Bismuth Film along with dsDNA-Modified Electrode Surfaces as Promising (bio)Sensors in the Analysis of Heavy Metals in Soils.

Heavy metals constitute pollutants that are particularly common in air, water, and soil. They are present in both urban and rural environments, on land, and in marine ecosystems, where they cause serious environmental problems since they do not degrade easily, remain almost unchanged for long periods, and bioaccumulate. The detection and especially the quantification of metals require a systematic process. Regular monitoring is necessary because of seasonal variations in metal levels. Consequently, there is a significant need for rapid and low-cost metal determination methods. In this study, we compare and analytically validate absorption spectrometry with a sensitive voltammetric method, which uses a bismuth film-plated electrode surface and applies stripping voltammetry. Atomic absorption spectroscopy (AAS) represents a well-established analytical technique, while the applicability of anodic stripping voltammetry (ASV) in complicated sample matrices such as soil samples is currently unknown. This sample-handling challenge is investigated in the present study. The results show that the AAS and ASV methods were satisfactorily correlated and showed that the metal concentration in soils was lower than the limit values but with an increasing trend. Therefore, continuous monitoring of metal levels in the urban complex of a city is necessary and a matter of great importance. The limits of detection of cadmium (Cd) were lower when using the stripping voltammetry (SWASV) graphite furnace technique compared with those obtained with AAS when using the graphite furnace. However, when using flame atomic absorption spectroscopy (flame-AAS), the measurements tended to overestimate the concentration of Cd compared with the values found using SWASV. This highlights the differences in sensitivity and accuracy between these analytical methods for detecting Cd. The SWASV method has the advantage of being cheaper and faster, enabling the simultaneous determination of heavy elements across the range of concentrations that these elements can occur in Mediterranean soils. Additionally, a dsDNA biosensor is suggested for the discrimination of Cu(I) along with Cu(II) based on the oxidation peak of guanine, and adenine residues can be applied in the redox speciation analysis of copper in soil, which represents an issue of great importance.

Effect of electrophoretic deposition for selective detection of Pb2+ ions using nitrogen and sulphur-doped reduced graphene oxide

Lead is very hazardous, as it is present in environmental samples, and it causes severe health problems affecting neurological, cardiac, genital, and mental illnesses owing to exposure to even a trace amount. The achievement of selective detection of Pb2+ ions is challenging due to interfering relevant metal ions. Hence, in this work, we have synthesized the Nitrogen and Sulphur N and S-doped reduced graphene oxide (NS-rGO) and fabricated it using electrophoretic deposition (EPD) in glassy carbon electrode (GCE) and Bi film deposition (Bi/EPD-NS-rGO/GCE) for selective detection of Pb2+ ions. The synthesized materials were characterized to confirm their functionalities, elemental analysis, and morphology. Further, the electrochemical behaviours were also carried out through Cyclic Voltammetry (CV) and Electrochemical Impedimetric spectroscopy (EIS) studies. The above-modified electrodes were utilized for selective detection of Pb2+ in the presence of Cd2+ ionsusing the differential pulse anodic stripping voltammetry (DPASV) method. The electrode modified with NS-rGO using the EPD method, along with a thin film of Bi that was electrodeposited, has better and more selective catalytic activity for sensing Pb2+ ions. The linear working response was found to be in the range of 100–2200 nM with a limit of detection (LOD) of 0.180 nM and verified as 144 times lower than the recommended level (26 nM) by World Health Organization (WHO) and United States Environmental Protection Agency (USEPA). The developed sensor was further applied to the selective detection of Pb2+ ions in tap water and river water, and it shows good recovery. The Bi/EPD-NS-rGO/GCE will explore a new pathway for the simple and selective detection of Pb2+ ions.

