Discussion on the New Trends of International Trade and Its Countermeasures in the Digital Era

With the advent of the digital economy era, international trade is undergoing profound changes. This study analyzes in detail the new trends and challenges of international trade in the era of digital economy, including the wide application of digital technology, the new characteristics of data flow, and the reconstruction of digital trade rules. On this basis, the corresponding countermeasures and suggestions are put forward, aiming to promote the sustainable development of international trade in the era of digital economy.

Do political connections facilitate or inhibit firms' digital transformation? Evidence from China's A-share private listed companies.

Given the advent of the digital era, digital transformation has become necessary for enterprise development. Political connections are the most important resources for enterprise development in most countries. However, the impact of political connections on corporate digital transformation has yet to be verified. This study uses ERNIE, a large language model, to construct a measurement of corporate digital transformation from the perspective of digital technology application through a textual analysis of the annual reports of A-share privately listed companies from 2008 to 2020 and analyzes the impact of political connections on corporate digital transformation and its mechanism of action. The findings demonstrate that political connections have a significant inhibitory effect on corporate digital transformation. This conclusion still holds after a series of robustness and endogeneity tests. The mechanism analyses demonstrate that political connections primarily affect corporate digital transformation through three mechanisms: weakening risk, inhibiting innovation, and enhancing resource crowding. We theoretically expand the understanding of the economic impact of political connections and provide new ideas for accelerating enterprise digital transformation from the perspective of policy makers.

Enterprise service-oriented transformation and sustainable development driven by digital technology

The deep integration of digital technology and the real economy not only affects the production and operation mode of enterprises, but also becomes the promoter of service-oriented transformation and the driving force of sustainable development. Based on the text analysis method, this paper uses the data of Chinese listed manufacturing enterprises from 2011 to 2020 to study the impact of digital technology application on the service-oriented transformation and sustainable development of enterprises. It is found that digital technology application significantly improves the environmental performance and economic performance of enterprises by driving their service-oriented transformation and technological innovation, and then enhances their sustainable development. The improvement effect of digital technology application on the sustainable development of resource-based enterprises and capital-intensive enterprises is more significant. The conclusion in this paper provides micro-evidence for understanding the role of digital technology in addressing environmental issues and sustainable development.

Realization of Urban Perception Art: Painting Expressions of Internet of Things Technologies in Urban Environments

INTRODUCTION: With the continuous progress of urbanization, people's perceptions and experiences of the urban environment are increasingly concerned. Traditional forms of artistic expression can no longer fully meet people's needs for urban perception. Therefore, it is especially important to explore new possibilities of urban perception art with the help of modern technology, especially intelligent technology.OBJECTIVES: The main purpose of this study is to explore the feasibility and effectiveness of utilizing advanced technology for urban perception art expression. Through an in-depth understanding of the urban environment and the perceptual needs of urban residents, as well as existing technological means, artistic expressions that can present urban perceptions more intuitively and vividly are developed.METHODS: This study adopts a combination of field research and art practice. Through urban observation and questionnaire surveys, the subjective experience and needs of urban residents for urban perception were collected. Then, using digital painting and video technology, combined with the principles of perception psychology, urban perception works with artistic and technological senses were designed.RESULTS: A series of urban perception artworks were designed in this study, covering all aspects of urban life, including architectural landscapes, transportation scenes, and humanistic customs. These works enable viewers to perceive the urban environment in a more intuitive and immersive way through digital painting and video technology, as well as real-time data and perceptual feedback.CONCLUSION: By exploring new ways of artistic expression of urban perception, this study provides urban residents with a richer and deeper experience of urban perception. The application of digital painting and video technology, as well as the interaction and feedback with urban residents, opens up new possibilities for the development of urban perceptual art. 

