Evaluation of Potassium Fertilizer on Yield and Yield Components of Potato under Irrigation on Nitisols in Central Highlands of Ethiopia

Nutrient deficiency is a major constraint for potato ( S olanum t u berosum L.) production in Ethiopia. Potato response to potassium fertilizer declined with widespread deficiencies of nutrients other than N and P, farmers are discouraged to apply such fertilizer recommendations. This study was, therefore, conducted for two years (2018-2019) on nitisols under irrigation to evaluate the response of potato to potassium (K) fertilizer rates. The treatments were five (Negative control, recommended NPS, recommended NPS, recommended NPS + 3liter K /ha, recommended NPS + 5 liter K/ha, recommended NPS + 7liter K/ha). The experiment was arranged in a randomized complete block design replicated four times on farmers’ fields. Results revealed that potato yield responded differently to the applied potassium fertilizer rates. Applications of 100% NP fertilizer with 5liter/ha potassium fertilizer had a significant (p<0.05) effect on marketable tuber and total tuber yield of potato. In general application of liquid potassium fertilizer (100% NP fertilizer with 5liter/ha K) indicates positive response on dray matter and specific gravity. In conclusion, based on the findings of the experiment with application of 5L/ha liquid potassium fertilizer with 100% recommended NP fertilizer are economically optimum for potato production. Growth and production of Katokkon (Capsicum chinense Jacq) chili plants in lowland applied with gibberellins and liquid organic fertilizer

This study aimed to determine the growth and production of katokkon chili plants (Capsicum chinense Jacq.) in the application of gibberellins and liquid organic fertilizer. This research was conducted at the Experimental Farm of the Faculty of Agriculture, Universitas Hasanuddin, Makassar from May to October 2017. The research was conducted in the form of a two-factors factorial experiment. The first factor was gibberellins consisted of four levels namely 0 ppm, 25 ppm, 50 ppm and 75 ppm, and the second factor was liquid organic fertilizer consisted of three levels of 25 ml L−1, 50 ml L−1 and 75 ml L−1 with three replications. Results of the study show that application of gibberellins on the local chili plant of katokkon interacted with liquid organic fertilizer improved the vegetative growth of the plant. Gibberellin also significantly affected the production parameters of the local chili plant. The fruit weight per plant and per hectare decreased with the increased of gibberellin dosages. No significant effect of the use of liquid organic fertilizer found, however, the treatment of 75 ml L−1 showed better results in several research parameters.

Innovative technologies and equipment from “Amazone” company for fertilizer application

The development of new technologies and a complex of machines for applying mineral and liquid fertilizers is going on more and more intensively. Due to the warming climate, more frequent years with arid conditions during the ripening period of plants, the requirements for the complex of machines for applying fertilizers are changing. „Amazonen-Werke“ or „AMAZONE“ is a pioneer in precision farming, differentiated fertilization with the use of automation, electronics and telematics systems in agriculture. The article presents materials of new technical solutions for the introduction of both granular and liquid fertilizers. Especially the development and research of new machines in the arid regions of Russia, allow you to find the optimal solution in the application of liquid fertilizers.

ФОРМУВАННЯ УРОЖАЙНОСТІ НАСІННЯ СОРТІВ ГРЯСТИЦІ ЗБІРНОЇ ПІД ВПЛИВОМ ОПТИМІЗОВАНОЇ СИСТЕМИ УДОБРЕННЯ

The article considers the results of field and laboratory researches concerning the cocksfoot (Dactуlis glomerata L.) seed yield formation of Vasylynka, Oleshka 14, Inhulka 17 varieties under the impact of optimized fertilizing system with the application of liquid complex fertilizers Quantum-Grain (LCF) and concentrated boric fertilizer Quantum Bor-Active (B). It has been proved that the application of mineral fertilizers N60Р60К60 in combination with LCF Quantum-Grain+Bor-Active provides the optimum conditions for the cocksfoot seed yield formation indices (0,56–0,66 t/ha) in Ukrainian Polissya area. Variants with Vasylynka variety demonstrate the highest indices (0,66 t/ha) and exceed yield indices of Oleshka 14 variety on average by 15 %. The application of liquid complex fertilizers as top-dressing increases cocksfoot seed yield on average by 19 % in all the varieties as compared to solely N60Р60К60 application. Variants with the application of mineral fertilizers and variants with top-dressing provide the longest inflorescences: in Vasylynka variety 18,8-18,4 cm, in Oleshka 14 variety – 307–282 cm, in Inhulka 17 variety – 310–280 cm. The seed quantity in an inflorescence ranges from 250 to 314 depending on variety and fertilization. Vasylynka variety has the highest seed quantity which ranges from 252 to 314. The weight of 1000 seeds in experimental variants ranges from 1,0 to 1,2 gm and depends mainly on fertilization. Vasylynka variety in case of mineral and liquid complex fertilizers application has the maximum quantity of reproductive shoots (136 per square meter). The prospects for further research include the investigation of the impact of liquid complex fertilizers on the cocksfoot seed yield and quality.

