KEMAMPUAN BERPIKIR KREATIF MENGGUNAKAN PMRI PADA SISWA SMP

The purpose of this study is to identify the impact of creative thinking skills using PMRI on grade VIII students. The method used is an experimental method with a pretest-posttest control research design group. The research sample involved the random selection of two classes, namely class VIII.6 (Experimental Class) with a total of 29 students and class VIII.3 (Control Class) with the same number of students. Data was collected using documentation methods, observation sheets, and essay tests. The results of this study obtained the average score of the experimental class which was 87 and the average of the control class 76. Then the average results of students' creative thinking skills for the four indicators were obtained in the experimental class of 77% which was categorized as good and the control class had an average of 60% which was categorized as adequate. The data was processed using Soffware SPSS version 25. From Equal Variances Assumed and Equal Variances Not Ascetic, the value of sig (2-tailed) is 0.000 0.05, then it is rejected and accepted. So that the ability to think creatively using PMRI in students has a good effect on the learning process of junior high school students

Use of YouTube videos to Improve Students' English Pronunciation Skills

English pronunciation is a language skill that must be mastered well by students studying English, especially in the teaching department. Pronunciation that is less than perfect will result in misunderstandings and the meaning of the vocabulary can also be different. During the learning process in the classroom, the way of how to pronounce vocabulary is only given by the lecturer, which sometimes makes the class atmosphere less varied and students become less active. Therefore, this research discusses the effectiveness of videos on YouTube which are used as learning media during the English learning process in the classroom. This research uses a qualitative descriptive method with data in the form of the average results of students’ scores in English pronunciation which are tested orally. The research results show that the use of YouTube videos is very effective in improving students' pronunciation skills because the videos displayed come from native speakers who use British and American accents. In other words, videos on YouTube can become one of effective English pronunciation learning media. The research results also showed an increase of student scores in English pronunciation and students were more enthusiastic during the learning process in the classroom.

Analysis of Declared Pedagogical Practices in STEM Education in Morocco

Internationally, we observe that the results of Moroccan students in mathematics are significantly lower than the average results of students from other countries. This observation, could in part, be explained by maintaining an approach based on the transmission of knowledge which does not promote the development of student skills. Since STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) based instruction has been shown to have a positive impact on student achievement in mathematics, we explored the teaching and assessment practices reported by five Moroccan teachers in order to identify practices that would be compatible with teaching based on STEM. Although only one participant said they knew this approach, our results indicate that all participants have practices compatible with an integrated approach to STEM. These results outline a future where teachers and researchers will work together to implement STEM-based education and explore, in the Moroccan context, the scope and limits of such education.

Students’ Creative Thinking Ability in Solving Mathematical Problems

This research aims to determine the description of students' creative thinking abilities in solving mathematical problems in learning Trigonometry. The research design is descriptive qualitative. The research subjects were Class X high school students. Data collection instruments included Creative Thinking Ability TESTs and interviews. The data analysis technique used is time triangulation. This research explores students' creative thinking abilities in solving mathematical problems. The results show that the ability to think creatively Students' mathematics is described based on a review of the answers to the mathematical creative thinking ability test which consists of 4 aspects, namely fluency, flexibility, novelty and detail. Based on the average results of students' answers in solving questions regarding mathematical creative thinking abilities, there were 5 questions, which had different averages, although none of their creative thinking abilities reached the very high category. This shows that students are less able to solve problems with mathematical creative thinking skills. The ability to think creatively at the high strata is at high criteria with an average of 28.6. The highest score achieved by students was 32 and the lowest score was 23.

