Clean and Healthy Living Behavior (PHBS) in schools is an effort to provide opportunities for students and teachers to know, want and be able to practice PHBS and actively participate in realizing healthy schools. This study aims to determine the factors related to PHBS in students of SD Inpres Pukdale, East Kupang District, Kupang Regency. This type of research is an analytical survey with a cross sectional design. The population in this study was female students SD Inpres Pukdale, East Kupang District, Kupang Regency with a total of 83 respondents. The sampling technique used is simple random sampling with a sample size of 45 respondents. The research instrument is in the form of a questionnaire. Data analysis using Chi square test with 95% confidence level (α = 0.05). The results showed that there was a relationship between knowledge variables (p-value = 0.019), attitude (p-value = 0.046), parental role (p-value = 0.070) and availability of infrastructure facilities (p-value=0.013) against PHBS actions. This study recommends that health workers provide education related to PHBS indicators in schools. Social support from parents and the school is also very necessary.

Pilgrimage tourism in Uttarakhand Himalaya: Pilgrims’ inflows and trends

This article aims to describe pilgrimage tourism in the Uttarakhand Himalaya: pilgrims’ inflows and trends. Pilgrimages – highlands and valleys are the main centers of spiritual tourism in the Uttarakhand Himalaya. Data on pilgrims’ inflow in the major pilgrimage centers from 2000 to 2018 were gathered from the Uttarakhand Tourism Development Board, Dehradun. The pilgrims from Indian subcontinents and abroad have been visiting the pilgrimage centers for time immemorial. Inflows of pilgrims in the pilgrimage centers vary from the river valley pilgrimages to the highland pilgrimages. Haridwar, a valley pilgrimage, receives the highest inflow of pilgrims, which is more than 50% of the total pilgrims’ inflows. Meanwhile, Yamunotri, a highland pilgrimage has the lowest inflow of pilgrims from within and outside countries. The main reason for the change in the number of pilgrims in these highland and valley pilgrimages was the availability of infrastructural facilities in the form of transportation and accommodation. In terms of the trends of pilgrims’ inflows during the period, it is not uniform. The state of Uttarakhand is highly vulnerable to climate-induced calamities, which are highly catastrophic, and leads to land degradation and roadblocks. The pilgrimage season in the Himalaya falls during the monsoon season when happy rainfall occurs. High rainfall variability has led to changing the number of pilgrims. This study reveals that pilgrimage tourism has immense potential for the economic development of the Uttarakhand Himalaya if suitable tourism infrastructural facilities are provided.

Dukungan Kader dan Ibu Balita Terhadap Kegiatan Pelayanan Posyandu Balita di Kelurahan Liliba Kota Kupang

Posyandu is a form of Community-Based Health Efforts. Posyandu for toddlers is a priority posyandu for mothers and children, especially toddlers. Community support for Posyandu activities in the working area of the Oepoi Health Center, especially in the Liliba Subdistrict, seems to have decreased as seen from the failure to achieve the target number of children under five being weighed. In addition, the availability of infrastructure facilities at Posyandu is incomplete, such as a lack of tables and chairs, so it is hoped that the people of the Liliba Village will support government programs in public health services. The purpose of this study was to find out the forms of community support for toddler posyandu service activities in the Liliba Village, Kupang City. The type of research used is qualitative with a narrative approach. There were twenty-three informants consisting of the head of the Oepoi Health Center, health workers at Pustu Liliba, Cadre, Mother Toddler and Lurah Liliba. The results showed that the form of community support for toddler posyandu service activities was emotional, informational support such as providing information related to posyandu opening days through WhatsApp group media, home visits, instrumental such as labor, time, cost and assessment such as the community assessing toddler posyandu activities in Liliba Village. goes well. It can be concluded that the implementation of Posyandu Balita service activities in the Liliba Village is going well according to the flow so that the people of the Liliba Village continue to maintain active posyandu visits and the community always provides support.

Literature Review: Outpatient Satisfaction at Health Center During the Covid-19 Pandemic

Background: Satisfaction with various services is determined by the extent to which service providers provide the best for their consumers, including health service providers at the puskesmas. Puskesmas as a first-level health facility should provide satisfactory services for visitors. Satisfactory service can lead to loyalty to visitors, thereby reducing the use of illegal health services that can endanger health. During this Covid-19 pandemic, various puskesmas services have differed in several procedures due to adjustments to the Covid-19 pandemic policy. This difference in service procedures is thought to have an effect on patient satisfaction. Objectives: This journal has the aim of knowing the outpatient satisfaction at the health Center during the Covid-19 pandemic. Methods: The procedure for this research uses a literature review approach using the PRISMA flowchart. Collection of references through several online databases, namely Google Schoolar, ScienceDirect, Proquest, Wiley Online, Sage Publication and Media Neliti. The keywords used in the search were Satisfaction, Outpatient Patients, Puskesmas and Covid-19 Pandemic. Results: The results showed that the results varied with positive and negative responses regarding the loyalty of outpatients during the Covid-19 pandemic which was influenced by considerations of the suitability of the perception of the application of technical control, the perception of the application of administrative control, the perception of the application of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment). Another thing is information about the availability of infrastructure facilities, attitudes of health workers, knowledge and referrals with patient perceptions that affect age and education level. Conclusions: Outpatient satisfaction at the puskesmas during the Covid-19 pandemic was relatively good, but there were several influencing factors including the application of personal protective equipment (PPE), administrative control, technical control, information on the availability of infrastructure, attitudes of health workers, knowledge and referrals with the patient's perception that affects age and education level.

