Penerapan Model Pembelajaran Berbasis Think-Talk-Write (TTW) Untuk Meningkatkan Kemampuan Berpikir Logis Pada Siswa

The Think Talk Write (TTW) based learning model in school action research is applied to material regarding math problems in everyday life. The research was carried out with the aim of knowing whether the application of the Think Talk Write (TTW) based learning model for students of SD Negeri Wonokusumo VII / 46 Surabaya could improve their logical thinking skills in Mathematics. The research was conducted with a two-cycle action mechanism. And based on the results of the analysis, it can be concluded that the application of the Think Talk Write (TTW) based learning model can improve logical thinking skills and improve student achievement at SD Negeri Wonokusumo VII / 46 Surabaya. This can be seen from the increase in students' logical thinking skills in improving their learning outcomes. The effectiveness of the application of the Think Talk Write (TTW) based learning model in improving student achievement of SD Negeri Wonokusumo VII / 46 is shown through an increase in the average post-test score, an increase in the percentage of classical completeness and an increase in the value of observations on students' logical thinking abilities. The average post-test score in cycle I was 74.25 and cycle II was 78.29. Classical completeness in cycle I 76% and cycle II 91%. The average value of observations on students' logical thinking skills in the first cycle is 79.59 and the second cycle is 82.4.

This study aims to determine the chemical properties and escalation levels of macro (N, P, and K) and micro nutrients of Liquid Organic Fertilizer (LOF) made from papaya, apple, pineapple, and saba banana peels which were given the addition of several organic nutrients to enhance N, P, and K. The research design was an experiment in the form of a simple data analysis based on the average value of observations. Liquid organic fertilizer of fruit waste (papaya, apples, pineapples, and saba banana) added with several organic substances enhancing nutrients N, P, and K have better chemical properties where the C-organic content is 17.55% higher 1.2% compared to LOF fruit waste; pH value is 4.18 compared to LOF of fruit waste which is 3.6; macro nutrients namely N levels of 1.24% more 0.06%, P levels of 321.7 ppm 36.8 ppm more, K levels of 139.3 ppm 10.2 ppm more, Ca levels of 294.1 ppm 117.4 ppm more, and Mg levels of 176.7 ppm more 0.12 ppm; and micronutrients that are increased around 0.02-1.54 ppm, where Fe nutrient levels increased by 1.54 ppm, Cu by 0.05 ppm, Zn by 0.62 ppm, and Mn by 0.02 ppm.

Meningkatkan Keterampilan Berbicara Siswa SMA Dwijendra Gianyar Melalui Model Pembelajaran Contextual Teaching And Learning

The purpose of this study was to improve students' speaking skills through the learning model Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) in class XI students in the odd semester of Dwijendra Gianyar High School in the academic year 2016/2017. Based on the results of classroom action research that has been carried out in two cycles with the use of the Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) learning model in Indonesian language learning, it can be concluded that there was an increase in speaking skills in class XI students of the Dwijendra Gianyar high school after learning with the use of models learning Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL). This can be seen from the results of tests of students' speaking skills that are increasing in each cycle, namely the average value of observations in the first cycle 75.22 and increased to 83.85 in the second cycle. And seen from the results of the speaking skills test in the first cycle it was known that 14 of 27 students had reached the KKM score (75), and increased in the second cycle where 27 of 27 students had succeeded in achieving the KKM score (75). Based on the results of classroom action research using these two cycles, it turns out that the formulated hypothesis is proven to be true meaning it turns out the learning model steps Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) can improve speaking skills in class XI students in the odd semester of Dwijendra Gianyar High School 2016/2017.

