CASES of granuloma of the larynx following intubation have been reported in the literature. The case presented here is the second one to be reported in which recovery was spontaneous, and it seems to be the first reported case in which spontaneous recovery occurred in a patient with bilateral granuloma. REPORT OF CASE In the first part of December, 1951, Mrs. A. E. G., aged 29 years 8 months, was in an automobile accident in which she received lacerations of the lower part of the face. Dr. Charles P. Yarn, the attending plastic surgeon, stated that the repair was done with the aid of combined intravenous and inhalation anesthesia, the latter administered through an endotracheal tube passed through the nose.
