Development of Financial Accounting Subject Learning Modules Using Learning Management System (LMS) for Students of Class XI Accounting at SMKN 1 Boyolangu

In accounting learning activities in schools, students are still minimal in using modules because there are no modules that are in accordance with student competence. In financial accounting lessons students are required to be able to understand the material and problems that exist for it needs a financial accounting module that can attract students to be active in working on problems in the form of case studies so as to improve the competence of accounting students. The purpose of this research is to design an e-learning-based financial accounting learning module using a learning management system for class XI students at SMKN 1 Boyolangu, know the validity of LMS-based financial accounting learning modules and find out the feasibility level of financial accounting learning modules using class XI learning management system at SMKN 1 Boyolangu. This type of research is Research and Development. 4D development model Thiagarajan, Semmel and Semmel, for the stage of deployment in the scope of smkn 1 boyolangu for accounting majors. The results of the study showed the development process produced the final product in the form of financial accounting modules with materials in odd semesters. Expert feasibility analysis of materials with an average score of 3.94, media expert eligibility of 3.95, eligibility by accounting practitioners 3.95 and student assessment results of modules 3.95. It can be concluded that the modules developed are suitable for use in learning activities.

Learning Video Based on Contextual Approach Science Content of Grade V Elementary School

The lack of use of video media in the learning process causes students to have difficulties in learning. This research aims to develop audiovisual learning media tailored to the needs of today's learning. The test subjects in this study consisted of several experts and students. The experts consist of learning content experts, learning design experts and learning media experts and involve grade V students to conduct individual trials and small group trials. This development research uses ADDIE development model (analyze, design, development, implementation, evaluation) as systematic steps in the product development process. The data collection method in this study consists of observations, questionnaires and interviews. The data analysis techniques used are quantitative and qualitative descriptive data analysis techniques. Based on the results of product trials, the instructional video was declared feasible by the test subjects, namely learning content experts, learning design experts, learning media experts and students. The results of the evaluation of the learning content expert obtained a percentage (95.83%) with very good qualification, the results of the learning design expert's assessment obtained a percentage (94.23%) with very good qualification, the results of the learning media expert's assessment obtained a percentage (85.00%) with good qualifications and the results of student assessments through individual tests obtained a percentage (94.00%) with very good qualification, and the results of student assessments through small group tests obtained a percentage (95.83%). Based on the results of the product trial, it is concluded that the developed learning videos in very good qualifications and suitable for use in the learning process.

Pengembangan Perangkat Pembelajaran Menulis Narasi Berbasis Media Bagan Pohon di Kelas V Sekolah Dasar

The difficulty of students in writing narratives is a problem that has been found in the field. Students lack mastery in giving an idea and developing it into a narrative essay. The purpose of this research is to create a learning tool for writing narratives based on tree chart media that is valid, practical, and effective. The type of research used is development research with the ADDIE model. The teacher and the fifth grade students of SD Islam Al-Azhar Simabur are the subjects of this study. Looking at the research data with the validity test, which was obtained from the validation sheet of the learning device. Then to see the practicality data from the observation sheet on the implementation of the lesson plans, along with the teacher and student response questionnaires. Activities and assessments of student learning outcomes are obtained from the effectiveness of learning tools. The results of the validation of learning tools that have been carried out are stated in the very valid category. The learning tools developed are also stated to be very practical, this is supported by the RPP implementation sheet with an average of 90 and the teacher's response 89 then students 91. After that, it can be seen that the results of student activities and student learning outcomes are very satisfying so that it can be stated very effective when applied in learning. In summary, the learning tools developed using the tree chart media in fifth grade elementary school were declared valid, practical and effective.

Reimagining crisis teaching through autoethnography: a case of an online Japanese course

ABSTRACT The global pandemic has forced all language teachers, regardless of their affinity to and preparation for online teaching, to convert their face-to-face courses into online versions of crisis teaching. Despite being a crisis, it has also opened opportunities for language educators and researchers to identify innovative ways of evaluating, improving and revamping their current practices. This timely paper reports on emerging issues triggered by emergency remote teaching (ERT), gleaning from the in-depth observations and critical reflections of a Japanese language program coordinator (instructor). Through autoethnography, she provided her first-hand experience and critical reflection on the ERT phenomenon. Qualitative data were gathered from her journal reflections, course evaluations, student assessment outcomes, and communication records documented in Blackboard. The findings pinpoint the following aspects amid ERT: the primacy of tele-/co-presence and the issue of privacy; solutions for online test proctoring and technical malfunction; pedagogically-sound assessment methods in fully online contexts; the balance between asynchronous and synchronous modes and interactions among students. The salient aspects offer best practices that synergize pedagogy and technology for less commonly taught languages delivered in a fully online environment. These valuable lessons learned from ERT can be conducive to future remote teaching in the post-COVID-19 era.