Highly sensitive and selective electrochemical monitoring of nickel in crude oil samples using cathodically pretreated-boron doped diamond electrode

Crude oil is a mixture of hydrocarbons found underground in liquid form and is a valuable fuel with a complex chemical structure. Crude oil is known to come from decaying plants and animals as a fossil product that emerged from the anaerobic process millions of years ago. In the formation of oil, it is accepted that crude oil has an organic origin, and most of the crude oil is found in sedimentary rocks, and the sediments have an organic and inorganic content.In this study, a voltammetric method was developed for the analysis of nickel, one of the metals with the highest density as a heavy metal in crude oil. In the developed voltammetric method, the boron-doped diamond electrode was activated in the cathodic direction at −3.0 V in 0.5 M H2SO4 media.As a result of this cathodic activation, nickel gave a very sensitive anodic signal around −0.15 V on the electrode surface. This anodic signal was determined to be linear in the range of 0.05–0.6 μM around −0.15 V in BR (pH 3.0) media by the anodic stripping voltammetry method. The limit of detection and the limit of quantification were determined to be 0.003 μM and 0.01 μM, respectively. The proposed method allowed the selective analysis of nickel in the crude oil sample without any separation and enrichment process.

Synthesis of AgNPs/MnO2/rGO composite materials with adsorption properties and their application in analysis of anti-inflammatory and antibiotic agents

In this article, AgNPs and MnO2 were successively synthesized on the Graphene oxide (GO) substrate using an in situ method. The AgNPs/MnO2/GO nanocomposite material was modified onto the surface of a glassy carbon electrode (GCE) and the material was electrochemically reduced on the electrode surface. The material obtained after reduction was called AgNPs/MnO2/rGO, which was confirmed by X-Ray diffraction (XRD) and Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FT-IR) to examine the chemical bonding and by scanning electron microscopy (SEM) combined with energy-dispersive spectroscopy (EDS) to demonstrate the elemental characteristics of the material. In addition, X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS) analysis was performed to determine the elemental composition, chemical state, and electronic state of the elements on the surface of the material. The application of the reduced material was for the analysis of Piroxicam and Ofloxacin using the differential pulse anodic stripping voltammetry (DP-ASV) method. The investigation of pH and scan rate (v) indicated that the synthesized material had adsorption properties and was applied for the analysis of the anti-inflammatory drug Piroxicam and the antibiotic Ofloxacin.

Research on Improvement of Detection of Pb2+ in Environment Waters by Graphene/Nafion Modified Glassy Carbon Electrode

Abstract An electrochemical determination of Pb2+ by cyclic voltammetry, differential pulse voltammetry, and differential pulse anodic stripping voltammetry in various waters using a glassy carbon electrode modified with graphene/Nafion mixture has been developed. A series of optimum conditions such as graphene concentration, modifying amount, Nafion concentration, scanning speed, pH, accumulation potential, and time were optimized. Under optimal experiments, some evaluation indexes were analyzed. Graphene/Nafion/GCE was successfully used in the detection and quantification of Pb2+ in various real water samples using three methods above. Differential pulse anodic stripping voltammetry method that is adopted to study the linear range and the detection limit for Pb2+ proved to be more effective than the other two. The wider range is 0.02-24.15 μM, the lower detection limit is 5.1mM, and the recovery is 96.1-109.0%. This will provide a theoretical basis and the practical method for the analysis of heavy metal polltants in different kinds of water.

Development of a Disposable Pencil Graphite Electrode Modified with Poly 1,5-Diaminonaphthalene for Voltammetric Determination of Flufenamic Acid

Due to their comparable electrical properties, pencil graphite electrodes (PGE) have become a more popular electrode in electrochemical applications than traditional carbon electrodes, mostly because of their affordability and availability, which allows for disposable applications. Both cyclic voltammetry (CV) and chronoamperometry (CA) techniques were used to develop a new disposable modified pencil graphite electrode based on the electropolymerization of 1,5-diaminonaphthalane (1,5-DAN). Characterization results confirmed that the modified p-1,5-DAN/PGE(CV) sensor showed much enhanced sensitivity and lower resistivity than the bare and p-1,5-DAN/PGE(CA) sensor, therefore, it was used for the sensitive and selective voltammetric determination of flufenamic acid (FFA). Under the optimum experimental conditions, the p-1,5-DAN/PGE(CV) sensor showed limits of detection (LOD) and quantitation (LOQ) of 4.97 × 10−10 (0.14 ng ml−1) and 1.66 × 10−9 M (0.47 ng ml−1), respectively, applying square wave anodic stripping voltammetry method. The p-1,5-DAN/PGE(CV) sensor also exhibits good accuracy, repeatability, storage stability and selectivity for detecting FFA in biological fluids. These results confirms that the developed p-1,5-DAN/PGE(CV) sensor is more sensitive to measuring FFA in biological fluids, pharmaceutical formulations, and pharmacokinetic studies compared with the previous electrochemical sensors.

