DEVELOPMENT OF LEARNING VIDEO MEDIA ON BUILDING CONSTRUCTION BASIC LESSONS

This study examines learning media on Building Construction Basic subjects, Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) material on Building Works.. Learning media are essential in the learning process, and good learning media are very effective in the teaching and learning process. In this case, the researcher tries to develop a learning video media that students can use using gadgets or laptops and androids through the storage media of CDs, flash drives, or other data/file storage places. It aims to facilitate students in understanding the material and facilitate the teacher's teaching process. In making this learning video media using the 4D model (Define, Design, Develop, Disseminate). This research was conducted in the google classroom application, while the sample in this study was 20 students of class X Modeling and Building Information Design Expertise Program, SMK Negeri 2 Binjai. The feasibility test of the media experts' developed instructional video media assessment showed an average rating of 3.80 and was declared "Eligible". The material experts showed an average rating of 4.17 and was declared "Very Eligible", the tests conducted of 20 State Vocational High School 2 Binjai students showed an average of 4.30 was stated as "Very Eligible".Based on the feasibility test and testing results, it can be concluded that the instructional video media developed is excellent and feasible to be used as a learning media for K3LH material on building work.

Monitoria na disciplina de fundamentos de engenharia: importância da monitoria para alunos e monitores / Monitoring the subject of fundamentals of engineering: the importance of monitoring for students and monitors

Fundamentos de Engenharia é uma disciplina de formação básica do curso de Engenharia de Alimentos, visto que os conteúdos estudados na mesma servem como conceitos básicos para as demais disciplinas futuras presentes na grade curricular. Desta forma, o desempenho do aluno na disciplina é fundamental para que o próprio possa compreender, progredir e assimilar com menos dificuldade os próximos componentes curriculares. A finalidade do estudo é apresentar as principais atividades desenvolvidas na monitoria bem como o impacto destas no desempenho dos alunos que buscaram tal atividade complementar como forma de auxílio e suporte na compreensão da disciplina. O índice de retenção na disciplina é significativo e a presença de um aluno-monitor tem como objetivo a redução do mesmo, pois a interação aluno-aluno contribui para o melhor entendimento dos conteúdos. Para Schneider (2006), a monitoria é uma modalidade de ensino e aprendizagem que contribui de forma direta para a formação integrada do aluno nas atividades de ensino, pesquisa e extensão dos cursos de graduação. Foram disponibilizados 3 monitores, sendo 1 bolsista e 2 voluntários, em função do elevado número de alunos matriculados na disciplina e também devido ao elevado número de retenções. O foco dos encontros foi resolução de exercícios extras pré-selecionados pelo professor, com explicação do conteúdo já abordado durante as aulas regulares, e também as dúvidas trazidas pelos próprios discentes. O desempenho da grande maioria dos alunos que participaram ativamente dos encontros de monitoria foi diferenciado, fator este que contribui na elevação do índice de aprovação da referida disciplina. Desta forma, conclui-se que a monitoria realizou papel importante para os alunos, monitor e no auxílio ao professor da disciplina, permitindo uma experiência positiva a todos, tornando os alunos mais participativos, através desta conexão.

Ultrasonography in undergraduate medical education: a comprehensive review and the education program implemented at Jichi Medical University.

The concept of point-of-care ultrasound has been widely accepted owing to the development of portable ultrasound systems and growing body of evidence concerning its extensive utility. Thus, it is reasonable to suggest that training to use this modality be included in undergraduate medical education. Training in ultrasonography helps medical students learn basic subjects such as anatomy and physiology, improve their physical examination skills, and acquire diagnostic and procedural skills. Technological advances such as simulators, affordable handheld devices, and tele-ultrasound systems can facilitate undergraduate ultrasound education. Several reports have indicated that some medical schools have integrated ultrasound training into their undergraduate medical curricula. Jichi Medical University in Japan has been providing medical students with ultrasound education to fulfill part of its mission to provide medical care to rural areas. Vertical integration of ultrasound education into a curriculum seems reasonable to ensure skill retention and improvement. However, several issues have hampered the integration of ultrasound into medical education, including a lack of trained faculty, the need to recruit human models, requisition of ultrasound machines for training, and limited curricular space; proposed solutions include peer teaching, students as trained simulated patients, the development of more affordable handheld devices, and a flipped classroom approach with access to an e-learning platform, respectively. A curriculum should be developed through multidisciplinary and bottom-up student-initiated approaches. Formulating national and international consensuses concerning the milestones and curricula can promote the incorporation of ultrasound training into undergraduate medical education at the national level.