Broad Faculty Participation in Course-Level Evaluation of Student Outcomes Supporting Continuous Improvement of an Undergraduate Engineering Program

This paper describes a strategy of requiring all undergraduate engineering courses provide some quantitative assessment of student outcomes (SO) which is used in the overall continuous improvement process for the program. A wide range of learning activities are documented in the process and with more faculty participation being engaged in program accreditation. Except for senior design, courses, all courses have no more than two SO to limit the assessment workload on faculty and increase the quality of the data from each course. Pre-semester workshops help faculty plan learning activities so data collection is manageable and not concentrated at the end of the semester. Best practice activities are shared to encourage faculty to think beyond the use of the final exam or design project to assess SOs in their courses.

Moodle System One of the Way to Monitoring Competence of Future Teachers of Music Art

The article are given the scientific and methodological conditions for the production and progress of distance learning courses for future teachers of music through the competencebased, system, action approaches. The author identifies the components that are formed on the basis of the content of the course are and portion of the structure of the competence hierarchy of future music teacher. Materials of research are founded on the experience of education in the course of distance learning of Basic Musical Instrument (piano). The study considers the principal components of development and design of a distance learning course, including theoretical, practical, individual work, and control. The author grounds the specifics methods of distance learning for future teachers of music, in specific their instrumental training and the effectiveness of this training, differentiating the following main methods: of collecting information and using technologies of communication , such us multimedia and method of project . The criteria for control of information and skills were developed. The research was portion of educational experiment involving 52 bachelor students, Music Specialization. According to the results of the study, the study of the subject Basic Musical Instrument (Piano) using the Moodle learning environment contains a number of advantages, which are primarily manifested in higher assessment results of students’ learning. The motivational, musical instrumental and cognitive abilities of these students were approximately 10% higher than students who studied according to traditional methods. The opinion characterize the results of implementation and effectiveness of experimental study on the use of distance learning courses for the progressof instrumental performance competence of future teachers of music. Decision Trees-based Anomaly Detection in Computer Assessment Results

A survey of the current software in the area of computer assessments of students at a university is done. This work shows ways to improve quality of computer assessments and educational management. It suggests options to build a computer system for detecting anomalous assessment results of individual students and entire disciplines. This information could then be used to amend lectures and instructional material or management and better intercommunication to students. This work suggests feature sets for the analysis of student assessment results and demonstrates their availability in the current university software. After surveying known artificial intelligence systems this work proves the choice of decision trees for this problem. It suggests methods and algorithms to improve positive prediction rate of decision trees based on ideas of bootstrap method. A software tool was developed that implements the suggested algorithms.

Pengaruh Booklet Higiene Dan Sanitasi Terhadap Tindakan Pencegahan Kecacingan Pada Siswa Sekolah Dasar Di Wilayah Desa Tenganan Kabupaten Karangasem Tahun 2020

Abstract Worms infection in Bali Province is still a disease that is a public health problem. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the use of hygiene and sanitation booklets on worm disease prevention measures in elementary school students in the village area of Tenganan, Karangasem Regency. This study used a true experimental design with a pretest-posttest control group design method. The sample consisted of 51 students in the control group and 51 students in the treatment group. Data analysis used paired sample t-test and independent samples t-test. The results of student assessments of hygiene and sanitation used paired sample t-test analysis of the control group p 0.05, while the analysis results in the treatment group were p 0.05. Furthermore, the results of the analysis of independent samples t-test on the post-test of the control group and the treatment group for hygiene obtained p 0.005 and p 0.05 for sanitation. So it can be concluded that there is an effect of the use of hygiene and sanitation booklets on the prevention of worm disease in elementary school students in the village of Tenganan, Karangasem Regency. Recommendations to primary school principals that this “Handworm Hygiene and Sanitation Measures Booklet” can be used as a reference in physical education and health subjects. The Effectiveness of Implementation of Online Lectures on Student Satisfaction in Higher Education Institutions (Case Study of the President University)