The Development of Assessment Instrument Based on Wordwall to Measure Process Science Skills for Environmental Pollution

This study aims to determine the validity, practicality, and effectiveness of an assessment instruments based on Wordwall in measuring students' science process skills of junior high school science learning in environmental pollution materials. This research is a type of development research (Research and Development) that refers to the procedure of the Borg and Gall development model which has stages including research and information collecting, planning, develop the preliminary form of the product, product design validation, main product revisions, main field testing, operational product revision, operational field testing, final product revision. The subject of the study was a grade VII student of SMPN 2 Ajung, Jember. This study used instruments in the form of validation sheets, practicality sheets, student questionnaire sheets, and science process skills tests. Data analysis techniques used in research consist of validity test analysis, practicality test analysis, and effectiveness test analysis. The results showed that out of 20 multiple-choice questions developed from aspects of material, construction, and language based on the assessment of 3 validators were declared very valid and worthy of use without revision. The twenty multiple-choice questions tested have valid question item validity. The assessment instrument has a reliability value of 0.612. The difficulty level analysis obtained 5 easy criteria questions, 14 medium criteria questions, and 1 difficult criteria question. The effectiveness of the assessment instrument obtained the average results of students' science process skills of 55%, including the sufficient category and student response questionnaires of 81%, so they were declared very good.

Application of Science Explore Books on Earth and Solar System Materials to Improve Understanding of Science Concepts for Grade VII Students

Understanding concepts is a very important aspect in learning, especially in science learning where there are many complex concepts and theories so good understanding is needed. The role of educators, methods and teaching materials will be maximized to provide students with a good understanding of concepts. This research aims to determine the increase in students' understanding of science concepts before and after the application of the Science Exploration Book on Earth and Solar System material in class VII by taking samples using a purposive sampling technique. Data collection in this research was in the form of pretest and posttest and analyzed using N-Gain to determine the increase in understanding of concepts that occurred. Based on the research results, there is an increase in the form of differences in the average results of students' pretest and posttest, so it can be concluded that the application of the Science Exploration Book can improve students' understanding of science concepts in Class VII on Earth and Solar System material with a low N-Gain Score category. Highlights: Key role of educators, methods, and materials in science concept understanding. Science Exploration Book enhances Class VII students' grasp of Earth and Solar System concepts. PENYIAPAN BAHAN AJAR BAHASA ARAB UNTUK PELAJARAN TAMBAHAN DALAM RANGKA MENINGKATKAN PENGEMBANGAN KETERAMPILAN BERBAHASA DI MA’HAD ALY NAMIRA LAMONGAN

Development of Arabic Language Learning books for additional lessons to improve language skills at Ma'had Aly Namira Lamongan. This thesis aims to prepare teaching materials to improve language skills in Arabic language learning activities at Ma'had Aly Namira. However, in this institution, the level of awareness students approach lessons differently, especially in Arabic; some are superior to others, some are average, and some need additional help outside of class. Research was carried out using a pre and post-test design. As for the research results, the preparation of additional books in Arabic language teaching at the Namira Higher Institute for additional studies was well-prepared by researchers because additional books went through a lot of design, arbitration, correction, modification, then field experience, and finally the final production, namely additional books. Additional books for developing four skills at Ma'had Aly Namira Lamongan are good because the student results after teaching the book are higher than before teaching them, and that is because the average student results in the pre-test are 67.8125%. In the post test, the percentage is 89.625%. Likewise, the number of "t counts" is greater than the number of "t tables", namely 9.156. Depending on the results obtained by students in the pre and post-tests, results (t-test), and questionnaire results, it was found that additional books were designed to develop four language skills at Namira Higher Institute. Lamongan is effective. This has a positive effect on the development of language skills.

