Vocational Education Administration, Bilateral System under the Office of the Vocational Education Commission Kalasin Province

Background and Aims: Vocational education administration Dual system of educational institutions under the Office of the Vocational Education Commission. It is a professional education arrangement that arises from an agreement between an educational institution and a business establishment. The main objective is to develop and train professional skills for students. To prepare for future work the objectives of this research are to study the following: (1) Level of administration of vocational education, dual system, of vocational education in Kalasin Province. According to the standards for managing vocational education in the dual system of the Vocational Education Commission. To assess the quality and efficiency of operations at the operational level. 2) Compare the level of vocational education administration in the dual system of vocational education in Kalasin Province. To find differences in management in various areas and the use of various approaches to develop educational quality. (3) Study guidelines for promoting or developing the administration of vocational education, a dual system, of educational institutions under the Office of the Vocational Education Commission, Kalasin Province. To suggest ways to improve and develop educational administration to be more efficient. Methodology: In this research the sample group used was a total of 196 people. The research tool was a questionnaire with a 5-level rating scale, which had a confidence value of 0.81 and an internal consistency (IOC) in the range of 0.6-1.00. This questionnaire was designed to inquire about the administration of vocational education. Dual system of educational institutions under the Kalasin Provincial Vocational Education Institute. For data analysis use basic statistics, including frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation and statistical tests used to compare differences, including t-test and F-test. Results: The results of the research found that: (1) Vocational education administration overall, it was at a high level. (2) Results of comparative analysis of opinions regarding vocational education administration classified by position, educational level, and size of educational institution found that there was no difference. (3) Guidelines for developing vocational education administration It is necessary to be supported and encouraged to be able to develop and adapt to the changes in today's industrial world. The various areas that should be developed include: 1) Quality of graduates: They must have knowledge and abilities that are accepted by the industry. 2) Curriculum development: Curriculum should be developed together with entrepreneurs and other stakeholders. 3) Measurement and evaluation: An effective measurement and evaluation system should be developed. 4) Cooperation between Educational institutions and business establishments: There should be strong relationships and cooperation in developing students. Conclusion: Vocational education administration Dual system of educational institutions under the Office of the Vocational Education Commission Kalasin Province. It is necessary to strengthen cooperation between educational institutions and enterprises. By giving the private sector an opportunity to participate in setting criteria and guidelines in various areas to be clear and consistent with the needs of the labor market. In this regard, there should be an effective evaluation process in order for management to be systematic and produce good results.

Extraction of Winter Wheat Planting Plots with Complex Structures from Multispectral Remote Sensing Images Based on the Modified Segformer Model

As one of the major global food crops, the monitoring and management of the winter wheat planting area is of great significance for agricultural production and food security worldwide. Today, the development of high-resolution remote sensing imaging technology has provided rich sources of data for extracting the visual planting information of winter wheat. However, the existing research mostly focuses on extracting the planting plots that have a simple terrain structure. In the face of diverse terrain features combining mountainous areas, plains, and saline alkali land, as well as small-scale but complex planting structures, the extraction of planting plots through remote sensing imaging is subjected to great challenges in terms of recognition accuracy and model complexity. In this paper, we propose a modified Segformer model for extracting winter wheat planting plots with complex structures in rural areas based on the 0.8 m high-resolution multispectral data obtained from the Gaofen-2 satellite, which significantly improves the extraction accuracy and efficiency under complex conditions. In the encoder and decoder of this method, new modules were developed for the purpose of optimizing the feature extraction and fusion process. Specifically, the improvement measures of the proposed method include: (1) The MixFFN module in the original Segformer model is replaced with the Multi-Scale Feature Fusion Fully-connected Network (MSF-FFN) module, which enhances the model’s representation ability in handling complex terrain features through multi-scale feature extraction and position embedding convolution; furthermore, the DropPath mechanism is introduced to reduce the possibility of overfitting while improving the model’s generalization ability. (2) In the decoder part, after fusing features at four different scales, a CoordAttention module is added, which can precisely locate important regions with enhanced features in the images by utilizing the coordinate attention mechanism, therefore further improving the model’s extraction accuracy. (3) The model’s input data are strengthened by incorporating multispectral indices, which are also conducive to the improvement of the overall extraction accuracy. The experimental results show that the accuracy rate of the modified Segformer model in extracting winter wheat planting plots is significantly increased compared to traditional segmentation models, with the mean Intersection over Union (mIOU) and mean Pixel Accuracy (mPA) reaching 89.88% and 94.67%, respectively (an increase of 1.93 and 1.23 percentage points, respectively, compared to the baseline model). Meanwhile, the parameter count and computational complexity are significantly reduced compared to other similar models. Furthermore, when multispectral indices are input into the model, the mIOU and mPA reach 90.97% and 95.16%, respectively (an increase of 3.02 and 1.72 percentage points, respectively, compared to the baseline model).

