A useful orthonormal basis on bi-slant submanifolds of almost Hermitian manifolds

In this paper, we study bi-slant submanifolds of an almost Hermitian manifold for different cases. We introduce a new orthonormal basis on bi-slant submanifold, semi-slant submanifold and hemi-slant submanifold of an almost Hermitian manifold to compute Chen's main inequalities. We investigate these inequalities for semi-slant submanifolds, hemi-slant submanifolds and slant submanifolds of a generalized complex space form. We obtain some characterizations on such submanifolds of a complex space form.

Semi-slant and bi-slant submanifolds of almost contact metric 3-structure manifolds

In this paper we introduce the notions of semi-slant and bi-slant submanifolds of an almost contact 3-structure manifold. We give some examples and characterization theorems about these submanifolds. Moreover, the distributions of semi-slant submanifolds of 3-cosymplectic and 3-Sasakian manifolds are studied.

Slant submanifolds of a Riemannian product manifold

In this article, the geometry of the slant submanifolds of a Riemannian product manifold is studied. Some necessary and sufficient conditions on slant, bi-slant and semi-slant submanifolds are given. We research fundamental properties of the distributions which are involved in definitions of semi- and bi-slant submanifolds in a Riemannian product manifold.

SEMI{SLANT SUBMANIFOLDS OF A SASAKIAN MANIFOLD

We define and study both bi-slant and semi-slant submanifolds of an almost contact metric manifold and, in particular, of a Sasakian manifold. We prove a characterization theorem for semi-slant submanifolds and we obtain integrability conditions for the distributions which are involved in the definition of such submanifolds. We also study an interesting particular class of semi-slant submanifolds.
