Asset Management Information System at STMIK Bandung (Case Study: STMIK Bandung), which is designed to build a system that can assist the Building Management Section in managing all assets at STMIK Bandung, As well as being able to assist the Building Management section in carrying out asset write-offs so that they are more accurate and efficient. The software development methodology used is the waterfall model for problems that happen in the asset processing process. The waterfall model was chosen because of the stages in it. For now, this method of asset management is effective because it can make the process of procuring assets easier for the section of building management and can assist building management in making decisions for asset disposal.

FORMATION OF THE ADMINISTRATIVE MANAGEMENT SYSTEM OF ASSETS AND LIABILITIES OF A BANKING INSTITUTION IN THE STRATEGIC ASPECT

The article examines the essence of the process of managing assets and liabilities of a banking institution. The works of ukrainian and foreign scientists devoted to issues of asset and liability management systems were studied and analyzed. The essence of the concept of the structure of assets and liabilities is determined. The main strategies for managing the bank's assets and liabilities have been identified - the asset management strategy, the liability management strategy, and the combined strategy.
 The purpose of the article is the formation of the formation of the system of administrative management of assets and liabilities of a banking institution. The main tasks of a comprehensive strategy and its important elements are defined. Two basic groups of asset and liability management methods are highlighted - methods of managing a certain risk and methods of modeling the optimal balance sheet structure. The shortcomings inherent in both groups were analyzed.
 It is proposed to use, in addition to classic digital methods, tools for influencing the structure of the bank's assets and liabilities. A diagram of the asset and liability management system from a functional point of view has been created. In order to effectively manage a banking institution, it is proposed to include digital tools for influencing the structure of assets and liabilities to the tools of the asset and liability management system in order to obtain maximum profit while maintaining reliability. For the formation of the MAL system, it is proposed to implement the following digital elements: implementation of the biometric system of online banking; integration with the Diya platform; distribution and promotion of the use of Visa pay-Wave cards; expansion and adaptation of POS lending (including biometric identification of the recipient) using POS terminals; expansion of online banking functionality. Their influence on the three main factors determining the degree of profit of a banking institution is determined.
 In the course of the analytical work, it was found that an important tool in the asset and liability management strategy is bank digitalization. Using digital technologies, banking institutions have the opportunity to reach a completely new level, providing innovative services and services to clients. Despite the fact that these directions have received active development in recent years, their potential has not yet been exhausted. Development and Design of an Intelligent Financial Asset Management System Based on Big Data Analysis and Kubernetes

The rise of deep learning in the financial field has led to the integration of artificial intelligence and investment, providing users with intelligent investment decisions. However, the data volume of financial market continues to expand, traditional data processing methods can no longer meet the needs of efficiency and accuracy. This article focuses on deep reinforcement learning algorithms and delves into key issues such as stock price prediction, investment portfolios, and algorithmic trading. By comparing and analyzing the experimental results, not only was the performance of the model evaluated, but also the actual effect of the algorithm output was deeply explored. At the same time, drawing on Kubernetes container orchestration and microservice technology, a high concurrency and high-performance distributed financial data analysis system was constructed. This system not only meets the needs of users for real-time data analysis and deep learning, but also provides more reasonable investment suggestions for users. The contribution of this article lies in introducing deep reinforcement learning to solve nonlinear data problems in the financial field, proposing intelligent asset management methods, and designing a feasible intelligent financial asset management system, providing new ideas and practical experience for the further development of financial data analysis platforms.

Life Cycle Cost Method for Safe and Effective Infrastructure Asset Management

Existing maintenance management systems implement periodic inspections and diagnoses and perform maintenance to restore damaged facilities, making it difficult to establish a long-term and analytical budget plan. The Framework Act on Sustainable Infrastructure Management necessitates specific implementation plans for new implementation items. This study proposes a detailed method for estimating infrastructure management cost to overcome the limitations of the post-response maintenance system and establish a management plan for the Framework Act on Sustainable Infrastructure Management, considering the performance and cost effects in terms of the life cycle. The method was classified into the following stages: analysis of the performance degradation timing by deriving the performance degradation curve, analysis of proper construction methods by performance grade to establish a cost model for each member grade, representative life assessment of the establishment to determine the end-of-life of members, and analysis of optimal action timing for establishing short/mid- to long-term repair and reinforcement plans. The proposed method was applied to a water reservoir (99 reservoirs in Seoul, Korea). The performance degradation and cost prediction models for the target establishment were analyzed. The proposed method can be applied to the maintenance decision making of the management agency and is significant for efficient infrastructure maintenance.