Digital transformation and resilience of supply chain in manufacture listed firms: a backward spillover effects in the vertical supply chain relationship

Enhancing supply chain resilience is crucial for promoting high-quality economic development, and the application and innovation of digital technologies play a significant role in achieving this resilience. Based on the vertical relationship theory of industrial organization, this paper investigates the impacts and transmission mechanism of corporate digital transformation on supply chain resilience, demonstrating that digital transformation facilitates the optimization of supply-demand alignment, stabilization of the supply-demand connection, provision of supplier innovation capabilities, and, ultimately, the enhancement of supply chain resilience. The primary impact is achieved by improving the firms' total factor productivity and reducing resource mismatch.

Does digital transformation benefit innovation in manufacturing firms? Empirical evidence based on data mining and textual analysis methods

With the increasing spread of the digital economy and the application of digital technologies, more and more manufacturing enterprises have begun to improve the efficiency of digital transformation with the help of big data and other digital technologies to promote the high-quality development of enterprises. Through the open big data platform, manufacturing enterprises can collect data and information reflecting the needs of users in a timely manner to achieve real-time optimization of the production process and timely detection of problems to a certain extent, thereby improving the ability to research and innovation. Through the establishment of econometric models and empirical tests, we also find that the education level of managers affects the process of digital transformation and influences the impact of digital transformation on innovation.

Digital Health Interventions and Patient Safety in Abdominal Surgery

Over the past 2 decades, several digital technology applications have been used to improve clinical outcomes after abdominal surgery. The extent to which these telemedicine interventions are associated with improved patient safety outcomes has not been assessed in systematic and meta-analytic reviews. To estimate the implications of telemedicine interventions for complication and readmission rates in a population of patients with abdominal surgery. PubMed, Cochrane Library, and Web of Science databases were queried to identify relevant randomized clinical trials (RCTs) and nonrandomized studies published from inception through February 2023 that compared perioperative telemedicine interventions with conventional care and reported at least 1 patient safety outcome. Two reviewers independently screened the titles and abstracts to exclude irrelevant studies as well as assessed the full-text articles for eligibility. After exclusions, 11 RCTs and 8 cohort studies were included in the systematic review and meta-analysis and 7 were included in the narrative review. Data were extracted according to the Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses (PRISMA) reporting guideline and assessed for risk of bias by 2 reviewers. Meta-analytic estimates were obtained in random-effects models. Number of complications, emergency department (ED) visits, and readmissions. A total of 19 studies (11 RCTs and 8 cohort studies) with 10 536 patients were included. The pooled risk ratio (RR) estimates associated with ED visits (RR, 0.78; 95% CI, 0.65-0.94) and readmissions (RR, 0.67; 95% CI, 0.58-0.78) favored the telemedicine group. There was no significant difference in the risk of complications between patients in the telemedicine and conventional care groups (RR, 1.05; 95% CI, 0.77-1.43). Findings of this systematic review and meta-analysis suggest that perioperative telehealth interventions are associated with reduced risk of readmissions and ED visits after abdominal surgery. However, the mechanisms of action for specific types of abdominal surgery are still largely unknown and warrant further research.

[Digital twin hospitals: transforming the future of healthcare].

Since the concept of digital twin technology has been put forward, after decades of rapid development and wide application, it has not only made great achievements in many fields, but also brought broader prospects for the development of the medical field. As an important trend in the medical industry, digital twin hospitals play multiple roles by connecting physical hospitals and virtual hospitals and benefit the "patient-medical staff-hospital administrators", highlighting the immeasurable promising application of digital twin technology in smart hospitals. This review takes digital twin technology as an entry point, briefly introduces the progress of its application in various fields, focuses on the characteristics of digital twin technology, practical application cases in hospitals and their limitations, and also looks forward to its future development prospects, aiming to provide certain useful insights and guidance for the future of digital twin hospitals, and also expecting it to play an important role in changing the future of healthcare to a certain extent.

Research advances and trends in anatomy from 2013 to 2023: A visual analysis based on CiteSpace and VOSviewer.

