An Analysis of the Development of Logistics in Guangxi Beibu Gulf Economic Zone

Although the logistics of Beibu gulf (Guangxi) is still in the primary stage such as the small-scaled logistics enterprises, low service level, weak logistics demand, sluggish infrastructure, and the chaotic logistics market, etc, it faces a series of development opportunities, its second-mover advantage is obvious and the growth potential is great. As long as we straighten out the management mechanism, overcome the bottleneck of the system, position accurately, analyze rationally, distribute reasonably, build logistics infrastructure according to the situation of the economic zone, pay great attention to the personnel training and learn from others’ experience, logistics can become a pillar industry in Beibu gulf economic zone.

Risk Identification of Sudden Water Pollution on Fuzzy Fault Tree in Beibu-Gulf Economic Zone

Sudden water pollution incident has the characteristics of instantaneity and uncertainty. Based on the characteristics, fuzzy fault tree analysis method was used to identify the potential risks of water pollution in Beibu-Gulf economic zone, and it also combined with the collected data and analysis results. The research results showed that the abnormal discharge of sewage was the main risk factor of the economic zone; the probability value of water pollution potential risk in this study area ranged from 4.6 percent to17.7 percent,which considered the random uncertainty and fuzzy uncertainty of the causes. This research could be considered as an instruction for future risk management, and it will play a great role in the healthy development of ecological environment.

Study on Low-Carbon Building Ecological City Construction in Harmonious Beibu Gulf Culture

Abstract Under the low-carbon time of globalization, Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region as the one of the many provinces in western China, it is necessary that to open Beibu Gulf for getting sustainable development in the new time and situation. Exactly the basic way for the development is the strategy of sustainable development that of construction Beibu Gulf economic zone consist of low-carbon, ecological and harmonious. With the development and construction of Beibu Gulf, a lot of towns are stepping into the progress of urbanization one by one. However, in the background for urbanization of ecological and low-carbon, study on low-carbon building and ecological city construction in harmonious Beibu Gulf culture that would be necessary and of great significance.

Estimate the Rationality of Spatial Structure of Beibu Gulf (Guangxi) Economic Zone and Analyze the Agglomeration Trend

On Aug. 10th, 2006, Beihai hosts the First City Cooperation Summit of Beibu Gulf(Guangxi) Economic Zone. It discusses and approves the “4+2” City Cooperation Framework Agreement of Beibu Gulf(Guangxi) Economic Zone. Along with the formation of Beibu Gulf(Guangxi) economic zone, its spatial structure will inevitably turn into an export-oriented spatial structure. The new characteristics of regional economic spatial structure rely in: forming a “pole-axis” spatial pattern showing initial city leveled system; the network system and the “pole-axis” system without perfect “driving axis”; with lots of spatial units. In future, the Beibu Gulf(Guangxi) economic zone will undoubtedly become a new important place of population and industrial spatial agglomeration.
