUPPORT PEREMPUAN KADER SURABAYA HEBAT DALAM PENURUNAN PREVALENSI STUNTING

Stunting is a health problem in children due to chronic malnutrition that has a negative impact. Reducing the prevalence of stunting is a commitment of Kader Surabaya Hebat (KSH) women by prioritizing perceived social support. The role of KSH women as the leading sector in reducing the prevalence of stunting is evident in this study. This study aims to explore the model and process of perceived social support in the role of KSH women in the community. KSH women are also the main focus of the research and how the model becomes a modality of character building in Surabaya City. This research uses descriptive qualitative methods through observation and interviews. The results showed that the perceived social support model applied by KSH women is emotional support, instrumental support, information support, appreciation support, and social network support. The process of perceived social support starts from face-to-face dialogue, building trust, commitment to the process, sharing understanding, and temporary results that are carried out have gone well and are effective in reducing the prevalence of stunting in Surabaya City. EKSISTENSI SENI TARI KREASI MODERN DALAM MENGEMBANGKAN NILAI KARAKTER OLEH KAMPUS MENGAJAR 7 DI SDN 22 AMPENAN

Abstract : Dance is a form of regional culture that contains many cultural values ​​that are strong in social, cultural, philosophical and spiritual values. The cultural values ​​of each dance movement are able to describe the identity of a region. Students' personalities in character building through dance have the aim of being a form of existence in learning traditional dance at school in forming a learning process that is fun, creative, communicative and aesthetic (Ayu Retnoningsih, 2017). However, over time, traditional dance has faded with western culture, so the existence of character strengthening has had a decreasing impact. The development of the times coupled with technological developments seems to be eroding various local wisdom values, especially for the younger generation and children (Umi Mahmudah1 et al., n.d.). Therefore, the author wants to provide efforts to prevent the erosion of traditional culture and western culture by preserving dance movements and instilling character from elementary school age, especially at SDN 22 Ampenan. This research uses descriptive qualitative analysis. The research results were obtained through observation, interviews and documentation. With this dance training, it is hoped that it can preserve culture and also foster students' character of cooperation, tolerance, discipline, national spirit, love of the country, and responsibility. ANALISIS KESESUAIAN SKL, KI, KD, DAN INDIKATOR KURIKULUM PAI

ABSTRACT A thorough analysis of the alignment between SKL, KI, KD, and curriculum indicators of Islamic Education (PAI) is crucial to ensure that the curriculum developed is truly relevant to the needs of students and can significantly contribute to character building and a good understanding of Islam. This study aims to analyze the alignment between Graduate Competency Standards (SKL), Core Competencies (KI), Basic Competencies (KD), and indicators in the Islamic Education Curriculum (PAI). The alignment between these elements is a critical aspect in ensuring the effectiveness of the learning process and the achievement of the desired educational goals. The research method used is literature study with a descriptive qualitative approach. The results indicate that, in general, there is good alignment between SKL, KI, KD, and indicators; however, some discrepancies were found that could affect the achievement of student competencies. Some KD do not fully reflect the competencies expected in the SKL, and some indicators do not clearly measure the achievement of the set KD. These findings provide recommendations for improvements in the development and implementation of the PAI curriculum to be more integrated and consistent in achieving educational goals. Peningkatan Hasil Belajar Pendidikan Agama Katolik dengan Model PBL dalam materi Raja Salomo yang bijaksana Kelas V SDN 21 Hasinggaan

. This research aims to improve students' learning outcomes in the subject of Catholic Religious Education and Character Building by using the Problem-Based Learning (PBL) method in the lesson on King Solomon's wisdom for Grade V at SDN 21 Hasinggaan, Phase C. The PBL method was chosen because it encourages students to think critically, creatively, and become more active in the learning process. This Classroom Action Research (CAR) was conducted in two cycles, each consisting of the stages of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The data obtained from student learning evaluations showed a significant improvement after the application of the PBL method. Additionally, observations during the learning process indicated an increase in students' active participation and understanding of the material. Therefore, the PBL method has proven to be effective in enhancing students' learning outcomes in the lesson on King Solomon's wisdom in Grade V of elementary school.