As the cornerstone of medicine, the development of anatomy is related to many disciplines and fields and has received extensive attention from researchers. How to integrate and grasp the cutting-edge information in this field quickly is a challenge for researchers, so the aim of this study is to analyze research in anatomy using CiteSpace and VOSviewer in order to identify research hotspots and future directions. To offer a fresh viewpoint for assessing the academic influences of researchers, nations, or institutions on anatomy, and to examine the development of hotspots in anatomical study and to forecast future trends. A total of 4637 anatomy-related publications from 2013 to 2023 were collected from Web of Science Core Collection databases. Their temporal distribution, spatial distribution, cited authors, co-cited journals, keywords, and disciplinary connections in the literature were analyzed using CiteSpace and VOSviewer, and a knowledge graph was constructed. The temporal distribution shows a general fluctuation in the amount of literature published from 2013 to 2023. In spatial distribution, the total number of published articles was highest in the United States, the United Kingdom, and China, the United States leading. Tubbs, Rhoton, Iwanaga, and LaPrade are important authors in anatomy. Clinical Anatomy, Surgical and Radiologic Anatomy, and Journal of Anatomy were the most highly cited journals. Analysis of keywords and citation emergence showed that the research hotspots and trends in anatomy focused mainly on anatomy education, digital technology, and surgical management. At the same time, anatomy showed a trend toward multidisciplinary crossover, developing closer relationships with molecular biology, immunology, and clinical medicine. Current research in anatomy focuses on innovative reform of the educational model and the application and promotion of digital technology. Also, multidisciplinary cross-fertilization is an inevitable trend for the future development of anatomy.

Analysis of the effectiveness of the training system of future computer profile specialists for the application of digital technologies

The purpose of the article is to verify and justify the effectiveness of implementing an authorial system for preparing future computer professionals to apply digital technologies. The methodological basis of the publication is methods of scientific analysis, pedagogical positions on the issues of preparing future computer professionals, implementation of an authorial system for preparing future computer professionals for the application of digital technologies. The scientific novelty lies in highlighting the main results of the pedagogical experiment, which aimed to verify the effectiveness of the system for preparing future computer professionals for the application of digital technologies. The pedagogical experiment was conducted in accordance with the main stages (diagnostic, formative, control), during each of which a series of tasks and research were carried out. The research hypothesis assumes that the quality of preparation of future computer professionals for the application of ICT in professional activities will improve by implementing organizational and pedagogical conditions, principles, approaches, content, forms, and methods laid down in the authorial system for preparing future computer professionals for the application of ICT. To substantiate the conclusions regarding the effectiveness of the content and methodology of the pedagogical experiment, statistical processing of the obtained data will be conducted. It was found that EG students demonstrated significantly higher knowledge and skills in mastering and using modern ICT tools and instruments: 3D modeling technologies, including for graphic reconstruction; additive technologies; development of adaptive web resources; development and application of virtual and augmented reality applications; use of Smart technologies in education, and so on. Conclusions. Summarizing the research results, we believe that the authorial system for preparing future computer professionals for the application of ICT in professional activities is effective and positively influences the formation of their readiness for professional activities in general.

A Review of Pricing Research on Prefabricated Food Supply Chain Considering Blockchain Technology

As the pace of urban life gradually accelerates, prefabricated foods that balance efficiency and health have come into the public view. Given the rapid development of the prefabricated food industry in China, studying relevant issues in the prefabricated food supply chain is of great significance. This article conducts a literature review by searching for keywords such as prefabricated foods, supply chain pricing, and blockchain technology, analyzing trends, and summarizing findings. It is found that research on prefabricated foods, both domestically and internationally, mainly covers aspects such as raw material processing, product quality, microbial contamination prevention and control, and nutritional value assessment. Regarding pricing decisions in food supply chains, the literature discusses the impact of food loss, inventory strategies, market demand, and pricing on profits. Additionally, researchers have explored the application of blockchain technology in food supply chains, including the influence of conditions and parameters on pricing decisions. Although existing research provides important insights into prefabricated food supply chain management, there are still some limitations. Future research directions include sustainability and environmental factors, emerging markets and international trade, and the application of digital and intelligent technologies. These studies will provide theoretical guidance and practical recommendations for the sustainable development and innovation of prefabricated food supply chains, supporting the establishment of efficient shared cooperative relationships.

