The Implementation of the Project Based Learning (PjBL) Model in the Era of Independent Learning in Indonesian Language and Literature Development Courses

The aim of this research is to determine the implementation of the PjBL model in the era of independent learning in the Indonesian Language and Literature Development course. The PjBL model used focuses on product creation and involves students directly in the learning process. This research uses a qualitative descriptive research method. This research was carried out in the even semester of FY 2022-2023. The subjects in this research were 24 semester 6-V students of PGSD UMN Al Washliyah who were taking the Indonesian Language and Literature Development course. The data collection instruments used were observation sheets, questionnaires and student project assignments. The research results show that 91.6 % of the PjBL models used by lecturers during the teaching and learning process have succeeded in making students active, creative and innovative in understanding the material and producing products. This can also be seen from the results of the learning products of the Indonesian Language and Literature Development course, namely that students were able to produce an Anthology of Children's Stories which can be used as a medium or learning resource for Indonesian language subjects in elementary schools.

Strategy of Project Based Learning (PJBL) Based on Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) in Growing Active and Creative Students

The pandemic forced student learning to change, study at home, many new problems were encountered, one of which was a decrease in student activity and creativity. On the other hand, education in the 21st century must be able to facilitate students who are active and creative, adapting to changes in all situations. The aim of this study is to describe the integration of Project Based Learning based on science, technology, eigeneering and mathematics and its success in increasing creative active students. The method used qualitative case study comes from secondary and primary data, observation, documentation, interviews, and triangulation. The results of the study show that the integration of learning goes through the following stages: Pre-Learning Stage, teachers of several subjects collaboratively prepare various tools relevant to the theme; In the implementation phase, students are given the responsibility of completing a project in several weeks. The first week classifies project assignments, divides into groups, provides material, understands worksheets, listens to video links. Worksheet filling, and procurement of materials. The second week is product creation, the third week is completing work sheets, editing videos, making power points, and sending the results to the link. The fourth week is product improvement, the fifth week is the trial, and the sixth week is the work title; In the post-learning stage, evaluation is carried out, and follow-up, reports, dissemination of subject collaboration teams. Its success has increased students' enthusiastic learning attitudes, student creativity, learning enjoyment, competency improvement, and student project products. Project Based Learning Model on Basic Competencies of Light Vehicle Front Suspension System Maintenance at SMK

Vocational High School (SMK) is an educational institution that offers learning to acquire specific skills. After students graduate from school, they must be able to interact effectively and professionally and have competence. Project-based learning is applied to increase student involvement in order to achieve competence. The approach used in this study is a descriptive qualitative method to describe what PjBL is. Qualitative research aims to understand social phenomena through student involvement in the learning process. Techniques for collecting data include surveys, project assignments, student observations of the learning process to have a positive impact i.e. students become competent. The results of the research were from 10 groups of students, 8 groups were competent, 1 was quite competent, and 1 was very competent. Other research shows how using PjBL in the classroom can help students become more committed.

UPAYA PENINGKATAN PERFORMANSI SISWA MELALUI METODE TUGAS PROYEK PEMBUATAN DONGKRAK HIDROLIS SEDERHANA MATERI PENERAPAN KONSEP TEKANAN ZAT PADA SISWA KELAS VIII-F TP. 2022/2023

