ANALISIS PENINGKATAN PENGGUNAAN SEPEDA MOTOR DI KOTA DENPASAR

Currently, the motorcycle population in big cities in Indonesia is increasing very rapidly. Motorcycles are the most popular mode of transportation in Denpasar City. The increase in the use of motorcycles (SPM) has an impact on congestion, air pollution and high traffic accidents involving SPM. This study aims to analyze the increase in the use of SPM in Denpasar City, involving the variables of Household Characteristics, Costs, and Advantages of SPM. Primary data collection was carried out by distributing questionnaires, as many as 400 copies distributed throughout the sub-districts in Denpasar City. The questionnaire contains a Likert scale, containing statements, where respondents provide their perceptions through the available answer choices. Analysis of public perception data was analyzed using multiple linear regression statistical methods. Based on the results of the analysis, the variables of Household Characteristics, Costs, and Advantages of SPM have a significant positive effect on the Increase in the use of SPM, each with tcount = 6.110; 6.847; and 7.865> ttable = 1.966; and all sig values. 0.000 < 0.05. The influence of the three variables together is Fcount = 209.162 > Ftable = 0.072. Sig. value = 0.000 < 005. The equation model obtained is: Y = 0.296X1 + 0.294X2 + 0.290X3 + e.

Modification of activated carbon through chemical-physical activation method with KOH and 60Co gamma irradiation from banana leaf waste

Abstract Until now waste is still a problem in many big cities in Indonesia. In addition, the amount of waste increases as the population increases. Banana leaf waste is no exception, which is included in other types of waste, which accounts for 6.33% of the total waste in Indonesia in 2022. Utilization of banana leaf waste as a raw material for activated carbon production can also be an alternative to reducing the amount of wasted banana leaf waste because they contain various kinds of organic compounds. Activated carbon is widely used as an adsorbent in various sectors, especially in the industrial sector. Production of activated carbon must go through an activation process to enlarge the surface pores either chemically or physically, or even both. This study aims to compare the results of activated carbon surface area and functional groups using the chemical-physical activation method from banana leaf biomass raw materials with KOH and gamma irradiation at various doses. The research method used is an experimental method consisting of 4 stages: dehydration, carbonization, activation, and characterization. The research was started by dehydrating the leaves and continued with the carbonization stage at 350°C for 30 minutes. Carbon was divided into four samples that consisted of 1 blank and 3 test materials that activated with 30% (w/v) KOH solution for 24 hours and gamma-irradiated with a dose of 10, 30, and 50 kGy. Results were characterized using FTIR and BET. The effect of gamma 60Co irradiation on the activated carbon material from banana leaf waste can increase the peak transmittance value of the activated carbon functional group due to the formation and reaction of free radicals on its surface. Increase in the surface area (from 6.504 to 24.04 m2/g) is also associated with an increase in the absorbed dose due to the formation of more free radicals. However, the surface area obtained is not as expected due to the possibility of pore blockage and excessive activation time, which causes the surface area of the material to be small.

Integration indigenous science in merdeka curriculum to strengthen scientific literacy and environmental care in elementary schools: Need analysis

This research aims to analyze the needs of integration indigenous science approach in the Merdeka Curriculum to strengthen scientific literacy and environmental care in elementary schools for elementary school students. This research uses a qualitative approach with a case study design. The subjects of this study were 160 elementary school teachers in one of the big cities in Indonesia. Research data collection techniques consist of interviews and questionnaires. The research data analysis technique used an interactive model consisting of data condensation, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of this research show that the teachers propose the reconstruction of indigenous science into scientific science and its integration in learning based on the national curriculum. Analysis of the needs for multimodal reconstruction of indigenous science in science learning in elementary schools shows a very important category. Multimodal indigenous science is proposed from Javanese culture which is specified with the needs of the elementary school sciences scope with the integration of indigenous science carried out in the content, process and product aspects. The results of the initial study recommend that teachers and future researchers can develop learning tools with a multimodal indigenous science approach in the Merdeka Curriculum to strengthen scientific literacy and care for the environment in elementary schools.

