ЭФФЕКТИВНОСТЬ ФИЗИОТЕРАПИИ У РАБОТНИКОВ РЕЧНОГО ТРАНСПОРТА, ИМЕЮЩИХ ДОКЛИНИЧЕСКИЕ СТАДИИ СЕРДЕЧНО-СОСУДИСТЫХ ЗАБОЛЕВАНИЙ, И ФАКТОРЫ РИСКА ИХ РАЗВИТИЯ

Aim. The primary objective of this study was to evaluate the effect of physical therapy on blood pressure, dyslipidemia, the level of somatic and mental health, and cardiovascular risk in river transport workers with preclinical stages of cardiovascular disease and risk factors for their development. Methods. Sixty-two employees of JSC "Tomsk Shipping Company" who were divided into 2 groups were studied. The first group consisted of riverboat workers with risk factors for cardiovascular disease, and the second group included workers with preclinical stages of cardiovascular disease and risk factors for their development. In the river transport crew, the correction of the main risk factors for cardiovascular disease was carried out following the DASH diet, moderate physical activity, application of physical factors, preventive talks, and biofeedback training. In preclinical forms of cardiovascular disease (AH of the 1st degree), complex hypotensive therapy was also applied. To study the effectiveness before and after physical therapy, BP was recorded, the level of somatic health and psychoemotional status was evaluated, the adaptation potential was calculated, the contents of total cholesterol and low density lipoprotein cholesterol, as well as absolute or relative cardiovascular risk were determined. Results. Therapeutic and prophylactic measures allow to increase adaptation and psychological capabilities of rivermen, to normalize blood pressure in all workers of the river transport crew under 40 years old, to reduce the degree of arterial hypertension in workers over 40 years old, to reach target values of total cholesterol and low density lipoprotein cholesterol in 18% of cases, to increase the level of somatic health in 1/3 of workers, and to reduce the level of cardiovascular risk in 38% of workers. Conclusion. The therapeutic and prophylactic measures carried out on the seafaring personnel had positive hypotensive, antispastic, antianginal, hemodynamic, lipid-correcting, and adaptogenic effects.

Study of the influence of some physical factors on the viability of seeds of Echinaceae pallida variety “Lebedushka”

Application of physical factors allows activating seed germination and increasing plant yield. The article presents data on testing of germination parameters of seeds of Echinaceae pallida variety “Lebedushka” under the influence of physical factors. Seeds were preliminarily immersed in liquid nitrogen for a day, and then subjected to laser irradiation, babbling and magnetic fields for a certain time. As a result of the experiments, it was determined that exposure to a constant magnetic field promoted a reliable increase in germination rates by 10.4 % compared to the control. The best germination was determined in seeds exposed to a constant magnetic field with an induction of 75 µTesla for 3 days, without prior cryopreservation (90.0 %). In the experiments with bubbling, the best germination was determined in seeds without cryopreservation ‒ 75.25 %, and in the variant of the experiment with He-Ne laser irradiation for 2 minutes without preliminary immersion in liquid nitrogen vapor ‒ 95.0 %.

Application of Physical Factors in the Chronic Endometritis Treatment: a Review

INTRODUCTION. Chronic inflammation in the uterine cavity is a fairly common problem in women of reproductive age, which negatively affects the state of the reproductive potential of the population. AIM. To present a scientific review of domestic and foreign literature covering modern methods and approaches of physical medicine used in the rehabilitation treatment of women with chronic endometritis. CONCLUSION. After analyzing the studied sources, we can conclude that the use of restorative medicine factors significantly expands the possibilities of treating chronic endometritis. Due to the use of complex or monotherapeutic techniques based on natural and preformed physical factors, it is possible to achieve outstanding results in restoring the morphofunctional potential of the endometrium. The main obstacle to the introduction of physical medicine approaches in practical healthcare is their low background, insufficient number of randomized studies that allows to use these methods as part of clinical recommendations. Further search and study of suitable non-drug regimens for chronic inflammation in the uterine cavity is needed, which will reduce the need for drug therapy.

The application of physical factors in the medical rehabilitation of children with osteochondropathy of the spine. Literature review

One of the most urgent and socially significant problems of modern medicine is the widespread occurrence of orthopedic pathology, among which the leading place is occupied by diseases of the spine, accompanied by a steady increase in pain vertebrogenic syndromes that affect the functioning of the child's body as a whole. The prevalence of this nosological form in children, according to various population studies, ranges from 0.42 to 37%. ScheuermannMau disease (Scheuermanns kyphosis) is the most common osteochondropathy in children and adolescents and ranges from 0.48.3% of the pediatric population.
 To date, the etiology of osteochondropathy of the spine is still unclear.
 Medical rehabilitation of children with osteochondropathy of the spine is aimed at preventing further progression of deformity, normalizing posture, the functions of the cardio-respiratory system and includes: rational motor mode and nutrition, conservative orthopedic measures (corsetting), kinesiotherapy, hydrocolonotherapy, massage, positional treatment, restorative and hardening procedures, physiotherapy (electrical muscle stimulation), sports (skiing, swimming).
 An important place in the review is given to the description of the stages of medical rehabilitation of children and adolescents with dorsalgia on the background of spinal osteochondropathy who underwent surgical treatment.