Substance Pressure is a difficult material for most of the 8F students. They complained about how to understand and apply the concept in daily life. They liked social science than natural science. They prefered to memorize to calculate. Some students seldom submitted their assignments. Even at the end of odd semester there were three students who did not submit their assignments. Based on the problem, we tried to do a research entitled Upaya Peningkatan Performansi Siswa melalui Metode Tugas Proyek Pembuatan Dongkrak Hidrolis Sederhana pada Materi Penerapan Konsep Tekanan Zat di Kelas VIII-F TP. 2022/2023 (The effort of increasing students performances using the method of project assignment on the making of simple hydraulic jack on the substance pressure concept material at 8F class of MTs N 1 Lamongan 2022/2023 academic year. The class action research was conducted at 8F students of MTs N 1 Lamongan on the 20th February until 11Th March 2023. The subject of this research was the students of 8F class at MTs N 1 Lamongan 2022/2023 academic year. The total number of the students at 8F class is 29 students. The collecting data technique in this research was conducted by using pre test, post test and observation on the teaching learning process. the data of the evaluation test and the observation done by the observer (collaborator) indicated that there was a significant increase on the result of the test and the teaching learning activity done by the researcher. The research used teaching learning based project. In the teaching learning based project, the students were expected to be able to decide the schedules and create products. The class action research was conducted in two cycles. Based on the result of the test in cycle 1 and 2, it indicated that there was significant increase on the score as much as 10.2 each student.

Validity of Real Picture Analysis (RPA) Based Student Worksheet to Improve Junior High School Students' Critical Thinking Skills

The science learning process in junior high school has now been encouraged to give teachers more freedom in developing learning and is more flexible. Teachers need Student Worksheet which can facilitate the learning process with more flexibility regarding the material, both for material with a lot of theoretical reading and material. assignment of experimental projects and problem solving. Student Worksheet will be more optimal if it is developed with an approach that involves students thinking through Real Picture Analysis (RPA) so that students are able to generate learning motivation and enliven an interactive classroom atmosphere. RPA is an activity for students to determine interpretations and provide assessments through image media in the form of photography of science events in their environment. The aim of this research is to examine RPA-based Student Worksheet to improve junior high school students' critical thinking skills with validity. The type of research used is Research and Development research. This research and development methodology is closely related to RPA-based Student Worksheet to improve students' critical thinking skills. Validation activities through Focus Group Discussion (FGD). The development model in this research refers to the 4D (four-D) research and development model. The 4D research and development model consists of 4 main stages, namely define, design, develop and disseminate. The validation results for material substance got a percentage of 90% in the valid category, learning design got a percentage of 87% in the valid category, and the use of Student Worksheet got a percentage of 99% in the valid category. The development of RPA-based Student Worksheet considers the elements of writing, the hierarchy of material in the form of photography and the selection of questions as efficient and effective stimuli that can direct students to improve their critical thinking skills.

An Investigation of Basic Psychological Needs Satisfaction and Its Basic Components: A Literature Review

Basic psychological needs satisfaction is closely related to self-determination theory, which is associated with desires that influence motivation and individuals’ actions. According to self-determination theory, when individuals have both extrinsically motivated and intrinsically motivated motivation while pursuing a task, positive outcomes such as task continuation and subjective well-being occur. Within the framework of self-determination theory, individuals’ motivating needs may be thought of as their psychological nourishment, and the perception of being able to do things and meet their needs in their personal space may be highlighted. Among the basic elements of basic psychological needs satisfaction, autonomy, competence, relatedness, and the potential for life satisfaction related to these three components may be counted. Competence is associated with individuals’ effectiveness in interacting with the environment and their sense of control in being able to accomplish tasks (such as completing a project assignment). Autonomy, on the other hand, is related to the individuals’ ability to regulate their actions voluntarily. Relatedness with others, which is another component of basic psychological needs satisfaction, may arise from individuals’ desire to be in relationships characterized by mutual respect, trust, and emotional connections with others. When looking at the elements associated with basic psychological needs satisfaction in the literature, “Maslow's hierarchy of needs,” “Psychological well-being,” “Disasters,” and “Various motivational sources” may be seen. Considering the elements associated with basic psychological needs satisfaction, it is suggested that activities may be organized on how to benefit from that. For example, an activity may be organized to develop awareness of the components of autonomy, competence, and interpersonal relationships involved in satisfying basic psychological needs.