Review of Slum Management Policies in Urban Areas

Urban slum areas in Indonesia began to feel very disruptive to city mechanisms and dynamics in the late 70s, so the government launched Village Improvement programs such as the Moh Slum Improvement Program. Husni Thamrin in Jakarta, Dewi Sartika Village Improvement Program in Bandung, and other village improvements carried out in big cities in Indonesia. While these programs have not been able to solve existing problems, city dynamics are running so fast, especially after reform. The development of cities with very high population pressure is beyond the government's ability to control them. On the other hand, the need for employment and business is very large due to the financial crisis and the phenomenon of job cuts (PHK), because many companies are going bankrupt. This problem must be borne by the city ecosystem which has many limitations. People in every city, because they are pressured by the necessities of life, can do business in urban areas wherever they think there is a chance to live. In this situation, the growth of slum areas in urban areas not only occurs in residential areas, but also occurs in business areas and along road routes which are still possible to use as places of business and residence. Of course, this cannot be tolerated, and the government needs to respond through appropriate policies now and in the future, considering that slum areas are now evenly distributed to all cities in Indonesia and not only in big cities.

Dampak Pembangunan Gender terhadap Kemiskinan di Kota-Kota Besar di Indonesia Tahun 2017-2022

This research aims to analyze the influence of women's participation in parliament, the women's gender development index, women's per capita income and women's life expectancy on women's poverty levels in big cities in Indonesia for the 2017-2022 period. This research is quantitative research using the panel data regression method with the best model, namely the Fixed Effect Model (FEM). The results of the simultaneous significant test show that in 2017-2022 the variables Women's Participation, Women's Gender Development Index, Women's Per Capita Income and Women's Life Expectancy have a simultaneous effect on Women's Poverty Levels in big cities in Indonesia in 2017-2022. The results of the partial significance test show that the variable Women's Life Expectancy has a negative and significant effect on women's poverty in 2017-2022. Meanwhile, the variables Women's Participation, Women's Gender Development Index, and Women's Per Capita Income do not have a significant effect on women's poverty in 2017-2022.

Penggunaan Pseudosa japonica (Bambu Jepang) sebagai Sound Barrier Alami di Markas Militer Komando Pasukan Khusus

The development of the times will always be accompanied by an increase in population, so infrastructure and a comfortable place to live are needed. However, currently many residential areas are close to public facilities such as stations, highways, airports, and so on. This condition causes noise intensity. Noise intensity can cause health, psychological, communication and productivity problems. Noise is a source of anxiety or pollution, especially in big cities in Indonesia. So, efforts are needed to deal with this. One solution is a natural barrier using Japanese bamboo plants (Pseudosa japonica). Noise measurements are carried out based on the Decree of the Minister of the Environment Number 48 of 1996, namely in a simple way. This research aims to determine the effect of using noise dampening using Japanese bamboo plants and the factors that influence it From the measurements and tests that have been carried out, it is concluded that this barrier can have a significant influence on noise reduction. Noise has little effect on temperature and altitude. The reason is the position of the building is still higher than the position of the bamboo plants which serve as barriers. The highest Ls values ​​are found on Mondays and Saturdays because these 2 days are the start of community activities and the start of holidays. Based on these results, it is necessary to improve the source and arrangement of Japanese bamboo plants according to technical instructions.