The delineation of management zones using soil quality indices for the cultivation of irrigated rice (Oryza sativa L.) in Huila, Colombia

Conventional intensive farming systems can result in degraded soil. It is therefore important to monitor this effect periodically by delineating management zones (MZ) based on soil quality indices (SQI) in order to maintain and improve the soil characteristics in a precision farming environment and obtain homogeneous rice yields. The aim of this study was to determine and spatialise SQI and delineate MZ for cultivating flooded rice in an area of Fluvisols in Huila, Colombia. Forty-one georeferenced soil samples were collected from the 0 to 20 cm layer, and the physical, chemical and biological attributes of the soil were analysed to calculate the Integrated Quality Index (IQI) and the Nemoro Quality Index (NQI) using linear scoring functions. Geostatistical tools were then used to fit semivariogram models of the SQI, and interpolated using ordinary kriging to map the MZ using the QGIS software. The IQI and NQI showed a moderate spatial correlation, which allowed three distinct MZ to be identified and delineated. Attributes, such as bulk density (Bd), total porosity (TP), soil respiration (SR), available water (AW) and soil organic matter (SOM) were significant and can be used as a guide by farmers for restoring the quality of the soil in rice production. The method proved to be effective, and provided an information base to be used in the local management of areas of rice cultivation in the study region.

RDSSMM: A FUZZY EXPERT SYSTEM FOR ENHANCED MALARIA DIAGNOSIS AND MANAGEMENT IN ENDEMIC REGIONS

Malaria continues to be a pressing public health issue in tropical regions, with its deleterious effects on human health well documented. While a minority of cases may be life threatening, delayed diagnosis can significantly worsen the severity of malaria. This paper presents the Recommender and Decision Support System for Malaria Management (RDSSMM), designed to assist researchers, physicians and healthcare professionals in malaria endemic areas. RDSSMM is made up of four main components: a knowledge base, fuzzification module, inference engine, and defuzzification module. Mayo Hospital Lahore, Pakistan was used to develop the fuzzy expert system based on experts’ opinions in the field of medicine. For ease of access, a mobile application has been included which allows patients to get primary diagnosis by keying in their physical signs that are then transformed into fuzzy membership functions. The data was collected from the outpatient department of Mayo Hospital Lahore as one way of evaluating RDSSMM’s effectiveness. Comparing its predictions to expert medical diagnoses and reports pointed out this system’s performance. Malaria risk was correctly predicted 80% of the time by RDSSMM. These findings show that RDSSMM can greatly improve malaria management in rural areas through provision of quick and accurate results, which would facilitate timely decisions regarding malaria testing and monitoring.

Modelling the present and future of Phrynosoma orbiculare habitat and wildfire distribution and their environmental niche overlap in Mexico

Wildfires are natural phenomena that have shaped ecosystems and maintained biodiversity for millions of years. However, the increased frequency and severity of wildfires in recent decades are predominantly attributed to human activities. These anthropogenic factors, including land use change, climate change, and fire suppression, have disrupted the natural fire regime and heightened the risk of large-scale, destructive wildfires. Reptiles, as ectothermic and often slow-moving animals, are particularly vulnerable to the effects of fires due to their limited mobility and reliance on specific microhabitats. Understanding the impacts of wildfires on reptile populations is crucial for their effective conservation and management in fire-prone areas. This paper focuses on Phrynosoma orbiculare, a species distributed across the northern and southeastern regions of Mexico, where wildfires are common. The study revealed that key environmental variables driving the distribution of P. orbiculare include altitude, temperature extremes, and forest composition, while fire occurrence is strongly influenced by climatic conditions such as temperature and precipitation. As fires become more frequent and severe, the niche overlap between P. orbiculare and fire-prone regions is expected to expand. These findings highlight the importance of integrating fire management into conservation planning, particularly for protecting fire-sensitive ecosystems like Abies forests. Understanding the complex interaction between fire and species distributions is essential for developing effective conservation strategies that ensure the survival of P. orbiculare and other fire-sensitive species in Mexico’s changing landscapes.

