Peningkatan Kemandirian Santri Lintang Songo Bantul dan Upaya Pelestarian Warisan Islam Nusantara Melalui Produksi Kaos Arab Pegon

The Lintang Songo Bantul Islamic Boarding School is one of the Islamic boarding school institutions that emphasizes aspects of entrepreneurial independence for its students. This community service is carried out to increase the independence aspect of the students through the production of t-shirts with Arabic Pegon inscriptions. This activity was chosen because previously the students had been equipped with expertise in the field of convection, but there were no specific specifications that would be developed by the students. The production of Arab Pegon t-shirts is an effective breakthrough because 1. The students have been equipped with expertise in the field of convection; 2. T-shirts are a convection product that can be accepted by all ages and groups; 3. Pegon Arabic script is a characteristic of Islamic boarding school products as well as an effort to maintain the Islamic heritage of the archipelago. The stages of activities carried out in community service are: 1. Workshop on writing Pegon Arabic script; 2. Entrepreneurial motivation and business analysis in the t-shirt sector; 3. Training on Arab Pegon t-shirt design and content; 4. Theory and practice of Arab Pegon t-shirt screen printing. The results of the implementation of the service are: 1. Based on the results of the pre-test and post-test, it shows that there is an increase in the students' ability to write and read the Pegon Arabic script; 2. The students understand the ins and outs of the t-shirt business; 3. Creation of several t-shirt designs and content; Students can independently apply screen printing techniques on t-shirts with special designs bearing the Arabic Pegon script

Fiqh education for adolescent girls: Study of the latanun nisa in temanggung, indonesia

Many adolescent girls in Brongkol Village lack understanding regarding the distinction between menstrual bleeding (haid) and abnormal vaginal bleeding (istihadhah), crucial aspects of the fiqh of worship governing Muslim women's daily lives. This study aims to explore the urgency, implications, advantages, and disadvantages of women's fiqh education through the Ianatun Nisa book among adolescent girls in Brongkol Village, Temanggung Sub-District. Conducted as field research, this qualitative study adopts a phenomenological approach, gathering data through interviews, observations, and documentation. Data analysis involves collection, reduction, presentation, and conclusion drawing, with data validity ensured through source triangulation. Findings indicate the significance of women's fiqh education for adolescent girls in Brongkol Village. Studying menstrual bleeding (haid) and abnormal vaginal bleeding (istihadhah) is obligatory, impacting their daily worship practices like prayer and fasting. Positive impacts include improved understanding through expository and reflective approaches, facilitated by lecture and discussion methods. However, challenges such as limited Arabic pegon Javanese script literacy among adolescent girls and methodological constraints hinder effective implementation.

Basic Introduction to Pegon Writing at MTs Walisongo 2 students Krandegan Hamlet, Sukomakmur Village, Kajoran District, Magelang Regency

Learning to read and write in Arabic Pegon is not just a skill reserved for students in Islamic boarding schools, but it can also be an additional insight for students who have never learned it or are unfamiliar with it. The purpose of introducing the basics of Pegon writing is to facilitate students in understanding the yellow books (traditional Islamic texts). Additionally, this activity aims to cultivate students' enthusiasm for embracing the traditions of scholars and Islamic boarding schools, so they are not easily influenced by foreign cultures with their Latin language instruments. This community service adopted the ABCD approach, which consists of five main stages: Discovery, Dream, Design, Define, and Destiny. As a result of the learning activities provided with the ABCD approach, students were able to master the patterns of Pegon Arabic writing and apply them in understanding the texts according to the existing rules, as well as read them correctly. Thus, the introduction to basic Pegon writing at Walisongo 2 Junior High School served as an initial foundation for seventh-grade students to master the skills of reading and writing Arabic Pegon, enabling them to be prepared to study yellow books such as Fiqh, Tajwid, and Tauhid. Consequently, in the following grades, seventh-grade students will find it easier to understand yellow books both in reading and writing

Al-Dirāsah al-Muqāranah baina Kitābay al-Jurūmiyah al-Jawān wa Matn Alajrūmiyah fī al-Bāb Marfū’at al-Asmā’