Development of solid recovery fuel for power generation with bacterial bio-drying of municipal solid waste in Lombok Island West Nusa Tenggara

Abstract The growth of waste in big cities in Indonesia increases sharply every year. The Government’s ability to manage solid waste only reaches 40.09% in urban areas and 1.02% in rural areas, so the right policies are needed so that Municipal Solid Waste (MSW) does not save potential problems that will impact the future. The waste problem is no longer just a matter of cleanliness and the environment but has become a social problem that has the potential to cause conflict. The most likely solution to solving the MSW problem is to use it as a source of alternative fuel, which can be done by a mechanical-biological treatment technology into Solid Recovery Fuel (SRF). The proposed SRF processing method is straightforward and requires a little technology; thus, it could be developed at the community level. The MSW is collected and processed by communities and then sold to power plants or factories or used in communities to replace solid fuels such as wood or charcoal. Compared with the standard RDF and SRF specifications, MSW SRF falls under medium-grade Refuse Derived Fuel (RDF) or SRF specifications. Further comparison with coal, water hyacinth SRF, and sorghum shows that MSW SRF has several advantages, such as low fixed carbon, sulfur, and moisture, that could be beneficial for combustion performance, which concludes that MSW has potential and meet the specification as an alternative fuel for thermal power plant or other industry that utilizes thermal energy. This paper proposes a processing methodology for municipal solid waste into alternative energy. The method could guide local people in using biomass resources to improve local economic prosperity.

ANALYSIS OF THE INFLUENCE OF ORDER VARIATION FACTORS ON THE COSTS AND TIME OF IMPLEMENTING CHANNEL DIVERCTION INFRASTRUCTURE CONSTRUCTION PROJECTS IN RESIDENTIAL AREAS

Tangerang is a big city in Indonesia. The housing sector rocketing in this region. Changes in development often occur because problems arise and have an impact on costs and time. Researchers focused on finding the cause of the work diverting residential channels being hampered. For this reason, changes were made to the sheetpile design and changes to the infrastructure mobilization method to meet the contract time. The research uses the SEM PLS method to determine the factors causing order variations. In addition, the data processing application was used to determine the effect of order variations on time and cost performance. The respondents were 60 owners and consultants. Based on the results of the cost performance analysis, additional work arising from order variations reached 10,516,305,346 IDR and reduced work due to order variations reached 6,628,461,533 IDR or around 12.96% of the initial contract price and the results of time performance analysis for time losses that occurred due to order variations on the project showed an additional time of 5 months or 125%.

Utilitarian Shopping Value and Hedonic Shopping Value Influencing Repurchase Intention Mediated by Satisfaction

This research aims to explain and analyze the factors that influence Repurchase Intention in e-commerce in 5 big cities in Indonesia. This research is also intended to explain the Satisfaction variable that can mediate Utilitarian Shopping Value and Hedonic Shopping Value on repurchase intention. The subjects of this research are Indonesian consumers who shop online for fashion products in 5 cities, which are the cities with main source of ecommerce visitors. In this research, the Likert Scale was used as a research instrument measurement scale to determine the opinions of consumers in 5 city in Indonesia regarding the following three factors: (1) hedonic shopping value is necessary for e commerce in order to encourage users to make a repeat purchase/repurchase intent; (2) Utillitarian shopping value has a positive and significant effect on Repurchase intention; (3) Satisfactory shopping value perceived adventure journey in shopping, for example, to get value added in getting promos or discounts there can lead users to repeat purchases; and (4) Utilian shopping value can increase satisfaction; (5) satisfaction mediates the relationship between the two variables; (6) satisfaction is still able to have a significant influence on the motivation shopping value (Utiliarian and hedonitic) on epurchase intention, even though the nature of the satisfaction variable is partial mediation.

Manfaat E-Commerce terhadap Dunia Bisnis

Electronic Commerce (e-commerce) is the process of buying, selling or exchanging products, services and information via computer networks. e-commerce is part of e-business, where the scope of e-business is broader, not only commercial but also includes business partners, customer service, job vacancies. Apart from www network technology, e-commerce technology also requires a database, email or electronic mail (e-mail), and non-computer technology as well as other delivery systems, and payment tools for e-commerce. With electronic commerce (e-commerce), customers can access and place orders from various places. Considering the increasingly advanced era of technology, customers who want to access e-commerce do not have to be everywhere, this is because in big cities in Indonesia there are many places that provide internet access facilities just by using a laptop/notebook. . or with a Personal Digital Assistant (PDA) using wifi technology. Thus, currently it is very necessary and desirable for companies to implement e-commerce services. The use of e-commerce in Indonesia is still very limited. From the existing background, the author will discuss how e-commerce is utilized for business purposes.

