The method of delivering learning orally and providing notes in the form of photocopies or notes, is less effective in saving time and less maximally obtained by students. The purpose of this study is to analyze and design adaptive e-learning media that suits the needs of teachers and students at SMKN 6 Surakarta. The method used in this study is the R&D method using the ADDIE model with only the stages of analysis, design and implementation. Observations and questionnaires are used for the data collection process, and the data analysis techniques used are descriptive statistics. Our findings are to produce e-learning to support students in the application of problem-based learning methods in the classroom. The test results show that the entire functionality of the system is working properly. This system makes the learning process with problem-based learning in the classroom more flexible and accessible from anywhere, increases collaboration between students virtually, utilizes technology to present learning materials that are more interactive and engaging..

Enhancing Cognitive Learning Outcomes in MA Al Manar Class XII MIA Students using a Problem-Based Learning Method on Biotechnology Materials

Background: Classroom action research aims to determine the application of problem-based learning methods to biotechnology material in improving cognitive learning outcomes for students in class XII MIA MA Al Manar Purwakarta. Methods: This study was carried out in class XII MIA MA Al Manar Purwakarta, which is located on Jalan Purnawarman Barat No. 71 in Purwakarta. The author had 21 students participate in this study as respondents. The method implemented in classroom action research is problem-based learning. This study's instruments included observation sheets, questionnaires, field notes, and tests. Results: Based on the research conducted, there was a significant increase in the value of biology from 23.81% to 80.95% between the odd semester and even semester of the 2021-2022 school year. Conclusion: Thus, the results of this study can improve students' cognitive learning outcomes. Keywords : Classroom action research; problem based learning method

PENERAPAN METODE PEMBELAJARAN BERBASIS MASALAH PADA MATA PELAJARAN PENDIDIKAN AGAMA ISLAM DI SMK PGRI PEKANBARU

The problem-based learning method is an active learning method that can be applied by educators when carrying out the learning process in class. Through problem-based learning, students will be invited to study independently, seek information related to problems, conduct discussions, seek solutions to solving problems, and be able to conclude. This article discusses the application of problem-based learning methods to the subject of Islamic Religious Education at SMK PGRI Pekanbaru City. This study aims to find out how to apply problem-based learning methods, the steps in applying problem-based learning methods, and the factors that support and hinder the application of problem-based learning methods in Islamic Education subjects at SMK PGRI Pekanbaru City. The method used in this research is field research through a qualitative approach with descriptive analysis of the data obtained through observation and interviews. The results of the research in this article are that educators can apply problem-based learning methods through appropriate materials, educators can apply steps and guide students with problem-based learning methods and educators can overcome some of the obstacles encountered in implementing problem-based learning methods

Penerapan Metode Pembelajaran Berbasis Masalah Terhadap Hasil Belajar Fisika Siswa

A research has been conducted entitled the application of problem-based learning methods to the physics learning outcomes of class VIII students at SMPN 3 Selong. This study aims to see whether there is an effect of problem-based learning methods on student learning outcomes in the subject of motion in class VIII SMPN 3 Selong. This type of research is quantitative by measuring learning outcomes from the post test results given at the end of the lesson. The population used in this study was class VIII, which amounted to 320 people with a total sampling technique method of taking only two classes, namely class VIII D as the control class and class VIII E as the experimental class. The research hypothesis was carried out using the t-test with the results obtained t_hitung = 5.023> t_tabel = 1.763 using a significant level of 5%. With this, the conclusion is H_o rejected H_a reseived.

