PENGGUNAAN KERTAS ORIGAMI UNTUK MENINGKATKAN HASIL BELAJAR PADA MATERI BANGUN DATAR SISWA KELAS III SD

The study aims to determine the effectiveness of using origami paper in improving the learning achievement of grade III elementary school students. The research method used is classroom action research (CAR) which is carried out in two cycles. Data collection is carried out through observation sheets and comprehension tests. The results of the study found that although the average academic achievement of students in the "very good" category in cycle I with an average of 80.9, there were still 10 students who were not fully academically capable. After improvements were made in cycle II, the average score of students in the special category increased significantly to 93.1 with all students achieving completion. Based on the results of the study, it was concluded that the use of origami as a learning medium effectively improves the learning outcomes of Mathematics in flat geometry material for grade III students. Origami media can express abstract Mathematical concepts so that they are easier for students to understand. In addition, the use of origami supports increases student involvement and enthusiasm in learning.

The Religious Cognition: A Meta-Analysis Study of Indonesian Students' Religious Learning Achievement

The large number of published studies related to religious learning achievement in the cognitive domain certainly raises questions in the minds of research users, especially if the conclusions produced vary from one study to another. Therefore, to find out the average of students' religious learning achievement in Indonesia on the cognitive aspect, it is necessary to carry out a meta-analysis. The meta-analysis in this study aims to determine the average effect size of the aggregate Islamic learning achievement of students in Indonesia. This research uses a quantitative approach using meta-analysis. Research data was collected from various studies including journal articles, theses and student theses from 2009-2023 which were obtained through internet searches using the keyword Islamic learning achievement. The results of the research show that the average Islamic learning achievement of Indonesian students is 83.00 with a standard error of the weighted random model of 1.526 with a combined average score of 80.05 and an upper limit of 85.95. This shows that the ability/achievement in learning the Islamic religion of Indonesian students at the elementary to middle school levels has exceeded the minimum completeness, namely 75. Based on the Regression Method and Trim and Fill analysis, it was found that there was no publication bias. So the conclusions made based on the random effect model regarding the average cognitive abilities of students are valid.

Pengaruh Penggunaan Media Video Pembelajaran terhadap Hasil Belajar Siswa pada Mata Pelajaran PAI di SMPN 2 Ampek Angkek

This investigation was motivated by the low average academic achievement of Islamic Religious Education students at SMPN 2 Ampek Angkek. In the 2022/2023 academic year, the low midterm exam scores of students in class IX 1 of SMPN 2 Ampek Angkek provided empirical support for the statement. A total of 25 student responses were received for the exam; however, only five students achieved the minimum score of 75 required to complete SMPN 2 Ampek Angkek. A prospective approach to improving Islamic Religious Education learning outcomes at SMPN 2 Ampek Angkek is to incorporate video media into the established curriculum. This study aims to determine whether the application of video media affects the academic achievement of Islamic Education students at SMPN 2 Ampek Angkek. The purpose of this study is to determine whether or not there is an effect of the application of video media at SMPN 2 Ampek Angkek on PAI learning outcomes. The purpose of this study is to determine whether the adoption of video media has an impact on the academic achievement of PAI students at SMPN 2 Ampek Angkek. This research was categorised as a pseudo-experiment and used posttest control group design as the only research methodology. The student participants in this study were members of grade IX. In this investigation, purposive sampling, a type of non-probability sampling, was used. The experimental class in this study consisted of students of grade IX 3, while the control class consisted of students of grade IX 1. Data for this investigation was collected through assessment of students' progress in Islamic Religious Education. The Sig α value was ascertained to be 0.00 ± 0.05, based on the results of hypothesis testing conducted using SPSS software. Thus, it can be concluded that the utilisation of video media is able to influence the academic achievement of Islamic Religious Education students attending SMPN 2 Ampek Angkek.

Hybrid Learning Integrated Remote Laboratory: A Pedagogical Strategy for Future Practicum Learning

The hybrid learning integrated remote laboratory, an innovation in educational technology, is a practical and real-time solution that allows students to access and interact with laboratory equipment remotely via the internet network. This research aims to analyze the implementation and effectiveness of this model in an embedded systems practicum course. The study, conducted using a quasi-experimental method, involved 35 students in the experimental group and 36 in the control group. The learning model in the experimental group was implemented with a differentiated approach, allowing students to participate in face-to-face learning in the laboratory or attend online. The technology in this research was built with an interactive user interface in the form of an e-learning integrated remote laboratory application, providing online students with access to learning materials, discussion forums, assignments, chat, video conference, and an online microcontroller coding editor. The use of the online microcontroller coding editor empowers students to create programs and control physical equipment in the laboratory, such as Arduino modules, several sensors, and output devices, remotely and in real-time. Descriptive analysis and t-tests were used to analyze students’ comprehension of the embedded systems course. The test results showed a difference in the average academic achievement of students, with the learning outcomes of the experimental group students being higher than those of the control group. This model, therefore, demonstrates its impact on optimal and practical learning in the embedded system course.