Arabic without the knowledge of Ilm Nahwu cannot be understood. The Matn Alajrūmiyah and al-Jurumiyah al-Jawan are reference books for learning qawāid (Arabic grammar), commonly used in Islamic boarding school environments. All students must study Arabic grammar as a basis for their ability to read the manuscript (turāś). This research aims to explain the differences in the preparation of qawāid learning materials, especially in the Marfūat al-Asmā' chapter in the al-Jurumiyah al-Jawan book and the Matn Alajrūmiyah book so that students can detect the ease of learning Arabic using these two books. The type of research used is qualitative library research with comparative study methods. The results of the research show that both books have complete material regarding Marfūat al-Asmā' along with relevant examples. The difference lies in the additional content, where the author of the al-Jurumiyah al-Jawan book not only presents material on Arabic language rules but also inserts ancestral advice. As for the book Matn Alajrūmiyah, the author only focuses on the rules of Marfūat al-Asmā'. al-Jurumiyah al-Jawan uses the Arabic pegon script with Javanese as the language of instruction, except in examples. The Matn Alajrūmiyah uses Arabic script and Arabic as a whole. As for the style of presentation, the al-Jurumiyah al-Jawan book uses a poetry style that is relatively easy to memorize, in contrast to the Matn Alajrūmiyah, which uses a prose style.

IMPLEMENTASI MUATAN LOKAL PENDIDIKAN DINIYAH DALAM PENINGKATKAN MUTU PENDIDIKAN AGAMA ISLAM

Early Education is a branch of science that applies teaching classical or modern as well as efforts to instill Islam as part of the foundation of students' lives to produce famous ulama' who not only understand science, but also have broad religious insight, and horizons of thought as a form of solving problems in society.The purpose of this research is to describe the implementation of the local content of diniyah education in ncreasing the religious understanding of students at SDN Keras 2 Diwek Jombang, describe the increase in religious understanding of the results of grade 1-VI students. In this study, the researcher used a qualitative descriptive research method. While the data collection methods used are: observation, interview, documentation. The results of this study are: 1) The implementation of local content for diniyah education at SDN Keras 2 Diwek is going very well, all matters related to diniyaheducation are structured. The teachers use interesting learning methods at the time of learning so that students do not get bored easily, there are facilities from the school in the form of a yellow book, a report card of student learning outcomes forone year. 2) The inhibiting factors faced in the implementation of diniyah education are as follows: a) The main obstacles when learning diniyah students are still having difficulty understanding Arabic pegon lessons. b) for students there is a lack of support from parents due to the limited knowledge of each parent. c) during the learning process, many teachers and students were hampered by the time signal during the pandemic and the use of less than optimal learning methods. 3) Evaluation of Diniyah education is seen from the average daily test scores (UH), Mid-Semester Assessment (PTS) and Final Semester Assessment (PAS).

Indonesian Muslim Diaspora: Strengthening Cognitive Aspects and Competencies Regarding Islamic Heritage in Southeast Asia

This study examined the cognitive aspects and competencies of the Indonesian Muslim diaspora in Southeast Asia through a community empowerment program to preserve Islamic heritage. Muslim communities in Southeast Asia have a historical relationship in the process of da'wah, Islamic culture, and the transmission of knowledge. Historical heritage in the form of mosques, tombs, kingdoms, and religious ceremonies is a potential for halal tourism and a challenge for the cultural conservation process. In this regard, the Indonesian Muslim diaspora plays a significant role in efforts to maintain Islamic heritage in Southeast Asia due to their shared culture, traditions, and language. Enhancing the diaspora's cognitive aspects and competencies was a priority for assistance. Therefore, various activities were implemented to improve their ability to document relevant information about Islamic heritage. This endeavor employed a Participatory Action Research (PAR) methodology to support the Indonesian diaspora residing in Malaysia, Thailand, and Brunei Darussalam. The mentoring program included Focused Group Discussions about Islamic heritage and assistance in improving skills related to data collection and writing about Islamic heritage and Arabic Pegon writing. Following the mentoring activities, notable improvements were observed in the cognitive aspects of the assisted subjects concerning historical mosques and Islamic kingdoms (13.3%), Islamic museums (21.43%), Islamic traditions (35.71%), and Islamic arts (42%), tombs (38.46%), and haul ceremonies (84%). Additionally, there was increased competency in searching and writing Islamic heritage information (13.3%) and Arabic Pegon writing (28.57%) after the mentoring. To ensure program sustainability, the diaspora actively disseminates service outcomes through online directories. Furthermore, ongoing collaboration is fostered through community-based cultural initiatives, which contribute to preserving Islamic history.