Sustainable Waste Management in Urban Area - A Case Study of the Waste Management of the Cities in China

As urbanisation continues to accelerate, the integration of regional waste treatment capacity is becoming increasingly important and challenging nowadays, as economic development imbalances and environmental problems are becoming more prominent. An important component of urban development is the generation and management of municipal solid waste , and due to differences in socio-economic status, China's world-class metropolises such as Shanghai and medium-sized cities such as Xiamen are facing the same problem. This study attempts to explore the possibilities and prospects for sustainable waste management in China's future by comparing Xiamen with Shanghai, using relevant structural models and relevant research data within the city and the region. The introduction of the concept of waste-free cities also provides a greater diversity of options for future programmes. Finding effective strategies based on China's socio-economic and cultural conditions has implications for developing countries such as China in promoting the shift from waste management to a circular economy.

Potential Identification of Root System Architecture Using GPR for Tree Translocation as a Sustainable Forestry Task: A Case Study of the Wild Service Tree

Sustainable economic development serves society but requires taking over space, often at the expense of areas occupied by single trees or even parts of forest areas. Techniques for transplanting adult trees used in various conflict situations at the interface of economy and nature work as a tool for sustainable management of urbanized and industrial areas, as well as, in certain circumstances, forest or naturally valuable areas. This study aimed to evaluate the effectiveness of ground-penetrating radar (GPR) in determining the horizontal and vertical extent of tree root systems before transplantation. Employing this non-invasive method to map root system architecture aids in the appropriate equipment selection and helps define the dimensions and depth of trenches to minimize root damage during excavation. This study specifically focused on the root systems of wild service trees (Sorbus torminalis (L.) Crantz) found in a limestone mine area, where some specimens were planned to be transplanted, as the species is protected under law in Poland. The root systems were scanned with a ground-penetrating radar equipped with a 750 MHz antenna. Then, the root balls were dug out, and the root parameters and other dendrometric parameters were measured. The GPR survey and manual root analyses provided rich comparative graphic material. The number of the main roots detected by the GPR was comparable to those inventoried after extracting the stump. The research was carried out in problematic soil, causing non-standard deformations of the root systems. Especially in such conditions, identifying unusually arranged roots using the GPR method is valuable because it helps in a detailed planning of the transplanting process, minimizing root breakage during the activities carried out, which increases the survival chances of the transplanted tree in a new location.

Implementation of Information System at SD Laboratorium UNG

This research aims to find out the implementation of the human resource information system at SD Laboratorium UNG. The purpose of the information system is to help organize all functional areas of human resource management efficiently. SD Laboratorium UNG is a school that has been accredited as superior. This mini-research was conducted using a qualitative approach and data collection techniques in the form of observation, interviews, and documentation, and data presentation was carried out using a descriptive approach, in the form of words, writing, or oral from the subjects observed, namely the principal and teachers. Based on the mini research that has been carried out, the results show that the implementation of the Human Resource Management System at SD Laboratorium UNG has been carried out, but it has not been carried out optimally, but the school has been able to utilize the development of information and communication technology for the progress of the school towards a better direction. The applications used at SD Laboratorium UNG are Facebook, YouTube, Instagram, Email, Zoom, Google Drive, WhatsApp, Ms.Word, Ms.Exel, and JunioSmart.

Identifying measures for understanding and addressing county-level disparities in adolescent HPV vaccination coverage in North Carolina.

HPV vaccination coverage is characterized by geographic disparities in the US, with national studies finding lower coverage in rural versus nonrural areas. To direct quality improvement efforts in North Carolina, we sought to understand how different rurality measures characterize these disparities. We used separate negative binomial regression models to test associations between 5 dichotomized county-level rurality measures and HPV vaccination coverage (≥1 dose) among North Carolina adolescents, ages 11-12 (n=326,345). Rurality measures were derived from: Office of Management and Budget's Metropolitan Statistical Areas, Rural-Urban Continuum Codes, Index of Relative Rurality, US Census Bureau classifications, and North Carolina Rural Center classifications. Models controlled for Social Vulnerability Index (SVI) percentile and rate of pediatricians per county. Vaccination data came from the North Carolina Immunization Registry. HPV vaccination coverage was 29% across North Carolina's 100 counties (range: 13%, 46%). Agreement between rurality measures ranged from 54% to 93% of counties. In adjusted analyses, none of the 5 rurality measures correlated with HPV vaccination coverage, but higher SVI and higher rate of pediatricians were positively associated with coverage (p< 0.01). Exploratory moderation analyses suggested regional variation in the relationship between rurality and coverage, with a positive association in one region, a negative association in one region, and no association in four regions. County-level rurality measures did not identify disparities in HPV vaccination coverage in North Carolina. Measures related to social vulnerability and access to pediatricians may be better suited for understanding and addressing the state's substantial county-level vaccination disparities.

