Model Perkuatan Anyaman Bambu pada Subgrade Bungker Tangki Pendam

A submersion tank bunker is a storage place for fuel oil tanks at public fueling stations (gas stations). Its function is to localize oil splatters so as not to pollute the soil below if there is a leak in the oil tank. The construction of the submersion tank bunker at the Kelapa Gading gas station in North Jakarta, the basic soil condition is muddy due to low groundwater. This condition is improved by applying a covering layer of bamboo mattress. Bamboo mats are made from wormwood bamboo (Gigantochloa Apus) which is split 5 cm wide each sheet, and then woven to form a woven grid. The presence of groundwater at the bottom of the excavation, drained by pumping out (dewatering). After laying sand, the next step can be casting the bunker concrete floor slab. It is proven that woven bamboo in the form of bamboo mattresses is an alternative to basic soil improvement that can increase the carrying capacity of basic soil effectively.

Bamboo crafts are works of art that have many benefits, such as musical instruments and household utensils. One way to make bamboo crafts is by weaving. The largest craft industry in the city of Trenggalek is the bamboo weaving industry. There are many health problems and work accidents in bamboo weavers such as complaints of low back pain, CTS or work accidents such as cuts, stabs, etc. The purpose of this physiotherapy education is to increase the understanding and knowledge of bamboo weaving craftsmen in order to avoid or resolve problems with the health and safety of workers. This activity shows results, namely that bamboo weaving craftsmen can understand the material well after being evaluated with a pre-test and post-test.

MATERIAL LOKAL DAN RAMAH LINGKUNGAN: INOVASI DALAM PERANCANGAN INTERIOR DENGAN INSPIRASI BUDAYA OSING

Dependence on nature should encourage people to build systems that utilize nature as a life-support system. Increased awareness of environmental and sustainability issues emphasizes the importance of environmentally friendly industrial practices. The Osing community is known for its tourism and handicrafts, including abaca fiber and bamboo weaving. This research delves deeper into the cultural customs of the Osing tribe that can be identified, utilized, and developed in interior design so as to create an interior design with local cultural wealth and sustainable use of local materials as a design foundation. Using a descriptive qualitative method, it was found that the materials and handicrafts typical of the Osing tribe can be youthfully utilized to enrich interior design with diverse aesthetic elements, but also to produce functional products that reflect the cultural identity of the Osing tribe. This research is useful in showing how the use of local materials such as abaca fiber and bamboo by the Osing people in Banyuwangi Regency can create continuity between local tradition, sustainability and creativity. As such, the results of this research support the application of sustainable materials and the integration of local cultural elements in interior design, contributing to environmental preservation and local economic development.

Bamboo woven craft artisans in Kayubihi Village, especially Banjar Bangklet-Kayang, come from mothers, especially those who work as farmers. The problems faced by partners include: 1) Bookkeeping is still done conventionally so that it is less effective and efficient; 2) Distribution and marketing of products are carried out traditionally so that the scope of the product market share is still minimal; 3) the availability of facilities and infrastructure, raw materials, and auxiliary materials has reached the end of its economic life. The solutions offered to this problem are 1) Financial Transaction Recording Training and Provision of a Digitalized Financial Recording System; 2) Provision of a Website as a Form of Marketing Strategy and Online Marketing Strategy Training; 3) Provision of Production Supporting Facilities and Infrastructure.

Empowerment Of Bamboo Weaving Crafts Business In The “Aishwarya Asih” Business Group In Sulahan Village, Bangli Regency

Bangli Regency is rich in bamboo plants, namely plants belonging to the graminae family (grasses) and has a very flexible texture and is easy to create into various kinds of craft products. The business group that is a partner in the 2024 community service program is called the "Aishwarya Asih" Business Group, chaired by Ni Wayan Sukaini. The problems faced by partners are 1) product marketing which is still carried out conventionally, 2) other problems are in the process of recording product sales transactions, 3) problems in the production sector, namely related to the availability of facilities and infrastructure. The solutions provided are, 1) provision of a website and online marketing training and assistance, 2) training and assistance in recording digital financial transactions, 3) provision of supporting facilities and infrastructure for production.