 Based on the observations of researchers in the field, students in the learning process centered only on teachers and students only memorized concepts. The results at this reflection stage would be the basis for making improvements in this study. This study used 2 classes, namely the experimental class and the control class. The research was conducted in 12 meetings in each class. At the first meeting, a preliminary test was given which aims to see to what extent the students' ability limits. The second meeting until the 11th meeting was given a learning process using the Snowball Throwing learning model in the experimental class and conventional learning models in the control class. In the end, at the 12th meeting, each class was given a posttest to see if there was an improvement from the first meeting.
 Based on the research hypothesis testing at SMK N 3 Tondano on basic automotive engineering subjects with jacking and blocking material, it can be seen that Snowball Throwing learning affects students' mastery of concepts.

An Interactive Learning Environment System on Basic Programming Subjects: Effects of Learning Outcomes and Question Level Patterns

This study reports on the effect of using interactive learning environment system by embedding problem-posing and problem-solving learning pattern as a flow of interaction. This interactive learning environment system is attempted as a solution to help understand and learn basic programming in Vocational High Schools. The effects that will be known are student learning outcomes and tracking of question-level patterns. The research method used was a quasi-experimental design with a nonequivalent control group design, involving 36 vocational high school students who were divided into an experimental group (N=18) and a control group (N=18). For data analysis, the technique of independent sample t-test and paired sample t-test was used. The results showed that student learning outcomes on each test there were significant differences after using interactive learning environment system and there was a good improvement in the experimental group compared to the control group. A total of 20 questions are provided for each test with a different pattern. Analysis of the level pattern of questions is done by distinguishing between the database answer key system and student answers. The tracking results showed that on the 1st test the level of accuracy occurred in 12 questions with the easy category and for the 2nd test the accuracy level occurred in 14 questions with the easy category.

Creation of necessary conditions for operating economy and her basic subjects - commodity producers and consumers are required by creations of adequate environment of business information. This environment must provide informative support of activity of subjects at all stages of production and consumption, such types of information necessary to the businessman are examined in that, as information about other producers, about potential consumers, about more advantageous suppliers of raw material, accessories and technologies, about prices. Such semantic loading is carried by an advertisement as open notification by the firm of potential customers, consumers of commodities and services about their quality, dignities, advantages, and also about the merits of firm. In the article a review and analysis feature serve advertisement appeal are done in the conditions of existent infrastructure and comparatively new type of activity - copywriting. As a result of systematization and analysis of information it is got to this direction, that a main feature of copywriting is an economy of time of producer and consumer for a decision-making about development or displacing of communications with one or another partners on economic activity, and also about modification of the already produced products or mastering of new for a survival in the conditions of strengthening competition. It is certain that the important task of forming and development of informative infrastructure is creation of favourable terms of access of businessman to business information through the environment of her appeal – infobusiness.

Construction of Three-dimensional College English Teaching Resource Bank in Application-oriented Universities

English is a basic subject in application-oriented universities. Although the implementation of new curriculum reform has improved the English teaching level in application-oriented universities, with the advent of the information age, the disadvantages of previous English teaching based on textbooks have become increasingly prominent. It can be said that the advent of the digital age has brought new challenges to English teaching in application-oriented universities. The construction of three-dimensional English resource database can deeply integrate curriculum teaching and information technology, and it plays an important role in promoting the optimization and reform of college English teaching mode. This paper discusses the construction of integrated college English teaching resource database in application-oriented universities, hoping to bring new ideas to related workers.

Effects of tutoring in teaching basic subjects to veterinary students

Students of veterinary medicine usually study in large groups. This factor favours anonymity and hiding behind classmates. The majority of classes are practical, but a lot of material should be self-studied, remembered and understood. Basic subjects, such as chemistry and biochemistry, are taught in the 1st and 2nd years, when students have not yet learnt how to study and how to meet the requirements, which are different from those in the secondary school. This may easily lead to failure in the exams and problems with the organisation of studying. Moreover, it is not easy to change the students’ preconception that chemistry is difficult and impossible to learn, and to convince them that these subjects are indispensable for veterinarians. The aim of the project was to raise the motivation of weak students and to increase their progress in studying. Twenty-six students who had shown no progress were selected. Classes were conducted in small 3- to 5-student groups. Various tools that were used in the project came from the previous courses of team members and from the Masters of Didactics training programme, e.g. flipped classroom and discussion in the group. All students involved in the project changed their methods of studying and successfully passed exams. Tutoring proved successful in teaching veterinary medicine because this kind of studies involves teaching students how to talk, conduct clinical reasoning and integrate knowledge from different disciplines. In conclusion, tutoring can be used as a supplementary method of teaching basic subjects to veterinary students.