TiO2/Ni–NC Hybrid Derived from Ti3C2TX/NiMOF for Highly Sensitive Electrochemical Sensing of Mercury Ions

Mercury ions (Hg2+) pose serious threats to ecological environment and human health, which lead to the increasing demand for rapid and sensitive detection methods. Herein, an electrochemical sensor based on titanium dioxide/nickel nanoparticles-nitrogen doped carbon (TiO2/Ni–NC) modified glassy carbon electrode (GCE) was developed for the detection of Hg2+. A Ti3C2TX/NiMOF composite was synthesized by in situ growing NiMOF on the multilayered structure of Ti3C2TX. Through a facile pyrolysis treatment, TiO2/Ni–NC was derived from Ti3C2TX/NiMOF. N element doped carbon with a porous structure provided electron transfer channels for the electrochemical reaction and an ideal matrix for immobilizing catalytic sites. The TiO2 and Ni nanoparticles were homogeneously distributed on the carbon matrix, and they exhibited good catalytic activity toward the electrochemical reaction of Hg2+. The accumulation of Hg2+ was promoted due to the chelation with the doped N element. The differential pulse anodic stripping voltammetry (DPASV) method coupled with the TiO2/Ni–NC/GCE sensor was used to determine the concentration of Hg2+. Under the optimal conditions, our proposed method presented a wide detection range (1 nM to 10 μM) and a low detection limit (0.79 nM). The sensor provided a satisfactory recovery in real water sample analysis, demonstrating the feasibility for environmental monitoring applications.

A Factorial Design and Simplex Optimization of a Bismuth Film Glassy Carbon Electrode for Cd(II) and Pb(II) Determination

This work presents the use of a fractional two-level factorial design to determine the influence of different factors involved in the development of the square-wave anodic stripping voltammetry method. A fractional factorial design of eight different electrodes using a bismuth film glassy carbon electrode (BiFGCE) was formulated, and the impact of the factors on the analytical performance of the electrodes was determined. The impact of six factors (deposition potential, deposition time, potential step, amplitude, frequency, and the concentration of Bi(III)) was tested for Cd(II) and Pb(II) determination. Next, simplex optimization was carried out to improve the electroanalytical performance of the BiFGCE. The objective of simplex optimization was to simultaneously obtain a low limit of quantification, a wide linear concentration range, high sensitivity, high accuracy, and good precision for the new BiFGCE developed. By employing the latter approach, an optimization criterion was improved by several orders of magnitude. Moreover, the possible interference effect of different species was tested using two optimized BiFGCE. Furthermore, a real sample analysis of tap water with two optimized BiFGCEs was also carried out.

WO3-Nanocrystal-Modified Electrodes for Ultra-Sensitive and Selective Detection of Cadmium (Cd2+) Ions

The detection of heavy metal ions is becoming increasingly important for environmental monitoring and personal safety protection. Owing to their large surface area and suitable conductivity, metal oxide semiconductor nanocrystals have been utilized in chemically modified electrodes for the rapid and low-cost detection of heavy metal ions. However, their sensitivity and selectivity for cadmium ion (Cd2+) detection still remains a challenge. Here, a method of ultra-sensitive and selective Cd2+ detection based on WO3-nanocrystal-modified electrodes is proposed and demonstrated. Colloidal WO3 nanocrystals were synthesized via a solvothermal route and then deposited onto a carbon electrode using a spin-coating method, forming the modification layer at room temperature. The WO3-nanocrystal-modified electrodes exhibit a remarkable signal transduction capability that converts Cd2+ adsorption into current output signals. The peak current was linear to the logarithm of the Cd2+ concentration from 1 nM to 10,000 nM when measured using the anodic stripping voltammetry method. The selectivity mechanism was studied and attributed to the high adsorption energy of cadmium on WO3 compared to other heavy metal ions. Employment of WO3 for a high-performance Cd2+-selective electrode opens many opportunities in portable ion-detection applications.