The Implementation of the Utawi Iki-Iku (Pegon Symbols) Formula Method in Basic Syntax Courses at Islamic Higher Education

This study aimed to find out the implementation of the utawi iki-iku (Pegon symbols) formula method in basic syntax (nahw) courses in Islamic higher education. This study used a qualitative approach with a type of phenomenological study to understand and explain the phenomenon of the research subjects. The techniques of data collection in this study used in-depth interviews with 4 respondents with certain criteria as well as tests on students’ learning outcomes in terms of giving i’rab and reading Yellow Books through three stages of tests. The results of this study showed that the implementation of the Pegon symbol formula method in basic nahw courses at Islamic higher education began by the planning stage that all students re-perceived the lessons they had learned; the process stage in nahwu learning used the classical Arabic Pegon method by reading the contents of the book; and the post-teaching stage referred to the evaluation in away that the students read one by one in front of the class to find out their abilities to use Arabic Pegon. Then, the impact of the Pegon symbol formula method in basic nahw courses was shown by the increase in students’ abilities to give i’rab and read Yellow Books revealed from the test and depth interviews with the students.

Literacy Activities at Islamic Boarding Schools in Banyumas Regency in the Perspective of Gordon Wells

Research on literacy activities at Islamic boarding schools is important because in terms of scientific development, learning at Islamic boarding schools is not only related to religious education but other knowledge including soft skills. This has significance in terms of accusations that Islamic boarding schools have significance for radicalism thinking because education is only focused on religious issues. The purpose of this study is to describe art and literacy activities in Islamic boarding schools throughout Banyumas Regency. The theory used is the literacy model of Gordon Wells which includes performative, functional, informational, and epistemic aspects. This research method is descriptive qualitative. The results showed: 1. There are 196 Islamic boarding schools in Banyumas Regency which are divided into 27 sub-districts; 2. Forms of literacy activities in Islamic boarding schools throughout Banyumas Regency include sermons, writing literary works, writing scientific reasoning, and acting; 3. Literacy levels in Islamic boarding schools throughout Banyumas Regency: performative relates to the reading and writing skills of Latin and Arabic pegon scripts, functional relates to the ability to bilingual between Javanese Ngapak and Indonesian, informative is the ability of the students to analyze information from readings and lectures, and epistemic in terms of creating new literacy both in the field of literature and acting which originates from the learning process

Learning Arabic Pegon for Non-Javanese Santri at Pesantren

The difficulty of non-Javanese students learning Arabic and Islam using the Pegon method is a research topic that has yet to receive much attention from academics. This article aims to analyze the difficulties of non-Javanese students in the Pegon Method. Data were obtained through interviews, observation, and document analysis. The results of this study indicate that the difficulties of non-Javanese students are caused by the Javanese language used in the Pegon method. Furthermore, the Arabic or Hijaiyah letters used to write Pegon Javanese are slightly different from the original Arabic, and the scientific foundation of Arabic for students needs to be improved. Preparatory class programs, peer tutoring, and literature translation using the Pegon script into Indonesian are some strategies for anticipating student difficulties.

Peningkatan Keterampilan Membaca Dan Menulis Arab Pegon Santri TPQ Al-Hikmah Sekuning Besowo Kepung Kediri

In order to preserve the tradition of writing using Pegon Arabic which is now rarely done, it is necessary to take action, one of which is through the learning of Pegon Arabic writing. Unfortunately, now Pegon's Arabic literacy teaching has weakened. This is evidenced by the facts that the author encountered regarding Pegon's Arabic literacy teaching. The partner of community service activities is TPQ Al-Hikmah, a hamlet of besowo village. Actually, the learning process at TPQ is not only focused on teaching to read the Qur'an but also learning about literacy using the Pegon Arabic script. But in the understanding of the pegon script is still very minimal. with the presence of this pegon arabic material. The research approach used in this study is the PAR ( Participatory Action Research) method. With the researcher program, namely "Improving Arabic Reading and Writing Skills Pegon Santri TPQ Al-Hikmah" on July 26 in Sekuning Hamlet, Besowo Village, Kepung District, Kediri Regency, more or less added changes to the students of volume 4 who have received material about Arabic pegon, students have been able to distinguish which letters can be merged and which cannot be combined. We convey this on some of the data we obtained after this program was implemented. Efektivitas Arab Pegon Dalam Pemahaman Kitab Kuning Di Pesantren Darun Najah Malang

The kitab kuning is a traditional book that contains Islamic religious lessons that are applied in islamic boarding schools, usually also called bare books, so called because they have no harakat at all. Therefore, to be able to understand the content of the text of the kitab kuning, a certain method is needed, including the Arabic pegon method. The purpose of this study is to describe the effectiveness of the Arabic pegon method in understanding the text of the kitab kuning, the achievements achieved and the advantages and disadvantages of the method. This research uses a qualitative method where the data obtained comes from research documents, interviews, observation results and documentation. Data analysis techniques take three steps which include data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. The results showed that: 1) The implementation of the Arabic pegon method in the Tsanawiyah class was divided into three stages, namely the introduction stage, the preparation stage and the learning stage. 2) The achievements that this method applies include academic and non-academic achievements. 3) The advantages of this method include that students are easier to understand the content of the kitab kuning text because it uses the local language, while the drawbacks if there is no deep understanding of Arabic grammar will spend a long time to understand the kitab kuning