Four reasons for actualizing the question of the essence of the individual are revealed. They clearly testify to a perverted view of the essence of the whole world, to the fact that man has not yet recognized his true, single, tri-hypostatic – spiritual-bio-social nature and has not unraveled the meaning of his main archetype – freedom-responsibility. Superficial-scientific, dialectically-invented anti-human postulates contributed to the mortification of living processes, when they were subjected to semi-conscious scientific castration, which changed consciousness and world perception in an anti-essential way, prevented the ascending understanding that it is the integral personality that is the basic free-responsible creative subject of all integral economic transformations in the life-affirming format of love and humanity. The war takes place and marks the fact that a person does not know and does not adhere to his spiritual hypostasis. Ideology as a tool for the formation of the corresponding superficial consciousness is always a social form of violence-denial of the true spiritual world, true spiritual values and motives of integral life. The formation of a scientific, unspiritual secular worldview – humanism inevitably gave rise to anti-humanity, and wars became a life-killing outcome of worldview anti-human cataclysms that kept accumulating. The clouding of human consciousness, when the idea of God turned into a discourse of inhumanity, and man began to glorify himself as an arbitrary creator and to feel almost omnipotent, to see himself as an absolute power-lover.When secular power began to blind everything divine and human, a devastating anti-human war was unleashed. It was the culmination of godless depopulation, a situation of realization of the extreme form of domination of racist society over the individual. Knowledge Sharing Motivation, Behavior, and Creativity of Knowledge Workers in Virtual Organizations

Focusing on the basic research subject of “seeking effective ways to enhance knowledge workers’ creativity,” this paper has surveyed a total of 208 employees from 11 Chinese high‐tech enterprises. Based on review and analysis of relevant literature, this paper has constructed a moderating effect model including mediating factors relying on the social cognitive theory and tested the model by hierarchical multiple regression. The results show that there is a significant positive correlation between knowledge sharing motivation and creativity of members in a virtual organization. Knowledge sharing behavior plays a partial mediating role between knowledge sharing motivation and creativity, and self‐efficacy moderates the complete mediating effect of knowledge sharing behavior on the relationship between knowledge sharing motivation and creativity. These conclusions enrich the theory of the relationship between knowledge sharing motivation and creativity, and enable enterprises to understand the importance of employees’ knowledge sharing motivation and the ways to stimulate employees’ creativity by activating their knowledge sharing behavior.

Laboratory reports as a learning tool – Early clinical exposure in 1st-year MBBS physiology (Hematology)

Background: Early clinical exposure (ECE) aims to bridge the gap between pre-clinical and clinical subjects. ECE exposes students to the health-care system at an early stage of professional life, follows patient-centered approach, and increases motivation for classroom learning. Most of the studies have reported a positive attitude of students toward ECE. However, very few studies have reported the difficulties that may be faced by the students during implementation of ECE. Aim and Objectives: The aim of this was to explore the attitude of students and difficulties faced if any during implementation of ECE in 1st MBBS Physiology (Hematology) with the help of laboratory reports and clinical scenarios. Materials and Methods: One hundred and ten students participated after completion of theory and practical classes of hematology. Clinical scenarios and laboratory forms were prepared based on actual laboratory reports of patients from pathology department. Group discussions and discussion with faculty was done. Attitude of the students was noted. Results: Most of the students found this method to be interesting and better than routine methods, helped in better understanding of theory and practical concepts, and helped in better preparation for examinations and better clinical correlations. However, about half of the students agreed or were not sure about the difficulty of ECE. Conclusion: The positive attitude of the students shows that ECE provides a successful integration of basic science and clinical subjects. It also helps in understanding the relevance of a basic science subject. Concepts of the subjects are made easier and interesting by ECE. However, the difficulties faced by the students should be kept in mind and more practice sessions may be done.