Application of the ASICC Learning Model (Adapting, Searching, Interprenting, Creating, and Communicating) to Increase Physics Creativity

This research aims to improve students' physics creativity skills through the application of the ASICC learning model. This research is considered necessary because the results of the initial ability analysis of students through teacher and student respondents gave low results of 55 with less categories. This study is a class action research conducted as many as two cycles. Matter in the first cycle is sound waves and matter in the second cycle is light waves. This research was conducted at SMAN 1 Perhentian Raja Kampar regency, Riau province, with the research subjects of grade XI science students as many as 25 people, 10 men and 15 women. This step in research starts from the precycle stage (initial capability analysis), making learning tools and instruments, validating devices and instruments, actions, evaluation, and reflection. Assessment of student creativity is carried out every time the meeting is assessed by the teacher himself through the instrument of student creativity. The student work created is a simple work that can be completed in one meeting. The students' work is in the form of concept maps, poster designs, and data graphics. The average results of students' creativity skills obtained for cycle 1 to cycle 2 are, for cycle 1 with an average of 70.85 and cycle 2 with an average of 77.5. This increase can be seen from the change in the value of creativity for the same work in different cycles

The Effect of Problem Based Learning Models with Question Cards on Environmental Pollution Materials on Problem Solving Ability, Scientific Attitudes, and Student Learning Outcomes

Problem solving ability (PSA) is one of the skills that is the focus of the 21st century, besides that scientific attitudes and learning outcomes are also important components that must be possessed by students. This research aims to determine the effect of problem based learing (PBL) with question cards on environmental pollution on PSA, scientific attitudes, and student learning outcomes. The type of research used a quasi-experimental study using a nonequivalent pretest-posttest control group design. Sampling used a cluster random sampling technique. Data collection used PSA description questions, scientific attitude questionnaires, and multiple-choice test to measure the learning outcomes. Data analysis techniques used descriptive analysis, multivariate analysis of variance (Manova) test, and N-gain test. The average results of students in the experimental class were higher than those in the control class. The multivariate analysis of variance test results obtained a Sig. 0.000, and the N-gain test result in the experimental class obtained moderate criteria. Based on the results it is concluded that the PBL model with question cards have a significant effect

Pengaruh Model Pembelajaran MIKIR Berbasis Storytelling terhadap Keterampilan Berkolaborasi Siswa Kelas V

This study aims to determine the effect of using storytelling-based experience, interaction, communication, and reflection (thinking) learning models on the collaboration skills of fifth grade students in the Learning Studio, North Gombak, Malaysia. The category of this research is Pre-Experimental research using the One group Pretest design. t-Posttest Design. The sample of this study was the fifth grade students of the North Gombak Learning Studio, Malaysia, totaling 8 students. The data were collected using tests and observations. Meanwhile, the research data were analyzed descriptively and inferentially with the t test, based on the average posttest results obtained. the posttest average results of students' collaborative skills after the implementation of the storytelling-based thinking learning model was greater than the average pretest result before the implementation of the storytelling-based thinking learning model, the average pretest obtained before the implementation of the storytelling-based thinking learning model was 63.75 after being given activities with the treatment of the storytelling-based Thinking learning model so that the posttest average score was 85.00. It can be concluded that the form of storytelling-based Thinking learning that is applied to Indonesian language learning has an effect on the collaboration skills of class V students at the Learning Studio, North Gombak, Malaysia

Pengaruh Teknik Parafrase Terhadap Kemampuan Menulis Karya Ilmiah Siswa Kelas XI SMA Negeri 4 Binjai

This study aims to (1) explain the writing skills of class XI students at SMAN 4 Binjai before using the paraphrase technique, (2) explain the writing skills of class XI students at SMAN 4 Binjai after using the paraphrase technique, (3) describe the influence of paraphrasing techniques on the ability to write scientific papers at SMAN 4 Binjai. The method that used in this study is an experimental method with a one group pre-test post-test design. The population used in this study included all 170 students in class XI IPA at SMA Negeri 4 Binjai and the sample in this study was students in class XI IPA 1 with a total of 35 students. Data analysis techniques that researchers use to support this research are quantitative data by testing analysis requirements, homogeneity tests, and hypothesis testing. The results showed that the average results of students' paper writing skills before using the paraphrasing technique had a score of 53.97. For the average value obtained by students after using the paraphrasing technique, they obtained a score of 82.62 and belonged to the good category. Overall it can be concluded that teaching by using the paraphrasing technique has a positive effect on the ability to write scientific papers in class XI students of SMA Negeri 4 Binjai.

