The article is devoted to the variants of stamped ornament on Classical period Attic black-glazed pottery from Olbiа. Despite the small amount of analyzed material, the important conclusions concerning the spread of this type of pottery in the region in the Classical period can be made based on the analogies from Athens and the north coast of the Black Sea. The main types of stamps on open shape black-glazed pottery, namely, cups, skyphoi, kantharoi, and bowls are analyzed. The earliest stamps with various versions of ornamental eggs appear in the last quarter of the 5th century BC. Palmettes almost always combined with other elements remain most popular during the whole period. More rare stamps are lotus, ivy leaves, and olive branches which are common from the end of the 5th to the beginning of the 4th centuries BC. All the mentioned types of stamps were found among Olbian materials, but it should be noted that we found much more variants of stamps than in classic typologies, that once again proves the uniqueness of Olbian collection and the necessity in its study.
