The study of the understanding of the phenomenon of giftedness and talent by students in pedagogical areas of training

The problem of giftedness and talent has been attracting the attention of scientists and practitioners for a long period of time. Education and upbringing, peculiarities and difficulties of socialization, involvement in a variety of creative activities, support in educational, scientific, creative, sports activities, the ability to overcome various difficulties are the subject of research by many domestic and foreign authors. When considering the development of a gifted child, special attention is paid to all types of educational organizations where additional education teachers, educational psychologists, subject teachers ensure the participation of a gifted child in educational and extracurricular activities. The curriculum for the training of future teachers provides for academic disciplines and practices where students can form professional competencies. The purpose of the study is to identify the peculiarities of understanding giftedness and talent by students of pedagogical training areas of the Kostroma State University. Research methods: theoretical methods, including the analysis of the subject of research based on the study of scientific and methodological literature, as empirical methods, a survey of study participants was used. 102 students enrolled in bachelor's degree programs of the Kostroma State University (KSU, 2nd year) took part in the study. In our survey of 2nd year students, we revealed an understanding of the phenomenon of giftedness, the attitude of students to the peculiarities and difficulties of the development of gifted children, the readiness of students of pedagogical directions to work with this non-standard category, their perception of the phenomenon of talent, difficulties in the development of talented students.

Verdensmestre i tværsektorielle overgange eller lost in translation?

The article examines the implications of a national revision of bachelor's degree programmes in healthcare that aimed to increase students' competencies for cross-sectoral collaboration. Through critical policy analysis inspired by Nudzor's approach to policy as text and discourse, the article provides insight into the complex dynamics underlying the policy-practice gap related to this particular learning objective. The analysis shows that the introduction of this standardised learning outcome across bachelor's degree programmes in the health field has created challenges in clinical educational practice. While some programmes can relatively easily 'translate' policy into educational practice, others struggle to create meaningful and realisable educational practice with a focus on cross-sectoral competence development. Policy thus produces differentiations in the educational field. Some programmes and implementation actors are positioned as 'good', while others are left in less favourable positions. The article highlights the importance of illuminating how policy resonates with and influences practice in a complex and differentiated way. Furthermore, the article points to the need to critically discuss the transformation of objectives of health system policy to objectives of professional competencies.

Estudio del Desarrollo Vocacional, Autoeficacia y Expectativas de Resultado en Estudiantes de Educación con y sin Discapacidad

Introduction. Drawing on Social Cognitive Career Theory (SCCT), this study examines the academic development process of university students. According to the model, self-efficacy and outcome expectations are key constructs in SCCT, shaped by personal factors and predispositions, such as disability, gender, and race. Method. The sample comprised 299 students enrolled in the Bachelor's Degree programs in Primary Education and Early Childhood Education at the University of Granada. The measurement instruments utilized in the study included the University Biodata Questionnaire (Rocabert et al., 2007), the Generalized Self-Efficacy Scale (Baessler & Schwarzer, 1996), and the Academic Outcome Expectations Scale (Zalazar-Jaine & Cupani, 2018). Results. The study variables demonstrated a direct relationship among them. Validation tests were conducted due to the adaptation of one of the instruments, highlighting its suitability for the study. No differences were observed in vocational development levels, self-efficacy, or outcome expectations between students with and without disabilities. Differences were found concerning the sex variable in terms of self-efficacy and outcome expectations, but not in relation to effective vocational development. Discussion or Conclusión. While the overall scores of the combined sample did not show significant differences in comparison, factors such as vocational interest periods, perceived barriers to study completion, satisfaction with the chosen career, and extrinsic or intrinsic academic outcome expectations exhibited notable variations between the two groups. The exploratory nature of the study is emphasized, along with the potential biases within the sample regarding disability and gender.