Roka (Eruca sativa L.) Yetiştiriciliğinde Katı ve Sıvı Organik Gübre Uygulamalarının Spektral Yansıma Üzerine Etkisi

Bitkilerin spektral yansıma karakteristikleri bitki besin maddesi konsantrasyonları, stres ve diğer faktörlerin etkisi ile vejetasyon periyodu boyunca farklılık göstermektedir. Roka (Eruca sativa L.) gibi yaprağı yenen sebzelerde verimi arttırmak ve tüketicinin tercih ettiği koyu yeşil yaprak rengini kısa sürede sağlayabilmek için yoğun gübreleme yapılmaktadır. Bu çalışmada roka bitkisine artan dozlarda tabandan uygulanan katı ve sıvı organik gübre uygulamalarının, elektromanyetik spektrumun farklı dalga boyu aralığındaki enerji kullanımı üzerine etkileri araştırılmıştır. Çalışma kontrollü sera ortamında tesadüf parselleri deneme desenine göre yürütülmüştür. Denemede bitki yetişme periyodu süresince farklı dozlarda tabandan katı organik gübre (KOG) ve damlamadan sıvı organik gübre (SOG) uygulanmıştır. Bu süreçte elektromanyetik spektrumun 330-1075 nm dalga boyu aralığında el spektroradyometresi ile spektroradyometrik ölçümler gerçekleştirilmiştir. Araştırma sonucunda, her ölçümde uygulamalar ve dönemler arasında istatistiksel olarak farklılıkların olduğu tespit edilmiştir. Katı+sıvı organik gübre uygulamalarının spektral yansıma üzerinde oluşturduğu varyasyonun en fazla ve en az olduğu ölçümler sırasıyla mavi band bölgesinde; 4. ve 8. ölçümler, yeşil band bölgesinde; 5. ve 3. ölçümler, kırmızı band bölgesinde; 2. ve 8. ölçümler, yakın infrared band bölgesinde ise; 2. ve 7. ölçüm dönemlerinde tespit edilmiştir. Bu sonuçlar doğrultusunda varyasyonun en fazla ve en az olduğu ölçüm dönemlerinin bitki stres koşullarının tespit edilmesinde belirleyici olduğu sonucuna ulaşılmıştır.

Traction-speed properties of wheeled mobile power equipment for agricultural purposes

The studies were carried out to determine the compliance of traction-speed performance of the tractor as part of the machine-tractor unit with aggregation requirements, taking into account the random nature of changes in external factors. The work was carried out using the example of the assembly Fendt 936 Vario + AVA-12.6 “Agropitatel” in Leninsk-Kuznetsk district of Kemerovo region in 2017. Using the control dynamometer method, the probabilistic characteristics of the traction resistance of the machine, its dependence on the speed of movement in the operations of the main tillage and intra-soil liquid fertilizer application were determined. The studies were carried out on medium humus on stubble background with depth of soil treatment and fertilizing of 21 cm and the average length of run 1100 m. The tractor Fendt 936 Vario does not ensure compliance with the requirements for operating speed and slipping of propellers when working within the range of average specific drag. Power equipment with the estimated parameters will improve the traction coefficient of performance for 4.7…13.6% in comparison with the tractor Fendt 936 Vario, which will increase the average working traction on the hook, which is implemented without violation of the established requirements. The result will be an increase in the average operating speeds of the unit and an increase of its net hourly productivity.