Agile Leadership and its Impact on Strategic Recovery

Purpose: The purpose of this study is to find out whether agile leadership is considered a critical factor in influencing the strategic recovery of leaders in the Iraqi Ministry of Communications or if there is another element that plays a vital role in promoting strategic recovery and what are the organization's steps in the field of study towards implementing agile leadership requirements? Does the organization take serious steps to implement the dimensions of strategic recovery in all its aspects? Is there an impact of agile leadership on strategic recovery in the organization? Theoretical framework: This study aimed to draw attention to how agile leadership influences strategic recovery as management ideas in the Iraqi Ministry of Communications. It also measured the effect of the independent variable (agile leadership) on the dependent variable (strategic recovery). It found out whether the researched organization could achieve strategic recovery by adopting agile leadership. Design/methodology/approach: The researchers used the descriptive analytical method, tabulating and analyzing the data using a ready-made program (SPSS). The researchers chose the Iraqi Ministry of Communications/Ministry Center to represent the Study Community. The questionnaire was distributed to the ministry, including 120 directors, making the total number of questionnaires distributed 120. One hundred twelve questionnaires were retrieved, while only five were excluded, making the final sample 107 managers. Statistical methods such as Cronbach's alpha, standard deviation, simple linear regression, and coefficient of determination (R2) were used to reach the study's conclusions. Findings: Results Through an analysis, agile leadership, and its dimensions influenced the organization's strategic recovery. Research, practical and social implications: Emphasizing the need for government agencies, especially the Ministry of Communications, to ensure the need to pay attention to research variables, agile leadership, and strategic recovery in the research service. Originality/value: The results indicate that the number of publications is growing, and the management and business areas contribute the most. The countries that produce in co-authorship also provide the most publications.

Get ready: disaster preparedness and response for people with chronic illnesses living in hazard-prone Petone, Aotearoa New Zealand

PurposeThe purpose of this research is to understand how people living with chronic illness understand their healthcare needs, particularly as they can be disrupted by natural hazards events (e.g. earthquakes, flooding and landslides), which can result in chronic health conditions becoming acute. Research has shown that, because of such disruption, people with chronic illness face the greatest risk of adverse health outcomes during a disaster, placing significant demand on healthcare systems.Design/methodology/approachThe research draws on a narrative analysis of in-depth, semi-structured interviews with eight people who have a chronic illness and live in a hazard-prone location, namely Petone, Lower Hutt, Aotearoa New Zealand.FindingsTwo major narrative themes were identified: “Social Capital”, which included the three subthemes of community, social connection and support and family and friends. Tellers also experienced a strong sense of “Independence”, as demonstrated through seven subthemes that included declaration, defiance, rules, experience, acceptance, responsibility, self-surveillance and self-management.Practical implicationsPractice output from this research includes the development of fit for purpose emergency management policies and other educational resources to ensure equity, access and choice for people with a chronic illness and their communities.Social implicationsThis research produces in-depth knowledge and insight into the preparedness and response needs of people who live with a chronic illness. This is an under-research area in disaster management in Aotearoa New Zealand.Originality/valueRoutine medical treatment for people living with chronic illness can be disrupted by natural hazard events (e.g. earthquakes, flooding and landslides), which can result in chronic health conditions becoming acute. Application of Sentinel-2 imagery for total suspended solids mapping off the Bodri River, Kendal Regency, Indonesia