Stakeholder perspectives on graduates' acquisition of competencies in nursing bachelor's degree programs: A qualitative study

BackgroundIn nursing education, greater emphasis should be placed on stakeholder perspectives, and these perspectives should be integrated into the educational process. Stakeholder perspectives are of great importance in determining the extent to which graduates achieve program competencies, and if necessary, in revising these competencies based on the relevant feedback. ObjectiveThis study aimed to determine stakeholder perspectives on the acquisition of nursing program competencies by graduates of undergraduate nursing programs. DesignExploratory qualitative research design. Participants and settingThe study was conducted in June 2024 through focus group interviews with a total of 20 internal and external stakeholders. MethodsThe data were collected using Semi-Structured Focus Group Interview Forms. The data were organized according to common/similar categories by content analysis. ResultsThe data obtained based on the views of the participants on the acquisition of nursing program competencies by graduates of nursing education programs were divided into three categories: Competencies Acquired from Nursing Education (professional knowledge and skills, lifelong learning), Competencies That Need Improvement (critical thinking/problem-solving skills, communication skills, foreign language proficiency, professional values, and managerial skills), and Suggestions to Improve Competencies Acquired from Nursing Education (suggestions related to education, the profession, and institutional/administrative matters). Additionally, 10 subcategories associated with these categories were identified. ConclusionCompetencies expected in members of the profession of nursing are a global topic of discussion, and the findings of study provide important insights for future studies. In line with these results, it is recommended to enhance collaboration with stakeholders and conduct regular meetings involving all stakeholders. The outcomes of these meetings should guide the structuring of educational programs to ensure the acquisition of competencies, and relevant activities should be planned and implemented accordingly.

Postoj studentů sociální pedagogiky k homoparentálním rodinám

The paper is focused on the research of the attitude of the students of the Bachelor's and Master's degree programmes in social pedagogy from the J. E. Purkyně University in Ústí nad Labem, University of Ostrava and Masaryk University in Brno (N = 107) towards the issue of homoparental families and in a broader context towards homosexuality as such. Furthermore, we also focus on the students' perspective on how the issue of homoparental families is reflected in the educational content of the subjects in their curriculum. An accessible type of research sampling was used. The author's questionnaire constructed on the principle of Likert scales was used as a research instrument. The questionnaire includes items aimed at identifying attitudes towards gay marriage, the causes of homosexuality, the upbringing of children by homoparental parents, and the space devoted to this topic in the university training of future social educators. The data obtained were processed using descriptive methods of statistical analysis and further analyzed. The findings show that a significant majority of the respondents are in favour of homosexual couples receiving the same rights as heterosexual couples, including the possibility of marriage. Furthermore, the majority of respondents appear to be in favour of the naturalness of homosexual couples raising children. From the answers we can conclude that the students interviewed consider homosexuality as natural as heterosexuality and their attitudes are mostly positive.

On the issue of the formation of the national identity of students (on the case of universities in Kazakhstan)

Introduction. The article examines the theoretical aspects and practical possibilities of formation of national identity in universities of Kazakhstan. This problem is becoming relevant in the context of the globalization of knowledge and international integration of education, the growth of academic mobility and the expansion of intercultural communications. Aim. The aim is to explore the mechanisms of constructing national identity and strengthening the national features of educational programs of higher education based on the study and generalization of the experience of Kazakhstani universities. Methodology and research methods. Based on the content analysis of normative documents on education, the content of bachelor's degree curricula and critical understanding of foreign scientific literature, the authors attempt to fill in the gaps in understanding the mechanisms of formation of national identity in higher education in the country and show its features. Results. The authors present the results of an analysis of the structure and content of bachelor educational programs at universities in Kazakhstan for the presence of the national component in them. Тhe authors summarize that the formation of national identity among the younger generation and filling it with semantic content is considered by the Kazakh academic community as an important state task, as a foundation for the cohesion and spiritual unity of citizens of a multinational country. The mechanisms of constructing national identity in the higher education system have been developed at the state level and are implemented in university training and educational practices. The national component of bachelor's degree programs, focused on formation of national identity, is provided by the content of general education humanities and language disciplines. University programs are developed in accordance with the requirements of the State Bachelor's Degree Standard, which contains a list of compulsory subjects for studying national history and culture, Kazakh, Russian and foreign languages. The principles of academic freedom allow universities to enhance the national flavor of educational programs by filling elective courses with national content. Scientific novelty. In modern conditions, the problem of ensuring the national identity of educational programs universities does not at all seem to be an axiom that contradicts the processes of internationalization of education. Universities around the world use various mechanisms to ensure the national identity of their programs, making them more attractive to students in the context of the development of intercultural communication. Kazakh universities are still gaining experience, but it may already be of interest from the point of view of accumulating practical experience. The practical significance of the study lies in the formulation of the problem as one of the important discourses in higher education. The results of the study will make a certain contribution to the understanding of the mechanisms and factors influencing the provision of national identity of educational programs using the example of a specific country. The article contributes to the scientific conversation about the meaning of national identity and can be a contribution to the study of the problems of forming the national identity of the younger generation.

