Introduction: Physiological and therapeutic changes promoted by combined therapy (CT) can act as a stressor for the body and generate changes in cardiovascular and autonomic behaviors. Objective: To analyze changes in body composition, cardiovascular variables, and heart rate variability (HRV) indices after applying CT in young women. Materials and Methods: Non-randomized clinical trial, 41 volunteers, using oral contraceptives, passive, and with a 4 cm supra-iliac skin fold. During 12 visits to the beauty center, initial and final assessments were carried out (anthropometric: body mass index, skin fold, percentage of body fat; cardiovascular: heart rate and blood pressure; and autonomic (HRV indices) and 10 CT sessions Results: After the 10 CT sessions, there were reductions in skin fold values and percentage of body fat (p<0.05). However, there were no differences in cardiovascular variables or HRV when comparing the moments before and after ten sessions. CT sessions (p>0.05). Conclusion: The combined therapy proved effective in reducing localized fat and safe in terms of changes in HRV indices without causing changes in blood pressure.