Penggunaan Bambu Sebagai Struktur Rumah Tinggal Modern Ramah Gempa

Bamboo material can be applied to structural and decorative elements of modern and minimalist architecture. Use bamboo as structural element, among: 1) as reinforcement structural column, bamboo diameter of 12 cm inserted into the structural column inside iron reinforcement, then cast with concrete. This technique can reduce concrete volume up to 50% than conventional concrete columns, 2) as wall reinforcement, bamboo inserted between the iron reinforcement of the supporting wall, then cast with concrete mortar. This system in addition strengthening walls against the moment forces pressure, can also reduce the volume of concrete. This system can produce walls with a thickness of only 8 cm, much thinner when compared to conventional brick walls 15 cm thick, 3) as reinforcement of concrete slabs, woven bamboo is laid horizontally as a partial replacement for concrete reinforcement iron. This system aims to significantly reduce the amount of iron on the slab, which will reduce construction costs. Science and technology application activities for lecturers of the Department of Civil Engineering, Politeknik Negeri Padag regarding the use of bamboo as earthquake strength for modern residential structure have been carried out at Panti Asuhan Khusus Anak Mentawai, Jl.Purus 4 Padang, on Sunday, August 20, 2023. This activity provides knowledge and adds insight for orphanage children, will finish their education in high school, about alternative materials to replace wood and concrete that are cheaper. So later it is hoped that if they are entrepreneurial or involved in the construction world use of bamboo.

Persepsi Masyarakat Betawi terhadap Ondel-Ondel sebagai Atribut Pengamen Jalanan di Petukangan Utara Jakarta Selatan

One of the typical Betawi arts is Ondel-ondel. Ondel-ondel are large dolls in pairs, made from woven bamboo, wearing masks and palm fiber hair. This research uses intercultural adaptation theory to change the current view of Ondel-ondel which is used as an attribute of busking. This research uses descriptive qualitative analysis methods. Researchers conducted interviews consisting of five informants. The research was carried out purposively, with the aim of obtaining data that could be used in discussions. The conditions set for selecting speakers are the Betawi people who live in the North Petukangan area. The results of research entitled Betawi Community Perceptions of Ondel-ondel as an Attribute of Street Buskers in North Petukangan, South Jakarta. This research has found and extracted information from all data which includes data based on interviews with sources. Four of the five sources that researchers interviewed, of the four sources, had two perceptions, some were positive and negative. This research shows that through interviews consisting of 3 points in the research, the existence of Ondel-ondel buskers in the community, there are those who think positively that it is considered cultural preservation, but there are also those who think negatively that Ondel-ondel buskers 3on the street are also considered to damage the reputation of Betawi culture. and the presence of Ondel-ondel buskers on the street can disrupt street order.

Analysis of Legal Protection for Unregistered Bamboo Woven Craft Businesses from a Copyright Perspective

This research aims to analyze how legal protection is given to bamboo woven craft businesses whose copyrights have not been registered from a copyright perspective. The problem in this research is related to the existence of a violation of rights committed by other parties who carry out acts of imitation or duplication of woven bamboo crafts in terms of motifs, designs and shapes made by the original owner which are duplicated or imitated by irresponsible parties with the aim of traded without the permission or knowledge of the creator, causing losses to the original creator of the woven bamboo craft. The aim of carrying out this research is to analyze the condition of legal protection for the bamboo woven craft business that occurs in Indonesia. The legal research method used is normative legal research which is carried out by identifying and studying statutory regulations related to Copyright in the issue of providing legal protection in the bamboo woven craft business sector. The approach method used is the legal approach (statue approach) in analyzing existing problems, then the data collected and obtained are processed using qualitative methods. The results of the research are then explained descriptively to provide an overview related to the research results obtained, namely that copyright for works of art and crafts whose copyright ownership has not been registered can still receive legal protection, this is because the copyright of a work attaches automatically to a work created by the creator as long as it has met the requirements as an original work and has been expressed in a concrete form, in which case it has been expressed as a work of woven bamboo craft. However, to obtain stronger legal recognition, bamboo woven works that are developed into bamboo woven craft businesses need to register the copyrighted work.

The bamboo weaving training as a strategy for women's empowerment toward sustainability in rural revitalization: Practices, challenges and perspectives

The present study investigates the outcomes of bamboo weaving training programs in rural China from 2015 to 2022, employing ethnographic research methods to assess the impact of these programs on the well-being of rural women and their communities. The results indicate that the bamboo weaving training program has significantly improved the scientific literacy and technical skills of rural women, enhancing their self-confidence, income generation, and entrepreneurial endeavors. These improvements contributed to the preservation of intangible cultural heritage, the conservation of biodiversity and ecosystems, economic growth and rural revitalization toward sustainability. Additionally, several instances of constraints and challenges were observed from technical and economic perspectives. The study highlights the role of bamboo weaving training in poverty alleviation and sustainable development, promoting women's empowerment across technical, economic, psychological, and socio-cultural dimensions. Recommendations are provided for training institutions and organizations to enhance the well-being of rural women and foster sustainability in rural areas.