From grouped to de-grouped data: a new approach in distribution fitting for grouped data

ABSTRACTSampling within a given interval with a constraint has not been previously considered. Standard parametric simulation engines require knowledge of the parameters of the distribution from which a sample is drawn. These methods are limited if additional constrains are required for the simulated data. We propose a method that generates the targeted number of individual observations within a given interval with a constraint that the average value of observations is known. This method is further extended to a grouped data setting, as a way of data de-grouping, when the frequency and average value of observations are provided for each group. Several simulation studies are employed to evaluate the performance of the proposed method, in case of both a single interval and grouped data, for different simulation settings. Furthermore, the proposed method is evaluated in the parameter recovery when different distributions are fitted to the de-grouped data. This method is found to be superior to the uniform method previously used in data de-grouping. The results of the simulation study are promising and they show that this method can be used successfully in the applications where data de-grouping requires that the average value of observations is maintained in each group. The application of the proposed method is illustrated on a real data of insurance losses for bodily injury claims.

this Action Research aims to improve the ability of teachers to utilize the school environment as a learning resource through discussions of Teachers Working Group (KKG) SDN Surianeun 2 Patia District, Pandeglang Regency academic year 2014-2015. This reasearch also conducted improve creativity, motivation, and learning result of students and teachers. From 10 teachers who involvid, 5 teachers got score with category “good”, meanwhile 5 teacher with category “enough”. At second sycles there is a better improvement 75% teacher got score with category good with score averiage 80-89. It is accordance with the defined success criteria. In detail, the acquisition value of the average increase in teachers' ability to utilize the school environment as a learning resource. The average value of observations on the discussions is 79.38 in the first cycle to 84.88 in the second cycle. Learning scenario exercise average is 78.75 in the first cycle to 82.50 in the second cycle. learning activities or in the process of learning the average is 78.33 in the first cycle to 82.08 in the second cycle.

The value of observations. II: The value of observations located in singular‐vector‐based target areas

AbstractData‐assimilation experiments have been run in seven different configurations for two seasons to assess the value of observations taken in target regions identified either using singular vectors (SVs) or randomly, and located over the Pacific or the Atlantic Oceans. The value has been measured by the relative short‐range forecast error reduction in downstream areas, specifically a North American region for observations taken in the Pacific Ocean, and a European region for observations taken in the Atlantic Ocean.Overall, results have indicated (1) that observations taken in SV‐target areas are on average more valuable than observations taken in randomly selected areas, (2) that it is important that the daily set of singular vectors are used to compute the target areas, and (3) that the value of targeted observations depends on the region, the season and the baseline observing system. If the baseline observing system is data‐void over the ocean, then the average value of observations taken in SV‐target areas is very high. Considering for example winter 2004, SV‐targeted observations over the Pacific (Atlantic) reduce the day‐2 forecasts error of 500 hPa geopotential height forecasts in the verification region by 27.5% (19.1%), compared to 15.7% (14.9%) for observations taken in random areas. By contrast, if the baseline observing system is data‐rich over the ocean, then the average value of observations taken in SV‐target areas is rather small. Considering for example winter 2004, it has been estimated that adding SV‐targeted observations over the Pacific (Atlantic) would reduce, on average, the day‐2 forecasts error in the verification region by 4.0% (2.0%), compared to 0.5% (1.7%) for observations in random areas. These average results have been confirmed by single‐case investigations, and by a careful examination of time series of forecast errors.These results indicate that more accurate assimilation systems that can exploit the potential value of localized observations are needed to increase the average return of investments in targeting field experiments. Kinetic Approach to Fluctuation Phenomena: A Historical Outline

The term kinetic theory of fluctuations refers to a theoretical description of fluctuation phenomena in (non-equilibrium) system of weakly interacting particles (excitations), the system for which the average values of observables can be found from the kinetic (Boltzmann) equation. The paper offers a survey of a nearly centennial history of the development of this modern chapter of Physical Kinetics that serves today as a powerful tool when seeking coherent understanding of noise and fluctuation phenomena in different systems - semiconductors and metallic conductors, plasma and gases, chemically reacting systems, etc. - under non-equilibrium conditions. The report also presents an overview of numerous applications of the kinetic theory of fluctuations enabling to predict and interpret noise properties of biased systems where the progress was achieved recently by combining theoretical-analytical, Monte Carlo, and experimental activities.

Semiclassical Analysis of Discretizations of Schrödinger-type Equations

We apply Wigner-transform techniques to the analysis of difference methods for Schrödinger-type equations in the case of a small Planck constant. In this way we are able to obtain sharp conditions on the spatial-temporal grid which guarantee convergence for average values of observables as the Planck constant tends to zero. The theory developed in this paper is not based on local and global error estimates and does not depend on whether caustics develop or not.Numerical examples are presented to help interpret the theory.