Total suspended solids (TSS) is one of the key parameters in water quality monitoring. TSS dynamics off the seas of Bodri River can be observed using Sentinel-2. This research validates Wirasatriya and Laili's algorithm and redevelops a TSS retrieval algorithm based on in situ TSS and Sentinel-2 reflectance (Rrs). During the satellite's passing time, water sampling for TSS was conducted at 64 stations at a depth of 0.5m in October 2023. Bottom of Atmosphere (BoA) Rrs data were obtained from SNAP software, which had previously performed image cropping and resampling. Rrs data from all bands were initially correlated with in situ TSS. The validation results of Wirasatriya and Laili's algorithms obtained very high of RMSE values reaching 272.23 mg/L and 33.08 mg//L. While the results of generating the algorithm produced better the performance of the algorithmic model with RMSE = 7.34 mg/L, MAPE = 14.24%, and bias = 0.99. The development of the algorithms in the study based on the green band (B3) resulted in the equation: TSS (mg/L) = 4.6698exp10.609∗B3, which was further used for temporal mapping. High TSS was found in nearshore areas and river mouths influenced by shallow waters. Temporally, high TSS was found in October (55.65 mg/L) and low in May (11 mg/L). The temporal variation pattern is influenced by precipitation and tides. The findings of this algorithm are very important for analyzing the evolution of land accretion in the Bodri River estuary and as a review for land management in upland areas and can be used to monitor other shallow areas.

Social and Ecological Contributions of the Taungya Agroforestry System in the Restoration of Mount Elgon National Park, Uganda

Balancing conservation objectives with the livelihood needs of local communities remains a significant challenge in the management of protected areas. The Taungya agroforestry system, introduced in Mount Elgon National Park, Uganda, in 2009, aims to address this issue by integrating forest restoration with agricultural production for food security. This study assesses the social and ecological contributions of the Taungya system in Kapkwata sub-county, Kapchorwa district, focusing on its impact on forest cover restoration, food security, income generation, and the provision of ecosystem services. Using a mixed-methods approach, data were collected from 240 participants selected through random sampling, supplemented by key informant interviews. Quantitative data were analyzed using SPSS, and qualitative insights were analyzed through thematic analysis. The results indicate that the Taungya system significantly improved vegetation cover, with the majority of participants reporting an increase in forest cover from 0-25% to 51-75%. The program also contributed to household food security and income generation, with participants cultivating crops like Irish potatoes, maize, and onions for both consumption and sale. Non-crop benefits, including access to firewood and clean water, further enhanced household resilience. However, challenges such as small land allocations, crop pests, and wildlife conflicts were identified as barriers to maximizing the program's impact. To optimize outcomes, the study recommends increased land allocations per household and the introduction of integrated pest management strategies. The findings underscore the potential of agroforestry systems like Taungya to achieve sustainable conservation and community development in protected areas

Approaches to the definition and content of the term “media management” are analyzed, the specifics and conditions for digitalization of the media market are explored. The key factors determining the further active development of media management and the media environment are identified, and the content of the digital transformation of the media market is revealed. The most relevant models of modern media management in digital management have been identified. The attention is paid to the study of such issues as key factors in the development of media management; media management as an integrated management tool; media as a tool for managing the digital economy; trends in digital transformation and development of media tools. Scientific works devoted to this problem have been studied. The characteristic features of media management as a modern methodology for managing business development and list promising ways to organize the management process, types and tools for using media in digital management are highlighted. An analysis of the current state of the media market is carried out, as well as a forecast for its further development within the framework of the domestic digital economy. The most promising areas of media management are proposed and key trends in media management are listed. Media management at its core is a direction of the digital economy, the transition to which has received significant attention as part of the development of the domestic system of expanded reproduction. Media management as a modern management tool is a rather multifaceted concept that largely determines the trends in the further development of the domestic media market and the digitalization of the modern economy. The growth of the media market contributes to an even more active digital reorientation of basic economic and business processes.

Progress in carbon dioxide capture, storage and monitoring in geological landform

Carbon Capture and Storage (CCS) is recognized as a potent strategy for managing the accumulation of human-generated CO2 in the atmosphere, helping to alleviate climate change’s effects. The CO2 gas is captured from the point source through methods such as pre-treating fossil fuels, oxy-fuel combustion, or post-combustion capture; thereafter; it is transported to a storage location and injected into geological formations. This article provides an overview of carbon dioxide capture and sequestration, focusing on its key principles, technologies, associated risks, and challenges. Direct Air Capture (DAC) and Scalable Modelling, Artificial intelligence (Al), Rapid Theoretical calculations SMART technologies are detailed as emerging and promising approaches to CO2 capture. Numerous pilot and commercial projects commissioned to manage carbon dioxide emissions are presented. Additionally, the paper explores approaches combining geological, geophysical, geochemical, and environmental monitoring techniques to ensure the secure and sustainable storage of CO2 underground. These are essential to address uncertainties, minimize risks, and build public confidence in CCS as a viable climate mitigation strategy. The successful deployment of these technologies on a global scale will require continued innovation, particularly in the areas of monitoring, risk management, and public engagement. Emerging technologies such as AI and SMART systems could play a crucial role in enhancing the efficiency and safety of CCS operations. However, the integration of these advancements with existing infrastructure and regulatory frameworks remains a challenge. Ultimately, a multi-disciplinary approach, combining technological, economic, and regulatory perspectives, will be vital to realizing the full potential of CCS in combating climate change.