Thispaper aims to describe the Sufistic style contained in the book of Fayd Ar-Rahmanby Sholeh Darat. The method used in this research is the library method which iscarried out by reviewing the literature related to the discussion theme. The result ofthis research is that Sholeh Darat is a Sufistic scholar who gave birth to the firstcommentary work in the archipelago in Javanese (Arabic pegon). interpretation canenrich the treasures of interpretation of the archipelago.

Kajian Sosio-Historis Terhadap Tafsir Faid Al-Rahman Fi Tarjamat Tafsir Kalam Al-Malik Al-Dayyan Karya Kyai Soleh Darat

This study aims to examine the orientation of the Nusantara interpretation, namely the Tafsir Fai? Al-Ra?m?n by Kyai Soleh Darat written using Arabic pegon. The writing of this interpretation with Arabic pegon proves that there are many people's interests who want to access interpretations of the Qur’?n that are in accordance with the abilities and socio-cultural space, especially the local Javanese community, considering that people at that time were still very difficult to study Arabic-language interpretations directly. The data collection technique in this article uses library research techniques with descriptive-analytical methods applied. The results of this article will describe the orientation of the Nusantara interpretation written by Kyai Soleh Darat based on the socio-historical context such as the background of writing the Tafsir Fai? Al-Ra?m?n interpretation, the objectives, methods, and styles of interpretation as well as the Locality Aspects of Fai? Al-Ra?m?n's Tafsir. From the writing of this article, it is hoped that there will be further research related to the history of local interpretations of the archipelago, especially the Tafsir Fai? Al-Ra?m?n by Kyai Soleh Darat so that this study of local nuanced interpretation can be known more widely

Digitalizing of Fiqh Teaching Materials Based on Contextual Teaching and Learning

This article aims to: (1) develop digital-based teaching materials with a Contextual Teaching and Learning approach; (2) testing the effectiveness of using digital teaching materials for fiqh subjects with a Contextual Teaching and Learning approach to improve the learning outcomes of class VII students at SMP Diponegoro Depok, Sleman Regency. This article uses an R&D research design with the ADDIE model. Data collection techniques in the form of interviews, questionnaires, tests and observations. Data analysis by t-test (one-group pretest-posttest) and N-gain. Results The development of flipbook teaching materials for Jurisprudence subjects based on Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) focused on taharah material for class VII packaged in digital form using the Kvisoft Flipbook Maker application. Flipbook teaching materials are equipped with features, namely being able to read the yellow book (Arabic Pegon), technological skills, HOTS-based questions, QR Code-based links for deepening material, habituation, exemplary stories, mind mapping and summaries. Flipbook teaching materials for Jurisprudence subjects based on Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) have been able to improve student learning outcomes on the Thaharah material. The results of the N-Gain calculation obtained from the comparison of the average pretest and posttest values ​​of 0.59 or 59% are in the category of quite effective for improving student learning outcomes in Fiqh learning.

Application of the Crossword Puzzle Method in Overcoming the Difficulty of Reading Arabic Pegon on Santri at Madrasah Diniyah Takmiliyah Al-Fithroh Sedayulawas Brondong Lamongan

Arab Pegon is a scientific heritage of the scholars of the archipelago that must be preserved. Madrasah Diniyah Takmiliyah al-Fithroh Sedayulawas Brondong Lamongan is the only madrasa in Sedayulawas village that still preserves learning using Arabic Pegon. The habit of using Latin writing, with traditional learning methods, makes the students have difficulty reading Arabic Pegon. To overcome this problem, the researchers conducted learning using the crossword puzzle method on the Date material.
 The aims of this study were to (1) describe the Arabic Pegon Learning for Santri at the Madrasah Diniyah Takmiliyah Al-Fithroh Sedayulawas Brondong Lamongan, (2) to describe the application of the crossword puzzle method in overcoming the difficulty of reading Arabic Pegon at the Madrasah Diniyah Takmiliyah Al-Fithroh Sedayulawas Brondong Lamongan.
 This research method uses descriptive qualitative research with the type of case study research. Data collection techniques in this study were observation, interviews, and documentation. The data sources in this study consisted of two sources, namely primary data sources and secondary data sources.
 The results of this study indicate that the application of the crossword puzzle method in overcoming the difficulty of reading Arabic Pegon in grade III early Islamic students in the data subject has been carried out well. In terms of the initial reading ability, the students experienced an increase in distinguishing the shape of the Arabic letter Pegon and sounding the Arabic vowel Pegon fluently. The ability to read and understand students' reading comprehension has also increased which includes reading comprehension of words, content assessment, reading speed, improving students' abilities in writing Arabic Pegon, and the spirit of learning Arabic Pegon.

