AbstractA little‐researched area of international business is the extent to which U.S.‐based firms have stripped decision‐making of national bias, that is, have become true transnationals. Whether they should or not, from a nationalistic point of view, is of course a matter of opinion and the topic of this article.

An Empirical Assessment of the Quality and Familiarity Levels of Selected Journals in International Business

Perceptions of quality of thirty journals which publish articles in the international business area were determiend by surveying the members of the Academy of International Business (AIB). In addition to providing judgements on the quality of journals, it was found that AIB members' familiarity with these journals was low. The results are useful to business librarians and information specialists as wella s to library users.

INTERNATIONAL BUSINESS BLUNDERS.

To carry om this study, we first wrote to academicians in the international business area for examples of blunders. Next we tried to verify the examples they supplied. Finally, we conducted an extensive review of books, magazines, and newspapers. Of the many problems and mistakes uncovered, ninety-seven met every aspect of our definition of a blunder. The major conclusion to be drawn from these findings is thai there is a high correlation between product type, geographic area, and the type of blunder.