Quality Education from Teachers’ Perspective

Quality in education is a process that involves imparting knowledge, skills and production of capabilities, an essential component that determines the character and pace of social and economic development of any nation (Psacharopoulos & Woodhall, 1985). A small qualitative study was conducted in Delhi to understand the perceptions of teachers (n=20) from both private and government schools about different factors that affect the quality of education in schools. The teachers were selected through purposive and snowball sampling. The objectives of the study were to explore teachers’ views on the availability of infrastructural facilities, the impact of staffing on quality of education, relationship between class size and classroom transactions as well as their views on parental involvement in facilitating quality education. Semi-structured, in-depth interviews were used to interact with the teachers. The responses were subjected to content analysis. Verbatim responses were used to exemplify the challenges faced by the teachers. The key findings highlighted the teachers’ perceptions on understanding the meaning of quality in education and importance of in-service programmes and seminars that help to improve the teaching-learning process. The results emphasised on the importance of involvement of all the three stakeholders of education- teachers, parents and students to make the education system work in harmony. Hence, improving the current quality of education in schools requires availability and provision of guidance for using technological devices for teachers and students to facilitate adaptions in the teaching styles and make the learning process interesting and motivating for children.

Assessment of the Implementation of Universal Basic Education Programme in Rivers State

This study investigated the implementation of Universal Basic Education (UBE) programme in Rivers State. Descriptive survey research design was employed for the study. Three research questions and three null hypotheses were formulated to guide the study. The population of the study comprise 8182 teachers in Rivers State UBE. The stratified simple random sampling technique was used to draw 400 male and female teachers for the study, using Taro Yamane formula to determine the sample size. Data was collected using a self-structured questionnaire titled “Assessment of the Implementation of the Universal Basic Education Programme (AIUBEP) and validated by experts in measurement and evaluation. The corrections and contributions made by experts were built into the final draft of the questionnaire. 0.75 was obtained as a measure of internal consistency using Cronbach Alpha Statistical technique. Data were analysed using mean and standard deviation to answer the research questions while independent t-test was used to test the hypotheses at 5% probability level. The results showed that availability of infrastructural facilities, number of qualified teachers and free and compulsory education significantly influence the effective implementation of the UBE programme in Rivers State. Based on the above submissions, adequate infrastructural facilities, employment of teachers with requisite educational qualification and provision of fund to enhance free and compulsory education amongst other influence the effective implementation of the UBE programme in Rivers State.

This study discusses the Tentara Nasional Indonesia-TNI and Kepolisian Republik Indonesia-Polri (Indonesian National Army- Police of the Republic of Indonesia) Cooperation strategy and the Jakarta Provincial Government in accelerating handling of COVID-19. This Study using the theory of Organizational Resources from George R. Terry. The aim is to describe Cooperation regulations, activity methods, readiness of human resources and the availability of infrastructure facilities in accelerating the handling of COVID-19. The method used is an observational case studies method with both quantitative and qualitative approaches (mix method) and uses SWOT and AHP for analysis. As a result, the first strategy is to create cooperation policy regulations, the second strategy is to increase public awareness of implementing Health protocols, the third strategy is to create superior human resources, and the fourth strategy is to realize the readiness of facilities and infrastructure.

Students’ Perceptions towards Motivational and De-motivational Factors for Health and Physical Education

Health and physical education helps a person to promote health status and prevent him or her from diseases in life. National Education System Plan (2071) recommended health and physical education as an obligatory subject in the schools’ curriculum, but at present it is an optional subject at the secondary level. In this context, this study aims to explore the students’ perception towards motivational and de-motivational factors of health and physical education for teacher education. To accomplish the objectives of the study, phenomenological research design under qualitative inquiry was applied. The data were collected through unstructured interview with the B.Ed. students of the constituent campuses under the public university. The informants were selected purposively. Decreasing of students in health and physical education for teacher education was the problem of this study. The results showed that the main motivational and de-motivational factors regarding health and physical education are: existing curriculum, teachers' competencies, pedagogies applied in teaching-learning activities, availability of infrastructure facilities, employability after completion of the study, public recognition and evaluation practices. This implies that students, teachers and policymakers should work together to reform the subject's sustainability and recognition.