Peran Stakeholder Untuk Mengembangkan Desa Wisata Melalui Industri Kerajinan di Desa Loyok, Kecamatan Sikur

Tourism Villages are increasingly becoming the main focus in developing local tourism in Indonesia. One prominent example is Loyok Village, which is located in Sikur District. This village is known for its unique handicraft industry, such as bamboo weaving. This research examines the important role of stakeholders in supporting and developing the potential of tourist villages through the development of local craft industries. The type of research used in this research is qualitative research and the research approach is case study. The data collection techniques used by researchers are interviews, observation and documentation. In-depth interviews were conducted with various stakeholders, such as local entrepreneurs, village government and local communities involved in the management and development of tourist villages. The data analysis techniques used are data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The research results found that collaboration between various stakeholders is key in improving, marketing, skills training and promoting tourism in Loyok village. Thus, this research provides valuable insights for the development of other tourist villages in Indonesia, especially in the context of managing the craft industry to improve the welfare of local communities and expand tourism attractions. The cooperation and communication that exists between stakeholders is relatively good, thereby speeding up the implementation process of developing the Bamboo Woven Craft Industry.

Perkembangan Usaha Kerajinan Anyaman Bambu di Nagari Koto Baru Simalanggang Kecamatan Payakumbuh Tahun 1990-2022

This research examines the development of woven bamboo craft businesses in Nagari Koto Baru Simalanggang, Payakumbuh District, 1990-2022. The research aims to discover the development of woven bamboo craft businesses in Nagari Koto Baru Simalanggang and its impact on the socio-economic life of the local community. The method used in this research is a historical method with four stages of research methods, namely heuristics, source criticism, interpretation and historiography. Based on the research results, it can be seen that the bamboo woven craft business in the village of Koto Baru Simalanggang, Payakumbuh District has existed for a long time, but the year it appeared is not certain. Woven bamboo crafts have developed in shape and model. In 1990, the form of woven bamboo crafts was still very simple. In 1995, the woven bamboo craft business began to improve and develop significantly. Woven bamboo crafts were initially introduced by Mom Desweni. The woven bamboo craft business is a business that has been passed down from generation to generation through non-official education route. Bamboo woven craft business can be used as the main job for craftsmen to fulfill their daily needs. Bamboo woven craft business has a big influence on the socio-economic life of bamboo woven craftsmen in Nagari Koto Baru Simalanggang. Level of Education, Level of social welfare , and the socio-economic life of craftsmen has improved significantly from the existence of this bamboo woven craft business.

This research aims to find out the process of making bamboo crafts in Loyok Village, Sikur, East Lombok, to find out the materials and tools used to make bamboo crafts in Loyok Village, Sikur, East Lombok and to find out what types of bamboo woven crafts there are in the village. Loyok, Sikur, East Lombok. The data collection techniques used in this research are observation, interview and documentation techniques. The results of the research obtained by the researchers were knowing the process of making bamboo crafts in Loyok Village, Sikur, East Lombok, the types of woven bamboo craft products in Loyok Village, Sikur, East Lombok are Ponjol, Lompak, And Dedungki, and the process of making woven bamboo crafts is the process of selecting bamboo and processing bamboo, namely felling bamboo, cutting bamboo, slicing bamboo, painting bamboo slices and nembeq.

DEVELOPMENT STRATEGY OF MICRO, SMALL, AND MEDIUM INDUSTRIES BASED ON CREATIVE INDUSTRY CENTERS IN SIDOARJO REGENCY: A CASE STUDY

The variety of creative industries developed by the Sidoarjo people are based on micro, small, and medium-sized industries. It has a positive impact on the people's economy. These sectors are faced with various problems in developing their businesses, such as marketing, human resources, materials, machinery, capital and finance, products, technology, support, research and development, distribution, promotion, competitors, and policy. The aim of this research is to determine the strategy for developing micro, small, and medium-sized industry-based creative industrial centers in Sidoarjo Regency in an effort to improve the community's economy. The reasons are that Sidoarjo Regency has a lot of community economic activities on a micro, small, and medium-sized industry scale. Micro, small, and medium-sized industry-based industrial centers that are developing in Sidoarjo Regency include: Ngingas Metal Industrial Center, Jetis Written Batik Industrial Center, Tanggulangin Leather Shoe Craft Industrial Center, Seketi Balongbendo Bamboo Woven Village, Smoked Fish Village in Penatar Sewu, and Cracker Industry Center in Biting Village. Both qualitative and quantitative methods were applied in this research to solve the research problem. The research results indicated that the successful keys of micro, small, and medium-sized industries's development strategies are as follows: (i) forming village-owned enterprises to support the development of micro, small, and medium-sized industries; (ii) the business motivation is stronger because the businesses are hereditary; (iii) improving business aspects of competitive advantage; (iv) empowering communities to improve their village economies through the development of industrial centers; and (v) the role of governments in developing industrial centers.