Meningkatkan Hasil Belajar Melalui PBL bagi Peserta Didik Kelas VII SMPN 3 Pantai Labu

The low student achievment of catholic religious education and character building at lesson I have Abbility grade VII SMPN 3 Pantai labu was the problem background this research. This research aims to reminded student achievement through the problem-based learning model in PAK grade VII SMP Negeri 3 Pantai LabuThis type of research is classroom action research (PTK) which consist of two cycles. The research subject of students in grade VII SMP Negeri 3 Pantai Labu amounted to seven students consisting of five male students and two female students. The data collection technique in this study uses observation, test and documentation. The result of study was that the average score of students in the first cycle was fivety two then increased ninety in the second cycle. The improvement was seen significantly. This can be seen from the fact that number of students has increase quite a bit by fourty-four percent. This means that, if the PBL learning model is implements properly and consistently, it will improve student learning outcomes.

Peningkatan Hasil Belajar Siswa Melalui Model Pembelajaran Project Based Learning (PjBL) di SMP Negeri 1 Sungai Pinyuh Kabupaten Mempawah

This Classroom Action Research was conducted in the subject of Catholic Religious Education and Character Building for Grade VII at SMP Negeri 1 Sungai Pinyuh, Mempawah Regency, with the aim of implementing the Project Based Learning (PjBL). The PjBL model was chosen because it has the potential to encourage active student involvement in the learning process by completing projects that are relevant to the subject matter. This research is a Classroom Action Research (CAR) consisting of two cycles. The subjects of the research were 12 seventh-grade students.The research results show that in Cycle I, the average score was 73.33, categorized as Fair. Meanwhile, in Cycle II, the average score increased to 86.67, categorized as Good. Although there was still one student in Cycle II who had not yet met the required standard, the class-wide mastery of 80% was achieved, and the student in question participated in independent remedial activities. The improvement in students' post-test scores can be seen from the average score. The average score increased from 73.33, categorized as Fair, to 86.67, categorized as Good, with a 33.33% increase in student mastery. Thus, the PjBL model is effective in improving learning outcomes and student involvement in the learning process at SMP Negeri 1 Sungai Pinyuh.

Program Bina Keputrian dalam Mencegah Perilaku Hedonisme dan Sekularisme Siswi

Many female students dress in ways that indicate hedonism and engage in dating behaviors in the school environment that reflect secularism. This study aims to describe the activities of the female student program in preventing hedonistic and secular behaviors at Public vocational secondary schools 1 Katapang. This research uses a qualitative approach with a case study method. Data collection involved interviews, observations, and documentation. Data processing included condensation, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. Data validity was ensured through technique and source triangulation as well as confirmability. The research findings are: (1) Amaliah knowledge development: Strengthening Islamic brotherhood, Tahfidz and daily prayers programs, and Character building with noble ethics. (2) Women's development: The position of women, the obligation to cover and protect modesty, manners of speaking, and self-care. (3) Creativity development: Cooking classes, crafts, and public speaking. Conclusion: The female student program is effective in shaping better character among students, strengthening morality, enhancing practical skills, and making a significant contribution to preventing hedonism and secularism among female students.

Peningkatan Kreativitas Dan Kemandirian Belajar Peserta Didik Melalui Model Pembelajaran Problem Based Learning di SMP Negeri 6 Toho