APPLICATION OF DIFFERENT EDUCATIONAL STRATEGIES TO ENHANCE THE EFFECTIVENESS OF WORK-BASED LEARNING FOR STUDENTS IN ENGINEERING AND SCIENCE EDUCATION PROGRAMMES

In the context of modern social and technological transformations, universities must ensure the continuous development of students' skills necessary for employment through their involvement in professional communication, individual and continuous learning, in the implementation of projects, research, analysis and problem solving. At the same time, universities should ensure regular monitoring, updating and adjustment of educational programs, learning strategies, learning outcomes, the use of student-oriented approaches in teaching, create a comfortable and trusting learning environment, provide timely and constructive feedback. In accordance with this, the aim of the work was to determine the most effective strategies for practical training of students of engineering and natural science educational programs at the workplace in the company. To achieve the purpose of the research, practical training programs for students in the workplace were developed and tested in companies of the Karaganda and Akmola regions, an analysis of the progress of students and the results of self-assessment in the development of key skills within the framework of practical training programs at the workplace was carried out. During the research, assessment protocols, online questionnaires and self-assessment methods were developed and used in the work. Based on the results of the approbation of practical training programs for students in the workplace according to the bachelor's degree programs “6B06201 – Radio engineering, electronics and Telecommunications” and “6B05304 – Physics”, their effectiveness in the development of professional and technical skills, teamwork and teamwork skills, critical thinking, important personal qualities necessary for graduates of educational programs of engineering has been established and natural science profiles for successful integration into the professional environment and career development. Based on the analysis of the effectiveness of applied workplace learning strategies, it is shown that when teaching students of engineering and natural science educational programs, universities need to involve students more in problem-solving, project-oriented and practice-oriented tasks and cases, which will allow them to acquire the necessary practical experience in identifying and analyzing problems, making adequate decisions, and improving their assessment self-efficacy, improve social and professional communication and interaction skills.

The Influence of Graph Theory Approach in Preventing Cheating at Higher Learning Institution: A case of Institute of Accountancy Arusha

Academic dishonesty has been more common in recent years, both through self-reported and detected cases, which has brought significant attention to the issue of cheating in educational settings. Students often cheat for a variety of reasons, including lack of study time, unclear learning objectives, fear of failing, peer pressure, and parental pressure for academic success. Students who rely on plagiarizing answers miss the opportunity to build their skills and may face challenges in job requirements. The problem of cheating / copying the neighbor's works during the examination is particularly well known. With graph theory especially graph coloring, it is proposed to develop the students' sitting arrangement that can be the solution of cheating. An experimental case study focuses on three master's programs, three bachelor's degree programs, three diploma programs, and three certificate programs at the Institute of Accountancy Arusha. This is done when one room or a venue is assigned to two or more programs with different backgrounds depending on the size of the room. The result shows that using graph coloring has reduced the tendency of students to copy or ask questions from their neighbors in the examination room. Based on the assessment of graph theory's effectiveness in preventing cheating at the Institute of Accountancy Arusha, several recommendations can be made. First, the institution should invest in developing a comprehensive data collection system that captures relevant information such as seating arrangements, student interactions, and exam performance patterns. Collaboration with other institutions in implementing similar technologies could also create a shared knowledge base and lead to best practices in academic integrity. Finally, continuous monitoring and evaluation of this system should be conducted to refine its processes and adapt to new cheating technique.