Design and Development of Fertilizer Metering System for Tractor drawn Liquid Fertilizer Applicator

A pressurized fertilizer metering system was developed for Tractor drawn Liquid Fertilizer Applicator. The liquid fertilizer metering system constituted a pump, control valve and a distributor unit. A circular distributer with an inner and outer diameter of 52 mm and 72 mm, respectively and a thickness of 10 mm was fabricated. Nine holes, each of 8 mm size were drilled around the periphery of the distributor at a spacing of 10 mm for connecting delivery pipes. A setup was fabricated to measure the discharge pattern and discharge uniformity among delivery pipes. The distribution uniformity was in the range of 96.7 to 99.1 %, 96.7 to 99.5 % and 92.8 to 99.1 %at pressure levels of 0, 1 and 2 kg/cm2, respectively at different pump speeds. The pumping system used for metering liquid fertilizer was capable of giving a flow rate variation of 0.74 l min-1 to 2.85l min-1 for different pump rpm

Design of liquid fertilizer applicator based on Variable Rate Application (VRA) for Soybean

The process of fertilization is one of the phase that is very important in improving the quality and quantity crops. The needs of plants nutrient on one stretch of the fact that not entirely uniform. In addition the use of chemical fertilizer continously with the doses increasing each year can upset the balance lands nutrient therefore it is necessary variable-rate liquid fertilizer applicator to set a dose of fertilizer required by the plant. This study attempts to design and test the performance of variable-rate liquid fertilizer applicator and soil nutrrient test. The applicator can be used to 4 line the soybean plant with distance cropping 40x20 cm. This applicator can control travel speed and dosage of fertilizers that were out of 4 Nozzle. Evaluation and its performance tested in the laboratorium. Discharge that was issued on PWM motor sprayer variations 40 to 100% produce discharge markedly dissimilar variations on each of the PWM sprayer. In application uniformity evaluations use the coefficient of variation (CV). The coefficient of variation of the discharge range 2.71-12.37% and there is a diversity of N, P and K soil contents in each land tested although the changes are not too different.

Совершенствование средств механизации и агротехнологий в горных и предгорных районах Северного Кавказа

Abstract. The authors presented the results of scientific research and experimental development, on the basis of which a prototype was designed and created for applying liquid fertilizers to the grass and the soil surface of mountain meadows and pastures in order to improve them, reduce erosion processes and increase productivity. The aim of the work: to develop and create a combined multifunctional unit for the application of liquid fertilizers on mountain meadows and pastures, providing an increase in the productivity of agricultural landscapes and profitability of agricultural production by 15–20 %. The object of the study are fertilizer application rates and interchangeable working parts: a container for liquid mineral fertilizers, a collector of sprayers, tips. The novelty of the technical solution lies in the fact that a combined multifunctional unit based on a chisel cultivator ССМ-2,4 was created for the first time. The research of the unit was carried out on the basis of the workshop of the mechanization group of the North Caucasus Research Institute of Mining and Piedmont Agriculture (NCRIMPAC) and at the high-altitude experimental site in the village of Dargavs Prigorodny district of North Ossetia-Alania. When creating a prototype of a unit for applying liquid fertilizers, the developments of the authors are used and combined, which are confirmed by the issuance of patents for useful model of the Russian Federation No. 144420 and No. 130781. As a result of the application of the developed prototype of the unit, the erosion processes are reduced, the productivity and profitability of the sloping lands increases, and the botanical composition of the herbs is improved. It was established that the design and functionality of the proposed unit also allow it to be used in the mountain zone in nursery farms and on tilled crops with simultaneous application of liquid fertilizers in the forest zone. The use of a prototype unit will reduce erosion and other types of degradation of the fertile soil in the mountains, solve the problem of surface improvement of hayfields and pastures and, as a result, increase the productivity of forage lands by 15–20 %.

Growth of passion fruit plants on various origins of cuttings and concentration of Liquid Organic Fertilizer