Development of a 3-D-printable device for continuous measuring of heavy metal ion concentrations

Three-dimensional (3-D) printing offers the potential to create a range of tailored devices within many different industrial facilities. In this article, devices were designed and fabricated using 3-D printing to house electrodes for the testing of heavy metal concentration in hazardous fluids, particularly for biological samples such as urine or blood. The devices, connected to a syringe pump, were shown to be able to be operated without leaking. Proof of concept experiments were performed using Anodic Stripping Voltammetry (ASV) methods, demonstrating that the devices are able to be used for quick, cheap testing, showing the potential of the technique as a more hygienic analysis technique than conventional ASV with an immediacy that standard techniques such as inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry (ICP-MS) do not offer. With further development and validation, 3-D-printed ASV techniques may provide a robust, reliable and affordable solution for heavy metal concentration detection in remote locations.

Epoxy/Graphite Composite Electrode Modified with Recycled Silver Nanoparticles: An Eco-Friendly Strategy to Improve Lead Detection

In this work, silver nanoparticles (AgNPs) obtained from photographic waste were synthesized and electrodeposited via cyclic voltammetry using epoxy-graphite composite as an electrochemical substrate. Both electrodes, unmodified (Epoxy/C) and modified (Epoxy/C/AgNPs), were characterized electrochemically by electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS), charge transfer constant (K0 ), and electroactive area. The modified electrode provided lower charge transfer resistance (275 Ω), more kinetically favored electron transfer (K0 = 1.15 × 10-3 cm s-1), and a 1.7- fold increase in the active area compared to the unmodified electrode. Additional characterizations by scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and Raman spectroscopy confirmed the presence of AgNPs structures on the carbonaceous surface. As a proof of concept, Pb2+ was used as a model analyte, and a square wave anodic stripping voltammetry (SWASV) method was developed to evaluate the analytical performance of both electrodes. A wider linear range (4.0 to 40.0 µg L-1), the appropriate limit of detection (1.2 µg L-1), and a 6-fold increase in sensitivity were found using the modified electrode, suggesting that the AgNPs significantly contributed to the performance of the electrode. The proposed method was applied to three real water samples, where the Pb2+ levels varied from 11.3 to 19.5 µg L-1. The proposed protocol (reuse of silver waste) has proven to be a powerful tool for improving the detection of Pb2+, which can be helpful for other electrochemical sensing applications in locations with minimal infrastructure.

Selenium‐doped Graphite for Electrochemical Sensing and Adsorption of Hg(II) and Cd(II) Ions

AbstractSelenium‐doped Graphite (Se‐DG) has been used for electrochemical (EC) sensing and adsorption of poisonous Hg(II) and Cd(II) ions which can produce acute toxic effects on various organs. Hence, detection and efficient removal of both the metal ions from aquatic sources are very crucial. Herein, square wave anodic stripping voltammetry (SWASV) method was applied for EC detection using Se‐DG coated glassy carbon electrode (GCE) as a working electrode. Corresponding EC responses were observed due to the interaction between the sensing surface and the analytes. Elemental Se (Se0) present in Se‐DG played a crucial role in EC sensing. The limit of detection (LoD) of Hg(II) and Cd(II) were observed to be 4.3 ppb and 1.9 ppb respectively. The limit of quantification (LoQ) were found as ppb 14.3 ppb and 6.3 ppb respectively. Batch method was carried out for adsorption of the same carcinogenic metal ions on the Se‐DG surface. Ultra‐trace concentration of the metal ions was determined in Inductively Coupled Plasma Mass Spectrometry (ICP‐MS). Maximum adsorption capacity (QM) for Hg(II) and Cd(II) were found 210.81 mg g−1 and 205.53 mg g−1 respectively from Langmuir fit. The adsorption process was spontaneous and endothermic and it could be better fitted by a pseudo‐second order rate law, suggesting a chemisorption over physisorption. X‐Ray Photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS) was performed to investigate the binding interaction of different functionalities present in Se‐DG with metal ions.