IMPLEMENTATION OF APPLIED BACHELOR'S DEGREE PROGRAMS IN KAZAKHSTAN: ANALYSIS OF STAKEHOLDERS' PERCEPTIONS

Short-cycle educational programs in Kazakhstan are currently represented by applied bachelor degree programs. This first of its kind study was conducted to analyse the perceptions of applied bachelor programs by students, program graduates and employers inKazakhstan. The results of the survey and interviews revealed a motivation for choosing applied bachelor programs among students of these programs and graduates, as well as the level of satisfaction with their choice. Employers' responses included an assessment of the training provided by the applied bachelor programs and whether programs graduates meet employers expectations. The authors concluded that applied bachelor programs ensure successful integration in the labor market. They provide access to training for socially vulnerable groups (e.g., part-time workers, unemployed people who do not follow traditional educational paths), increasing access to education. The practice-oriented nature of applied bachelor's degree programs allows to obtain qualified personnel in a shorter period of time compared to bachelor's degrees, which is beneficial for employers. Nevertheless, there were revealed problems related to the transition from NQF level 5 to level 6 for higher education, as well as insufficient information work of education providers to explain the advantages and features of applied bachelor degree programs. This suggests a need to take measures to further develop and strengthen the applied bachelor's degree in Kazakhstan. In general, it can be said that development prospects of applied bachelor's degree will contribute to the training of qualified personnel for the labor market.

Socio-demographic portrait of the applicant and the main motives for choosing the "Therapy and rehabilitation" speciality

Rehabilitation and psychological support are becoming today's most urgent issues due to russian armed aggression. These needs will be long-lasting and increasingly significant. Since 2023, the Program of Medical Guarantees in Ukraine has been expanded regarding rehabilitation assistance. Additionally, volumes of the state-commissioned training of bachelors and masters in the speciality of "Therapy and rehabilitation" have been increased. It is well known that the quality of specialists trained by higher educational institutions largely depends on the motives behind the career choice. Knowledge about a student's socio-demographic status and his/her motivations to become a physical therapy and occupational therapy specialist can help understand future challenges and opportunities for the profession's development. This information can aid in elaborating strategies to promote the profession in the educational services market and to attract more applicants to choose the speciality 227 "Therapy and rehabilitation". The research aimed to compose the socio-demographic characteristics of the applicant for training in the speciality 227 "Therapy and rehabilitation", to investigate the motivational aspects of career choice and to establish the factors significant for motivation formation. To achieve this goal, a voluntary anonymous survey of 39 domestic applicants enrolled to complete the bachelor's degree program in speciality 227 "Therapy and rehabilitation" at Dnipro State Medical University was conducted. It was determined that the contingent of applicants is represented mainly by persons aged 16-18 (74%) with an active life position (90%). Additionally, most are familiar with the specifics of medical professions (62%) and have had previous personal or professional contact with physical therapy and occupational therapy (78%). The future career decision was mostly independent (84%), conscious, and influenced by the balance of internal and external motivational factors. It was typically made one to two years before taking degree course (72%). The primary motives for choosing the speciality 227 "Therapy and rehabilitation" while understanding its demand in today's conditions by applicants (82%) were "interest in medical science" (95%), "the desire to help others" (95%), "the opportunity to obtain a prestigious profession" (90%), "possibility of guaranteed employment" (90%) and "material interest/financial independence" (87%). Future specialists are aware of the importance of controlled acquisition of knowledge and skills (90%), the need for daily independent work (80%), and the significance of gaining practical experience during training (95%). They aim to achieve professionalism (59%), enhance communication skills (31%), build endurance (31%), and cultivate persistence (28%) and empathy (28%). Most applicants entering the speciality 227 "Therapy and rehabilitation" are goal-oriented, highly motivated, and prepared for rigorous study, which is the key to developing into competent and competitive specialists.