It is a report of an experiment aimed to determine part of branch cutting along with the concentration of liquid organic fertilizer which is best for the growth of passion fruit seedling. The experiment took place in Lemo-Lemo Village, Sub-district of Pattapang-Tinggi Moncong, Regency of Gowa Regency, South Sulawesi. The experiment was designed in the form of a 2-factor factorial experiment in a Randomized Block Design. The first factor consisted of four levels of concentration of liquid organic fertilizer, namely: (1) without application of liquid fertilizer, (2) concentration of 5 mL L-1, (3) concentration of 10 mL L-1, and (4) concentration of 15 mL L-1. The second factor was the source of cuttings with three levels: (1) base cutting, (2) middle cutting, and (3) tip cutting. The results showed that application of liquid organic fertilizer of 10 mL of L-1 gave the best influence on several variables. They were shoot length (38.33 cm), number of leaves (9.17 leaf unit), number of branches (7.33 branch), length root (22.27 cm), and leaf area (13.81 cm2). Compared to base and tip cuttings, the middle cuttings gave the best influence on several variables. These variables were: shoot length (38.33 cm), number of leaves (9.17 leaf unit), number of branches (7.33 branches), root length (22.27 cm), and leaf area (15.67 cm2). The interaction between the concentration of 10 ml L-1 and the middle cutting gave the best effect on shoot length (38.33 cm) and root length (22.27 cm).

Growth and production of determinate tomato (Lycopersicum esculentum Mill) with application package of bio-slurry

This study aimed to analyze the growth and production of tomato (Lycopersicum esculentum Mill) with the application of liquid bio-slurry fertilizer at different concentration and interval of application. The design of this study was a Randomized Block Design (RBD) consisting of eight packages of liquid bio-slurry treatment and fertilization intervals with three replications. Eight packages of treatments are: 60 ml L-1 & 3-day interval; 60 ml L-1 & 6-day interval; 120 ml L-1 & 3-day interval; 120 ml L-1 & 6-day interval; 180 ml L-1 & 3-day interval; 180 ml L-1 & 6-day interval; 240 ml L-1 & 3-day interval; and 240 ml L-1 & 6-day interval. The results showed that the treatment package significantly affected all parameters. The package of 240 ml L-1 & 3-day interval gave the best results on the parameters of average plant height of 7 weeks after planting (wap) (107.53 cm), age of harvest (73 dap), and fruit production parameter (316.83 g).

Effect of spraying time and concentration of liquid fertilizer on the growth and yield of broad bean (Vicia faba L.)

A field experiment was conducted in autumn season of 2018–19 at farmers’ field in Azzawi area of Babil province in Iraq. The experiment was conducted in split-split plot randomized complete block design. The treatment combinations consisting of two broad bean varieties viz., V1 (LUZ De Otono) and V2 (Aqaudulce), three dates of liquid fertilizer spray i. e. D1(15th November, 2018), D2(15th December, 2018) and D3(15th January, 2019) and three concentrations of liquid fertilizers i. e. F0(No spray, control), F1(10 mg/l) and F2 (20 mg/l) were allotted in experimental plots with complete randomization. The growth and yield parameters of faba bean were significantly affected by varieties, liquid fertilizer application time and concentration. The number of pods per plant significantly increased from 15.73 under F0 treatment of liquid fertilizer spray concentration to 27.22 pods per plant under F3 spray concentration. The weight of 100 seeds significantly increased from 52.43 g in V2 variety under F0 treatment of liquid fertilizer spray concentration to 85.17 g under F2 treatment in V1 variety. The seed yield per plant significantly increased from 47.63 g under F0 liquid fertilizer spray concentration to 59.49 g under F3 treatment. The protein content in seed of faba bean significantly increased from 22.91% under F0 liquid fertilizer spray concentration to 23.71% under F2 treatment. On the basis of these results, it is recommended that faba bean variety LUZ De Otono can be grown successfully in Azzawi area of Babil province in Iraq.

Effect of silicate fertilizers on wheat and soil properties in Southeastern Buenos Aires province, Argentina. A preliminary study

Silicon is a major component in soils and is essential for the development of certain crops that produce silicophytoliths. Although there are studies about the effect of silicate fertilizers, there is no research in soils of the Pampean Plains of Argentina. Therefore, the aim of this work was to evaluate the effect of two different sources of silicate fertilizers on plant and soil available silicon content and its role in the physical and chemical properties of agricultural soils under a wheat crop in southeastern Buenos Aires province. Field tests were carried out with the application of liquid and powder silicate fertilizers. Si content was analyzed in plant material. Morphological, physical and chemical properties were determined on surface soil samples. The Si content on wheat has doubled throughout the trial. The contribution of Si to the soil solution would be similar with both silicate fertilizers and the available phosphorus content showed a negative relationship with the available Si content. Such fertilization slightly influenced the structural stability and granulometry of soils. Although this work shows the first results about the effect of silicate fertilizers in agroecosystems of Argentina, it is necessary to deepen the knowledge about their effect on plant and soil quality.