Become Smart Parents In Parenting ASD Children By Following Parenting Seminars

This article was written as a report related to a leadership project assignment which is one of the courses in the Pre-service PPG program. The leadership project activities carried out are community service activities designed in parenting ministries. The parenting seminar aims to add insight and knowledge to parents in terms of parenting children with ASD according to their developmental stages and characteristics. The seminar method is carried out by conveying information based on research results followed by discussion activities by all participants in the activities. The implementation of activities is carried out in a hybrid manner, namely face-to-face and online. The goal is that activity participants do not only include guardians of students at the UM Laboratory Autism SLB, but have a wider range of participants. In general, the hope of implementing this activity is to increase parents' knowledge and skills in terms of good and appropriate parenting for children with ASD

Evaluasi Penerapan Kurikulum Merdeka Pada Pembelajaran Geografi Kelas X di SMA Negeri 1 Jakarta

This research aims to determine the success of implementing the Merdeka Curriculum in the subject of geography, focusing on the following aspects: (1) Implementation of geography teaching hours, (2) Use of teaching materials, (3) Learning process, (4) Assessment process, (5) Student learning outcomes, and (6) Challenges faced. The method used in this research is descriptive with a quantitative approach. The population of the study consists of all 286 students in Grade X at SMA Negeri 1 Jakarta. The sample for this research is composed of 75 students and 1 geography teacher, selected using simple random sampling technique. Data collection is carried out through distributing a questionnaire containing 20 closed-ended statements. The results of this research obtained a percentage of 76%, which falls into the good category. The students' learning outcomes reached the Minimum Mastery Criteria (KKM) with an average score of 80.5. There are several challenges faced, such as students feeling overwhelmed by the number and difficulty of project assignments, which clash with their school tasks. They also feel burdened because the Merdeka Curriculum does not offer subject specialization, requiring students to take all subjects. The challenges faced by the teacher include a lack of experience in implementing self-directed learning. Additionally, time management is a challenge as the geography teacher at SMA Negeri 1 is the only one responsible for teaching Grade X, XI, and XII.

Development of Video Tutorial Media in the Computer Networking Course at Indonesia Christian University Toraja

This research analyzes the problem of lack of literacy and references for practicum material that students can use to make it easier for them in practicum, making students overwhelmed and having difficulty completing the project assignments given. To answer the challenges of the digitalization 5.0 era and make things easier for students, innovations are needed in learning Computer Networks courses, the innovation of which is in the form of video tutorial media which can motivate students to have more fun learning and make it easier for students to absorb knowledge and skills in the field of Computer Networks. This research method uses a type of research and development (R & D) Instructional Development Institute (IDI) development model using qualitative data analysis. This research will be carried out at the Indonesian Christian University of Toraja with students from the Educational Technology Study Program as research subjects. The results of the development in this research are video tutorial media products with a duration of ± 7 minutes which are packaged in the form of teaching materials that are ready to be used. The validation level of the video tutorial media developed is based on material and media experts, is in the valid category, and is suitable for testing.

KREATIVITAS GURU PENDIDIKAN AGAMA KATOLIK DALAM MENINGKATKAN MOTIVASI BELAJAR SISWA DI SMA KATOLIK 2 KABANJAHE

The role of teachers in enhancing students' learning motivation is crucial, especially in catholic religious education. Catholic Religious Education teachers are responsible for being role models, providing inspiration, and motivating students. Teacher creativity is critical n enhancing students' motivation to learn Catholic Religious Education. This research aims to analyze the role of Catholic Religious Education teachers' creativity in motivating students. The research method used is qualitative with data collection through observation, interviews, and documentation. The research indicate that Catholic Religious Education teachers employ various creative teaching methods and instructional media to enhance students' learning motivation. They implement strategies such as the using pictures, videos, music, group discussions, role-playing, and project assignments. Teachers also assist students in achieving satisfactory learning outcomes by providing guidance, support, and positive feedback. It is expected that the findings of this research will provide a better understanding of the role of Catholic Religious Education teachers' creativity in motivating students and offer valuable recommendations for teachers and education policymakers.