The article gives assessment of the procedure of granting guarantees and compensations to the listener of the institute of correspondence and distance learning, sent for training by the employer on state-accredited bachelor's, specialist's or master's degree programs by correspondence. The legal framework regulating legal relations between the employee undergoing training and the staffing body of EMERCOM of Russia has been studied. Proposals on improvement of local normative and legal acts for elimination of difficulties arising at students of correspondence form of training at granting them guarantees and compensations for passing intermediate certification are made.

Quality of Public Service in Issuing Birth Certificates at the Population and Civil Registration Office of Gorontalo City. Undergraduate Thesis. Bachelor's Degree Program in Public Administration, Universitas Negeri Gorontalo. The Principal Supervisor: Dr. H. Rosman Ilato, M.Pd. The Co-supervisor. Dr. Irawaty Igirisa, M.Si. This study aims to evaluate and analyze public service quality in issuing birth certificates at the Population and Civil Registration Office of Gorontalo City. The study was conducted by assessing the service through the dimensions of tangibles, reliability, responsiveness, assurance, and empathy. Furthermore, it was conducted using a qualitative research method, utilizing observation, interview, and documentation data collection techniques. The findings reveal that the overall quality of public service, specifically within the Population and Civil Registration Office of Gorontalo City, assessed across five dimensions, are as follows: Tangibles are found to be lacking in facilities and infrastructure, such as seating, parking space, additional computers, and other informational media beneficial to the public. Reliability is noted as a concern, as staff are unable to provide accurate timelines for document processing. Responsiveness is adequate, with staff demonstrating a responsive attitude toward serving the public. Assurance remains suboptimal due to issues with service timeliness, and empathy is adequately demonstrated, with staff maintaining courteous interactions. Based on this analysis, it can be concluded that the quality of public service in the issuence of birth certificate at the Population and Civil Registration Office of Gorontalo City is not yet optimal. The researcher suggests that future improvements in facilities and infrastructure, along with enhanced staff performance, will lead to more efficient and reliable document issuance, reducing the need for repeated follow-ups by the public.

Impact of Gamification and Interactive Language Learning Platforms on Engagement and Proficiency in English Language Education

Aim. This paper aims to quantify and assess the level of satisfaction and the impact associated with using gamification and interactive learning platforms in the context of English language learning among students. In this research paper, we delve into the exciting domain of gamification and interactive language learning platforms to uncover their potential to enrich student engagement and proficiency in English language education. Method. Through a rigorous quantitative approach, we meticulously scrutinize the effects of infusing gamified elements and interactive platforms into the fabric of English language instruction. The sample consists of 59 foreign language students (English and German) enrolled in Bachelor and Master degree programs at Aleksandër Moisiu University, Durrës. The selection criteria were based on the students' availability and willingness to participate during the period from January to March 2024. This method ensures the inclusion of a diverse group of students within the specified timeframe. Results and conclusion. By delving deep into the quantitative data gleaned from participants' performance metrics, our study offers concrete, evidence-based insights into the effectiveness of gamification and interactive platforms in fueling language acquisition and fostering learner motivation.