Quantum Learning to Improve the Fourth Graders’ Science Achievement in An Elementary School

This study aims to increase the science learning achievement. The subjects of this study were 20 students of fourth grade students at Imogiri Elementary School, who used Quantum Learning model. The research design refers to the classroom action research which takes place in two cycles. Data collection through tests, observation and documentation. The data analysis techniques used are qualitative and quantitative descriptive techniques. At the natural syntax of Quantum Learning model, the teacher provides examples of real 3-dimensional models to students and the division into more heterogeneous groups. In the naming activity, the teacher explains the learning material using two languages, namely Indonesian and a foreign language. At the demonstrate syntax the teacher directs students to convey the results of their discussion in turn. The success criteria are if ≥ 75% of the total number of students get a score ≥ 75. This research shows the results of an increase in science learning achievement after using Quantum Learning. In cycle I the average student learning achievement was 73.25 then increased to 83.50 in cycle II. Based on this, it can be concluded that Quantum Learning can improve the science learning achievement of class IV students.

Pengaruh Asupan Vitamin terhadap Indeks Prestasi Semester (IPS) Mahasiswa Angkatan 2019 Fakultas Kedokteran Gigi Universitas Jember

Students have an obligation to be able to carry out activities and achieve optimally. Vitamins are important constituents of enzymatic systems that can support student learning activities. Learning achievement at university level is implemented in the form of the Semester Achievement Index. This study aims to analyze the effect of vitamin intake on the Semester Achievement Index of students class of 2019, Faculty of Dentistry, University of Jember. The population consisted of all students from the Faculty of Dentistry, University of Jember Class of 2019. The sample size that met the criteria was 104 students. Research procedures include direction, measuring height and weight, filling out nutritional intake measurement sheets, data conversion, and data input. Data analysis used ordinal regression to determine the effect of food intake on Semester Achievement Index. The average student Semester Achievement Index (IPS) is 3.30 which is included in the Very Satisfactory category. Vitamin intake simultaneously has a significant effect on the Semester Achievement Index (IPS). Analysis of the most dominant vitamin intake to increase the Semester Achievement Index of dental students class of 2019 can be seen through the odds ratio value, vitamin B1 has an odds ratio value of 6.754, B2, 1.930, and C 1.003. Vitamin intake has a significant effect on Semester Achievement Index (IPS). Vitamin B1 has the greatest influence on Semester Achievement Index followed by vitamins B2 and C. Consuming a higher intake of vitamins B1, B2 and C has the possibility of increasing students' Semester Achievement Index.

Excelling in Student Achievements (EXCELLA) Real-Time Based on Student Achievement Management Innovation Integrated with Blockchain Systems

Indonesia, which has significant human resources, needs better human resources. The efforts made by the government through the Independent Curriculum program, in fact, still need to be in line with expectations. Many students' potential has yet to be maximized, so innovation is needed to improve the quality of students through competitions and maximizing potential. This research aims to maximize students' potential and improve the quality of human resources in Indonesia. This type of research is qualitative, using quantitative research methods and t-test analysis. The research subjects were 60 students. The methods used to collect data are interviews, observations, and tests. The instrument used to collect data is test questions. Inference analysis was carried out using a Paired Sample T-Test. The Paired Sample T-Test results show a significant difference between the average achievement of students in the experimental group that uses the EXCELLA system and the control group that follows regular learning. The findings of this research have proven to have a positive impact on increasing student achievement and potential. This research implies that EXCELLA has excellent potential to become a practical learning innovation in improving the quality of Indonesian human resources. With continued support from the government and other stakeholders, EXCELLA can significantly create a superior and competitive future generation.

