It is a great privilege for us to present the proceedings of ICET 2019 to the authors and delegates of the event. The 4th International Conference on Engineering Technology 2019 (ICET 2019) took place at Darul Iman Training Center (DITC), Teluk Kalong, Kemaman, Terengganu, Malaysia on 6th - 7th July 2019. We hope that you will find it useful, exciting and inspiring.Skills and knowledge are vital components for economic growth and social development in responding more effectively and prompter towards challenges and opportunities of globalisation. The primary objective of this conference is to provide a platform for researchers, engineers, academicians and practitioners from all over the world to share their latest research findings, ideas, development and applications of engineering technology as well as to establish potential networking amongst the delegates and technical experts.The responses to the call-for-papers had been overwhelming – both from within Malaysia and overseas. Unfortunately, many manuscripts from prestigious institutions could not be accepted due to review outcomes and our constraints. TAFSIR AHL-DZAUQ WA AL-IRFAN LATAIF AL-ISYARAH AL-IMAM AL-QUSYAYRI AL-NAISABURI (376 H/986 M - 465H/1075M)

Al-Qur'an interpretation of Sufi nuances is developing rapidly, especially after the prominent figure of the theoretical Sufi interpretation (nazhari) Muhiddin Ibn Arabi (w.638 H), one of which is a practical Sufi interpretation (amali or faudhi) by Abu al-Qasim Abd Karim bin Hauzan bin Abd Malik al-Qusyayri al-Nesyapuri. One of the figures in the renewal of classical Sufi interpretation that offers a new method of interpretation is the bayani isyari mujaz method which emphasizes the aspects of the Qur'anic cues from the implied meaning (inner) with the approach of language (literature) to the text as a discussion of the miracle of literary language in the Koran. Al-Qusyayri's attention is not merely a gesture or vocabulary of the Qur'an. he has an open view of how to combine the science of Shari'a and the nature of interpreting the Holy Qur'an.

The 6th International Conference on Mechatronics and Mechanical Engineering (ICMME2019) was held at China University of Geosciences (Wuhan), China during November 9th-11th, 2019. The ICMME2019 (Wuhan) was co-sponsored by China University of Geosciences (Wuhan), China, Hefei University of Technology, China and Tianjin University, China.The purpose of this meeting was to provide an international forum for recent developments in selected fields of research in mechatronics and mechanical engineering by bringing together researchers, practitioners and research scholars from all over the world to exchange and share their experiences and research results.After several rounds of the review procedure, the program committee accepted papers for the publication in IOP Conference Series. We wish to express our sincere appreciation to all the individuals who have contributed to ICMME2019 (Wuhan). Special thanks are extended to the invited keynote and plenary speakers as well as all the authors for contributing their latest research to the conference.This conference program was highlighted by four keynote and plenary speakers: Prof. DennisK. The Elegy of Abi AL-Abbas Ahmad Bin Abd AL-Salaam AL-Jarrawi AL-Maliqi (906H) to AL-Hussein Bin Ali (They may Allah be pleased and have Mercy upon them) An Analytical Study

The present paper attempts to study and analyze this poem. The poem is one of AL-Jarrawi,s long poems; it contains (62) lines. Apart from other preceding poets, the poet halved the lines of the poem, and made them pentomic. In this sense, he deviated from the well-known standards of such an art at that time; it was known for the poets to use three halves of their own and two halves as pentomic conclusion usually quoted from other poets. In his deviant attempt, the poet used four halves of his own and a pentomic half taken from the Omru, AL-Qais. AL-Jarrawi organized his poem in accordance with the structure of the Arabic-western dictionary that is identical with the eastern one except the letter (ز) (z) and the following letters, where the two dictionaries become different in order.As for the content, the poem focuses basically on the elegy to Al-Hussein (He may Allah be pleased and have Mercy upon him); and hence, the personality of Al-Hussein is the focus of the poem from which the poet proceeds.

2018 4th International Conference on Mechanical Engineering and Automation Science (ICMEAS 2018)

PREFACEICMEAS 2018 was held in Beijing, China during 12-14 October, 2018, which is organized by Engineering Science and Hong Kong Society of Mechanical Engineers (HKSME), supported by Capitol Technology University. The conference provides a useful and wide platform both for displaying the latest research and for exchanging of research results and thoughts in broad Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Science and Engineering, Automation Science and other topics. The participants of the conference were from almost every part of the world, with background of either academia or industry, even well-known enterprise. The success and prosperity of the conference is reflected by high level of the papers received.The proceeding is a compilation of the accepted papers which represents an interesting outcome of the conference. TEORI MAQASHID SYARI'AH PERSPEKTIF IBNU ASHUR

