A simple photometric device for the quantitation of silver grains in autoradiographs of tissue sections

A photometric device for the quantitation of silver grains in autoradiographs is described. This is simple in construction and operation. With it, it is possible to obtain a rapid and accurate estimate of the number of silver grains in an area of emulsion, in the presence of a stained histological section.