Analysis of the leading fisheries sector in the minapolitan area of Pangkep Regency, South Sulawesi Province

The purpose of this study was to determine the existing condition of the minapolitan area in Pangkep district and to determine the leading sector of capture fisheries and aquaculture commodities in the minapolitan area of Pangkep District, South Sulawesi Province. Data collection techniques were carried out using observation, interviews using questionnaires and documentation. The type of data collected is primary data, namely observation data regarding facilities supporting fishery activities in the Minapolitan area, interview data for respondents from fisheries business actors or fisheries households regarding fishery activities and demographics, then secondary data from agencies related to the production of fishery commodities in Pangkep Regency. And South Sulawesi. This research was conducted in the minapolitan area of Pangkep Regency, South Sulawesi Province, in February – April 2021. The results showed that the existing condition in the availability of infrastructure facilities in the minapolitan area in the mainland area of Pangkep Regency, especially at the level of availability of facilities, was categorized as medium. Supporting facilities for fishery activities are at an availability level of 61.6 per cent because many are abandoned due to not being able to optimize their operations. The leading fishery commodities in the Minapolitan area that have the export potential are Tilapia, Patin, Cottonii seaweed and Milkfish. Fishery commodities that have the potential to meet local market demand are Vanamei Shrimp and Windu Shrimp. Fishery commodities that are not superior are Gracillaria Seaweed, Carp, Catfish and Crayfish.

This study uses qualitative research. The results of this study show that the process of internalizing Islamic religious values through extracurricular activities of Islamic spirituality uses two ways, namely direct and indirect. The supporting factor is that most of the students come from religious families and educated families and the availability of infrastructure facilities

Determinants of Private Investment Growth in Manufacturing Sectors: The Case of Akaki Kaliti Sub City, Addis Ababa

Private manufacturing investment contributes to the economic growth and the ability of a country to reduce or alleviate poverty and improve the lives of its citizens. This study was conducted to identify the determinants of Private Investment Growth in manufacturing sectors in case of Akaki Kaliti Sub-city, Addis Ababa. The study employed an explanatory research design with quantitative and qualitative research approaches. Furthermore, the data was collected with a cross-sectional period. The required data were collected from 168 selected private manufacturing investments by adopting a systematic sampling technique. The data collected through a questionnaire were analyzed by using Stata software version 13. The collected data was analyzed using both descriptive and inferential statistics. The findings of the quantitative data were presented in tables and figures, while the qualitative data was presented in narration. The findings of the study showed that work experience and availability of premises affect the private manufacturing sectors investment growth positively. Likewise, the availability of infrastructure facilities was important determining factors in delaying private investment growth. Shortages of materials and services such as transformers, internet facilities, and water supplies have been cited as the major obstacles which delay the investment growth in the study area. In conclusion, the main determinant of Private Investment Growth in manufacturing sectors were working experience, premises, infrastructure, location of enterprise, planning, good governance, market access, and investment incentives. Therefore, the study recommends that Addis Ababa city administration in collaboration with other stakeholders should give training to private manufacturing sectors and facilitate knowledge share program among each other. Likewise, Addis Ababa city administration in collaboration with trade and industry office needs to involve effectively in supporting private manufacturing sectors by offering convenient display room, selling premises, and creating market linkage with unions, cooperatives, government organizations, and non-government organizations. The article shows that the crisis caused by the COVID-19 pandemic has not lead to the emergence of fundamentally new patterns of spatial development, but has escalated its old problems. Thus, the importance of the largest cities in the country’s economy has not decreased at all. On the contrary, their traditional advantages have revealed, including those connected with an increased level of education of residents. But at the same time, the most important problem of the largest cities has also aggravated, and cannot be ignored — that is strong social stratification of citizens. The development of remote employment, the scale of which will obviously be greater than pre-crisis, may lead to changes in the settlement system within urban agglomerations, but not beyond them. This is due to the potential dominance of not completely remote, but combined employment, which is necessary to ensure the transfer of implicit knowledge. But even within urban agglomerations, the possible scale of changing permanent residence due to a number of factors (climate, features of the housing stock, availability of infrastructure facilities) is very limited, the most important will be an increase in the duration of stay in dachas. This will further aggravate the existing complex of problems associated with the extremely weak consideration of the actual life of people on two houses in the activities of the authorities.

Determinants of FDI in the computer software and hardware sector in India

India’s has been a success story in the IT industry and the world has been recognising it and showing interest in investing in the computer software and hardware sector. The paper attempts to analyse the determinants of FDI in the computer software and hardware sector and to figure out the reasons for the locational preferences of the foreign investors. For this purpose, the states of India which are recipients of highest FDI inflows in the sector are studied with a view to determine the reasons for their attractiveness as investment destinations. The extent and availability of infrastructure facilities which are important to this industry and the presence of skilled workers which is a prerequisite to this industry are examined. The study finds evidence to support the preposition that presence of the required infrastructure and skilled labour which are crucial to this sector encourages foreign investors to put in their money in the locations where these are available.