Comparative assessment of blood gas composition in children with cerebral ischemia during single and course application of physical factors

Introduction (relevance): Cerebral ischemia (CI) is damage to the brain tissue resulting from prolonged insufficient oxygen supply. CI occupies one of the leading places in the structure of morbidity in terms of frequency and significance, accounting for up to 60-80% of all diseases of early childhood and ranking first in the structure of childhood disability. Currently, an active search and development of new, pathogenetically substantiated, non-drug methods of treatment is underway. The purpose of the study: to study the effect of general magnetic therapy and hyperbaric oxygen therapy on the blood gas composition in children with cerebral ischemia against the background of a single and course application of physical factors. Material and methods: The results of treatment of 150 children in the first month of life with cerebral ischemia of moderate severity and intracranial hypertension syndrome, who underwent the inpatient stage, were analyzed. Depending on the treatment complex used, the children were divided into three statistically homogeneous groups of 50 people each. The patients of the main groups received physiotherapy treatment along with the standard complex. The patients of the main group I were prescribed general magnetic therapy (GMT) along with the standard complex. The patients of the main group II received basic therapy for this pathology and consecutive courses of general magnetic therapy and hyperbaric oxygen therapy (HBOT). In the course of the work, the acid-base status of capillary blood was studied. The analysis of the study results and the construction of tables and charts were carried out using the Microsoft Office 2010 office suite, the Statistica 6.0 statistical software package, and evidence-based medicine methods. Results: A comparative analysis of a single effect of various therapeutic methods on impaired acid-base balance indicators revealed a significant advantage of hyperbaric oxygen therapy in eliminating the phenomena of metabolic acidosis. The results obtained during the course administration of physical factors reliably prove the absence of a relationship between the elimination of the phenomena of metabolic acidosis, which aggravates the post-hypoxic recovery of the child's brain tissue, and the chosen therapeutic tactics for the course CI treatment, having an equivalent effect on the neurological rehabilitation of patients. Conclusion: The therapeutic effect of general magnetic therapy and its complex with hyperbaric oxygen therapy became a trigger factor for the activation of tissue respiration and cellular metabolism and led to a significant elimination of metabolic acidosis in most patients. The leading position as a catalyst for the metabolic and respiratory processes of the cell is occupied by hyperbaric oxygen therapy, which contributes to the normalization of the acid-base status of the blood in children with CI even after a single application, compared to basic therapy and general magnetic therapy.

A narrative review on biogenic amines in fermented fish and meat products.

Biogenic amines (BAs) are organic nitrogenous compounds, formed mostly by decarboxylation of corresponding amino acids. BAs are responsible for several biological events. However, if the concentration of BAs reached the threshold level, it causes mild to serious health problems in human. The objective of this manuscript was to summarize the prevalence and prevention of Bas formation, detection methods and factors affecting the BAs formation in fermented fish and meat products. Meat sausages are the fermented meat product that contains high BAs. Fish sauces are reported to have high BAs compared to other fish products. Several chemosensors and chromatography methods are available to screen and detect BAs in foods. The prevention measures are vital to avoid toxic outbreaks. The use of starter culture, application of physical factors, control of environmental factors, and use of polyphenols could prevent or diminish the formation of BAs in fermented foods. The literature survey warrants that the development of potent starter with desirable characters, maintenance of hygienic food production and regular monitoring of commercial products are necessary to ensure the quality and safety of fermented fish and meat product.

Application of Physical Factors in Complex Etiopathogenetic Therapy Patients with Coronavirus-19

Fundamental scientific research of domestic and foreign scientists strongly suggests that the progress of medicine is impossible without the widespread use of modern physical factors in the diagnosis, prevention, treatment and rehabilitation of almost all nosologically forms of diseases from newborns to old age of patients. Each micro-and macro-organism has individual bioenergetic characteristics corresponding to its type, which is the main condition for normal life activity of the organism. In the case of “alien” bioenergetic characteristics, specific biological processes inherent in this organism are disrupted, which leads to its death [1]. The biopotential of each person is strictly individual in both normal and pathological conditions. The degree of deviation of the biopotential corresponds to the stage of development of the disease, i.e. the formation of intermediate States of the body with a violation of its supramolecular structures.