Attitudes and Experiences of the Preschool Teachers in the Application of Digital Technologies in Environmental Education

This study was based on the experiences and attitudes of the preschool teachers in the application of digital technologies when teaching environmental contents. 180 preschool teachers from preschool institutions in the Republic of Serbia, with different work experience and different digital skills, participated in the research. The obtained results demonstrated that the preschool teachers’competencies decrease with the increase in the number of years of work experience, indicating that competencies for the application of digital tools were more developed in the preschool teachers with modest work experience. They also exhibited a greater level of experience in using digital technologies regarding environmental education. The results also showed that there was a significant connection between the application of digital technologies in different domains of the preschool teacher’s work (such as: ideas search, research on the grounds and topics that initiate the project, project development, a portfolio design and evidence of one’s own practice, publication of activities in digital format – in scientific publications, at congresses, on a personal blog and/or preschool institution’s website). Thus in the mentioned domains of work, preschool teachers with significant work experience, applied digital technologies less often when compared to the colleagues with shorter employment history.

[Advances in the application of the bony window technique in endodontic microsurgery].

The bony window technique refers to cutting the intact bone plate to form a bone window and a free bone block to get access to lesions under the bone. At the end of the surgery, the dislocated bony lid needs to be repositioned to its original position. In endodontic microsurgery, compared with conventional osteotomy, the bony window technique has the advantages of improving the view of surgery and operability, reducing postoperative bone defects, promoting bone healing, and maintaining the integrity of the jaw outline. Accurate positioning and preparation of the bony window are important prerequisites for subsequent operations during the surgery, but it's difficult in some situations, such as when the operative area is located posteriorly or the bone cortex on the lesion surface is thick and intact. What's more, whether the free bone block can be stabilized in situ after repositioning is closely related to the prognosis of the surgery. The complementary application of digital navigation technology and bone cavity filling materials may help to improve the bony window technique and provide more possibilities for the retention of affected teeth in difficult cases.

Research on the Impact of Digital Technology Application on Households Calculation Based on Household Digital Penetration Index

With the widespread popularization of digital technology and its continuous penetration into family life, the impact of digital technology on the national economy and residents' lives has gradually emerged. Based on the CFPS database, this article uses the A-F model to measure the household digital penetration index, explores the popularity and application of digital technology in households, and uses an empirical model to analyze the impact of the household digital penetration index on household income, consumption and income gaps. Research results show that digital technology has increasingly penetrated households from 2010 to 2020. The household digital penetration index can effectively increase household income and stimulate consumption, but it also widens the household income gap to a certain extent. At the same time, the impact of household digital penetration index on residential households shows obvious spatial heterogeneity.

Application of artificial intelligence digital holography technology based on medical sensors in the development of medical image fusion

With the rapid development of artificial intelligence and medical technology, sensor technology, as an important tool to obtain medical data, provides a wealth of physiological parameter information, but the traditional medical image fusion methods are difficult to make full use of the information provided by sensors. Therefore, this paper aims to explore the application of artificial intelligence digital holographic technology based on medical sensor in medical image fusion, and improve the accuracy and effect of medical image diagnosis and treatment. Based on the physiological parameter data obtained by medical sensor, combined with deep learning and image processing algorithm, a medical image fusion method based on artificial intelligence digital holography technology was proposed. The method uses the physiological parameter information provided by the sensor and combines multiple medical image sources to realize holographic medical image presentation. The experimental results show that the artificial intelligence digital holographic technology based on medical sensor can effectively improve the resolution and information content of medical image fusion. Compared with traditional medical image fusion methods, this method has higher image quality and more accurate diagnosis results.