Electrochemical Detection of Pb(II) Using A Pencil Electrode with Square Wave Anodic Stripping Voltammetry Method

This work describes a simple and inexpensive Pb(II) determination by a pencil electrode using the square wave anodic stripping voltammetry (SWASV) method. This research was applied using a batch cell system on 10 mL of 0.1 M acetate buffer pH 4.5. The precision was performed with repeatability and reproducibility in Pb(II) concentrations of 0. 2, 0. 4, 0. 6, and 0.8 µg mL -1 . Two linear ranges were obtained in the concentration of 0.1–1.0 and 2.0–8.0 µg mL -1 . This method offers a detection limit of 0.07 µg mL -1 and a quantification limit of 0.24 µg mL -1 . The technique performed good repeatability (RSD= 7.28–9.53%) and good reproducibility (RSD=7.07–15.10%). The precisions are accepted according to the Association of Official Analytical Chemists (AOAC) standard (RSD repeatability <11% and RSD reproducibility <16% at a concentration of 1 µg mL -1 ). The method offered high operational stability up to 18 measurements (RSD=4.6%). The technique performs acceptable results with low random error in determining Pb(II).

Electrochemical Sensing Platform Based on The Modified Carbon-Ceramic Electrode Using Multiwalled Carbon Nanotubes (MWCNTs) Through The Sol-Gel Process: Application in Sensitive Determination of Morin as A Common Flavonoids

Morin is one of the most common flavonoids which found in nature, plants and vegetable-derived foods and Brazilian yellow tree is a source for its extraction. Because of hydroxyl group existence, Morin represents better antioxidant properties and have great significance in bio electrochemistry-based investigations. In this research work, an electrochemical-based sensing platform was designed based on a modified carbon-ceramic electrode (CCE) through a sol-gel process with carbon nanotubes for the investigation of the electrochemical behavior of Morin. Various electrochemical techniques have been used for the analytical investigation of the proposed sensing platform including cyclic voltammetry (CV), differential pulse voltammetry (DPV), and anodic stripping voltammetry (ASV) methods. Furthermore, the morphological investigation was efficiently performed for the demonstration of electrode surface characteristics. The obtained results showed that the anodic peak currents increased linearly in a concentration range of 0.7– 3 µM, where detection limit is equal to 0.27 µM for DPV, and the linear range is considered to be 0.6-4 µM where there is a lower detection limit of 0.3 µM for ASV. Such a biosensing assay can also prove a great potential for the determination of Morin in dry tea.

Controllable Synthesis of a Porous PEI-Functionalized Co3O4/rGO Nanocomposite as an Electrochemical Sensor for Simultaneous as Well as Individual Detection of Heavy Metal Ions.

The present study focuses on the strategy of employing an electrochemical sensor with a porous polyethylenimine (PEI)-functionalized Co3O4/reduced graphene oxide (rGO) nanocomposite (NCP) to detect heavy metal ions (HMIs: Cd2+, Pb2+, Cu2+, and Hg2+). The porous PEI-functionalized Co3O4/rGO NCP (rGO·Co3O4·PEI) was prepared via a hydrothermal method. The synthesized NCP was based on a conducting polymer PEI, rGO, nanoribbons of Co3O4, and highly dispersed Co3O4 nanoparticles (NPs), which have shown excellent performance in the detection of HMIs. The as-prepared PEI-functionalized rGO·Co3O4·PEI NCP-modified electrode was used for the sensing/detection of HMIs by means of both square wave anodic stripping voltammetry (SWV) and differential normal pulse voltammetry (DNPV) methods for the first time. Both methods were employed for the simultaneous detection of HMIs, whereas SWV was employed for the individual analysis as well. The limits of detection (LOD; 3σ method) for Cd2+, Pb2+, Cu2+, and Hg2+ determined using the rGO·Co3O4·PEI NCP–modified electrode were 0.285, 1.132, 1.194, and 1.293 nM for SWV, respectively. Similarly, LODs of Cd2+, Pb2+, Cu2+, and Hg2+ were 1.069, 0.285, 2.398, and 1.115 nM, respectively, by DNPV during simultaneous analysis, whereas they were 0.484, 0.878, 0.462, and 0.477 nM, respectively, by SWV in individual analysis.