ПРОБЛЕМАЛЫҚ ОҚЫТУ ТЕХНОЛОГИЯСЫН ФИЗИКА САБАҒЫНДА ҚОЛДАНУ

Abstract. The current state of pedagogical science is characterized by an active search for new approaches to the organization of the content of education, methods and means of teaching, forms of organization of the educational process. Another group of problems is rellated to the introduction of inovations into mas practice aimed at activating the educational process and arming its graduates with the skills to independently replenish knowledge, develop their cognitive abilities. Today, problem-based learning is understood as the organization of training sessions, which include the creation of problematic situations under the guidance of a teacher and the active independent activity of students in solving them, resulting in the acquisition of professional knowledge, skills, abilities and skills for the development of creative abilities. The article analyzes the structure of problem-based learning, methods of constructing problem situations in physics lessons, the possibility of using problem-based learning. The content of all the basic concepts of the theory of problem-based learning, didactic and psychological foundations of the organization of problem-based learning are proposed and the methodology and technology of problem-based physics teaching are described. The possibilities of problem-based learning in teaching physical phenomena and laws are demonstrated. The approaches to the formation of students' physical thinking based on the laws of logic formation in the process of problem-based physics teaching are revealed. The analysis of the possibilities of using problem-based learning at various stages of the physics lesson is carried out. The place of application of problem-based learning methods in the educational process on various topics, methods of creating problem situations in physics lessons in educational settings are determined. Specific developments of problematic physics lessons from different sections of the physics course are given. The method of conducting classes using the technology of problem-based learning is described. One of the government's policies is to break the chain of the spread of the coronavirus disease 2019 (Covid-19) in Indonesia. Work from home also includes Learning from Home. The implementation of online distance learning is a new thing and a challenge in itself, given the economic conditions, a geographical location that causes the internet network to become unstable, and the lack of mastery of technology. This research applies to learn with problem-based learning methods to increase student activity in learning, as well as increase student learning outcomes in class IV science subjects in the energy material. The subjects of this study were Class IV students in the even semester of the 2019/2020 school year. Is a class action research using two Proses. The increase in learning outcomes in Cycle 1 on cognitive values was 13.7%, affective values were 15%, psychomotor scores were 14%. Whereas in cycle II, there was an increase in cognitive scores, which was 10% from cycle 1. The percentage of student learning outcomes before PBL action was 60%, learning completeness in process 1 was 70%, and in cycle II 90%. So that the application of problem-based learning methods can improve student learning outcomes and student learning activities, even though learning is done online.

Problem-Based Learning on the Learning Perseverance of Indonesian Senior High School Students in Solving Mathematical Problems

Abstract Students should be encouraged to achieve high order thinking skills, in which one of the ways to build the thinking skills is through solving mathematical problems. This study aimed to observe the effectiveness of a problem-based learning method and its effect on students’ perseverance in solving mathematical problems. The subjects of this research were science students at a Senior High School (SMAN) 2 Surabaya, Indonesia, selected with clustered random sampling. The research was conducted with an experimental design, and the problem-based learning method was applied in a Science 1 Class (experiment class), while a Science 4 Class was taught by following the conventional learning method designed by the teacher (control class), where the learning process was centered on the teacher and focused on the discipline. The instruments used in this research were the learning set for both learning methods, initial and final problem sets. The research results showed that the application of problem-based learning methods resulted in better learning outcomes. Moreover, the analysis of covariance showed that the application of a problem-based learning method is effective to develop students’ perseverance in solving mathematical problems.

Efforts to Improve Learning Outcomes of Badminton Forehand Lob Game Using Problem Base Larning Method

This study aims to see an increase in the results of badminton forehand lob by the application of the Problem Based Learning Method in class VIII students of SMP Hosana Medan in the 2019/2020 academic year. The subjects in this study were class VIII with 30 students who would be given action in the form of the application of the Problem Based Learning Method towards learning outcomes of badminton Forehand lob. This study uses a classroom action method, which consists of two cycles. Learning badminton forehand strokes was carried out using the Problem Based Learning method and ended by presenting the cycle I test and cycle II test with the research instrument of the badminton forehand lob learning outcome test sheet using a portfolio sheet. After the data is collected and analyzed, the results of the analysis are obtained: (1) from the data on the results of the learning test in Cycle I, it is obtained that 15 people (50%) have reached the level of learning completeness, while 15 people (50%) have not reached the level of learning completeness. The average value of student learning outcomes is 60. (2) from the cycle II learning outcomes test, it was found that 26 people (86%) had reached the level of learning completeness, while 4 people (14%) had not The average student learning outcomes are 74. Based on the results of data analysis, it can be said that through the application of problem-based learning methods, the learning outcomes of badminton forehand lob can be improved in Class VIII students of SMP Hosana Medan in the 2019/2020 academic year.