An Exploratory view of Application of Digital Twin Technology in Education

Digital twins have gained significant attention and become a buzzword in recent years. The advancement of technologies such as the Internet of Things (IoT), artificial intelligence (AI), data analytics, and cloud computing has made it easier and more cost-effective to collect, analyze, and process vast amounts of data. This has enabled the creation and implementation of digital twins on a larger scale. Digital twins provide valuable insights and data- driven information to support decision-making. They enable organizations to simulate scenarios, test different strategies, and assess the impact of changes or interventions before implementing them in the physical world and thus help minimize risks and uncertainties associated with decision- making processes. Applications of Digital twins are not limited to specific industries or sectors. They have versatile applications across domains such as manufacturing, healthcare, transportation, smart cities, energy management etc. This broad applicability has contributed to the widespread interest and buzz around digital twins. The academic world has also not remained untouched with the advancement in this technology and efforts are on in the direction of designing Digital Twins for various aspects of education including supporting teaching, research, and administrative processes. As the technology continues to evolve, new and innovative applications are likely to emerge, transforming various aspects of teaching, learning, research, and administration in the academic sphere. In this study an effort is made to bring together the work carried out in the field of application of digital twins technology for teaching. Existing studies have been deliberated upon to analyze the progress and discover the prospects of bringing the digital teachers closer to human teachers. It can be inferred that as the technology continues to evolve, new and innovative applications are likely to emerge, transforming various aspects of teaching and learning in the academic sphere. It is also important to note that while digital twins of teachers hold potential benefits, their implementation and adoption in real-world educational settings are still developing. Ethical considerations such as data privacy, algorithmic bias, and the need for human involvement in teaching roles needs to be carefully addressed to ensure their effective and equitable use in education

Digital planning and bone regenerative technologies: A narrative review.

The aim of this narrative review was to explore the application of digital technologies (DT) for the simplification and improvement of bone augmentation procedures in advanced implant dentistry. A search on electronic databases was performed to identify systematic reviews, meta-analyses, randomized and non-randomized controlled trials, prospective/retrospective case series, and case reports related to the application of DT in advanced implant dentistry. Seventy-nine articles were included. Potential fields of application of DT are the following: 1) the use of intra-oral scanners for the definition of soft tissue profile and the residual dentition; 2) the use of dental lab CAD (computer-aided design) software to create a digital wax-up replicating the ideal ridge and tooth morphology; 3) the matching of STL (Standard Triangulation Language) files with DICOM (DIgital COmmunication in Medicine) files from CBCTs with a dedicated software; 4) the production of stereolithographic 3D models reproducing the jaws and the bone defects; 5) the creation of surgical templates to guide implant placement and augmentation procedures; 6) the production of customized meshes for bone regeneration; and 7) the use of static or dynamic computer-aided implant placement. Results from this narrative review seem to demonstrate that the use of a partially or fully digital workflow can be successfully used also in advanced implant dentistry. However, the number of studies (in particular RCTs) focused on the use of a fully digital workflow in advanced implant dentistry is still limited and more studies are needed to properly evaluate the potentials of DT.

Performance Analysis of Application of BIM Technology and Two-Way Progressive Optimization Algorithm in Energy-Saving Design of Residential Buildings Based on BIM Technology

The current residential energy-saving design is lagging behind, and lack of systematic design methods and scientific technical means seriously restricts process of improving quality of residential buildings in China. With development and application of digital information technology in construction field, BIM technology has brought new opportunities construction industry, and building performance data has become information basis for scientific promotion of energy conservation. This paper uses BIM technology as a platform to establish an information base of common building materials and components in Chongqing through literature research, field studies, summarization, and application practice, and to help architects make wise decisions at early design stage by using "one-click" scheme comparison and design evaluation to avoid a large number of potential energy consumption problems at a later stage, It greatly improves energy efficiency and design quality of buildings.