PROBLEM-BASED LEARNING: INCREASING NUMERICAL SKILLS AND STUDENTS LEARNING OUTCOMES ON REPRODUCTIVE MATERIALS AND SEXUALLY TRANSMITTED DISEASES (STD) AT SMP MUHAMMADIYAH

Learning in the 21st century requires the ability of students who are critically oriented, communicative, and innovative, as well as implementnumeration skills. Problem-Based Learningmodel combined with Lesson Study becomes one of the implementation ways to improve numeration skill. The facts show that numerical literacy skills remain low in Indonesia. Students in class IX F SMP Muhammadiyah 08 Batu frequently struggle with analyzing science material questions presented in the form of calculations and diagrams. This research aimed at discovering the students numeration skill based on their learning outcomes, particularly on the material of sexually transmitted diseases (STD). The research method used was exploratory descriptive, and the study was conducted at SMP Muhammadiyah 08, Batu City, Malang, during the odd semester period (2022/2023). 25 students of IX-F class were used as the object of this research, of which students were grouped into six groups. This research was based on the Lesson Study for Learning (LS-LC) stages of the plan, do, and see. Student Worksheets (LKPD) and teacher assessment rubrics served as the researchinstruments. The obtained data were analyzed descriptively, quantitatively, and qualitatively. This research indicates that by using the LS-based PBL model, there is an increase in the average student results in cycle one between the first and second meetings, namely 83.3 to 88.9. In cycle II, the first and second meetings present a significant increase in student learning outcomes, ranging from 82.6 to 95.8. Based on these findings, it is possible to conclude that the PBL learning model improves the students numerical literacy skills at SMP Muhammadiyah 08 Batu.

THE INFLUENCE OF THE APPLICATION OF THE THINK PAIR SHARE (TPS) COOPERATIVE LEARNING MODEL ON STUDENTS' REASONING ABILITY AND MATHEMATICAL ABSTRACT ABILITY

This study aims to determine how the effect applying the think pair share learning method has on the reasoning and mathematical abstraction abilities of class X students of SMA Negeri 9 Makassar. This study used a quantitative approach with the type of experimental research using a quasi-experimental research design with a non-equivalent control group design. The population in this study were all 290 class X students of SMAN 9 Makassar. The sample in this research was an experimental class of 36 people and a control class of 36 people. The instrument in this study was a test to measure reasoning abilities and mathematical abstraction in the form of a pretest and posttest. The data analysis technique used is descriptive statistical analysis and inferential statistical analysis, namely the multivariate analysis of variance (manova) test. The results of this study indicate that: (1) The average results of students' mathematical reasoning abilities in the experimental class and the control class increased. (2) The average results of students' mathematical abstraction abilities in the experimental class and the control class increased. (3) There is an influence of the TPS type cooperative learning model's application on the reasoning and mathematical abstraction abilities of SMA Negeri 9 Makassar class X students. (4) There is an effect of applying the TPS type cooperative learning model to the mathematical reasoning abilities of SMA Negeri 9 Makassar class X students. (5) There is an effect of applying the TPS type cooperative learning model to the mathematical abstraction abilities of SMA Negeri 9 Makassar class X students.

Pengembangan Video Pembelajaran Digital untuk Meningkatkan Kemampuan Berpikir Kritis

This research and development is motivated by learning during the covid19 pandemic. The learning media available at SD Negeri Dlisen 01 are still less interactive and do not take advantage of technological advances. To overcome this, it is necessary to develop a Digital Learning Video to Improve Critical Thinking Skills in Flat Shape Materials. The purpose of this development research is to describe the critical thinking skills of class IV flat-building material at SDN Dlisen 01, Limpung District which is feasible and valid, effective and practical. The benefits of developing digital learning media to improve critical thinking skills for Grade IV flat building materials at SDN Dlisen 01, Limpung District. This study uses the ADDIE development research model and design with 5 steps, namely analyzing (analyzing), designing (designing), developing (developing), implementing (implementing), and evaluating (evaluate). The results of student learning research proved valid with validity results (88 ,68%). Digital learning video media is effective for improving critical thinking skills of sig value. (2- tailed) of 0.000. This value is smaller than the significance level or <0.05. The results of the student questionnaire showed 84.5% stated that it was easy to use and easy to understand. The results of the field practitioner's questionnaire stated that 92.6% was very interesting and practical to use. The increase in critical thinking skills can be seen in the average results of students from 54 to 84.