Increasing Student’s Learning Activity on Trigonometry Material through a Contextual-Based Group Investigation Learning Model

Mathematics is the least preferred and most difficult subject for most students, especially when it comes to trigonometry. This is reflected in student learning outcomes and students’ daily test results, which are always lower than other majors, and a maximum of 40% of students graduate. One of the causes is a lack of interest in teaching and learning in the classroom. Therefore, it is necessary to carry out learning activities with a learning model that is expected to make learning conditions or environments more comfortable for students. The process consists of two cycles using the group investigation learning model. At the end of the study, the following results were obtained: In Cycle I, the average student achievement was 31,6 percent; in Cycle II, it rose to 70,3 percent. Mastery of subjects also increased, which increased the average student achievement from 63,5% in cycle I to 64,9% in cycle II.

Effectiveness of the Teams Games Tournament (TGT) Cooperative Learning Method towards the Arabic Language Learning Achievement of Students at SMP Muhammadiyah 2 Kalasan

This study utilizes the cooperative learning strategy known as Teams Games Tournament (TGT) along with crossword puzzle games to enhance Arabic language acquisition at SMP Muhammadiyah 2 Kalasan. This study aimed to assess the efficacy of implementing the cooperative teams games tournament approach in enhancing students' academic performance. The research methodology employed is quantitative with a nonequivalent control group design. The study sampled two classes: experimental class 8e and control class 8d. The study employed a census sample, encompassing all pupils in each class, totaling 35 students. Data were gathered using observation techniques, interviews, and Pre Post Test assessments. The data collected using SPSS version 25 indicates that the independent sample t-test yielded a two-tailed significance value of 0.000, which is less than 0.05. Therefore, the null hypothesis (H0) is rejected, and the alternative hypothesis (Ha) is accepted. There is a considerable difference in average student learning achievement between using Teams Games Tournament cooperative learning and not using it. This method of learning facilitates quicker comprehension for pupils by engaging them in educational games relevant to the study topic.

Improving Statistics Learning Outcomes through a Differentiated Learning Approach for Students with Various Levels of Ability

Learning is a process of organizing, structuring the environment around students so that they can develop and encourage them to complete the learning process. The learning needs of students must always be the teacher's attention so that each learning process is carried out comfortably, happily and pleasantly, to be able to achieve and effectively implement the learning objectives to be achieved. Differentiated learning is an effort to adapt the learning process in the classroom to meet students' learning needs. Statistics allows students to understand and apply concepts relevant to data analysis, decision making, and problem solving in everyday life. A differentiation approach means providing assignments or activities with different levels of difficulty, providing additional reading materials or resources, and providing guidance or enrichment according to students' needs. Researchers found that the application of differentiated learning can help students to carry out learning activities more optimally. The aim of this research is to explain and evaluate the application of the learning differentiation approach in improving statistics learning outcomes for class VII students with various levels of ability. This research uses descriptive quantitative methods. The data collection methods for this research are observation, formative assessment and documentation. Data analysis uses simple statistical processing using the Sugiyono model. The results of this research show that there was an increase in the average achievement of students' learning objectives from pre-cycle by 71% to 80.65% in cycle I. In cycle II there was an increase in the average achievement of learning objectives by 88.71%. The differentiation learning approach can improve learning outcomes in statistics material in class VIIB UPT SMPN 14 Gresik with various levels of student ability.

Analysis of students' environmental literacy at senior high school 10 palembang on environmental pollution material

The global concern for environmental issues is widely discussed worldwide. Environmental literacy, encompassing concerns for the environment, is crucial to prevent human-induced environmental damage. Education plays a pivotal role in enhancing this literacy. This research aims to describe the environmental literacy abilities of students at Senior High School 10 Palembang, namely a school that is environmentally conscious regarding environmental pollution material. The research method is descriptive research and survey techniques. The research sample was 36 students of class XI Science. The sample used a purposive sampling technique. The research instrument includes 31 multiple-choice questions for knowledge and cognitive skills and 37 questionnaire statements for behavioral and affective indicators. Data analysis was carried out by calculating the average achievement of indicator students' environmental literacy scores in the form of percentages. Analysis revealed an overall environmental literacy percentage of 49.06% in the quite good category. However, specific indicators, notably knowledge (39.44%) and cognitive skills (29.52%) poor category. Behavioral indicators (60.94%) were quite a good category, and affective indicators stood (66.33%) good category, indicating room for improvement, especially in knowledge and cognitive skills. Teachers could enhance environmental literacy by employing innovative strategies, particularly in biology classes discussing environmental pollution.