The Impact of Transport Costs on Business Decision-Making in Rural Areas

Mobility challenges in rural areas can have a negative impact on economic and demographic development. People in these areas often have to move to urban areas to find quality jobs or services, which can lead to a decline in population, and economic activity. In this paper we analyze the factors influencing business decisions in rural areas. Public transport infrastructure based on short energy cycles using solar energy represents a solution to boost business decision management in rural areas.

Timely research and analysis of enterprise management systems, their competent decomposition into component parts in order to implement corrective actions to improve the final efficiency of the management process as a whole, are relevant areas of theoretical and practical scientific research. As a result of the study of existing approaches to the concept of a management system, its substantive characteristics as an anthropogenic system and directions for study, analysis and improvement at specific enterprises have been clarified. The importance of such properties of the management system in modern conditions is substantiated as: integrity, manifested in the presence of its own pattern of development and influence on the characteristics of the controlling and controlled subsystems; synergy, providing qualitatively new properties, and dynamic equilibrium, compensating for the effects of the internal and external environment on the functioning of the enterprise. As the main directions of the decomposition of the management system, the following are highlighted: functional areas of management – production subsystem, financial subsystem, personnel subsystem, etc.; management functions – planning, organization, motivation, control, etc.; object and subject of management; dynamic and static subsystems, where the static subsystem (structure, resources, controls) sets the framework for management activities, and the dynamic subsystem (management process carried out using management functions) transfers the system from one stable state to another to compensate for the effects exerted by the external and internal environment.

Collaborative water governance model for potable urban water supply in Riau Province, Indonesia

ABSTRACT The literature suggests that collaborative governance is a promising framework for addressing complex public problems while some cases have also marked failure in its implementation. Furthermore, the complexities and factors of the collaborative governance context must be understood at the early stage, as they may affect its sustainability. Therefore, this study aims to understand ‘what works and what doesn't’ and the need for sustainability of urban potable water management in Dumai City, Rokan Hilir Regency, and Bengkalis Regency through cross-sectoral collaboration and develop the best model to be developed for this collaboration. This study uses a soft system methodology in the urban potable water supply system of Riau Province with a wide range of stakeholders through in-depth interviews, thematic analysis, and the creation of purposeful activity models and rich pictures to uncover and address complex issues. The study found that the implementation of collaborative water management in urban areas with the collaborative water governance approach has worked well in the short term. However, it has not enhanced organizational autonomy or fostered trust and reciprocity dimensions in the long term. Additionally, we emphasize the importance of a collaborative supervisory board that will open internal and external opportunities.

Coastal vulnerability index for the indented coastline of Primorje-Gorski Kotar County, Croatia

The study explores the general vulnerability of the coastline, with a focus on assessing vulnerability using the coastal vulnerability index (CVI) along the highly indented coastline of Primorje-Gorski Kotar County (PGC), Croatia. Vulnerability was assessed every 25 m of the 1235 km long coastline by calculating the CVI based on five representative variables: geological setting, coastal slope in relation to terrain instabilities (rockfalls and landslides), significant wave height, coastal flooding, and beaches, which were also integrated into a single overall CVI. The length of the coastline, characterised by different relief forms, and the scale of available data required an adaptation of the commonly used methodology. The results show a low overall vulnerability, mainly due to the prevalence of relatively resistant carbonate sedimentary rocks along the coasts. However, almost a quarter of the investigated coastline is highly or very highly vulnerable to coastal flooding. Of particular concern is the fact that many of the most vulnerable areas are inhabited. Analyses at this scale are suitable for regional spatial planning. The results of the conducted research are available publicly online, which enables their practical application for planning and management of coastal areas. Adaptation to the impacts of climate change is highly dependent on the location itself, but overall, this assessment provides indications of the most vulnerable locations in the PGC, where it is necessary to limit interventions in the coastal area.
