IMPLEMENTASI KEBIJAKAN PENGEMBANGAN INOVASI PERTANIAN SPESIFIK LOKASI DI BALAI BESAR PENGKAJIAN DAN PENGEMBANGAN TEKNOLOGI PERTANIAN (BBP2TP) BALITBANGTAN

Achieving food security and nutrition is one of the national development priorities that the government is tasked with realizing. In the 2020-2024 RPJMN there are seven National Priorities (PN). The research design is a depiction of the research paradigm, the author chose a qualitative research approach to reveal and discuss the Implementation of the Performance Policy of the Center for Agricultural Technology Assessment and Development (BBP2TP) towards the Development of Location-Specific Agricultural Innovations. In its implementation, there are many things that influence it. One of the crucial things for the development of location-specific technology is how to harmonize technology development between the Research Center and the Agricultural Technology Assessment Center (BPTP). In the implementation of location-specific technology development policies coordinated by BBP2TP, many interests affect (Interest Affected) the Implementation of Location-Specific Agricultural Innovation Development Policies.

Common co-morbidities in polymyalgia rheumatica and giant cell arteritis: cross-sectional study in UK Biobank.

The aim was to determine prevalent co-morbidities in cases with PMR or GCA compared with matched controls. This was a nested, cross-sectional case-control study within the UK Biobank, which recruited participants aged 40-69 years. Case status was defined as self-reported prior diagnosis of PMR or GCA. Ten controls per case were matched for age, sex, ethnicity and assessment centre. Associations with selected self-reported co-morbidities were studied using conditional logistic regression. Of PMR (n = 1036) or GCA (n = 102) cases, 72% were female, 98% White, and 58% reported current use of glucocorticoids. Mean age was 63years. At the time of the assessment visit, compared with controls, PMR/GCA cases were more likely to report poor general health and at least several days of low mood in the past 2weeks. PMR was associated with hypothyroidism [odds ratio (OR) = 1.34; 95% CI = 1.07, 1.67] and ever-use of HRT (OR = 1.26; 95% CI = 1.07, 1.47). Regarding common co-morbidities, PMR and GCA were both associated with hypertension (PMR: OR = 1.21; 95% CI = 1.06, 1.39; GCA: OR = 1.86; 95% CI = 1.23, 2.81) and cataract (PMR: OR = 1.51; 95% CI = 1.19, 1.93; GCA: OR = 3.84; 95% CI = 2.23, 6.60). Additionally, GCA was associated with depression (OR = 3.05; 95% CI = 1.59, 5.85). Neither condition was associated with diabetes. Participants with a history of PMR/GCA, including those not currently taking glucocorticoids, rated their health as poorer than matched controls. Some previously described disease associations (hypothyroidism and early menopause) were replicated. Hypertension and cataract, both of which can be exacerbated by long-term glucocorticoid therapy, were over-represented in both diseases, particularly GCA.

A Nationwide Survey and Risk Assessment of Ethyl Carbamate Exposure Due to Daily Intake of Alcoholic Beverages in the Chinese General Population.

Ethyl carbamate (EC) is carcinogenic, and, in China, oral intake of EC mainly occurs as a result of the consumption of alcoholic beverages. To obtain the latest EC intake and risk analysis results for the general population in China, the China National Center for Food Safety Risk Assessment (CFSA) conducted the sixth total diet study (TDS) as a platform to analyze EC contents and exposure due to the intake of alcoholic beverages. A total of 100 sites in 24 provinces were involved in the collection and preparation of alcohol mixture samples for the sixth TDS. There were 261 different types of alcohol collected across the country, based on local dietary menus and consumption survey results. Ultimately, each province prepared a mixed sample by mixing their respective samples according to the percentage of local consumption. The EC levels of these twenty-four mixed samples were determined using our well-validated gas chromatography-mass spectrometry (GC-MS) method. The values ranged from 1.0 μg/kg to 33.8 μg/kg, with 10.1 μg/kg being the mean. China's EC daily intake ranged from 0.001 ng/kg bw/d to 24.56 ng/kg bw/d, with a mean of 3.23 ng/kg bw/d. According to the margin of exposure (MOE), virtually safe dose (VSD), and T25 risk assessments of the carcinogenicity of EC, the mean lifetime cancer risk for the Chinese population was 9.8 × 104, 1.5 × 10-7, and 8.6 × 10-8, respectively. These data show that the carcinogenicity of EC in the general Chinese population due to alcoholic intake is essentially minimal.