Politics, Covid, and In-Person Instruction During the First Year of the Pandemic

In spring 2020, nearly every U.S. public school closed at the onset of the Covid-19 pandemic. Existing evidence suggests that local political partisanship was a better predictor of in-person instruction than Covid case and death rates in fall 2020. We replicate and extend these analyses using data collected over the entirety of the 2020–21 academic year. We affirm that local political partisanship was an important initial predictor of county-level in-person instruction rates. We also demonstrate that, under certain conditions, Covid case and death rates were meaningfully associated with initial rates of in-person instruction. We reveal that partisanship became less predictive—and prior average student achievement became more predictive—of in-person instruction as the school year continued. We then leverage data from two nationally representative surveys of Americans’ attitudes toward education and identify an as-yet-undiscussed factor that predicts in-person instruction: public support for increasing teachers’ salaries.

Singing Methods to Improve College Students' Arabic Vocabulary

This research is motivated by the inefficient use of Arabic learning methods, especially in memorizing mufrodat. Many students think that learning Arabic and memorizing mufrodat is difficult and unpleasant, resulting in a lack of interest in learning Arabic. This study has the main objectives of increasing: 1) the level of student learning activity during mufrodat learning; 2) achievement of mufrodat learning outcomes through the application of the singing method. This research was conducted at MIN 2 Purwakarta, Ciawi Village, Wanayasa District, Purwakarta Regency. The research subjects were grade 1 students at MIN 2 Purwakarta in the 2022/2023 school year, which consisted of 16 students. This research is a classroom action research with qualitative and quantitative analysis methods. Data collection techniques include interviews, observation, tests and documentation. The results of this study can be concluded that: 1) The application of the singing method can increase student learning activities, this is indicated by an increase in student activity presentation from 70% to 93%; 2) The application of the singing method can improve student learning outcomes regarding mufrodat baitii for class 1 students at MIN 2 Purwakarta, Ciawi Wanayasa Village, Purwakarta for the 2022/2023 academic year. This is indicated by an increase in learning completeness and the average student achievement during each cycle of actions implemented. 1) The application of the singing method can increase student learning activity, this is indicated by the increase in student activity presentation from 70% to 93%; 2) The application of the singing method can improve student learning outcomes regarding mufrodat baitii for class 1 students at MIN 2 Purwakarta, Ciawi Wanayasa Village, Purwakarta for the 2022/2023 academic year. Application of PjBL Learning Model and TPACK-Based Learning Media to Improve IPAS Learning Outcomes

The goal of this research is to define the stages involved in applying the model of ProjectBased Learning (PjBL) in order to improve student learning results, particularly in scientific topics.The goal of this research is to define the stages involved in applying the model of Project BasedLearning (PjBL) in order to improve student learning results, particularly in scientific topics. Datacollection techniques used test and non-test techniques. The data analysis methods employed includedescriptive, qualitative, and quantitative. The findings revealed that the adoption model of PjBL withthe 4C, HOTS, and TPACK techniques improved learning outcomes in grade 4 pupils at SDN 4Kenanga. This is demonstrated by the rise in average student achievement observed in cycle 2. Incycle 1, the average individual value of 60.6 with 20 participants (67 percent) in the incompletesection of KKM calculated is 70, indicating that student achievement have not improved. While incycle 2, there is an improvement in student achievement from an average value of 78 to as many as23 or (76 percent) pupils finishing.

ANALISIS HASIL BELAJAR MATEMATIKA SISWA KELAS VIII PADA MATERI BANGUN RUANG SISI DATAR

Student learning outcomes are a reference for educators to determine the success or failure of students in carrying out the learning process in class. This study aims to determine the factors that influence mathematics learning outcomes in the material of flat-sided geometric shapes at SMP Negeri 4 Gunungsitoli Idanoi. The subjects of this study were class VIII students with 26 students. The instruments used in the study were a test of 5 questions and interviews. The data analysis method used in this study is a quantitative descriptive method. Based on the data exposure, the researchers concluded that the average student learning achievement was 73.00. From the data on student learning outcomes test scores above, a standard deviation of 11.1 was obtained from 26 respondents. Students with moderate learning outcomes are 53.85%, with high learning outcomes are 26.92%, and students with very high learning outcomes are 3.85%, with a completeness percentage of 65.38%. Low learning outcomes can be seen from interviews with students that 69.23% of students need help understanding the material the teacher explains during the learning process. In addition, from the results of interviews with subject teachers, it was obtained that aspects that often affect student learning outcomes are internal aspects, including lack of student interest in learning, lack of ability to understand the material, lack of student memory, lack of student skills in arithmetic and aspects of External factors include the lack of attention and support from the family to return to the lessons given by the teacher at home.