Research on the International Supply Chain Management of Chinese Bamboo Weaving and Cultural and Creative Products

With the increasing of China's international status and the acceleration of the process of global economic integration, the internationalization strategy of Chinese enterprises is getting deeper and deeper. This paper analyzes the problems and challenges faced by the international supply chain management of Chinese bamboo weaving and creative products, and puts forward a set of supply chain management model that ADAPTS to the international development. Firstly, the concept, connotation and types of supply chain management are sorted out through literature review. Secondly, this paper analyzes the current situation of international supply chain management of bamboo editing and creative products, and points out the existing problems. Thirdly, based on the theory and practice of international supply chain management, this paper puts forward a set of supply chain management model suitable for the international development of bamboo editing and creative products. Finally, taking a bamboo weaving and creative products enterprise as an example, the application effect of the supply chain management model is empirically analyzed. The results show that the supply chain management model can effectively reduce the cost and improve the efficiency, and is conducive to the international development of bamboo editing and creative products

Innovative Design of Bamboo Weaving Products - Perspective from Hunan Province

The development of innovative model for bamboo weaving products in Hunan is needed since there is no rules to follow that can be used as a unified point of references. The objective of this research is to investigate, to determine and to assess the innovative model for bamboo weaving products in Hunan. In term of the methodology of the studies, a variety of different literature and current models were integrated to highlight the variation in consumer responses to the visual form of the product. Through a research project employing a mixed-methods approach, work began on how crafts-people and designers elicit these responses. Interviews with craftspeople, designers and consumer surveyors played a key role in this process. The findings indicate that this model is not only replicates the previous model created for the consumer response, but also incorporates new perspectives and insights. It also provides a more comprehensive model of innovative design that places Hunan's bamboo woven products within an aesthetic framework and describes activities other than design that are important in shaping the shape of the product.

Cultural Echoes in Modern Design: Assessing Young Consumers’ Perceptions of Traditional Bamboo Weaving Patterns

This study, employing convenience sampling of art specialists, investigates the emotional resonance of young consumers with Chinese bamboo patterns, underscoring their significance in the realm of contemporary design. Through the lens of Kansei engineering, we delve into the intricate world of bamboo weaving patterns, scrutinizing their perceptual evaluations and user preferences among 104 art university students aged 18–23. Our analysis not only identifies pivotal factors for innovative redesign but also underscores the pivotal role of these traditional patterns in enhancing the emotional and aesthetic appeal of products for the younger generation. The findings illuminate a notable appreciation among this demographic for the ecofriendly and culturally rich bamboo patterns, positioning them as essential elements in modern lifestyle products. The study advances the discourse on integrating cultural heritage into product innovation, advocating for designs that resonate with the aesthetic sensibilities and environmental values of today’s youth. This aligns with the critical insights into the various categories of patterns and their diverse applications in contemporary design, addressing the cognitive gap between designers and consumers and highlighting the importance of cultural motifs in product development.

Study on "Going Global" of Daoming Bamboo Weaving Based on PESTEL Model

Like other intangible cultural heritages in Sichuan, Daoming bamboo weaving plays the role of enhancing people's cultural identity and improving the soft power of the national cultural strength, but compared with Shu embroidery and Sichuan opera, its extent and degree of transmission still need to be improved. The PESTEL model is mainly used to analyze the opportunities for the survival and development of enterprises, but there are fewer analyses in the cultural field. Therefore, this paper chooses PESTEL to analyze Ding Zhizhu's studio, to provide suggestions for the development of Daoming bamboo weaving and to supplement the research of PESTEL model in the field of culture. Therefore, corresponding solutions are proposed for other Daoming bamboo weaving artists to learn from and open up new paths for their own development.

Characteristics of tape with different packaging materials: a review

Tape is a traditional Indonesian fermented food made from cassava or glutinous rice. Tape is usually presented at special events in various regions of Indonesia. Tape is generally wrapped and packaged traditionally using leaves. Nowadays, tape is also packaged in plastic and cardboard boxes. Based on traditional packaging using natural packaging materials, several types of leaves are used as tape wrappers, but the most used are banana leaves and guava leaves. This study aims to determine the effect of tape packaging materials on the characteristics of the tape. The method used is a systematic review by collecting scientific articles from Scopus, Research Gate, and Google Scholar by focusing on the keywords tape, wrapping food, and plant packaging. From the total number of articles obtained, some relevant papers were selected for discussion in this study. The information used focuses on the effect of packaging on the characteristics of the tape produced, the organoleptic properties of the tape, and the shelf life of the tape. The study's results found several types of packaging used in packing tape, including banana leaves, guava leaves, pandan leaves, woven bamboo, cardboard boxes, and plastic. The difference in the packaging used affects the sensory properties of the tape produced, such as tape color, aroma, and taste.