This study aims to identify and obtain information about the effectiveness of the implementation of online lectures during the COVID-19 pandemic at Higher Education Institutions, especially President University. Data was collected by looking at the results of student satisfaction assessments of lecturers during the teaching and learning process, namely in the PUIS (President University Information System) system in the "Lecturing Evaluation" menu. The research used quantitative methods and data analysis used SPSS version 21 software. After the data were analyzed, the researchers conducted online interviews with 12 (twelve) lecturers. The results of this study are that there is a significant difference in satisfaction between offline and online lectures, namely, when offline class students can get knowledge directly without any technical constraints and face-to-face teaching and learning process there are values ​​that can be taken such as the process of social, cultural, ethical maturity. and morals that can only be found in the area of ​​education. In contrast to online lectures, apart from technical problems such as the unsupported internet, online classes also make students lose motivation to study because no chemistry can be built. There are different characteristics in each faculty, this is a challenge for lecturers to explore their abilities and provide new knowledge, and of course, it can be well accepted by students. Online classes will run more effectively if both lecturers and students live it with a sense of responsibility.

MODUL BELAJAR DAN PEMBELAJARAN UNTUK TOPIK MASALAH-MASALAH DALAM PEMBELAJARAN KIMIA

Student can’t able to give examples related to the problems of learning chemistry in high school. The purpose of this study is to develop a module of problems in chemistry learning contextual-based in Belajar dan pembelajaran. Development research uses the Rowntree model combined with Tessmer's formative evaluation. The research subjects were 4th semester students participating in Belajar dan Pembelajaran. Data collection techniques carried out through interviews and questionnaires. Data analysis consisted of validation data analysis and student assessment data analysis. Validation data analysis was given to the design expert, pedagogic expert, material expert on a Likert scale and analyzed with Aiken. Analysis of student assessment data is carried out at the one to one and small group stages with the Guttman scale. The results showed the modules developed met the design validation test of 0.87, pedagogical validation of 80, material validation of 0.86 all with a high category. The results of student assessment of modules developed practically where at one to one stage by 90% and small groups by 96.66% with a very high category. It can be concluded that the module of problems in chemistry learning contextual-based in Belajar dan pembelajaran lecture have met the valid and practical criteria.

The Arabic Language Education Study Program at the Bone State Islamic Institute is a study program that teaches four Arabic language skills, including writing skills. However, most of the students are alumni of non-Islamic boarding schools or Islamic boarding schools who do not get used to learning and practicing language in them, so it takes more time than the specified number of material meetings insya'. Not only additional time for study is needed, but the material is specially prepared and in accordance with the educational background of the 5th semester PBA study program students of IAIN Bone, such as material, insya', which is compiled based on contrastive analysis. Therefore, it is important for researchers to design a learning website based on contrastive analysis to improve the writing skills of 5th semester students of the Bone State Islamic Institute of Religion. Based on this, this study aims to: (1) Determine the characteristics of the learning website based on contrastive analysis to improve the writing skills of 5th semester students of the Bone State Islamic Agama Institute. (2) Knowing the feasibility of the learning website. (3) Knowing the effectiveness of the learning website. This research is a type of Research and Development (R&D) and True Experimental Design research in the form of Non Equavalent Control Group. In collecting data, researchers used interviews, tests, questionnaires, and documentation. And to analyze the data collected, the researcher used qualitative data analysis using Miles and Huberman's analysis of the Independent Sample t-test formula with the help of SPSS. From this research, it can be concluded that: (1) The characteristics of the learning website developed with the Dick & Cerry design model, and the learning achievement of this website is that after students finish learning on this website, students can write simple and systematic essays on topics familiar to them by putting together sentences. -broad sentences, this learning website material is prepared based on contrastive analysis, and specifically for students whose writing skills are still at the basic level. (2) It is known that this learning website is proven to be worthy of being seen from the results of the expert assessment of 85.5%, 95.8% one by one, 95.8% small group, field experiments and the average student assessment results of pre-test 62.3 and posttest 72.2. (3) It is known that this learning website has proven to be effective as seen from the results of the t-test sig value. (2-Tailed) 0.000 smaller than the standard significant t-table 5% = 0.05. With this, the researcher hopes that this learning website will be used as additional or alternative learning on the Insha' material for students who have the same characteristics as the characteristics of learning website users.