Application of Problem-based Learning Method in Civil Engineering Teaching

The civil engineering major requires students to not only be proficient in basic knowledge, but also possess comprehensive skills such as communication skills, independent learning ability, social knowledge and innovative thinking. Therefore, in order to enable students to develop more comprehensively, teachers should break through the imprisonment of outdated teaching concepts when conducting teaching work, and can actively find teaching methods that can mobilize students' learning motivation to achieve the purpose of establishing efficient civil engineering classes. Therefore, this article mainly studies how to effectively apply the problem learning method to the civil engineering classroom teaching activities.

The Application of Problem-Based Learning Method for Hygiene Sanitation Learning Eyes

The post-millennial generation or currently known as the Z generation, is the generation born in the 2000s, the future generation born in the Internet age. This post-millennial generation does not like rigid rules, tends to think creatively and openly and is very easy to comment on. An important point in dealing with the post-millennial generation by providing specific direction for understanding ethics in social life. In the learning process, post millennial generation has visual characteristics, tries and sees the results of the process, wants the teacher as a facilitator, learning starts with "how", and is very easy to get information / knowledge. This is a challenge in determining the right learning strategy for them. With the problem-based learning method it is expected that students / vocational high school (SMK) students will be able to create something different to produce rewards in the form of money as well as personal satisfaction and freedom. Students are required to understand the importance of maintaining health by maintaining and protecting food hygiene, through controlling environmental factors that can or can cause illness and health problems.

THE EFFECTS OF PROBLEM-BASED LEARNING METHOD ON STUDENTS’ LEARNING INDEPENDENCE OF CHEMISTRY LEARNING IN HIGH SCHOOL

Chemistry learning in high school that trains and develops students’ self-sufficiency and independence has not been done optimally because learners still depend on getting information and knowledge from teachers. Problem-based learning method used in the teaching and learning process is expected to facilitate students’ with self-reliance and learning independence. This method is a problem-oriented learning method that makes students be accustomed to solving problems in order to train their ability in discoveringa concept in the learning process. Teaching learning process with PBL model is done for the subject matter of acid & base solution and electrolyte & non electrolyte solution. Learning independence assessed in this study were self-management, motivation, and confidence. The data of the study were in the form of descriptive quantitative data and analyzed using Anava / Anacova test. The research findings showed that there was a difference of students’ learning independence through the application of problem-based learning method and control method in teaching and learning process.

The Application of Problem-Based Learning Methods to Improve Economic Learning Outcomes and Motivation

The aim of this study is to determine the effectiveness of the application of Problem-Based Learning methods in improving students’ learning outcomes at the eleventh grade of SMA Negeri 20 Tangerang Regency batch 2018/2019. This study used a quasi-experimental design and the techniques of collecting data were test, questionnaire, observation sheet, and document. The population in this study were 308 students consisted of students of eleventh grade in science 1 - 4 and eleventh grade in social science 1 – 4. This study used eleventh grade in science 2 and eleventh grade in science 4 as the sample that was taken non-randomly by using purposive sampling. The students’ learning motivation for economic subjects with the material about national income is considered good based on the t-test result. The value of t-test was 5,288 where tcount > ttable (5,288 > 1,977). It could be concluded that there was a significant differences between students’ learning outcomes that used Problem-Based Learning method and those that used conventional method in economic subject of student national income material at the eleventh grade of SMA Negeri 20 Tangerang Regency. This research also found that Problem-Based Learning methods improved student’s motivation.