Policy dialogue: Key factors for the success of transit-oriented development infrastructure 3.0 in big cities in Indonesia

This research aims to determine the factors driving the success of four large cities in Indonesia in implementing Transit-Oriented Development (TOD) infrastructure policies beyond the eight TOD 3.0 Principles. Only a few studies like this have been conducted. The research uses qualitative methods and is supported by in-depth interviews with stakeholders, community leaders, community groups, and service users. The research findings reveal six themes: policy dialogue, organizational structure and coordination, changes in community habits, resources, dissemination and communication, and transportation and connectivity services. The characteristics of the community in the study area that prioritize deliberation are important determinants in policy dialogue and are involved in determining policy formulation. The city government has established a comprehensive organizational and coordination structure for the village and sub-district levels. The Government controls infrastructure development activities, establishes a chain of command and coordination, and encourages people to change their private car usage habits. The city government combines all this with the principle of deliberation and conveys important information to the public. The research highlights the differences in TOD implementation in Indonesia compared to other countries. Specifically, the existence of policy dialogue and the direct involvement of community members influence the level of program policy formulation and are crucial in controlling urban infrastructure development.

Elements of Entrepreneur Competencies and Intention to be Entrepreneurs

This study aims to determine the effect of the elements of entrepreneurial competencies on entrepreneurial intention in two big cities in Indonesia, namely Jakarta and Balikpapan. The population in this study are business people, both entrepreneurs and those who work in creative industries in Jakarta and Balikpapan. The number of respondents in Jakarta and Balikpapan was 305 and 162. The sampling technique used was convenience sampling. Hypothesis testing shows that the elements of achievement, personal maturity, and orientation to others partially positively and significantly influence the entrepreneurial intention of respondents in Jakarta. Meanwhile, individual achievement, thinking, and problem-solving positively and significantly influence the entrepreneurial intention of respondents in Balikpapan.

Semarang, the capital of Central Java, is one of the big cities in Indonesia. However, the city still experiences significant education gaps. Moved by concern and enthusiasm for educating the nation, several physics education students at UIN Walisongo Semarang University together with the login house community carried out a joint learning program by introducing physics with children under the Semarang Cakrawal flyover bridge. This activity aims to improve children's knowledge and skills in physics subjects. This activity is not only about documenting a joint learning program but it is a moral movement to fight for the right to education for all children in Indonesia. This research was conducted in the urban area under the Cakrawala Flyover Bridge, Tawangsari, West Semarang. The method used in this service activity uses a classical approach. Children's enthusiasm and motivation for learning physics seems to be getting higher after being given motivation and fun learning methods from physics students.

Revealing the Link Between Open Minded, Uncertainty Readiness and Optimism in Business Performance for Food and Beverage Businesses

Abstract Business performance is an urgent topic to explore because there are many aspects that influence it. One thing that can guarantee business performance is open-minded entrepreneurship, uncertain readiness, and entrepreneurial optimism. In this context, businesses in the form of Food and Beverage (F&B) have become popular in the last few decades in Indonesia. From this research, it investigates the effects of open-minded entrepreneurs, uncertain readiness, and entrepreneurial optimism on business performance. Apart from that, it also dissects the relevance of open-minded entrepreneurship and uncertain readiness on business performance which is mediated by entrepreneurial optimism. The quantitative method was operated via an online survey involving cafe and restaurant owners (N = 128) spread across several big cities in Indonesia. Then, the data was analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling-Partial Least Square (SEM-PLS). As a result, of the five hypotheses developed, three were accepted. Open-minded entrepreneurship, uncertain readiness, and entrepreneurial optimism are proven to influence business performance. On the one hand, the other two hypotheses are rejected, where open-minded entrepreneurship or uncertain readiness have no impact on business performance through entrepreneurial optimism. By implication, the output of the research is interesting to highlight in the future. Optimism in too high a capacity can harm the business. This is triggered by the level of vigilance and actions of business owners in making decisions based on irrational emotions.