Integrating essential learning outcomes and electronic portfolios: Recommendations for assessment of student growth, course objectives, program outcomes, and accreditation standards

AbstractStockton University is a mid‐size liberal arts institution in Southern New Jersey. Degree seekers must complete required course work in both liberal studies and core, specialized areas, such as business, health sciences, hospitality, education, social and behavioral sciences, or organizational leadership. Stockton emphasizes Essential Learning Outcomes (ELOs) in undergraduate programs, aligning them to course goals and program outcomes. Faculty implement ELOs in many courses, across disciplines, providing students with opportunities to generalize ELOs in different contexts, in meaningful and relevant ways. Electronic portfolios (ePortfolios) are used to give students opportunities to develop their own personal profiles and expand their goal setting practices, by choosing artifacts that most represent who they are as learners and who they will be as future employees. Students enrolled in the courses included in this case study were encouraged to maintain an electronic portfolio that facilitates skill acquisition of reflective thought, self‐assessment, authentic learning, self‐determination, critical thinking and problem solving in preparation to successfully participate in a 21st century global world. Together with ELOs, ePortfolios give students a means of promoting their value to a future employer. This paper explores multiple case studies through courses that have integrated ELOs and ePortfolios for the purpose of assessing student growth, course objectives, program outcomes, or accreditation assessment. The case studies highlight the use of ELOs merged with ePortfolios for: first‐year students and their involvement in campus and course activities to assess personal and academic growth; first‐year students and the development of their research and information literacy skills to assess academic growth and course objectives; upper level undergraduate students and reflective assessment of student growth and course outcomes; and graduate students and reflective assessment of student growth and evidence for documenting accreditation standards. Examples of how ELOs and ePortfolios can be merged for different disciplines, and different student levels, are explored in detail. Suggestions for additional opportunities to embed ELOs into ePortfolios are discussed and provided for faculty who are interested in the utilization of these merged concepts for the assessment of student growth, course objectives, program outcomes and accreditation standards.

Using Conceptual Questions in Electromagnetics Education [Education Corner

The topic of electromagnetics is rather difficult for students to grasp and for instructors to teach. On the other hand, its importance to technical education can hardly be overstated. This article addresses some of the challenges in the methodology and practice of electromagnetics teaching and learning in general and in particular related to the conceptual understanding of the material and associated concept-based electromagnetic problem-solving skills. It introduces, frames, and discusses some possible uses of conceptual questions. These are multiple-choice questions requiring conceptual reasoning and understanding and very little or no calculations in electromagnetics education. We discuss applications of conceptual questions to modalities of active teaching/learning, such as a flipped classroom, and different types of assessments of student learning and teaching outcomes. Conceptual questions of this scope and intent are new in electromagnetics education and likely in any electrical and computer engineering area.

Decision-Making Employee Performance Evaluation at XYZ University Using the Mamdani Fuzzy Logic Method

Human resources (HR) of high quality will provide excellent job outcomes. Through the execution of quality and quality education, human quality is developed. As a tool for assessing the quality of education in Indonesia, the evaluation of a lecturer's performance plays a crucial role in education. This research intends to aid in assessing the performance of Lecturers using Fuzzy Logic. Mamdani is the fuzzy logic approach used in this study. The assessment input factors consist of Lecturer Presence in Teaching, Discipline Level, Student Assessment Results, loyalty, and Communication Level or engagement with students to provide two judgments based on a Lecturer's poor and excellent performance. This system may assist and give options for assessing the performance of Lecturers, allowing Lecturers to make optimum adjustments to recruit the most outstanding and competent lecturers. Based on the study findings, it can be inferred that an intelligent system based on fuzzy logic may be utilized to identify Lecturer performance judgments with a 90 percent degree of accuracy

DIGITAL ELECTRONIC PRACTICUM WITH LOGISIM APPLICATION USING WHATSAPP VIDEO CALL

<p>The purpose of this study was to describe the effectiveness and response of students about the Digital Electronics Practicum with the Logisim Application Using Whatsapp Video Call. This type of research is descriptive research. The research subjects were 50 Physics Education Students of Lambung Mangkurat University taking Digital Electronics courses. Data collection techniques are through practicum assessment sheets and student response questionnaires. The results of the student response questionnaire showed that the format, quality, clarity, and interest of the students were in good categories. The results of student practicum assessments show the effectiveness of the Digital Electronics Practicum with the Logisim Application Using Whatsapp Video Call in the good category. Thus it can be concluded that the Digital Electronics Practicum with Logisim Applications Using Whatsapp Video Call is effective to be implemented and gets a very good response from students.. </p>

Chemoentrepreneurship Based Student Worksheet Development to Improve Enterprise Interest in Chemical Teachers

The purpose of this study was the development of a chemoentrepreneurship based student worksheet (LKM) to increase the entrepreneurial interest in chemistry teacher candidates. The sample of this study was 115 students of the Department of Chemistry at the University of Riau and the State Islamic University (UIN) Sultan Syarif Kasim in the 6th semester of the 2019 academic year. The results obtained at the validation stage of MFI development were 95% with the valid category. The results of the small-scale test on the one-one test obtained an average percentage of 84.80% which was included in the very practical category. Furthermore, the lecturer response obtained an average percentage of assessment of 90.40% with the LKM category being well used in the learning process. The results of the small-scale trial assessment obtained an average percentage of the assessment of 85.16% which falls into the very practical category. The results of large-scale student assessments after using the LKM developed through filling out the student response questionnaires obtained an average score percentage of 80.63% with the practical category. The results of the increase in the entrepreneurial interest of UR students as a whole were 80.61, including the high category, and the results of the UIN students' interest in entrepreneurship as a whole were 81.64 including the very high category.