Motivation in Learning and Happiness: A Study among Generation Z University Students in Malaysia

The focus on success has overshadowed the happiness of students, leading to increased stress levels and eventual disengagement and dropout. This study prioritized the importance of student motivation in their happiness. It aimed to determine whether there is a link between motivation in learning and the happiness of Gen Z students in a Malaysian institution. 120 business faculty members enrolled in bachelor's degree programs in Malaysia participated in an online survey. The survey consisted of close-ended questions and utilized a Likert-type scale to gauge levels of agreement or disagreement regarding happiness using The Happiness Measures (HM). The analysis of the data was performed with SPSS Statistics Version 29. The study findings indicated a strong and meaningful correlation between happiness and three predictor variables: self-efficacy, active learning strategy, and achievement goals. Moreover, the research emphasized the capacity of extracurricular pursuits to improve the welfare of Generation Z students.

Entrepreneurship Education Around the World: A Study on Member Universities of the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business

It has long been debated whether people are born entrepreneurs or if it is a combination of skills and knowledge that can be acquired through education and training. While there are passionate scholars on both sides of the debate, the increasing number of studies and programs focusing on training people on how to become entrepreneurs perhaps shows that the balance is shifting in favour of the latter side. The purpose of this study is to examine how universities are performing the task of teaching entrepreneurship by focusing on member institutions of the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB). A total of 461 out of 1794 institutions that are members of the AACSB member directory were examined for the study. First, descriptive statistics were used to determine the number of bachelor's and master's degree programs that focus directly on entrepreneurship education along with lower-level programs such as minors and certificates. This was supplemented by examining additional entrepreneurship-related best practices employed by these institutions, such as entrepreneurship centres or certificate programs. All analyses were bifurcated by examining results based on criteria such as educational level, geographical location, and AACSB accreditation. The results show that although almost all business schools have included some form of entrepreneurship courses in their curricula, the number of programs or degrees directly dedicated to entrepreneurship remains a minority. In addition to classroom teachings, some of these institutions offer innovative practices related to entrepreneurship, such as entrepreneurship scorecards, entrepreneurship competitions, and certificate programs. All data collected and analysed were used to develop an overview of undergraduate and graduate level entrepreneurship education to encourage institutions and individuals to develop entrepreneurship programs that cover all theoretical and applied aspects of entrepreneurship education to support aspiring entrepreneurs along their journey.

An Interview with Massimiliano Di Penta - 2024 SIGSOFT Awardee

Massimiliano Di Penta received the 2024 SIGSOFT Early Career Researcher Award for outstanding service to the software engineering community, including serving as program co-chair for all premier software engineering conferences and several other events. Massimiliano received a Ph.D. in Computer Engineering at the University of Sannio (Italy) in 2003. He is now a Full Professor at the University of Sannio (Italy), where he is also the Director of the PhD program in Information Technology for Engineering, and has been Director of the Bachelor's and Master's Degree Programs in Computer Science Engineering.

МІСЦЕ АДАПТИВНОЇ ФІЗИЧНОЇ КУЛЬТУРИ В ПРОЦЕСІ ПІДГОТОВКИ МАЙБУТНІХ ФАХІВЦІВ З ФІЗИЧНОГО ВИХОВАННЯ ВЗАРУБІЖНИХ КРАЇНАХ

The purpose of the research was to analyze the place and content of adaptive physical culture in the programs of training bachelors in physical education in foreign countries (based on the material of English-speaking countries). Material and methods. We searched for educational programs for obtaining a bachelor's degree in physical education available in 2024 in the USA, Great Britain and Ireland using the online service. The search was carried out by setting the following filters: Field of study - "Education", in particular, "Teaching", "Physical education"; Location - USA, United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, Ireland; Degree type – "Bachelor", "Bachelor of Science", "Bachelor of Arts". In total,8 educational programs were analyzed, in particular, 6 in the USA and 1 each in Great Britain and Ireland. The following methods were used in the research process: summarization of data from scientific and methodical literature and Internet sources, analysis and synthesis of the obtained information. Results and key conclusions. The vast majority of bachelor's degree programs in the USA, Great Britain and Ireland are designed for 2, 3 or 4 years of higher education and include at least 120 credits. At least 2.5 % of ECTS credits from the total volume of the educational program are allocated to the study of adaptive physical culture (between 3 and 6 ECTS credits). The content of educational programs in English-speaking countries (USA, Great Britain, Ireland) includes the study of adaptive physical culture by students within such disciplines as "Adaptive physical education", "Physical education for students with disabilities", "Introduction to adaptive physical education", "Adaptive physical culture and sport", "Assessment and Program Evaluation in Adapted Physical Education", "Inclusive sport and physicalactivity", "Adaptive physical education and physical activity".