The Use of Physical Factors for Seed Quality Improvement of Horticultural Plants

AbstractDue to the common trend towards limitation of excessive use of chemicals in agriculture, there is a growth of interest in methods of seed quality improvement that would be safe for the environment. These include methods based on the effect of various physical factors, such as laser light, magnetic field, seed treatment with magnetized water, electric field. The work provides detailed information on the impact of seed stimulation of these factors on germination, growth, development and yielding of horticultural plants. Summarizing the results of the study, it can be concluded that the application of physical factors in appropriate doses can be an effective way to enhance many plant parameters that increase their productivity. The beneficial effects of seed stimulation are mainly related to the first stages of plant life, i.e. – germination, emergence and growth of seedlings. In many cases, the enhancement of these features is also the result of the increase of plant yields. The increase of yield is even several dozen percent. The results of the study encourage the implementation of these physical methods of seed quality improvement into agricultural and horticultural practice.

Application of physical factors in complex treatment of puerperas with postpartum endometritis

This study aimed to investigate the effectiveness of the complex therapy of postpartum endometritis (PE) using percutaneous electrophoresis of metronidazole in the main group of puerperas (n = 43, mean age 27.6 ± 5.2 years). Patients from the comparison group (n = 42, mean age 26.3 ± 4.1 years) received only basic treatment according to the protocol. This study determined the severity of the main symptoms of PE in puerperas before and after the treatment using the clinical scale. The effectiveness of the treatment was evaluated quantitatively. Electrophoretic percutaneous administration of metronidazole combined with basic drug therapy exerted a pronounced anti-inflammatory effect at the local and systemic levels and reduced the risk of infection in endometritis. Compared with the basic therapy of PE, the high therapeutic effectiveness of electrophoresis with metronidazole was established.

The application of physical factors for the rehabilitative treatment of vertebrogenic cerebral dyscirculation

The present study included 65 patients presenting with vertebrogenic cerebral dyscirculation and degenerative change within the cervical spine in the absence of hemodynamically and/or morphologically significant lesions in brachiocephalic arteries. During the first phase of the study, 39 randomly selected patients underwent traction of the cervical spine following collar zone massage. Moreover, they were instructed to simultaneously wear a soft cervical collar. The analysis of the results of this treatment showed that a combination of physiotherapeutic procedures produces the beneficial effect in the patients with the early manifestation of degenerative processes in the form of cerebral instability. Those suffering more severe anatomical changes in the vertebral column (spondylosis, spondyloarthrosis, spinal disk dislocation) are much less likely to benefit from the proposed treatment. The patients for the second group (n=26) were selected based on the results X-ray examination; they presented with vertebral instability requiring combined physiotherapeutic treatment including collar zone massage, orthotraction therapy, and simultaneous wearing a soft cervical collar. The results of the treatment were assessed from dynamics of clinical manifestations and the results of radioisotope studies of cerebral blood flow. No complications of combined physiotherapy were documented. The effectiveness of orthotraction therapy after preliminary collar zone massage in the patients of group 2 was estimated at 88.5%. Moreover, arterial pressure in the patients with concomitant arterial hypertension was reduced in conjunction with the improvement of venous outflow characteristics.

Malignant tumours and physiotherapy

The analysis of the major studies on the treatment of malignant tumours with the application of physical factors has demonstrated that at present time no such factor can serve as an alternative to the standard combined treatment of malignant tumours, including surgery, radio- and chemotherapy. Certain physical factors can be used to improve the efficiency of conventional treatment, but large-scale well-planned randomized clinical trials are necessary to estimate and confirm their role in the treatment of cancer and other malignant tumours.

Many-level polysensory stimulation of brain functions by physical therapeutic agents

A combination of physiotherapeutic methods for neurorehabilitative treatment has been developed and applied to the treatment of 576 patients with neurosurgical problems including the loss of brain functions as a sequel to nervous system lesions of traumatic, vascular, and other origin. Methodologically, this complex is adapted to the level and extent of the lesion and the character of regeneration of the nervous tissues. It implies many-level stimulation of neuroregeneration by syndromically and pathogenetically substantiated application of physical factors in the early post-injury and postoperative periods. The proposed approach allows the brain function to be completely restored by virtue of persistent compensatory changes in the nervous system. A combination of many-level magnetic, electrical, and laser stimulation is recommended to manage lesions in the speech, motor, and visual analyzers. Combined laser and differential electrostimulation may be prescribed to patients with nerve lesions, extremely high frequency therapy to those with epileptic syndrome, combined microwave therapy to cases with impairment of consciousness, and a variant of systemic UV irradiation with underwater shower-massaging for the treatment of vegetative and asthenic disturbances. Selected physiological aspects of the action of the above physical factors are specified. This physiotherapeutic system is protected by 20 RF patents of invention.