Pengaruh Model Cooperatif Learning Tipe Jigsaw Terhadap Hasil Belajar Akidah Akhlak Siswa Kelas VII MTs Al-Khoiriyah Tapos Depok

In an effort to improve the quality of education, it is also necessary to have an update in the field of education. One of the efforts to improve the quality of learning is by updating relevance or teaching and learning model approaches. It is said to be good and relevant if a teaching model during the learning process has succeeded in delivering it to achieve an educational goal. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of cooperative learning or jigsaw type cooperative learning on the learning achievement of seventh grade students at MTs Al-Khoiriyah Tapos, Depok City. The method used in this study, entitled "The Influence of Cooperative Learning Models on Learning Outcomes of Moral Aqidah Students of Class VII MTs Al-Khoiriyah Tapos Depok" is a quantitative approach, the design that will be used in this study is pre-experimental (non-desings) where in This design is not yet a real experiment because there is an influence on the formation of the dependent variable originating from the participating external variables). From the results of hypothesis testing from the pretest and posttest, it shows that there are significant differences in learning outcomes of aqidah morals on reprehensible morals, riya and nifaq, which are significant between students who use the jigsaw type of cooperative learning model and students who use conventional learning. This can also be seen from the average results of students using the jigsaw type cooperative learning model, which is higher at 69.84 compared to students using conventional learning or before the implementation of learning with the jigsaw type cooperative learning model which is lower at 42.19. Based on the results that have been obtained, it can be seen that this jigsaw cooperative learning model has an effect on the learning outcomes of class VII students in the lessons of creed, morals, reprehensible morals, riya and nifaq.

PENGARUH METODE PEMBELAJARAN ENRICHMENT MODEL RENZULLI TERHADAP KEMAMPUAN BERPIKIR KRITIS PESERTA DIDIK DALAM PEMBELAJARAN SEJARAH KELAS XI IPS

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of Renzulli's Enrichment learning method on students' critical thinking skills in learning history of class XI IPS. This research was conducted at SMA N 1 Purbolinggo. The type of research used is quasi experiment. In this study the design (design) used is Nonequivalent Control Group Design. Conducting research, namely research preparation, test trials, pre-test treatment, learning activities, and post-test administration. The results of the study are as follows: (1) There is a difference in the average historical learning outcomes of students who use the Renzulli Model Enrichment Learning Method ( 𝐱𝟏 = 77.5294) is greater with a range value of 6.8529 than the average using the discussion method ̅𝐱𝟐 = 70.6765), (2) The average results of students' critical thinking skills in history learning using the Renzulli Model Enrichment Learning Method ( 𝐱𝟏 = 77.5294) is greater with a range value of 6.8529 than the average using the discussion method ̅𝐱𝟐 = 70.6765). Thus it can be concluded that the Renzulli Model Enrichment Learning Method has a significant influence on students' critical thinking skills in history learning.

Learning Model Course Choukai through Shadowing Technique

Shadowing is considered an effective way to improve listening, speaking and reading skills. This paper aims to develop a learning model choukai with shadowing techniques and to determine the effectiveness of using shadowing techniques on listening ability in choukai courses. Therefore, experimental research and data collection techniques using pre and post-tests were applied to the same group, consisting of 28 students. Then, the t-test was used to analyze the data. As a result, there was a significant difference between the pre-test and the post-test result, indicating that the Sig. (2-tailed) of 0.000 0.05, and a difference between the average student results before and after using shadowing techniques after treatmeant. In conclusion, developing of the learning model choukai using shadowing techniques on level IV students of the Japanese language education study program FKIP UHAMKA was feasible to be used by students in learning courses choukai.