The Innovation of Music Teaching Mode Under the Background of Big Data

Technological progress, that is, large data scale, fast data extraction and analysis speed, and data structure diversity are the essential characteristics of big data. Big data is the key historical factor to promote the current development of the times. Facing the future education reform and development, information technology has become an innovation. With the support of big data technology, MOOC centered teaching mode and computing research paradigm are gradually becoming mature and become an important development trend of teaching research. Develop learning modules and suggest specific core courses in which their coverage may find the right context. In this paper, we study the participatory teaching method and record our classroom experience in these interventions. Specifically, we discussed learning outcomes, module content, their design and implementation, student assessment results and lessons learned.

Praktikalitas dari Pengembangan E-book Edupark Fisika dengan Pendekatan Saintifik Berdasarkan Destinasi Rumah Gadang

The development of teaching materials to improve the quality of learning. A developed teaching material must contain provisions for the development of teaching materials. Teaching materials can be integrated with the environment so that physics learning becomes more interesting and challenging. Various kinds of learning resources can be integrated into learning physics, including the environment or educational park (Edupark). Edupark is an educational park to observe the application of physics concepts for students. Edupark is one of the most popular visits by everyone, including students. Meanwhile, the era of the industrial revolution 4.0 had an impact on digital-based education such as non-printed teaching materials in the form of e-books which were integrated with Edupark using a scientific approach. This study uses the Plomp model in Prototyping II and Prototyping III. The data in this study were obtained from the results of student response assessments given in the one-to-one evaluation, small group stage. Besides, it was obtained from the responses of educators and students at the field test stage (prototyping III). The data analysis technique uses a Likert scale. The results of the study concluded that the Edupark physics e-book has a very practical level of practicality, including usable (usable), easy to use, appealing, and cost-effective

PENGEMBANGAN MODUL PRAKTIKUM UNTUK PERBANDINGAN UNJUK KERJA LINE CODING RZ DAN NRZ PADA JARINGAN FIBER OPTIK

The important thing to consider in the process of sending optical fiber network signals is theselection of line coding types. Line coding is a process of converting digital data into digital signals sothat they can be transmitted in optical fiber networks. Line codings commonly used are NRZ and RZ.Therefore, this research discussed the comparison of the performance of NRZ and RZ line codings infiber-optic networks in terms of Q-Factor, BER, and Eye Diagram. The result of this research was thecharacteristic form of the electric signal line coding NRZ with one data element using one signalelement, while in the RZ coding line, one data element used two signal elements. The maximum risetime variable using the RZ coding line is 0.3 bits, while the NRZ coding line is 0.7 bits. The bestrectangle shape model using line coding RZ is sine while line coding NRZ is exponential. Themaximum bit rate using the RZ coding line is 11.5 Gbps while using the NRZ coding line is 18 Gbps.The maximum transmission distance using the RZ and NRZ coding line is 75 km. Another output ofthis research is a practicum module that can be used by students of the Electrical Engineering StudyProgram to understand optical communication systems, especially line coding RZ and NRZ. Based onthe results of student assessments of 87.6% and the post-test score which is higher than the pre-testscore, the practicum module is feasible as teaching material.

Developing Moodle-based e-learning on the topic of logarithm for the tenth-grade students of SMA N 1 Sewon

The development of technology and communication has an impact on all aspects of life, including in the learning process using media. This study aims to develop e-learning platform by using Moodle on logarithmic material for ten grader students of SMA Negeri 1 Sewon. This development research uses the ADDIE model. The subjects of this study were learning material expert, learning media expert, and 10 grader students of SMA Negeri 1 Sewon. Data collection techniques were carried out by interviews, questionnaires, and observations. The data analysis techniques were conducted by converting qualitative data into quantitative data using a Likert scale. The results obtained from experts in the material included in the feasible category, the results obtained by media experts included in the feasible category, and the results of student assessment obtained as a feasible category. Based on these results, it can be concluded that the learning media developed can be used in the process of learning mathematics.