Study on Phase Transition and Gas Deviation Coefficient of Natural Gas with High Carbon Dioxide Content

It is the basic research subject that analyzes and calculate the law and numerical value of phase change and gas deviation coefficient of natural gas with high-CO2 content in the process of safe and effective development of gas reservoirs, which is obtained by high-pressure physical properties PVT (Pressure-Volume-Temperature) experiments and different calculation methods calculations. Aiming at natural gas with high-CO2 content in the Dongfang gas field, the phase change characteristics and physical parameters of different PVT samples are simulated and tested by Chandler 3000-GL analyzer and PVT SIM software. The experimental data shows that the phase state of natural gas with different content of CO2 has not changed in the study range. At the same time, the deviation coefficient calculated by different calculation methods (DPR, DAK, BB, HY, Gopal) are compared with the experimental data, and the applicable scope of different calculation methods are obtained. The results show that the improved Gopal has high accuracy and is suitable for the calculation of the deviation coefficient of natural gas with high-CO2 content under high temperature and high pressure in the Dongfang gas field.

Developing professional identity among undergraduate medical students in a competency-based curriculum: Educators' perspective.

Professional identity formation (PIF) refers to the possession and exhibition of the conduct of a medical professional. It's an external representation of a medical personnel's feelings, beliefs, experiences, and values that influence the provision of holistic patient care. Apart from training medical students to be competent and skilled physicians, one of the goals of today's medical education must be to encourage them to achieve professional identity formation. Many medical schools across the globe have made this explicit during the clinical years of study, but we believe that professional identity formation starts as early as day one of medical school. So, for educators, apart from delivering basic science subject content during early years of study, the creation of learning opportunities and pedagogic space in the curriculum to enhance competencies of PIF becomes mandatory. This competency-based educational approach will help medical students transform and reconsider their own values and beliefs by relating to the behaviors that are expected by the profession, colleagues, and patients when they graduate as medical doctors. In this paper, we discuss how a competency-based curriculum should provide opportunities for students to interact and communicate effectively with patients and colleagues, to self-reflect on their own personal identity before creating a professional identity that is unique to the profession, to make the right judgment and confidently practice medicine in a business-based healthcare system.

Problems of Development of Literature Teaching Methodology in General Academic School in the Context of Literary Centrism of Russian Culture

The paper considers some problems in developing techniques of ‘Literature’ teaching as a basic subject of study in the humanities for a modern Russian general academic school. The author’s view on literary centrism as a dominant idea of mental area of the Russia’s space, key constant and resource for axiological identification of Russians is given. The author argues that displacement of classic literature in school program for texts of modern writers entails risks of axiological conflict in school system. Task of elaboration of school course of literature with taking into account of harmonical combination of all vectors of Development of Literature Teaching Methodology is articulated. Description of innovative forms of work with school students for studying classic literature is outlined, the author makes assessment of pedagogical effectiveness of such forms.

The basic subject of Christian ecclesiology is eschatology. The central theme, the focus of the biblical text, is directed towards the anticipation of the future Kingdom of God. Bearing in mind the eschatological foundation and setting of Christian ontology, based on the theological opus of the Holy Father, we will speak, first of all, about the creation of the world, created with the aim of being the Kingdom of God. The course of eschatological ontology will direct research towards the question of overcoming death, which inevitably leads to the question of the identity of the Church, as a space of overcoming death and personal communion with the coming Emperor. The rootedness of the Eucharist, therefore, of the Church itself, in the eschatological reality will open the perspective that the Eucharist is an icon of the Kingdom of God, with a direct reference to the question of iconicity, explicitly placed in the relationship prototype - icon. A correct understanding of the Church's eschatological position, within the framework of iconic reality, will give rise to the question of the relationship between the creation of the world and the Kingdom of God, with a focus on the Holy Father's hermeneutic key, which is reflected in the phrase "cosmic Liturgy"