Clinical outcomes after endovascular thrombectomy in different triage methods

ObjectiveThe purpose of this study was to evaluate the effectiveness and safety of drip and ship (DS) for acute ischemic stroke (AIS) by comparing three treatment strategies: 1) patients seen at a primary stroke center, started on emergency intravenous thrombolysis and then transported to a comprehensive stroke center (drip and ship, DS); 2) patients immediately transferred to comprehensive stroke center without starting intravenous thrombolysis, for mechanical thrombectomy (non-drip and ship, non-DS); and 3) patients admitted directly to the comprehensive stroke center for assessment and subsequent bridging thrombolysis (mothership, MS). MethodsWe retrospectively reviewed the data of patients that underwent mechanical thrombectomy for AIS from November 2020 to May 2022 at our institution. Patients were divided into three groups: DS, non-DS, and MS. Time course, multimodal CT features and clinical results were compared among the three groups. ResultsThe study included 62 patients, with 19, 18, and 25 patients in DS, non-DS, and MS groups, respectively. Baseline characteristics did not differ among the three groups. The DS group had a significantly longer median onset to groin time than the MS group (395 min vs 244 min; P < 0.001), a significantly shorter onset to primary stroke center time than the non-DS group (90 min vs 463 min; P < 0.001), and a longer primary stroke center to groin puncture time than the non-DS group (277 min vs 162 min; P = 0.002). The onset to needle time was longer in the MS group than the DS group (151.2 min vs 111.8 min; P = 0.041). The intravenous thrombolysis to puncture time was shorter in the MS group compared with DS (56 min vs 278 min; P < 0.001). No significant differences were present among groups in post-operative variables measured. ConclusionsDS is a safe and effective method, with no increased risk of postoperative complications or death compared to non-DS and MS methods. The study provides a reference for the selection of transport modes for AIS patients.

Assessing volumetric brain differences in migraine and depression patients: a UK Biobank study

BackgroundMigraine and depression are two of the most common and debilitating conditions. From a clinical perspective, they are mostly prevalent in women and manifest a partial overlapping symptomatology. Despite the high level of comorbidity, previous studies hardly investigated possible common patterns in brain volumetric differences compared to healthy subjects. Therefore, the current study investigates and compares the volumetric difference patterns in sub-cortical regions between participants with migraine or depression in comparison to healthy controls.MethodsThe study included data from 43 930 participants of the large UK Biobank cohort. Using official ICD10 diagnosis, we selected 712 participants with migraine, 1 853 with depression and 23 942 healthy controls. We estimated mean volumetric difference between the groups for the different sub-cortical brain regions using generalized linear regression models, conditioning the model within the levels of BMI, age, sex, ethnical background, diastolic blood pressure, current tobacco smoking, alcohol intake frequency, Assessment Centre, Indices of Multiple Deprivation, comorbidities and total brain volume.ResultsWe detected larger overall volume of the caudate (mean difference: 66, 95% CI [-3, 135]) and of the thalamus (mean difference: 103 mm3, 95% CI [-2, 208]) in migraineurs than healthy controls. We also observed that individuals with depression appear to have also larger overall (mean difference: 47 mm3, 95% CI [-7, 100]) and gray matter (mean difference: 49 mm3, 95% CI [2, 95]) putamen volumes than healthy controls, as well as larger amygdala volume (mean difference: 17 mm3, 95% CI [-7, 40]).ConclusionMigraineurs manifested larger overall volumes at the level of the nucleus caudate and of the thalamus, which might imply abnormal pain modulation and increased migraine susceptibility. Larger amygdala and putamen volumes in participants with depression than controls might be due to increased neuronal activity in these regions.

Characteristics and factors associated with severity of COVID-19 infections in primary care.