Effects of foliar application of amino acid liquid fertilizers, with or without Bacillus amyloliquefaciens SQR9, on cowpea yield and leaf microbiota.

Leaf surface fertilization with liquid fertilizer produced from amino acids constitutes a potentially important source of nitrogen and is important for plant production. However, few reports have focused on the plant growth promotion by novel liquid fertilizers created by new amino acid resources, let alone the influence on leaf microbiota. In this study, the effects of liquid fertilizer, created by amino acids hydrolyzed from animal hairs with or without the PGPR strain Bacillus amyloliquefaciens SQR9, on crop yield and leaf microbiota were investigated. The results showed that leaves sprayed with amino acid liquid fertilizer (AA) and liquid biological fertilizer (AA9) persistently increased cowpea yields compared to the control amended with chemical fertilizer (CF). Fertilization with amino acid fertilizer showed no significant difference in microbial composition compared with the CF treatment; however, the introduction of functional microbes altered the microbial composition. Pearson correlation analysis, VPA analysis and SEM models all revealed that the amino acids liquid fertilizer application, but not the functional strain or the altered microbiota, performed as the direct driver attributing to yield enhancement. We conclude that leaf fertilization with a novel amino acid liquid fertilizer can greatly enhance the crop yield and that the addition of beneficial microbes may perform the role in further altering the composition of leaf microbiota.

PEMANFAATAN PUPUK CAIR LIMBAH SAYUR DAN BUAH PADA KACANG TANAH (Arachis hypogea L.) DI DATARAN RENDAH KOTA PALOPO

This study aims to determine the effect and concentration of liquid fertilizer prepared from fruit and vegetable waste on the growth and yield of peanut plants. This research was carried out in the Experimental Field of the Faculty of Agriculture, University of Cokroaminoto Palopo, Jalan Lamaranginang, Batupasi Village, Wara Utara District, Palopo City. The experimental method used was a randomized block design (RBD) consisting of 5 treatments and 4 replications to comprise 20 experimental units. Each experimental unit consisted of 2 plant units so that there were 40 plant samples. The parameters observed were plant height, flowering age, root length, pod weight and the number of seeds. The results showed that the application of liquid fertilizer prepared from fruit and vegetable waste had a significant effect on the growth and yield of peanut plants. The effective concentration of fruit and vegetable waste liquid fertilizer was P4 (250 mL.L-1 water) that produced the best plant height with an average value of 20.93 cm, the average age of flowering was 33 days, the average root length was 4.49 cm, and the best average pods (22.77 grams), while a concentration of 200 mL.L-1 water (P3) produced the best average number of seeds (340.25 seeds).

Structure optimization of cam executive component and analysis of precisely applying deep-fertilization liquid fertilizer

Since there are some problems in the previous cam of deep-fertilization liquid fertilizer applicator, such as poor precision and low-fertilization performance, a method of the contour line of a cam was proposed based on Matlab GUI development platform. Bernoulli’ equation between the liquid fertilizer and the pressure valve of the fertilizer-spraying needle was founded. Moreover, the motion angles of a rise travel and return travel were corrected and the corresponding parameters of the contour line of the cam were obtained. Equations of cam moving from rise travel to return travel were derived according to the simple harmonic motion. In addition, 3D model of cam was established by applying the Pro/E software and the rationality of the cam design was verified. The static analysis of the cam was carried out under working conditions and the corresponding dynamics analysis was performed based on D’Alembert’s principle. And then relationships between the binding force and the drag torque were obtained. A bench test indicates that when the pressure of a hydraulic pump is 0.5 MPa and the velocity of a output shaft is 50 r/min, the average consumption of the fertilizer is 19.7 mL for each measurement, which meets the corresponding agronomic requirement, i.e. 20 mL. When the rotation angle of the cam is 8.6° and the rise displacement of a plunger is 0.84 mm, the mouth of the fertilizer-spraying needle sprayed liquid fertilizer as soon as it got into the soil and stopped spraying as soon as it got out of the soil. The results show that the designed contour line of the cam meets the requirement, that is, the mouth of the fertilizer-spraying needle should spray liquid fertilizer as soon as it gets into the soil and stop spraying as soon as it gets out of the soil, which meets the agronomic requirements, that is, fertilizer should be sprayed deeply and precisely. And this study lays a theoretical foundation for designing the cam of intermittent type distributor and provides relevant parameters. APPLICATION OF ORGANIC LIQUID FERTILIZERS IN THE CONDITIONS OF FARMS