Psycho-social conditions of urban communities in the complexity of waste management: Are awareness and waste banks the main solution?

Waste management in urban areas is a critical issue in developing countries. As an environmental awareness emergency country, Indonesia faces significant waste production, particularly in its third-largest metropolis, Bandung. With the majority of its population utilizing cell phones or computers, the city has generated approximately 1500 tons of waste per day in 2022. Even though Bandung is one of the big cities in Indonesia, a staggering 54.7% of the total waste finds its way to landfills, exerting adverse impacts on the economic, social, and public health sectors. The government has pursued remedies through initiatives such as waste banks, collection services, and public education through social media. However, when delving into the intricacies of waste management, the psycho-social conditions of the community should be considered, which are often characterized by an ethos of tireless work, colloquially referred to as “crazy to work” or “hustle culture.” Consequently, waste, including its associated health risks, may be perceived as a marginal concern.This research assessed public environmental awareness and the willingness to contribute to diverse waste management endeavors financially. Such endeavors may be in household waste collection or the establishment of government-operated facilities, such as waste banks and waste collection services within the psycho-social conditions of urban communities. By employing a quantitative approach, the study surveyed 74 heads of urban households in Bandung using convenience sampling techniques and analyzed the data using SPSS tools to address the formulated hypotheses. Results demonstrate the effect of household waste management practices on the environmental awareness of urban communities. Nevertheless, the influence of waste management services, the perspectives of waste bank management, or concerns about infectious waste–related diseases on the environmental awareness of urban communities are generally not substantiated. However, the latter two aspects exert an influence on the community's inclination to support waste collection services financially. In sum, this study suggests that cultural and knowledge factors in Bandung may impede progress in the environmental sector. Therefore, recommendations encompass stringent environmental policies and laws, technological integration, and subsidies for waste reduction efforts in Indonesia's urban waste management practices.

Analysis of The Implementation of Garage Ownership or Control Policy for Motor Vehicle Owners: A Case Study in The DKI Jakarta Province

Traffic congestion is one of the problems faced by big cities in Indonesia, including DKI Jakarta Province. The increase in the number of motorized vehicles which is not balanced with the growth of roads and parking spaces causes traffic jams to get worse. The aim of this research is to examine the implementation of DKI Jakarta Provincial Regulation Number 5 of 2014 concerning Transportation regarding the obligation to own or control garages for motor vehicle owners. This research uses a qualitative approach with analytical descriptive research specifications. The data collection technique used is library research. The data that has been collected is then analyzed in three stages, namely data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. The research results show that the implementation of DKI Jakarta Regional Regulation No. 5 of 2014 Article 140 involves a series of steps to ensure motor vehicle owners comply with the obligation to own or control a garage, including carrying out patrols and inspections in various areas of Jakarta to ensure vehicle owners comply with these rules, as well as the application of sanctions such as fines or other legal actions which can be an instrument. which is used to encourage vehicle owners to comply with regulations. However, there are several obstacles in implementing this policy, such as the limited number of garages available, expensive garage rental costs, and minimal supervision from the authorities.