PENERAPAN PEMBELAJARAN BERBASIS KEARIFAN LOKAL TERHADAP KETERAMPILAN PROSES SAINS SISWA

This study aims to see the effect of applying local wisdom-based learning on science process skills in class XI high school heat concept. The method in this study is an experimental method with the type of Pre-Experimental Design. This research belongs to the type of quantitative descriptive research with the research design of One-Group Pretest-Posttest Design. The research was conducted in the Odd Semester of the 2019/2020 Academic Year in class XIA students of SMA Negeri 1 Paguat with a total of 20 students. Based on the results of the research, it was found that the average results of students' science process skills when given a pre-test was 15.44 (very poor) and when given a post-test it was 92.01 (very good). The results of the N-Gain test analysis were obtained for indicators of observing, classifying, communicating, and drawing conclusions to get an average of 0.87 (high category). Based on the results of research that has been carried out by researchers and other researchers, it can be concluded that learning based on local wisdom affects the science process skills of class XI students of SMA Negeri 1 Paguwat in learning physics, especially on the concept of heat.

PENGARUH PENGGUNAAN LKM TRIGONOMETRI BERBASIS PENEMUAN TERBIMBING TERHADAP HASIL BELAJAR

The purpose of this study was to determine whether there was an effect of using Guided Discovery-based Trigonometry LKM on student learning outcomes in Trigonometry lectures even semester 2019/2020. This research is a quasi-experimental research with 8 students who teach trigonometry as a research subject. The design in this study used a one-group pretest-posttest design. The instrument used in this study was a test of learning outcomes consisting of pretest and posttest. The data analysis technique used was descriptive statistical analysis and inferential statistical analysis. The data were processed using SPSS 22. Based on the results of the descriptive analysis of student learning outcomes after the lecture using the Guided Discovery-based Trigonometry LKM was better than before using the Guided Discovery-based Trigonometry LKM. The average post-test learning outcome was 90.75 while the average learning outcome pretest of 28.75. As seen here there is an average increase of 62.00. While the results of inferential statistical analysis using the Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test obtained the value of Z count > Z table, namely -2.524 > -1.96, which means Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted. Meanwhile, based on the results of comparing the probability values, the Asymp value is obtained. Sig. (2-tailed) < the alpha value of 0.012 < 0.05 which means Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted. This means that there is a difference in the average results of students who use Guided Discovery-based Trigonometry LKM and students who do not use Guided Discovery-based Trigonometry LKM. That is, there is an effect of using Guided Discovery-based Trigonometry LKM on student learning outcomes.

Development Of Test Instruments To Measure High Order Thinking Skill (Hots) Mathematics Of Students In MTs 2 State Of Medan City

The test instrument given by the teacher to students has not required students to think at a high level in mathematics, the important thing is that students must be familiar with questions that require High Order Thinking Skill (HOTS) to compete with other countries which can be seen in the TIMSS and PISA scores. The purpose of this study was to determine the students' high-order mathematical thinking skills, as well as to determine the validity, reliability, difficulty level, and differentiating power of the High Order Thinking Skill (HOTS) oriented test instrument. This developmental research uses the ADDIE type.. There were 57 students who were used as subjects in this study. The results showed that 15 questions that were considered successful and valid were developed, this is the average score of the test instrument assessment by experts of 91% and the validity of each test item is declared "valid" because tcount ≥ ttable. The reliability of the test instrument for each package of questions was rated as reliable in the high category. In the analysis of the level of difficulty, it appears that the results are in the easy and medium categories. In the analysis of discriminatory power, it appears that the results are quite good and good. The average results of students' high-order mathematical thinking skills are insufficient category.