Primary care service plays a vital role in early clinical assessment of patients with COVID-19 in Malaysia. This study aimed to evaluate the potential risk factors of COVID-19 severity at presentation to primary care facilities in the post-vaccination period. Clinical records from the Selangkah system of all patients with COVID-19 aged above 18 years seen at COVID-19 assessment centres located in 10 government health clinics in Gombak district, Selangor, from 1 October to 31 December 2021 with complete documentation and outcomes were retrieved. Demographics, comorbidities, clinical features and vaccination statuses and types were retrospectively evaluated. The variables were compared between mild and severe diseases. Univariate and multivariable logistic regressions were used to identify the factors affecting disease severity. A total of 4406 patients (median age=37 years, men=51.2%) were analysed. Approximately 97.1% of the cases were mild, while 2.9% were severe. Fever, difficulty breathing, lethargy, throat irritation/runny nose, oxygen saturation of <95%, respiratory rate of >20 breaths per minute, CoronaVac vaccination and hypertension were the determinants of severity (P<0.05). The high proportion (97.1%) of mild cases in this study compared with an earlier report (81.8%) during the pre-vaccination period may suggest the impact of vaccine, as 84.9% of this cohort was fully vaccinated. Our study also demonstrated a significant difference in COVID-19 severity between the vaccine types. The identified clinical features and comorbidities could assist primary care doctors in stratifying patients with COVID-19 judiciously in terms of hospital referral or home quarantine.

HVAC Systems Evaluation and Selection for Sustainable Office Buildings: An Integrated MCDM Approach

Heating, Ventilation, and Air-Conditioning (HVAC) systems are critical components of maintaining an indoor air quality that ensures the thermal comfort of occupants in diverse building types. However, HVAC systems are also responsible for a substantial portion of the total energy consumption of commercial and industrial office buildings. This paper presents an integrated approach of two powerful MCDM techniques: the Best-Worst-Method (BWM) and The Technique for Order of Preference by Similarity to Ideal Solution (TOPSIS) in order to evaluate and rank HVAC systems to ensure the best selection toward designing a sustainable office building. A set of conflicting criteria reported by international sustainable assessment centers were employed along with various HVAC systems to develop what is called herein a BWM-based TOPSIS model in order to conduct such a novel research attempt. Within the context of the investigated office building herein, the mini-package ductless system appears to be the best choice. This study could be further enhanced by including additional criteria and a larger sample size in future studies.

Parallel Teaching and Evaluation of Employability and Foreign Language Competencies in Technical Language Training

An increasingly important expectation of today’s labour market is the group of employability skills. That is the reason why the Institute of Business Communication and Professional Language Studies at Debrecen University found it essential to introduce the development of these highly demanded competences in the curriculum of the technical language courses. The paper describes how workplace skills and foreign language competencies can be compiled in one curriculum with particular emphasis on the application of IT skills in foreign language courses. Since a major task of universities is to prepare students for the tasks of assessment centres and other stages of the selection process, the testing of non-cognitive skills should also be integrated into the teaching material. The expected results of the program include: achieving a higher level of professional language and soft skills, increased student confidence in workplace situations and improved general communication skills.

The comparative performance of three screening questionnaires for psoriatic arthritis in a primary care surveillance study.

The objective of this study was to compare the performance of three PsA screening questionnaires in a primary care psoriasis surveillance study. Participants with psoriasis, and not known to have PsA, were identified from general practice databases and invited to attend a secondary care centre for a clinical assessment. The three patient-completed screening questionnaires (PEST, CONTEST and CONTESTjt) were administered, along with other patient-reported measures, and a clinical examination of skin and joints was performed. Participants who demonstrated signs of inflammatory arthritis suggestive of PsA were referred, via their GP, for a further assessment in a secondary care rheumatology clinic. A total of 791 participants attended the screening visit, and 165 participants were judged to have signs and symptoms of inflammatory arthritis, of which 150 were referred for assessment. Of these, 126 were seen and 48 were diagnosed with PsA. The results for each questionnaire were as follows: PEST: sensitivity 0.625 (95% CI 0.482, 0.749), specificity 0.757 (0.724, 0.787); CONTEST: sensitivity 0.604 (0.461, 0.731), specificity 0.768 (0.736, 0.798); and CONTESTjt: sensitivity 0.542 (0.401, 0.676), specificity 0.834 (0.805, 0.859). CONTESTjt demonstrated marginally superior specificity to PEST, though the area under the ROC curve was similar for all three instruments. Minimal differences between the three screening questionnaires were found in this study, and no preferred questionnaire is indicated by these results. The choice of which instrument to choose will depend on other factors, such as simplicity and low patient burden.