Research on Power Grid Data Asset Management Based on Big Data BI Analysis – The Role of Renewable Energy Technologies

With the advancement of the industrial Internet of Things era, and the use of renewable energy technologies, smart grid has become the main form of power grid, and data has become a key link. The problem of data islands is common, and the data value, especially the commercial value, has yet to be tapped. This phenomenon is particularly prominent in power grid enterprises. Therefore, a data management model and method for power grid enterprises are proposed. The model aims at data asset management of power grid enterprises, reveals the process of extracting, modeling, analyzing and value mining of power grid data based on big data BI technology, and puts forward a practical and easy-to-land data asset management method, which really solves the problems of how to collect, store, manage and use data. Finally, taking the linkage between power marketing data and power grid planning in a certain area of Hangzhou, Zhejiang Province as a specific scenario, the BI analysis conclusion of relevant marketing data is displayed, which realizes the echo of conventional application and advanced application, reduces investment practically, improves economic benefits, and demonstrates the feasibility and scientificity of the method.

The Management of Power System Reliability in the Offshore Oil and Gas Field

The reliability of electric power systems is needed in offshore oil and gas field operations because disruptions can have a direct impact on oil production, costs, and company profits.Objectives: to determine the evaluation of reliability performance and propose a model for managing the power system reliability of the PHE OSES offshore oil and gas field.Methodology: A case study with data collected through observation, interviews, and analysis of relevant documents.Finding: Reliability in 2015-2016 has not reached the target but from 2017-2021 has reached the target of 97.5%, as well as availability in 2015, 2018, 2019 & 2020 has not reached the target but in 2016, 2017 & 2021 has reached the target of 95%. This resulted in the highest production losses in 2015 at 266,965 and the lowest in 2021 at 21,388 barrels of oil. The model is proposed by combining elements in risk-based asset management method, RCM method, and redesign.Conclusion: In recent years, reliability has been on target but availability is volatile. The model is proposed to maintain reliability & availability on target so that production losses can be minimized.

A Systematic Literature Review on Urban Resilience Enabled with Asset and Disaster Risk Management Approaches and GIS-Based Decision Support Tools

Urban Resilience (UR) enables cities and communities to optimally withstand disruptions and recover to their pre-disruption state. There is an increasing number of interdisciplinary studies focusing on conceptual frameworks and/or tools seeking to enable more efficient decision-making processes that lead to higher levels of UR. This paper presents a systematic review of 68 Scopus-indexed journal papers published between 2011 and 2022 that focus on UR. The papers covered in this study fit three categories: literature reviews, conceptual models, and analytical models. The results of the review show that the major areas of discussion in UR publications include climate change, disaster risk assessment and management, Geographic Information Systems (GIS), urban and transportation infrastructure, decision making and disaster management, community and disaster resilience, and green infrastructure and sustainable development. The main research gaps identified include: a lack of a common resilience definition and multidisciplinary analysis, a need for a unified scalable and adoptable UR model, margin for an increased application of GIS-based multidimensional tools, stochastic analysis of virtual cities, and scenario simulations to support decision making processes. The systematic literature review undertaken in this paper suggests that these identified gaps can be addressed with the aid of asset and disaster risk management methods combined with GIS-based decision-making tools towards significantly improving UR.

Within the framework of this article, the authors raise the issue of the development of the banking system. The article is devoted to the problems and peculiarities of the liquidity management of the banking system and its impact on the activities of banks. According to the authors, liquidity acts as the main indicator of the stability and reliability of banks. It is important that the level of liquidity is at a strictly defined level. Only under this condition the income of banks will be maximized. This explains the need to develop an effective mechanism for managing liquidity. The authors emphasize that in order to maintain liquidity, it is necessary to constantly maintain the ratio of its three main components: own, borrowed and placed funds. It is noted that the level of liquidity is largely determined by a combination of external and internal factors. The authors formulate a list of two types of factors that have the greatest impact on the state of liquidity. The article emphasizes that there is a very close relationship between liquidity and profitability: with an increase in the liquidity of assets, the risk associated with them decreases, which means that the profitability from the sale of these assets also decreases. The authors also consider the main methods of asset and liability management and list their features. However, it should be understood that the most effective management of the liquidity of the banking system can be achieved only with the integrated management of both assets and liabilities. The authors argue that a number of problems may arise in the process of liquidity management. In this regard, they are developing measures to overcome these problems. In addition, a list of those aspects that need to be given more attention in the management of liabilities is given.

