Editor's Comment Studies in American Fiction is now seeking manuscript submissions for a special issue on "New Approaches to American Fiction" to be published as the Autumn 1981 number. This issue will consist of five solicited papers and five chosen from the open competition. Essays should be largely theoretical in nature, 15-25 pp., and should follow the norms established by the MLA Style Sheet.