Relationship between dietary pattern and depressive symptoms: an international multicohort study

BackgroundSeveral previous studies have shown that dietary patterns are associated with the incidence of depressive symptoms. However, the results have been inconsistent. This study aimed to prospectively investigate the association between dietary patterns and the risk of depressive symptoms in two large cohort studies.MethodsThe Tianjin Chronic Low-grade Systemic Inflammation and Health (TCLSIH) cohort study included a total of 7,094 participants living in Tianjin, China from 2013 to 2019, and the UK Biobank cohort study includes 96,810 participants who were recruited from 22 assessment centers across the UK taken between 2006 and 2010. All participants were free of a history of cardiovascular disease (CVD), cancer, and depressive symptoms at baseline. Dietary patterns at baseline were identified with factor analysis based on responses to a validated food frequency questionnaire in TCLSIH or Oxford WebQ in UK Biobank. Depressive symptoms were evaluated using the Chinese version of the Zung Self-Rating Depression Scale (SDS) in TCLSIH or hospital inpatient records in UK Biobank. Cox proportional hazards regression models were used to estimate the association between dietary patterns and depressive symptoms.ResultsA total of 989, and 1,303 participants developed depressive symptoms during 17,410 and 709,931 person-years of follow-up. After adjusting for several potential confounders, the multivariable HRs (95% CIs) of the depressive symptoms were 0.71 (0.57, 0.88) for traditional Chinese dietary pattern, 1.29 (1.07, 1.55) for processed animal offal included animal food dietary pattern, and 1.22 (1.02, 1.46) for sugar rich dietary pattern in TCLSIH (all Q4 vs Q1). In the UK Biobank, the HRs (95% CIs) of depressive symptoms were 1.39 (1.16, 1.68) for processed food dietary pattern (Q4 vs Q1), 0.90 (0.77, 1.00) for healthy dietary pattern (Q3 vs Q1), and 0.89 (0.75, 1.05) for meat dietary pattern (Q4 vs Q1) in the final adjusted model.ConclusionDietary patterns rich in processed foods were associated with a higher risk of depressive symptoms, and following a traditional Chinese dietary pattern or healthy dietary pattern was associated with a lower risk of depressive symptoms, whereas meat dietary pattern was not associated.

The Relationship Between Assessment Centre Outcomes and Personality Traits

The present study aimed to assess the nomological validity of the Assessment Centre (AC). More specifically, the authors investigated the relationship between theoretically related personality variables and AC ratings in a personnel selection procedure. Previous studies have reported contradictory findings regarding the nomological validity of the Assessment Centre. We identified shortcomings in the previous studies and demonstrated the nomological validity of the AC in a relatively large sample of line manager candidates (N = 314). Our results are in harmony with trait activation theory, and this confirms the nomological validity of Assessment Centres. The theoretical and practical implications of these findings are discussed.

Managerial competencies in the framework of the circumplex model of personality metatraits

PurposeThe study sought to fit managerial competencies in the metatraits of the Circumplex Personality Metatraits Model (CPM) by Strus, Cieciuch and Rowinski (2014). The authors assumed that managerial competencies would be located in the sector of personality metatraits, specifically, the plus poles: Integration (Gamma-Plus) through Stability (Alpha-Plus) and Self-restraint (Delta-Plus) to Plasticity (Beta-Plus).Design/methodology/approachA group of 327 managers took part in this study. Managerial competencies related to social skills, problem-solving, management and goal striving, openness to change and employee development were evaluated via the assessment center (AC).FindingsThe results revealed a negative relationship between all managerial competencies and negative metatraits of Disharmony (Gamma-Minus) and Passiveness (Beta-Minus). On the other hand, Integration (Gamma-Plus) and Plasticity (Beta-Plus) appeared to be positively related to two competencies only: openness to change and problem-solving.Originality/valueAll managerial competencies fitted well in the CPM pattern with adequate degrees of fit. The discussion indicates the role of managerial competencies and personality assessment in the selection process.

Development and implementation of a community-based COVID-19 assessment centre in Selangor: A descriptive study.