Road Asset Value Calculation Based on Asset Performance, Community Benefits and Technical Condition

The article presents a comprehensive asset management method. Here presented method aims to bridge the economic approach to asset management with the technical approach to road infrastructure life cycle, namely its resilience and performance. The presented asset value calculation methods are based both on socio-economic viewpoints on community benefits of an asset, as well as the technical aspect of the technical condition and residual life calculations of a road infrastructure. In contrast to common road asset management methods, asset value is not arbitrarily annually depreciated, instead, it is exactly calculated based on pavement performance models, pavement construction fatigue and paving material properties. Road asset value calculation is based on the asset performance and the technical condition of a pavement structure and other objects. Road asset performance is defined in terms of society and road user demands put on road category and its qualitative standard. Road asset technical condition is evaluated by the procurement cost calculation and condition deterioration. Value of condition deterioration is defined by residual life expectancy based on fatigue and construction reliability of the road infrastructure. The cross-asset allocation method is used for the creation of programs for claim and allocation of funding. The aim was to increase the credibility of the road administrators with the public as they present their decisions based on road asset management, and to increase the level of acceptance for practitioners.

A Treatment Reliability-Based Method for Supporting Infrastructure Asset Management of Wastewater Treatment Plants

A simple and consolidated reliability-based method widely used to unveil the real reliability and stability of wastewater treatment plants (WWTPs) is herein proposed to trigger decision making on operational improvements and asset management for maintaining or improving treatment effectiveness, reliability, and efficiency. Five-year data (2015–2019) from 16 Portuguese activated sludge WWTPs were used. For the 73% of the yearly data which fitted a lognormal distribution, Niku’s coefficient was computed to assess the plant annual reliability for biological oxygen demand (BOD5), chemical oxygen demand (COD), and total suspended solids (TSS). The standard deviation of the annual concentrations was used to characterize the plant stability, and the maximum standard deviations allowed to comply with the European discharge requirements for urban WWTPs were derived. The results demonstrate extended aeration WWTPs were more reliable and stable than conventional aeration WWTPs (0.98 reliability vs. 0.82 for BOD5, 0.97 vs. 0.91 for COD, and 0.94 vs. 0.89 for TSS). Furthermore, the lower reliabilities and stabilities were found for the smaller WWTPs. These results are important for strategic asset management for designing and rehabilitation of the wastewater treatment system. At tactical and operational levels, for resources’ allocation and operating conditions set up, the computed WWTP’s coefficient of variation allows establishing the mean effluent concentrations required for compliance with a given reliability for different scenarios of discharge requirements.

A Blockchain Architecture for Trusted Sub-Ledger Operations and Financial Audit Using Decentralized Microservices

Blockchain has become an unavoidable future in enterprise finance, particularly enabling and securing cross-company transactions. By introducing a comparable notion of smart contract, the trusted sub-ledger operation (TSLO), this article will propose a complete architecture based on the Blockchain to solve the traceability and validity of accounting data by assets groupement. TSLO is a more flexible and adaptable method for asset management in the corporate accounting system and the enterprise resource planner. This method is built on a decentralized microservices tree (DMST) and is an extendable E-Binding form of TEA (Triple Entry Accounting). Instead of using a multi-ledger architecture, the Hyperledger Fabric skeleton, limited to participant channels inside one entity or organization, our approach uses decentralized sub-ledgers with an implementation tree (DMST) for an assets-driven transaction. Furthermore, the government’s audit and taxation procedures for financial groups are more accessible by combining Proof of Authority and Proof of Stake to assure the logic of More stake more reputation to preserve.

Computer Laboratory Asset Management System with Analytics

With the development of computer information technology, the information revolution permeates every corner of life. Colleges and universities are the frontiers of information development, and their hardware infrastructure construction is relatively perfect. Due to the large number of people in colleges and universities, the computer room and computer training room equipment are also required. Asset Management Method of Industrial IoT Systems for Cyber-Security Countermeasures

Cyber-security countermeasures are important for IIoT (industrial Internet of things) systems in which IT (information technology) and OT (operational technology) are integrated. The appropriate asset management is the key to creating strong security systems to protect from various cyber threats. However, the timely and coherent asset management methods used for conventional IT systems are difficult to be implemented for IIoT systems. This is because these systems are composed of various network protocols, various devices, and open technologies. Besides, it is necessary to guarantee reliable and real-time control and save CPU and memory usage for legacy OT devices. In this study, therefore, (1) we model various asset configurations for IIoT systems and design a data structure based on SCAP (Security Content Automation Protocol). (2) We design the functions to automatically acquire the detailed information from edge devices by “asset configuration management agent”, which ensures a low processing load. (3) We implement the proposed asset management system to real edge devices and evaluate the functions. Our contribution is to automate the asset management method that is valid for the cyber security countermeasures in the IIoT systems.