THE UTILIZATION OF CONTEXTUAL TEACHING LEARNING TO ENHANCE STUDENTS’ ENGLISH LEARNING OUTCOMES: AN ACTION RESEARCH

The research on the fifth-grade students of SD Negeri 093 Sungai Abang Village was driven by the researchers’ desire to enhance students' learning outcomes, especially in the subject of English. The researcher's findings indicated that the average student achievement scores were still low, below the Minimum Mastery Criteria (KKM) set by the school. Out of a total of 12 students, only 2 students or 16.7% reached the KKM. As an alternative solution to this issue, the researcher conducted Classroom Action Research (CAR) by implementing the Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) method. The research was conducted in the second semester of the 2022/2023 academic year, involving 12 students. The data analysis results from Cycle I showed that the average class score had reached the KKM, with 9 out of 12 students (75%) reaching the KKM. Students' learning outcomes improved in Cycle II, where almost all students, 11 out of 12 (91.7%), reached the KKM. This research demonstrates that the use of CTL was appropriately applied in English language learning, particularly in the material taught in the higher grade levels as the subject of the research.

Teacher quality and cross-country differences in learning in francophone Sub-Saharan Africa

We study the effects of two dimensions of teacher quality, subject knowledge and didactic skills, on student learning in francophone Sub-Saharan Africa. We use data from an international large-scale assessment in 14 countries that include individual-level information on student achievement and country-level averages of teacher subject knowledge and teacher didactic skills in reading and math. Exploiting variation between subjects in a student fixed-effects model, we find that teacher subject knowledge has a large positive effect on student achievement, whereas the effect of teacher didactic skills is comparatively small but imprecisely estimated. Differences in teacher subject knowledge account for 37 percent of the variation in average student achievement across countries.

Pemanfaatan Media Video Pembelajaran Dalam Meningkatkan Prestasi Belajar Siswa PAK Siswa/I SDN158326 Bajamas 2 T.P.2023/2024

Research conducted to improve student achievement at PAK Denman applied the Discovery Learning model by utilizing video media. The subjects in this study were 1st grade students at SDN No 158326 Bajamas 2 Academic Year 2023/2024 as many as 7 people. The results of the study concluded that the application of the Discovery Learning model by utilizing well-designed and planned video media in accordance with the objectives to be achieved it is proven to be able to increase student achievement. After the action of Cycle I obtained results with a completeness percentage of 76.33%, after the action of Cycle II, the average student achievement was 82.04% or an increase of 5.71% compared to cycle I

IMPLEMENTATION OF FLIPBOOK LEARNING MEDIA TO IMPROVE MOTIVATION AND ACHIEVEMENT IN BIOLOGY LEARNING IN CLASS XII MIPA2 STUDENTS OF SMAN 1 KUTA SELATAN

This study aims to increase motivation and achievement in learning biology in class XII MIPA2 SMA Negeri 1 Kuta Selatan through the implementation of flipbook learning media. This research was conducted from 26 July 2022 to 8 October 2022, with research subjects being class XII MIPA2. The object of this research is the motivation and achievement in studying biology. Student motivation data was collected through questionnaires and learning achievement data collected through learning achievement tests arranged in the form of objective tests. The data that has been collected, then analyzed descriptively. The results of this study indicate that there is an increase in student motivation and achievement through the implementation of flipbook learning media. good category. The average student achievement in the first cycle was 65.57 in the sufficient category and 51.43% student completeness, while in the second cycle the average student achievement was 79.71 in the good category and 88.57% student completeness.

COOPERATIVE LEARNING TYPE TEAMS GAMES TOURNAMENT ON RESPIRATORY SYSTEM LESSON TO INCREASE THE STUDENTS LEARNING ACTIVENESS

This study aimed to determine implementation of cooperative learning of the Teams Games Tournament type on respiratory system lesson to the students learning activeness of class XI MIPA 2 SMA Negeri 1 Kuta Utara. The type of this research was classroom action research. The dependent research variable was learning activeness using an observation sheet in the form of a questionnaire. The data were analysed using quantitative descriptive data analysis with proportions. The results of this study indicated that in the implementation of the first cycle, the average achievement of student activeness was 63.48%. During the implementation of cycle II, the average student activeness achievement increased by 19.41% from cycle I to 82.89%. In cycle II, 38 students got very active and 7 students got active. Thus, it could be interpreted that applying the cooperative learning model of the Teams Games Tournament (TGT) type could increase student learning activeness in class XI MIPA 2 SMA Negeri 1 Kuta Utara especially on respiratory system lesson.