IDENTITAS MODERN BERBUDAYA PADA KAWASAN PUSAT PERTOKOAN DI KOTA MAUMERE

The city of Maumere is a city of pride for past, present and future generations. This is supported by the existence of 3 main gates for the entry and exit of goods and services on the mainland of Flores, all of which lead to the city center, causing social and economic impacts, namely the emergence of a tendency for people with very high consumerism characteristics and the need for space for economic activity. This study aims to examine the shopping area as a representative and identified area that can accommodate the economic activities of the people in Maumere City. The research method used is based on qualitative descriptive, namely examining the socio-culture of the community with various economic activities that trigger the growth of the commercial sector with its supporting facilities. The combination of qualitative and quantitative data can assist in conducting descriptive analysis. The results show that the shopping area of Maumere City requires the support of commercial buildings that meet the standards as a forum for economic activity with a modern, cultured image so that it can answer these economic and socio-cultural needs. Along with the increasing needs for life and business premises, the shopping area needs to be reorganized into a representative trading center for the city of Maumere, including the facades of buildings that are united with the availability of infrastructure facilities and infrastructure, including circulation space and green open spaces of quality and beautifully arranged, comfortable. and modern cultured for all societies.

Madrasah Head Policy in Improving the Quality of Teacher Profession

This study examines the policies of Islamic elementary school heads in improving the quality of the profession of Islamic elementary school teacher. The focus of the discussion on this research is how the teacher's profession is, how to improve the quality of the teacher profession, how to evaluate in improving the quality of the teacher profession. This research uses a qualitative approach with field study methods. The results of this study show that the policy of the head of Islamic elementary school in improving the quality of the teacher profession in MI Ma'arif Saman Bangunharjo Sewon Bantul Yogyakarta as follows: 1) Make himself (Islamic elementary school head) as an example. 2) Include Training, Training or Workshop. 3) Activate Teachers In Professional Organizations. 4) Conduct Class Action Research (PTK). 5) Supports improving teacher qualifications. 6) Follow The Latest News. And In order to conduct supervision to improve the professional competence of teachers, there are several things that need to be done by the head including 1) Making a visit to the classroom. 2) Monitor extracurricular activities. 3) Conduct administrative examination of Teaching Learning Activities (KBM). 4) Give a direct reprimand. The supporting factor in improving the quality of the teacher profession is the first of the seriousness of the madrassa head to the main capital as well as his commitment to improving the quality of Islamic elementary school. Both enthusiasm teachers to make improvements from the problems that arise in order to improve the quality of their profession. While the inhibitory factor in improving the quality of the teacher profession is the availability of infrastructure facilities that are still minimal.

Content analysis of social and economic issues in Indonesia during the COVID-19 pandemic

The study of mass communication is based on the assumption that the media plays a significant role in spreading messages about various aspects of life to the public. The frequency of published news is an indicator of the various levels of a problem. The more attention paid by a newspaper to the community, the more valuable it is in reporting problems. Currently, news related to the COVID-19 outbreak is most popular. The media has been reporting not only on health but also on social and economic issues during the pandemic. The questions of this research are (1) what social issues were reported in the online news media during the early days of the COVID-19 pandemic, and (2) what economic issues were reported in the online news media during the same period. This study aims to identify the content of news when conveying COVID-19 pandemic information based on the frequency of appearance and news content based on social and economic issues in online news. This is a descriptive quantitative study using a content analysis approach to obtain primary data from 6,376 online news articles published by Antara News from 28 February to 8 April 2020. The NVivo 12 tool was used to analyse the data by dividing the types of COVID-19 issues related to social and economic issues in the news (in the form of text, images, videos and graphics) as an analysis unit. The results showed that Antara News used text, photos, videos and graphics 1,847 times for social issues and 2,701 times for economic issues related to COVID-19. The social issues involved 20 themes. Some of the important ones included regulations, social funds and charities, the humanities, the availability of infrastructure facilities, education, instruction and appeal, and culture and religion. Meanwhile, the economic issues involved 52 themes. Some of the important ones included exchange rates; transportation; the oil, natural gas and electricity industries; social funds and charities; regulation and policy; agriculture; and the tourism industry. The topics are related to social distancing, social restrictions, social actions, culture, other problems associated with the social sector (a decline in community purchasing power, consumption and dismissal) and the real and massive impact on economic growth. COVID-19 is not only a global health crisis but also a major labour market and economic crisis that has had a significant impact on society. In conclusion, a broader study is recommended using several publication periods and online media.