Recently, the Myronivsky Hliboproduct agricultural holding began construction of a large biogas station. The main component of biogas production is chicken manure, which can be more than ten thousand tons daily. According to the technology, biogas can be used for burning thermal plants to produce heat and electricity. But after the process of biogas production, a large amount of liquid remains that can be used as an organic fertilizer. Storage, transportation and application of liquid fertilizers require large funds and deserve to study the methods of their introduction, including means of mechanization for various types of farms. This article will consider the option of applying liquid organic fertilizers for farms. The basis of the article is the scientific development of the Department of Agricultural Engineering and Technical Service of Vinnitsa National Agrarian University.

Utilization of urine and weed of Chromolaena odorata as a basic materials for liquid fertilizer

In Indonesia, livestock urine is considered as waste, while weed of Choromolaena odorata, which are very toxic to ruminants is abundant in grassland area. These two materials have great potential to improve soil fertility because they can be made to organic fertilizer through fermentation. Fermentation of mixed urine, Chromolaena, and water with the proportion of 25:25:50% added with a small proportion of yeast tape, a liquid fertilizer produced with nutrient contents of N, P2O5, and K2O was 2.30, 0.32 and 0.15%, respectively. The research results showed that the application of liquid fertilizer significantly improved (P <0.01) the growth and biomass production of Panicum maximum, Brachiaria decumbens and Pennisetum purpureum whether Panicum maximum showed the best response.

Mineral fertilizers with iron influence spring rape, maize and soil properties

ABSTRACTBecause of low content of available iron (Fe) in soils and its poor mobility in plants, iron fertilization is necessary. Different forms of iron (mineral salts, chelates, nanomaterials) and fertilization strategies (soil and foliar application of solid or liquid fertilizers) are used. The effect of solid mineral fertilizers (A: a mixture of ammonium nitrate and dolomite; B: a mixture of ammonium nitrate and sulfate) enriched with iron sulfate was assessed during a three-year pot experiment. Iron addition did not change the yield of spring rape (first year) or maize (second and third year) significantly, and the effect on iron content in the plants was ambiguous. Fertilizer B with iron had the greatest yield-forming effect, increasing the yield of aboveground parts by 355–874%, and of roots by 211–692% in particular years. All fertilizers (especially containing sulfur) acidified the soil. After the experiment, pH of the soil fertilized with sulfur was 4.1, and of the unfertilized soil – 5.2. Iron addition increased the content of mobile and exchangeable iron in the soil by 12–110% and 2–58%, respectively, but not the content of the fraction bound to MnOx. Combination of sulfur and iron fertilization has a potential to improve soil abundance and plant yield.

Yield and Quality of Malt Barley (Hordeum vulgare L.) in Response to Special Liquid Fertilizer (Trafos Synergy) Application in the Central Highlands of Ethiopia

Fertilizer application requirement to crops varies from location to location due to several factors. Thus, there is a need to evaluate response of yield and quality of malt barley to liquid fertilizer applications. Accordingly, an experiment was conducted to evaluate different dose of liquid fertilizer applications on yield and yield components of malt barley at Welmera (Holeta and Telecho) and Ejere (Cheri) districts during 2016 and 2017 main cropping season. The experiment was laid out in randomized complete block design with four replications. The treatments were different doses of Trafos synergy with the recommended NP, that is,0, 100% NP, 100% NP + Trafos synergy 4 L/ha, 100% NP + Trafos synergy 2 L/ha and 100% NP + Trafos synergy 6 L/ha). Applications of recommended NP and Trafos synergy liquid nutrient sources in combination had a significant (p&lt;0.05) effect on grain and biomass yield of malt barley. The highest grain yield (3251.1kg/ha) was obtained from the application of 100% NP + Trafos synergy 6 L/ha) at Cheri. Based on economic analysis, application of 100% recommended NP with Trafos synergy 4 L/ha fertilizer at HARC and Cheri site indicates promising for barley production on yield and grain quality.