With the rising number of COVID-19 cases in Malaysia and the overwhelming strain on the tertiary healthcare system, home isolation has been introduced by the Ministry of Health Malaysia to reduce the admission of patients with mild COVID-19 to tertiary and low-risk quarantine centres. COVID-19 assessment centres (CACs) have been set up to provide initial assessment, triaging and monitoring of patients with COVID-19 prior to and during their home isolation. In this study, we aimed to share our experience in setting up CACs in Selangor, Malaysia. We described the steps taken in developing assessment tools and guidelines for assisting healthcare providers in safely monitoring patients with COVID-19 undergoing home isolation. A total of 26,826 patients were clinically assessed from 1 to 28 February 2021 in various CACs in the state. The majority of the cases seen in the CACs were under category (CAT) 1 and 2. Only 0.2% (n=53) of the cases were categorised as severe COVID-19 (CAT 3 and above). CACs coordinated by primary care providers play an important role in triaging, assessing and monitoring patients with COVID-19 undergoing home isolation in the community. There needs to be a better partnership between various stakeholders and the private healthcare sector to improve the services. The usage of a pulse oximeter in home monitoring of all patients with COVID-19 in Selangor needs to be seriously considered.

Pengaruh Penerapan E-Kinerja dan Tunjangan Kinerja terhadap Kinerja di Mediasi Motivasi Kerja

This study aims at the effect of implementing e-performance and performance allowances on performance in the mediation of work motivation in employees at the Agricultural Technology Assessment Center (BPTP) Papua. Research Objectives: 1. Effect of e-performance on work motivation, 2. Effect of performance allowances on employee motivation, 3. Effect of work motivation on employee performance, 4. Direct and indirect effects of e-performance through intervening work motivation on employee performance, 5. The direct and indirect effects of performance allowances through intervening work motivation on the performance of employees of the Papua Agricultural Technology Study Center. The number of samples is 41 people, the sampling technique uses saturated samples. Test the direct effect hypothesis and the Sobel test with SPSS 23. The results of the study: 1. E-performance has a positive and significant effect on employee motivation at AIAT Papua. 2 Performance Allowances have a positive and significant effect on employee motivation at BPTP Papua. 3 Work motivation has a positive and significant effect on employee performance. 4 E-Performance directly has no significant positive effect on employee performance, while indirectly e-Performance through Work Motivation has a significant effect on employee performance at AIAT Papua. 5 Performance Allowances directly have a significant positive effect on BPTP Papua employee performance, while indirectly Performance Allowances through work motivation have a significant effect on BPTP Papua employee performance.

MT41 Medical Technology Guidance: A Review to Identify the Evidence Gaps and Data Needs

Medical Technology Guidance (MTGs) plays crucial role in adoption of medical technologies by providing recommendations to the National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE) on use in the National Health Service (NHS). We evaluated the trends and data gaps raised by External Assessment Centre (EAC), limiting the acceptance of medical technologies.

The Influence of Transformational Leadership on Employee Performance through Innovative Work Behavior as a Mediating Variable

This study aims to analyze and determine the effect of transformational leadership on employee performance through innovative work behavior as a mediating variable. This research was conducted at the Ministry of Agriculture such as the BPP (Agricultural Training Center), BPTP (Agricultural Technology Assessment Center) and the Agricultural Quarantine Center for Lampung Province. The sample used was 155 respondents consisting of 58 BPP employees, 52 BPTP employees, and 45 employees of the Agricultural Quarantine Center for Lampung Province.&#x0D; This study uses the Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) technique, through the AMOS (Analysis of Moment Structure) program. The results of this study include; transformational leadership has a positive and significant effect on employee performance, transformational leadership has a significant positive effect on innovative work behavior, innovative work behavior has a significant positive effect on employee performance, and transformational leadership has a significant positive effect on employee performance through mediation innovative work behavior of employees at Lampung Agricultural Training Center, Lampung Agricultural Technology Assessment Center, and Lampung Province Agricultural Quarantine Center.

Graduate Employability: An Update on Behaviours Prized by Employers

Abstract There is a strong need for MSc occupational psychology courses to produce employable graduates. However, many universities and students want to know what are the skills and behaviours needed by employers? To answer this question, two job analyses were completed in a multinational management consultancy and in a boutique firm specialising in assessment and development centres (Biggs, 2010). This research highlighted eight competencies that could be developed by students making them more employable. Many students have used this competency framework, not only in our successful evening-based MSc in Occupational Psychology at Gloucestershire, but at other universities and on other degrees. As such there was a call by others to ensure that the research completed over a decade ago still had currency today and that the eight consultancy competency framework was still valid. This paper sets out an update to that original research demonstrating that the framework is still relevant today.