This Classroom Action Research was conducted in the subject of Catholic Religious Education and Character Building for Grade VII at SMP Negeri 6 Toho, Mempawah Regency, with the aim of implementing the Problem-Based Learning (PBL) model to enhance students' creativity and learning independence. This research is a Classroom Action Research (CAR) consisting of two cycles. The subjects of the research were 11 seventh-grade students. The results showed that students' creativity and learning independence in Catholic Religious Education and Character Building, through the application of the Problem-Based Learning model, in Cycle I, the category of learning independence was low, at 49.43%, and in Cycle II, it increased to 80.68%. The improvement from Cycle I to Cycle II was 31.02%, with the achievement indicator reaching ≥ 80%. Furthermore, the observation results of students' creative thinking in Cycle I showed a creativity level of 67.5%, categorized as "Fair," and in Cycle II it increased to 87.5%, categorized as "Good." The improvement from Cycle I to Cycle II was 20%, with the achievement indicator reaching ≥ 80%. As for students' learning outcomes, the mastery level in Cycle I was 18.18%, and in Cycle II it reached 100%, showing an increase of 81.82% from Cycle I to Cycle II. The achievement indicator reached ≥ 80%. Lastly, the teacher's competence was observed to be in the "Good" category.

Peningkatan Hasil Belajar PAK dan BP Melalui Pembelajaran Berbasis PBL Kelas 7 Fase D di SMP N 2 Tebing Tinggi

The low learning outcomes of students at SMP N 2 Tebing Tinggi in the subject of Catholic Religious Education and Character Building were caused by the monotonous teaching method, it’s the lecture method, which is lack variation. To solve this issue, the researcher applied the Project-Based Learning (PBL) method to improve student learning outcomes. The research question was whether the implementation of PBL can improve learning outcomes in Catholic Religious Education and Character Building. This study used the Classroom Action Research (CAR) method, conducted in two cycles. Each cycle consist of four stages: planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The topic used in this research is "I Am a Unique Image of God." The instruments used included learning outcome tests (pre-test and post-test) and observation sheets to monitor the students’ engagement during the learning process. The result shows a significant improvement in students' learning outcomes from the pre-test to the post-test after the implementation of PBL. In addition to enhancing students' understanding of the "Image of God" concept, PBL method also successfully to motivate students to actively participate in learning, particularly through projects that relevant to daily life.

Challenges and Results at SDI Plus Imam Muslim in Character Building through Islamic Religious Education

General Background: Character education is essential for fostering responsible decision-making and harmonious living among students in society. Specific Background: In Indonesia, the role of Islamic religious education (IRE) is critical in shaping the ethical and moral foundation of the nation’s youth, yet its implementation across various educational contexts remains inconsistent. Knowledge Gap: Despite the recognized importance of IRE, limited research addresses its impact on character development within specific educational institutions. Aims: This study investigates the character formation facilitated by Islamic religious education at SDI Plus Imam Muslim, examining both the positive outcomes and the challenges faced in this process. Results: Utilizing a qualitative approach, data collected through observations, interviews, and document analysis reveal that the IRE program at SDI Plus Imam Muslim has effectively integrated Islamic values into students' daily lives, leading to improved character traits such as respect and discipline. Novelty: This research highlights specific practices within IRE, such as communal prayer and daily rituals, that significantly contribute to character development. Implications: The findings underscore the need for ongoing evaluation and enhancement of IRE programs to overcome existing challenges and optimize character formation, suggesting that religious-based interventions can serve as effective tools for fostering moral and ethical behavior in students. This research aims to explore the concept of learners, the values and principles underlying the concept of learners and the role of learners in the educational process in the thought of Abdul Wahid Hasyim. This research is a library research using a descriptive qualitative approach with documentation data collection techniques and data analysis using Milles and Huberman analysis techniques. The concept of learners thought Abdul Wahid Hasyim: 1) Individuals have unique potential and should be developed holistically including intellectual, moral, spiritual, and social aspects. 2) The importance of education as a means to prepare students to become responsible individuals and contribute positively to society. 3) Teaching Islamic values as a moral and spiritual foundation for education as an integral part of the learning process. 4) The importance of equality in education, regardless of social or economic background, has the same right to gain access and benefit from education. Inovasi Kurikulum dalam Pembentukan Karakter Peserta Didik Melalui Pengembangan Kurikulum Muatan Lokal Aswaja