IMPLEMENTATION PROBLEM BASED LEARNING ON IMPROVING ACTIVITY AND PSYCHOMOTORIC STUDENTS VOCATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL

This study aims to improve the learning activity and psychomotor ability of Vocational High School (SMK) students in Metal Fabrication Technique on oxyacetillin welding study by using Problem-Based Learning (PBL) method according to Curriculum 2013. The research method uses action research research in two cycles, while each cycle consists of four stages: planning, execution, observation, and reflection. Data was collected using observation method with checklist instrument and rating scale while data was analyzed descriptively. The results showed as follows: 1) the application of PBL method on the learning of Oksi Asetilin Laser can increase student learning activity by 11,20%; 2) improvement of learning result of psychomotor aspect after applying Problem Based Learning by 20,20% with psychomotor aspect ability level that is work preparation and use of tool, systematics and work method, work result, work attitude and speed of doing work (time); 3) after the application of PBL the number of students who reached the Minimum Exhaustiveness Criteria (KKM) on the cognitive aspect learning outcome of 91.31%; and 4) Problem Based Learning is aligned with the scientific approach of the Curriculum 2013.

A aplicação da metodologia problem based learning nos projetos integradores de cursos de graduação na Faculdade Eniac

Este estudo tem por intuito relatar a experiência da construção do conhecimento por meio de metodologias ativas em sala de aula na preparação do aluno para o mercado de trabalho e descrever as vantagens de aplicação do método Problem Based Learning (PBL) aos projetos integradores dos cursos superiores da Faculdade Eniac - Fapi oferecidos na modalidade presencial. O estudo foi realizado no primeiro semestre de 2015 com os alunos dos cursos de Administração e Marketing como piloto na aplicação do método PBL em sala de aula e cuja problemática consistiu na elaboração do planejamento, organização e execução de um evento artístico. Os resultados obtidos foram satisfatórios conforme avaliação realizada pela banca examinadora composta pelos docentes que acompanharam todas as etapas da criação do projeto e pelo feedback dado pelos discentes sobre a vivência da situação problema proposta como elemento de sua formação profissionalizante e demonstrada por uma pesquisa comprobatória. Dessa forma, percebe-se a efetividade da metodologia PBL como elemento essencial na formação do sujeito no nível superior nos cursos mencionados, podendo estender-se aos demais cursos oferecidos pela Instituição.

A Qualitative Study on the Application of Problem-Based Teaching Theory on Music Education: The Example of Artvin Çoruh University

The understanding of education where student participates in the classes actively has taken place of the traditional teacher-based understanding in the student-centered education understanding which is one of the changes put forward by modern education view. What is important here is to assure that learning is more effective, efficient and permanent through the active participation of the student in the learning process. One of the modern learning methods developed for this purpose is Problem-based Learning. This theory can be summarized as giving the student a problem and having him/her on the problem; searching solution; forming the solutions in the most appropriate way by analyzing them; and finally presenting them to the teacher. In addition to the arts and music education generally given in the traditional way, the application of modern learning theories onto these fields may be of significance in terms of reaching new and extraordinary results. The application of Problem-based Learning method which is one of these learning theories is quite recent. In this study, a problem related to music education for children has been presented to the teacher candidates, who are sophomores in Class Teaching, in accordance with the Problem-based Learning theory and they have been expected to gather information on the subject, to reach a synthesis and to find a solution. Application of problem-based learning method in the internal medical teaching of TCM

Objective To explore the effect of problem-based learning method in traditional Chinese internal medicine teaching. Methods 58 students enrolled in the major of integrated traditional Chinese and western medicine in class C at the Beijing University of Chinese medicine were arranged to receive PBL（test group）or traditional teaching methods（control group）in 2 courses and complete 116 questionnaires. The teaching outcomes were evaluated by questionnaire and individual interviews. Results Compared with controls,students receiving PBL performed significantly better in terms of active classroom atmosphere, broadening their knowledge, and improving teamwork ability（χ2 were 7.16, 4.07, 4.09, P〈0.05）. Conclusion The PBL strategy has the advantage than the traditional teaching methods in traditional Chinese internal medicine teaching.