Associations of general and abdominal obesity, and genetic risk with atrial fibrillation: longitudinal analyses in the UK biobank study

Abstract Funding Acknowledgements Type of funding sources: None. Background Observational studies have shown positive associations general and abdominal obesity, and atrial fibrillation (AF). However, little is known about these associations in individuals with elevated genetic susceptibility for this disease. Methods The UK Biobank cohort study includes more than 502 421 participants aged 40 to 70 years who were recruited from 22 assessment centers across the United Kingdom from 2006 to 2010. A total of 339 003 unrelated individuals of white British descent with available genotype and matching genetic data and reported sex were included in this study from the UK Biobank population-based sample. Individuals were included in the analyses of AF. Data were analyzed from April 2006 to March 2015. Body mass index (BMI) and waist circumference (WC) were employed for general (BMI: underweight, &amp;lt; 18.5 kg/m²; normal, 18.5 to &amp;lt;25.0 kg/m²; overweight, 25.0 to &amp;lt;30.0 kg/m²; obese, &amp;gt; 30.0 kg/m²) and abdominal obesity (WC: ≥ 94 cm for men and ≥ 80 cm for women). Then we further examined these associations in individuals with different genetic burden by stratifying individuals based on their genetic risk scores for atrial fibrillation. We compared disease risk among individuals in different tertiles of body mass index, and abdominal obesity using lowest tertiles as reference. Results Of 343 165 individuals, 185 745 (54.1%) were female, and the mean (SD) age was 57.19 ± 8.01 years. During follow-up, 18 974 of 343 165 (5.5%) developed AF with 8.2% in general obesity (vs. 4.7% control, p&amp;lt;0.001) and 6.6% in abdominal obesity (vs. 3.4% control, p&amp;lt;0.001). Compared to the normal, subjects in the overweight (HR 1.11, 95% CI 1.07–1.15, p&amp;lt;0.001) and obese (HR 1.55, 95% CI 1.20–2.01, p&amp;lt;0.001), and abdominal obesity (HR 1.35, 95% CI 1.31–1.40, p&amp;lt;0.001) had a significantly higher AF risk. Genetic risk and general and abdominal obesity were independent predictors of incident AF, and there were no interactions. Compared with normal in the low genetic risk group, general obesity and abdominal obesity was associated with a hazard ratio of up to 3.98 (95% CI, 3.73–4.24) and 3.44 (95% CI, 3.19–3.70) for AF in the high genetic risk group. Conclusions General and abdominal obesity demonstrated positive associations with incident AF in the general population, as well as in individuals with elevated genetic risk for these diseases.

The first experience in developing a training methodology for the hospital-based health technology assessment in Ukraine

Health technology assessment in the world is increasingly conducted at the hospital level, where the costs, impacts and benefits of health technology can be directly assessed in a specific hospital. One of the urgent issues is the preparation of qualified hospital staff for the implementation of hospital-based HTA. Aim. Develop and conduct the first training on hospital-based health technology assessment for hospital stakeholders of Ukraine. Materials and methods. DACEHTA (англ. Danish Centre for Evaluation and Health Technology assessment) and AdHopHTA (англ. Adopting hospital-based Health Technology Assessment) guidelines were included into the analysis. The methods of content analysis, systematization and data generalization were used. Results. The first training on hospital-based HTA was conducted in the Regional Clinical Hospital named after O. O. Gerbachevsky of the Zhytomyr Regional Council. 9 hospital stakeholders were identified by preliminary semi-structured interview: the medical director of therapy, the medical director of surgery, the deputy director of economic, the head of the monitoring department, the representative of the information and statistics department, representatives of two clinical departments, of laboratory department and department of functional diagnostics. The curriculum was build taking into account he basic HB-HTA skills needed for hospital specialist should possess and included 8 blocks, each lasting 1.5 hours. Each block consisted of both theoretical and practical components and finished with homework, which was discussed at the beginning of the next block. This approach enabled the participants to better assimilate the presented information and carefully complete the homework of each block. Conclusions. The participants of the training noted that the use of hospital-based HTA is the most relevant issue today. Making management decisions based on HB-HTA will allow a more optimized hospital budget usage. At the same time, the participants emphasized the importance of the work of a cross-functional team in conducting HB-HTA with the mandatory involvement of hospital economists. Based on training participants and HTA international experts feedback, a two-week post-graduated course "Hospital-based HTA is a practical tool for making scientifically based decisions at the hospital level" was developed and approved in the NMU named after O.O. Bogomolets.