Methodology of Quranic Interpretation in Faidur Rahman by KH. Saleh Darat

Abstract Kyai Saleh Darat is a scholar who wrote about 12 books in Javanese with Arabic pegon, one of which is Faidh ar-Rahman, several personal opinions of Kyai Saleh are able to describe the characteristics of his interpretation of the Koran. This is what researchers describe more broadly. The researcher uses descriptive qualitative methods with a hermeneutic approach through the book Faid ar-Rahman fi Tarjamah Tafsir Kalam Malik ad-Dayyan. The commentary was written at RA Kartini's insistence during the recitation at the house of the Demak regent, Ario Hadiningrat. He used Arabic pegon to trick the Dutch colonialists, besides that why he used Arabic pegon, because the knowledge of Arabic for the common people was limited. This interpretation uses the shades of isyari and tasawuf. And in Saleh Darat's interpretation, many are relevant to be applied in the present. Through mentoring activities at Madrasah Diniyah Takmiliyah Awwaliyah Nurussalam which uses the ABCD (Asset Base Community Development) method in exploring potential assets, students are able to write pegon according to the rules of writing Arabic pegon. Excavation of assets at Madrasah Diniyah Takmiliyah Awwaliyah Nurussalam through interviews and observations. Mentoring aims to equip students with the ability to write Arabic Pegon fluently to interpret the yellow book. The results of the acquisition in mentoring activities are that students are able to write Arabic Pegon properly and correctly. Because the ability to write Arabic pegon is a must for students of Madrasah Dinah in Islamic boarding schools.

Islam nusantara: tracing the traces of KH sholeh darat thought in pesantren literature

KH. Shaleh Darat is a cleric figure who has a big share in the spread of Islam on the North Coast of Java, especially in Semarang and its surroundings. His father, KH Umar, was a prominent scholar whom Prince Diponegoro trusted in the Javanese war against the Dutch in the north coast of Java. After receiving religious knowledge from his father, little Pious began to wander, studying from one scholar to another. KH Syahid Waturaja was recorded (studying fiqh books, such as Fath al-Qarib, Fath Al Mu'in, Minhaj al-Qawim, and Syarb al-Khatib. Kartini was amazed by Al-Fatihah's interpretation in Javanese so that Kartini understood. R.A. Kartini urged her uncle to meet KH Sholeh Darat. After meeting, to the kiai, Kartini asked that the Al Quran be translated. At the call of the da'wah and Kartini's request, KH Sholeh Darat translated it using Arabic Pegon. The book is recorded as the world's first translation of the Quran in Javanese. The first book of interpretation in Javanese Arabic Pegon is named Faidhur Rohman. Faithur Rahman's tafsir book is a Javanese interpretation, written the world's first pegon. Together with the manuscript Syarah Al Hikam KH Sholeh Darat Al Faithur Rahman kept by the takmir of the Sholeh Darat Mosque, Dadapsari, Semarang. What is interesting about Faithur Rahman is his translation in the letter Al Fatihah which explains how the belief system and tarekat (the straight path) in Islam. In conclusion, Islam Nusantara is an Islamic worldview and Islamic performance that is have balancing about aqidah and syariah, and haqiqat then tarekat. Actually, the ease of learning Islam is what gives a wind of harmony in religion and moderation in the attitude.

STRATEGY INSTALLATION OF RELIGIOUS VALUES IN PUTIH VILLAGE CHILDREN THROUGH HABITATION METHOD

Religious cultivation in children is essential in today's era. Especially during this free association. The lack of education that children receive also causes a crisis of morality in children. Writing this article aims to instil religious values ​​to create akhlaq karimah in children through Habituation. The approach method is the Asset Based Community Development (ABCD) method which focuses on asset development. From the results, it has been concluded that: 1. Habituation in morals includes Habituation in morals including, S3 (Smile, Salim, Greetings) to others or older. 2. Habituation in worship includes starting activities by reading "basmalah" and ending activities with "hamdalah" and memorizing daily prayers. 3. Habituation in faith includes reading and writing Arabic pegon, studying the yellow book and tadarus al-Qur'an. However, this must still be under the guidance and supervision of parents every day.