Reliability Analysis and Economic Life Calculation for Asset Management Optimization (Case Study in Steam Power Generation Unit at XYZCompany)

In a competitive market driven industry at a power generation business, requires The electricity producers to provide electricity with a low cost of supply. On the other hand, the large number of equipment assets managed by the power plant companies requires an appropriate asset management process, in order to reduce the increased maintenance and investment costs of equipment which which can cause an increase in the cost of supply. XYZ Company as a company that manages assets of more than Rp 174 trillion has challenges in the process of optimizing its company's asset management. The decreasing amount of maintenance and investment budget in the company each year and the equipment conditions that have been operated for more than 20 years, requires an asset management method that can provide a comprehensive understanding of the technical and economic conditions of each equipment, so it can be provide appropriate information to support the decision making process that is expected to reduce cost of supply.In this study, the authors conducted an analysis of asset conditions at XYZ Company by combining the method of reliability analysis and calculation of the economic life of the equipment. Case study was conducted at one of the units at XYZ Company precisely in Steam Turbine Unit 2.0. The purpose of this study is to obtain comprehensive information including the value of reliability and economic life of each equipment in the unit to facilitate management in the decision making process for the selection of maintenance strategies and asset replacement.Reliability analyzes were performed using RBD, RGA, and Weibull software. Reliability calculation will be done by looking at the amount and time between damages. Economic life calculation is done by calculating the annual equivalent cost. The analysis was performed on each equipment in the Steam Turbine Unit 2.0. From this analysis, it’s resulted the procedure for the classification of power plant equipment for the replacement process in accordance with the limits of the parameters of the reliability index and economic lifereliability and economic life conditon. Moreover, It’s resulted the mapping of Steam Turbine critical quipment. This mapping illustrates the amount of equipment that must be replaced immediately, still maintained, and the maintenance strategy needs to be evaluated immediately. This information is used by management in deciding the evaluation of equipment maintenance strategies and replacement strategies to reduce the power plant cost of supply.

In this context, the capacity to respond promptly to market changes is of critical importance to enterprises. To this end, modern enterprises are forced to increase their production output through the rational use of their labor, production resources and financial assets, as well as to take into account the emergence of new social needs, focusing on key factors of change, which will ensure the dynamism of their economic potential. The paper argues that management system of enterprise economic potential is a set of targeted tools and methods to affect enterprise stakeholders’ interests characterized by constant dynamic transformational changes under the effects of internal and external environment, with a focus on rational use of enterprise potential and ensuring its balanced business performance The suggested pathways and recommendations on enterprise economic potential management have significant implication and can be used in business for the most effective use of labor, production and material resources in static and dynamic aspects of the overall industry strategic development of the in general.

Pruning Pareto optimal solutions for multi-objective portfolio asset management

Budget allocation problems in portfolio management are inherently multi-objective as they entail different types of assets of which performance metrics are not directly comparable. Existing asset management methods that either consolidate multiple goals to form a single objective (a priori) or populate a Pareto optimal set (a posteriori) may not be sufficient because a decision maker (DM) may not possess comprehensive knowledge of the problem domain. Moreover, current techniques often present a Pareto optimal set with too many options, making it counter-productive. In order to provide the DM with a diverse yet compact solution set, this paper proposes a three-step approach. In the first step, we employ different approximation functions to capture investment-performance relationships at the asset-type level. These simplified relationships are then used as inputs for the multi-objective optimisation model in the second step. In the final step, Pareto optimal solutions generated by a selected evolutionary algorithm are pruned by a clustering method. To measure the spread of representative solutions over the Pareto front, we present two novel indicators based on average Euclidean distance and cosine similarity between original Pareto solutions and representative solutions. Through numerical examples, we demonstrate that this approach can provide a set of representative solutions that maintain high integrity of the original Pareto front. We also put forward suggestions on choosing appropriate approximation functions, pruning methods, and indicators.

The method of asset management in connection with the development of the economic accounting system of financial and economic activity: accounting practices, practices, representation and compilation of accounting (financial) accounts of companies is described. This development is related to the use of international financial reporting standards, which are integrated into domestic practice. The aim of the study is to organize the effectiveness of fixed assets revaluation as an asset management method. To achieve the goal, the objectives are: to investigate the effectiveness of revaluation and impairment in the management of major funds; systematizing the overall stages of the method of assessing the value of fixed assets in revaluation and impairment; exploring opportunities to expand approaches to analyzing changes in balance sheet performance, financial performance reporting and financial performance in the asset management system. The object of the study is the cost of fixed assets. The authors have examined the method of revaluation and impairment, selected approaches to the study of the effectiveness of revaluation for the purpose of strategic and tactical asset management. The authors conclude that a comprehensive approach to asset management is needed when reevaluating the value of fixed assets. A comprehensive approach should be based on the development of revaluation and impairment techniques to analyze the effectiveness of the financial and economic system and balance sheet control and the financial performance report in strategic and tactical asset management