<p><em>Ibnu Ashur is a contemporary figure of maqasid syariah which born in Tunisia. He was complement and continues of maqasid concept which previously created by imam al Shatibi, al Ghazali, Izzudin bin Abd. Salam, Ibnu Taymiyah, Ibnu Qayyim al Jauziyah, and another. By Ibnu Ashur, maqasid syariah easily practice in contemporary problems so that Islamic law still suitable with period or be up to date or in Arabic we can call salihun li kulli zaman wa al makan. There are few reform used by Ibnu Ashur in maqasid syariah for instance all discipline law are good characteristic is muamalah (transaction) or ibadah (religious service), all has illat (reason). For implementation maqasid theory by three steps: maqam khitab al syar’iy (situation dan condition of khitab syar’iy), al tamyiz baina al wasilah wa al maqshud (differentiate between infrastructure and purpose), istiqra’ (induction). Maqasid syariah theory by Ibnu Ashur however, globallly based on maqashid al ammah and maqashid al khasah. However, foundation thought for decide maqasid using by fitrah, maslahah, and ta’lil. For knowing something that has benefit or not, he was classified it by three categories benefit for community, benefit for group or person, and realize necessary.</em></p>

Letter to the Editor: Obesity Does Not Imply Poor Outcomes in Asians after Total Knee Arthroplasty

To the Editor, We read the article, “Obesity Does Not Imply Poor Outcomes in Asians after Total Knee Arthroplasty” by Bin Abd Razak et al. [1] with great interest. We believe the results of this study will add to the orthopaedic literature on TKA. However, when we looked at the tables in detail, we detected some conflicts or printing errors which we believe need correction and/or explanation. In Tables 2 [1] and 3 [1], the preoperative and postoperative ROM values are given for each group. The preoperative and postoperative ROM values at 2-year followup for normal, overweight, obese, and severely obese patient groups are 119°–118°, 119°–119°, 116°–116° and 100°–110°, respectively. In Table 4 [1], mean ROM changes at 2-year are given as −2°, −1°, −1°, +10° for normal, overweight, obese, and severely obese patient groups. However, calculations relative to Tables 2 and 3 yield −1°, 0°, 0° and +10°. Additionally, in Table 5 [1], the preoperative and postoperative values at 2-year followup for severely obese patient groups in the “Current Study” are 100°–100°, respectively. This would indicate no change of ROM for severely obese patients.

An Analysis of Abu Mus'ab al-Suri's "Call to Global Islamic Resistance"

This article is a contribution to the study of religious radicalization, in particular, religious radicalization that promotes violence. The term “radicalization” will be used here to refer to the process through which individuals adopt or promote an “extremist belief system for the purpose of facilitating ideologically-based violence to advance political, religious, or social change.”[1] This study applies discourse analysis[2] to a prominent radical Islamic text published after the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001 (9/11): Mustafa bin Abd al-Qadir Setmariam Nasar’s Call to Global Islamic Resistance (2004) – hereafter referred to as GIR (Global Islamic Resistance). As will be detailed in the sections to come, this study analyses the beliefs and worldview evident in GIR, and seeks to elucidate its persuasiveness. ʿAbd al-Qādir al-Jazāʾirī, Migration, and the Rule of Law: ‘A Reply to Certain Persons of Distinction’

This article will deal with a text authored by Abd al-Qādir alJazā’irī during the later years of his rule in what is now Western Algeria.1 Ostensibly a justification for some of his major policies through recourse to Mālikite (and to a lesser extent Shāfiī) juridical traditions, this text is a suggestive of understanding Abd al-Qādir’s religious politics. As well as presenting legal precedents, it illustrates several of Abd al-Qādir’s views on the primacy of divine law, its relationship with Sufism, and its place in the history of IslamoChristian contact and conflict in the Western Mediterranean. It is hoped that this article will contribute to the general understanding of Abd al-Qādir by elucidating his moral and ideological perspectives from a textual basis. This article will also inform the question, implicit in many historical discussions, of whether Abd al-Qādir’s rule in Algeria an instance of rule of law or rule by law. A Comparative Study of the English Language Performance of Islamic Studies and Education Students in KIRKHS and INSTED

ABSTRACT : The research is a comparative study of the English language performance among Islamic studies or Education students in the Kulliyyah of Islamic Revealed Knowledge and Human Science (KIRKHS) and the Institute of Education (INSTED). The main aim of the research is to observe how the undergraduate students perform in the English language and to examine the standard of English language performance for both kulliyahs. The respondents of this study were taken from the Kulliyyah of IRKHS and the INSTED, both at the IIUM (International Islamic University of Malaysia). According to the figures obtained from the Centre for Languages and Pre-university Academic Development (CELPAD) of the IIUM, it was revealed that many of Islamic studies students were dubbed poor performers in English language. Evidently, the average scores for English language courses were C plus and C as shown by the statistics from CELPAD. The result of study shows that the majority of the respondents considered themselves as competent in terms of English language as compared to other languages, and they indicated that their English competence was mostly sufficient for their academic activities. And finally, the respondents indicated that they would like to improve their English language competence.