Development of the Circle Equation E-module: Research on the Effectiveness of Learning Mathematics

This study aims to investigate the effectiveness of the circle equation e-module in learning mathematics. The Canva-based e-module development method using the Four-D model is used in this study. The research was carried out by involving students as research subjects and carried out in a formal education environment. Data were collected through pre-test and post-test, as well as practical assessments and student project assignments. The results showed that (1) the use of the Canva-based circle equation e-module with the Four-D model had a positive and significant impact on student learning outcomes. There is a significant increase in students' understanding of the equation of a circle after using the e-module; (2) This learning e-module is categorized as effective based on the classical mastery achieved by students; (3)This research contributes to the development of a more interactive and effective mathematics education through the use of e-module technology; (4) This research can also encourage collaboration between schools and the dissemination of circle equation e-modules to teachers and students.

Exploring the Efficacy of Video Project Assignments in English Language Learning through the Lens of Tertiary-Level EFL Students

Convenient methods for the instruction of foreign languages are constantly in quest as a consequence of incessant technological breakthroughs at a rapid speed. Video-making project has turned out to be a prominent technique that allows learners to be actively involved in the target language and utilize L2 in real-world situations with “intake” they obtained from in-class setting. English language students’ perceptions concerning the effectiveness of these multimodal resources in their learning experience as non-examination assessment tools have not, however, been the objective of many studies within online EFL contexts. Hence, this study was directed at seeking the relationship between EFL learners’ perceptions of the efficacy of group project assignments on their L2 competence, language learning process, and implementations in online classes. To that end, 75 sophomore Turkish students in tertiary-level education enrolled in a compulsory online module of English partook in the research by filling out a 17-item questionnaire. The results portray the positive relations between their perceptions towards the influences of those projects on language proficiency and target language learning phases, whereas a significant relationship was not detected between their implementations in online settings and contributions to the L2 learning process. Nevertheless, the optimistic approach of EFL students to exploit these projects as effective tools for English proficiency mediated the link between these two foregoing sub-dimensions. Accordingly, some suggestions were provided for future research directions.

Exploring the Project Owner’s Behaviour of Addressing Sustainability in Project Assignment and Governance

The instrumental role of projects in the transition of organisations and society towards sustainability requires that the concepts of sustainability are considered in projects and project management. Within a project’s organisation, the project manager and the project owner bear the most responsibility for integrating sustainability into the execution, management, and governance of the project. The project owner is expected to translate the organisation’s commitment to sustainability into the assignment and governance of the project. However, several factors influence the behaviour of project owners, of which the organisation’s strategy is only one. Following the studies that explored the stimulus of project managers to consider or address sustainability, this study explored the factors that influence the project owner’s behaviour with regard to addressing sustainability in assigning and governing a project. A survey-based study with quantitative data analysis identified three factors that stimulate the project owners to address sustainability in assigning and governing projects: Organisational attitude, Private attitude, and Practical implementation. Of these factors, Practical implementation and Organisational attitude have the most influence. The importance of the Practical implementation factor highlights the need for practical, applicable tools and instruments that support the implementation of sustainability into projects and project management. The strong orientation on the organisational context may be explained by the managerial responsibility that project owners often have. The study contributes to the further understanding of how organisations can realise their transition to a sustainable enterprise.

Best Practices in Patient Education: Medical Students' Perceptions and Implementations.

Effective patient education can help achieve better clinical outcomes, especially when a patient is managing a chronic illness. Despite patient education being an important skill in the professional formation of physicians, little is known about medical students' perceptions and implementations of such strategies. After completing a chronic illness educational module, second-year medical students were asked to rate the importance of specific patient education strategies and to assess their use of said strategies in the module's project assignment. Results indicated students utilized different patient education strategies from those they initially identified as most effective.
