Application of Laser Scanning Technology in Digital Method

In order to improve the efficiency and accuracy of retrieval and mining of highway operation management information, a digital method research and application method based on laser scanning technology is proposed. Combined with the data storage and backup requirements of highway toll collection system, such as large amount of information, high reliability, easy management, and easy management, a complete design scheme of optical storage backup chip based on programmable logic array FPAG technology is proposed. The function, design, and simulation implementation of the write strategy subsystem and the laser power automatic control subsystem of the optical storage backup chip system are emphatically introduced. Through a lot of simulation tests, the scheme is reasonable and feasible, and its performance is stable and reliable.

Model Predictive Control of Positional Tracking Electromechanical Systems

The paper presents the results of synthesis of motion controllers of positional tracking and positional trajectory electromechanical control systems that provide generation of optimal finite control of a mechanism’s working parts taking into account unpredictability of temporal task changes given by the operator or external automatic control subsystem. The paper proposes an approach to the synthesis of microprocessor motion controllers based on the application of the methodology of model forecasting and finite control. Unlike known solutions, the proposed approach does not require a program temporal prescription of motion parameters (position, velocity, acceleration, and, in the general case, jerk) and prescription of multiple temporal parameters. This significantly simplifies parametrization of controllers, being a factor of their intellectualization and allowing limiting only the phase variables and minimally acceptable period of discrete control. It is shown that such motion controllers can also provide partial invariance of electromechanical systems to variation in external excitations. The functional structures of the positioning and tracking system and of the motion controller are presented. Simulation results that confirm the efficiency of the proposed approach are demonstrated.

Near-Field Testing System for Antennas Operating in Short Millimeter Waveband

A design is suggested for testing equipment of antennas operating in short millimeter waveband (SMW, f= 60...300nGHz). Testing is based on amplitude and phase measurements over a plane in the near field of the antenna under test. Design solutions are offered for critical subsystems, including the mechanical scanner, the radio-measurement subsystem and the automatic control subsystem. The approach should allow near-field testing of SMW antennas to achieve high accuracies comparable to those of similar testing of centimeter waveband antennas.

Quality Evaluation and Quality Control of Botanicals and Traditional Chinese Medicine

This presentation will introduce a systemic strategy and relative technologies for the quality evaluation of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), including the identification and differentiation of botanicals and also the quality standard of TCM products. The emphasis will focus on the quality control of manufacture of TCM products, especially to introduce an application of NIRS online analytical technique and quality-based control system into the extraction procedure of TCM. The system hardware was composed of the extraction equipment, the online sample pre-treatment subsystem, the NIRS subsystem, the online NIRS analysis and intelligent control subsystem, and the automatic control subsystem. A diagram of the system is shown in Fig. 1. The whole system includes cooperative-working hardware and software components. The extraction process of TCM was analyzed using online NIRS, and the results demonstrated that NIRS was feasible to be applied to online monitoring and controlling in the manufacturing of TCM. Based on the online NIRS analysis technology, the real-time monitoring of the effective components or indicative components in the extraction procedure, the analysis of the extraction ratios, the diagnosis of the extraction procedure, and the real-time feedback control based on the quality status were actualized.
