Al-Suʾālat (The Questions) is the book in which the Muhaddith records the answers of one of the imams of hadith to the issues he was asked about in the science of hadith. This research delves into the fascinating realm of scholarly exchange within the science of hadith. Just as Abu Dawud posed questions to Imam Ahmad and Al-Hakim sought answers from Al-Daraqutni, "The Questions" focuses on the queries of Imam Muhammad ibn Isa al-Tirmidhi to his esteemed mentor, Abu Zur’a. These inquiries, embedded within the fabric of their scholarly discourse, are captured in this study. The research presents six questions, with five pertaining to the authenticity of hadiths and one centered around a specific narrator. The primary objective is to shed light on these questions and provide insights into Imam Abu Zur’a's responses. Employing a research and analysis methodology, the study culminates in a comprehensive account of the answers offered by Imam Abu Zur’a to Imam Al-Tirmidhi's inquiries.