СУЩНОСТЬ ЦИФРОВОГО ИМИДЖА ОБРАЗОВАТЕЛЬНОЙ ОРГАНИЗАЦИИ

Interest in studying the development of the digital image of an educational organization as a psychological and pedagogical problem is growing in the context of the digital transformation of education in Russia. In its understanding, the image plays a very important role in attracting the attention of an audience focused on the consumption of services to a particular object. Education is also one of the most important human activities in which educational services are consumed at various levels. The attractiveness and need for a particular educational service depends directly on the positive image of an educational organization, including in the digital environment. In modern science and in practical image-making, there are a lot of works related to the issue of image, which allows us to explore the phenomenon of a digital image from the standpoint of its content and structure (species, functional, component, level characteristics. Also, as part of the study of the phenomenon of the digital image, the following definition of the content of the image should be singled out, which means that the image is holistic and consistent, the conditions for implementation are also taken into account here, and those individual features that are present do not contradict each other. The systemic nature of the image allows one visible feature to evoke accompanying characteristics in the mass consciousness. image is the positioning of an organization or a person, created using certain digital technologies, implemented on various media online or offline. At the same time, far from any image, text, etc. is a digital image, it is a whole set of techniques that are aimed at fulfilling a specific goal — to broadcast to others in digital form a certain message, a message. Understanding the effectiveness factors of the influence of the digital image on the behavior and consciousness of the target audience expands the understanding of the managerial resources of this phenomenon. The results of the study can be useful for drawing attention to the problem of using a digital image to manipulate the behavior and consciousness of the target audience, which will allow its members to become less controllable and programmable and help resist mass manipulations carried out by the basic subjects of image communication in the era of new media.

Arachnoid Cyst: A Solitary Intracranial Cyst in the Occipital Lobe of the Cerebrum in a Cadaver

Cyst is a closed sac, having distinct envelop; they may be filled with air, fluid, semi-solid material etc. Often cyst is a self-limiting and uneventful condition; they may get resolve with some time duration. If they fail to self-limit by themselves, depending on its size and location it needs timely surgical intervention. A cerebral cyst is a lesion with fluid filled sac in the brain. It may be benign, or malignant. This may be filled with blood, pus, Cerebrospinal Fluid (CSF), etc. Intracranial arachnoid cysts are congenital lesions of an arachnoid membrane which accounts for 1% of cases of intracranial space occupying lesions. Clinically, a brain cyst may remain silent, often it is an accidental finding on radiological investigations which are correlated in the patients with a history of vague neurological complaints. Often, headaches are a chronic complaint presented with underlying causative factors ranging from psychological stress to severe neurological deficits. The primary brain cyst that exists congenitally by birth will have no definite causality; a secondary brain cyst may exist with diversified aetiological factors including trauma. Elucidation of chronic symptoms dominated with migraine-like headache is very much essential; despite showing a good relief with a palliative treatment it will warrant clinicians to rule out cerebral cystic lesions. Such accidental findings during the dissections set as a natural cadaveric illustration, which build curiosity, and motivation among preclinical student learning from the point of integration of basic subjects. One such case of the cerebral cyst was found during the dissection in the Department of Anatomy, JSS Medical College, Mysuru, Karnataka, India. The present case is of a 70-year-old male cadaver diagnosed with the arachnoid cerebral cyst along with other varieties of cystic brain swellings.

Practices of Sexuality Education for Children in China’s Rural Schools: Types, Challenges and Strategies

When research focuses were mostly on urban schools, it is a great necessity of turning attention to sorting out the types and challenges of child sexuality education practices in China’s rural schools and putting forward corresponding strategies. It is found that there are generally three practice types which are type of attaching to physiological courses, type of task-driven sexuality education part-time provided by basic subjects teachers, and type of class delivery by exterior social organizations. They are all facing practical challenges of lack of teaching resources, one-sided teaching contents, and poor educational sustainability. To cope with these challenges, highlighting the subject position of children, strengthening the construction of child sexuality education resources, promoting the concept and practice mode of comprehensive sexuality education and ensuring the sustainability of sexuality education courses or activities are crucial practical strategies.

Implementasi Augmented Reality pada Mata Pelajaran Komputer dan Jaringan Dasar di SMK Nufa Citra Mandiri Berbasis Android

In the process of teaching and learning activities in schools, there are still many that only use learning media in the form of books. This causes boredom in the learning process. Especially in basic computer and network subjects, where in this subject there is a lot of visual recognition and developing forms of technology. Good visual presentation is very important to support the learning process. Augmented Reality (AR) is a learning medium that is currently still being used in the teaching and learning process. AR is an application that combines the real world with the virtual world in two-dimensional or three-dimensional forms which are projected in a real environment at the same time. AR technology is very appropriate to be implemented to support the visualization process in learning activities, because it can present visualization in 3-dimensional form. So that the visualization is more interactive and more interesting. In the learning process at SMK Nufa Citra Mandir, they still rely on books only, especially in computer and basic network subjects which really need visualization of the devices discussed. The application of AR technology to basic computer and network subjects at SMK Nufa Citra Mandiri is expected to help in the learning process. In its development, the design method used is the Extreme Programming (XP). Purpose of this research is to create software with AR technology on Android platform, so that students can better understand and get to know computer tools and computer network devices contained in basic computer and network subjects.