Flipped learning in a molecular biology course: pre-service teachers’ performance and perceptions

The aim of this research was to evaluate and compare the efficiency of the flipped learning strategy with that of a conventional teaching method with respect to learning outcomes, cognitive gain, and perception and satisfaction with regard to the methodology used. The research was carried out during the 2021-2022 academic year and focused on a molecular biology course within a primary education Bachelor's degree programme, which included a total of 146 students. In order to assess the students' comprehension of the mechanisms involved in DNA replication, transcription, and translation, we employed two different methods: the multiple-select Central Dogma Concept Inventory (CDCI) and a concept-mapping activity. A three-point Likert-type scale questionnaire was used to investigate the pre-service teachers' perceptions of the methodological approach that we used. The results show that the flipped learning pedagogical approach not only increases pre-service teachers' performance but also enables them to develop higher level cognitive skills than with traditional methodology. However, several features of the central dogma processes remained poorly understood, probably because of the multilevel and invisible nature of the molecular biology, and the lack of knowledge of the molecular interactions that facilitate these processes. The pre-service teachers had a more positive perception of the teaching approach and their own competence when they followed the flipped model.

Dropouts and its Reasons in a Community Campus: A Narrative Inquiry

This study has predominantly explored the primary challenges associated with the dropout rates in higher education institutions. Furthermore, this research paper seeks to analyze the dropout rates within bachelor's degree programs at Myagdi Multiple Campus (MMC) and delve into the underlying causes for these dropouts. Among the four primary factors contributing to the dropout rate under investigation in this study, the personal-related factor is identified as the most influential. It has explored a variety of the reasons of the dropout: the pursuit of foreign employment, not getting suitable job at homeland, low motivation rate for higher study and parental socio-economic status. Moreover, the objective of this study is to identify the reasons of the dropout in bachelor level fundamentally at a community campus, and attempt to recommend the positive feedbacks to the concerned authority for upliftment of the present situation. This study has employed interpretivism as the research paradigm, phenomenology as research design and narrative inquiry as research methodology. The theories that I have employed the dominant motivational theories in this study: Maslow’s Hierarchy of Needs and Tinto’s model. For the purpose, I have applied Google forms to collect forty participants' opinions through non-random judgement sampling and the phone calls for the interview with seven participants as the tools for collecting the required data for the designated study. Question included in form regarding student’s background and credentials, parents' education level, current educational status, occupation, income, specific reasons for dropping out, family support, satisfaction with MMC, and opinions on the duration of the bachelor's program. The implications of this study are to improve and boost up higher education policy for controlling and monitoring the existing dropout rate of the community campuses.

Bachelor’s Degree Studies Satisfaction in the City of Ostrava

Bachelor education in the Czech Republic plays a vital role in shaping the nation's workforce and economy; this paper investigates Bachelor's Degree programs, emphasizing their duration, diversity, and impact on national development. Through a literature review, it addresses challenges such as educational quality, employability, and student satisfaction. The study highlights the need for improved funding, career support, and industry partnerships to enhance the Bachelor’s Degree Education experience in the Czech Republic. Furthermore, it offers strategic recommendations for policymakers to optimize the accessibility, relevance, and quality of Bachelor's Education, ultimately fostering individual advancement and progress. For clarity purposes, it is necessary to highlight that the results of this research paper are drawn from a preliminary research study that was conducted in 2024 in the City of Ostrava in the Czech Republic.