Hubungan Paparan Media Sosial Terhadap Hubungan Seksual Pra Nikah Pada Remaja Di Kota Bontang

Backround : The sexual behavior of the teenager in many big cities in Indonesia is quite worrying. The development of information media is feared will increase sexual behavior distorted among adolescents, in other hand the role of family and the environment to education about religion adherence is expected as a bulwark against the emergence of teenage sexual behavior deviation. Premarital sex is at risk of various disorders in the reproductive system and maternal health conditions that are prone to causing complications such as teenage pregnancy and stunting Objective : To analyze the relationship exposure of social media with sexual relations among adolescents in Bontang city. Method : 105 respondents were taken randomly from 1045 students of junior high school and senior high school in Bontang. Among them 13 were excluded. Hypothesis test is done by using SEM (Structural Equation Modeling) grouping with Partial Least Squares (PLS) approach by evaluating outer model (outer model evaluation). Result : The parameter coefficient of the relationship between information media variables with sex correlation 0.263 with the value of T-statistic 0.154> 1.64 at the level of significance ? = 0.1 (10%) which denote there is a significant influence between the conditions of exposure to information media with sexual relationship. Positive value means that the greater intensity of exposure to the social media information then the measure of sex relationship increases. Conclusion : There is a significant influence between exposure to media information on pre-marital sexual in Bontang adolecent .

Healthy Village Development Program (Ppds) Halfway House Health Reform Agent For Marginalized Groups In Jakarta

Street children are a social problem that has hit big cities in Indonesia, especially Jakarta. The government has not fully addressed the aspects of developing literacy education for street children, considering the low literacy culture in Indonesian society. Negative impacts arise due to the lack of children's literacy skills, especially among street youth groups who are vulnerable to drug abuse and bad behavior.
 This research aims to overcome this problem through an Operational Study with three stages: problem identification, shelter program development, and shelter intervention implementation. This program involves street teenagers in Jabodetabek who are still returning home, with statistical tests such as chi-square, logistic regression, and t-test. Interventions are carried out through education, counseling services, coaching, mentoring, home visits, skills training, and waste management.
 The analysis results show a significant increase in the average score of adaptive behavior for street teenagers and family resilience related to efforts to prevent drug abuse and other bad behavior after implementing the Healthy Village Development Program (PPDS) Shelter Home for Health Reform Agents for Marginalized Groups. The success of this program can become a model for the development of other shelters by providing additional skills to street children.

Analysis Of The Priority Handling Of Enveromental Drainage Construction Project At Dinas Pekerjaan Umum Dan Penataan Ruang Banjarbaru City

Flood is one of the main problems of big cities in Indonesia, including Banjarbaru City. This is often caused by the not supportive existing drainage capacity when compared to the increasing of crowded urban conditions and reduced green open space. Handling of drainage including rehabilitation is necessary so that drainage can function properly as expected. On the other hand the Banjarbaru City Government has a limited budget each year that can be disbursed for drainage handling. The purpose of this thesis is to analyze criteria and subcriteria that are important in determining the priority of drainage handling. The ANP (Analytic Network Process) method is analyzed using the criteria in the Minister of Public Works regulation number 12/PRT/M/2014 tentang Penyelenggaraan Sistem Drainase Perkotaan to determine priorities for handling environmental drainage with important criteria, namely aspects of inundation, economic loss, social disruption and government facilities, loss of disturbance. transportation, loss to residential areas, and loss of personal property rights. Based on these 6 criteria, priorities for handling environmental drainage in Banjarbaru City are determined. Furthermore, an analysis is carried out to evaluate the priority of the choices that occur. This study suggests to decision makers that ANP can be used to analyze drainage management priorities in Banjarbaru City. This research focuses on variables consisting of criteria or considerations which form the background for priorities in handling the environmental drainage system in Banjarbaru City. The primary data results obtained from the field survey were followed by analysis using the ANP method with data tabulation calculations and assisted by Super Decisions software to determine the priority scale for handling environmental drainage in Banjarbaru City. The treatment priority scale in the Super Decisions software, the data of which is based on field survey results and data tabulation calculations, found that there are several locations that have a large priority scale but treatment has not been carried out due to several factors that are not contained in Minister of Public Works Regulation 12/PRT/M/2014 concerning Implementation of Urban Drainage Systems.