This research aims to explain innovative approaches in character building of students through the development of the local content curriculum of Aswaja (Ahlussunnah wal Jama'ah) at SMK Al-Falah Nagreg. The local content of Aswaja is an essential component in Islamic education that aims to integrate Islamic values and teachings of Ahlussunnah wal Jama'ah into the school curriculum. This study focuses on how the development of the Aswaja local content curriculum can be an effective tool in shaping students' character. The research method used is qualitative analytical research with a descriptive qualitative approach. The results show that innovation in developing the Aswaja local content curriculum can significantly contribute to shaping students' character. Some important findings include: the integration of Islamic values, the development of spirituality, the formation of Islamic identity, the strengthening of tolerance and harmony, and community participation. This curriculum also encourages students' participation in social and community activities oriented towards Aswaja values. This research illustrates the importance of innovation in developing the Aswaja local content curriculum as an effective means in shaping students' character. These results have positive implications for improving the quality of Islamic education and forming a generation with noble character and responsibility in society.

Family Counseling on Parenting in The Prevention of Adolescent Bullying Behavior: A Literature Review

Background: Bullying is aggressive behavior that often occurs among teenagers. Bullying has negative consequences such as threatened well-being and mental health that puts its victims at risk of committing suicide. A total of 37,381 child abuse cases occurred during 2011-2018 in Indonesia. Family dynamics and relationships reflected through parental parenting have not shown significant changes in the character building of the younger generation. Purpose: The purpose of this study is to describe family counseling about parenting in the prevention of adolescent bullying behavior. Methods: There are 11 articles sorted from 5 electronic journal databases: ScienceDirect, PubMed, Springerlink, ProQuest, and Google Scholar. The following combination of search terms is "Family Counseling", "Parenting", "Bullying behavior", and "Adolescent". The inclusion criteria of the article are the study population: adolescents aged 11-19 years; the article published from January 2017 to April 2022, discusses family involvement in settlement of traditional adolescent bullying through family counseling. Results: The results showed that the family is the primary source of support for every problem in the family. The family plays a crucial role in forming the child's behavior. Aggressive behavior arises from parenting that does not prioritize the child's rights. Family counseling on parenting in preventing adolescent bullying behavior is a process of active interaction between counselors, parents, and children with efforts to improve parent-child communication in achieving nonaggressive parenting that supports adolescent growth and development. Conclusions: This study can provide an overview of counseling interventions with families and adolescents regarding preventing bullying behavior using communication improvement strategies and parenting modifications.

The Use of Picture Story Method in Character Building for Reading in 5-6 Years Old Children at PAUD Setia Pontianak

This research aims to describe the use of the illustrated story method in forming characters who love reading in children aged 5-6 years at PAUD Setia Pontianak. The research method used is a descriptive method in the form of qualitative research. The subjects in the research were teachers and early childhood children on Jalan Parit Pangeran Gang Keto, Siantan Hulu, North Pontianak District, Pontianak City. The data collection techniques used in this research were participant observation, interviews and documentation. The results of the research show that: 1. Preparation for using the picture story method in forming characters who like to read in children aged 5-6 years at PAUD Setia Pontianak. Preparation is carried out by preparing the RPPH first and then determining the theme of the picture story book. 2. Implementation of the use of the picture story method in forming characters who like to read in children aged 5-6 years at PAUD Setia Pontianak, the teacher tells stories in front of the class while carrying a picture story book. 3. Evaluation of the use of the picture story method in forming the character of reading in children aged 5-6 years at PAUD Setia Pontianak to determine the level of achievement of children's development in the form of notes used to measure the level of children's success, namely written reports, checklists and portfolios in the form of notes regarding children's behavior when listening to stories written factually and truthfully. The researcher suggests that teachers preparing story books should be prepared more carefully and the selection should be more precise. The implementation of using the picture story book method should not be like lecturing. The atmosphere when telling stories can be brought into the story so that it is more enjoyable. Evaluations should be more varied to make it easier for teachers to assess. child. The implications of using the picture story method using books in forming characters who like to read in 5-6 year olds at PAUD Setia Pontianak. Teachers can apply the picture story method using books which is more exciting so that children will be happier when they hear the stories being told.