An innovative autonomous robotic system for on-site detection of heavy metal pollution plumes in surface water

Smart monitoring has been studied and developed in recent years to create faster, cheaper, and more user-friendly on-site methods. The present study describes an innovative technology for investigative monitoring of heavy metal pollution (Cu and Pb) in surface water. It is composed of an autonomous surface vehicle capable of semiautonomous driving and equipped with a microfluidic device for detection of heavy metals. Detection is based on the method of square wave anodic stripping voltammetry using carbon-based screen-printed electrodes (SPEs). The focus of this work was to validate the ability of the integrated system to perform on-site detection of heavy metal pollution plumes in river catchments. This scenario was simulated in laboratory experiments. The main performance characteristics of the system, which was evaluated based on ISO 15839 were measurement bias (Pb 75%, Cu 65%), reproducibility (in terms of relative standard deviation: Pb 11–18%, Cu 6–10%) and the limit of detection (4 µg/L for Pb and 7 µg/L for Cu). The lowest detectable change (LDC), which is an important performance characteristic for this application, was estimated to be 4–5 µg/L for Pb and 6–7 µg/L for Cu. The life span of an SPE averaged 39 measurements per day, which is considered sufficient for intended monitoring campaigns. This work demonstrated the suitability of the integrated system for on-site detection of Pb and Cu emissions from large and medium urban areas discharging into small water bodies.

An electrochemical sensor based on Ag nanoparticles decorated on cadmium sulfide nanowires/reduced graphene oxide for the determination of acyclovir

Acyclovir (ACV), despite its good properties may be harmful to the body. So, its monitoring is important. In this work, a novel silver nanoparticles/cadmium sulfide nanowires/reduced graphene oxide nanocomposite (Ag NPs/CdS NWs/RG) was successfully prepared and used as an excellent modifier for the electrochemical detection of ACV. The formation of nanocomposite was approved through different techniques, including X-ray diffraction (XRD), field emission scanning electron microscopy (FESEM), energy dispersive X-ray (EDX), transmission electron microscopy (TEM), and EIS. The Ag NPs/CdS NWs/RG modified glassy carbon electrode (GCE) was used for monitoring ACV by differential pulse adsorptive anodic stripping voltammetry (DPAASV) method. The fabricated sensor presented a good linearity in the ranges of 10 nM-4 µM and 4–40 µM, with an outstanding detection limit of 3.3 nM. The fabricated sensor offered satisfactory performance in the quantitative detection of ACV in blood serum, tablet, and topical cream samples.

Influence of applied potential on tin content in electrodeposition of Zn–Sn alloy coatings and its effect on corrosion protection

In the present work, the electrochemical deposition of Zn–Sn alloy at different applied potentials is studied. The deposits were prepared from a chloride bath on a stainless steel substrate (SS) using cyclic voltammetry, chronoamperometry and anodic linear stripping voltammetry methods. X-ray diffraction, scanning electron microscopy and energy dispersive were used to study the structural, morphological and chemical composition of the deposits. The corrosion behavior of the elaborated samples was studied by open circuit potential (OCP), Tafel plot and electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS) in 3.5 wt-% NaCl solution. Results indicated that the Zn–Sn alloy coatings exhibit a synergistic property combining the barrier behavior afforded by Sn and strong passive behavior of Zn. Electrochemical measurements obtained by Tafel and EIS plots revealed that Zn–Sn alloy coatings obtained at more positive potential of −1.1 V present best corrosion resistance.

Construction and application of a novel electrochemical sensor for trace determination of uranium based on ion-imprinted polymers modified glassy carbon electrode

In the present work, a novel electrochemical sensor modified glassy carbon electrode with ion-imprinted polymers (IIP-GCE) was applied for uranyl ions (UO22+) determination. Surface modifier was synthesized through precipitation polymerization method, using acrylic acid as a monomer, benzoyl peroxide (BPO) as initiator, and trimethylolpropane triacrylate (TMPTA) as cross-linker. A new uranyl-trans-3-(3-pyridyl) acrylic acid complex was employed, serving as an active and specific site on the synthesized modifier. Next, the synthesized modifier was characterized using X-ray diffraction (XRD), Scanning Electron microscopy (SEM), and Fourier Transform Infrared Spectroscopy (FT-IR) techniques. UO22+ ions were detected using a differential pulse adsorptive anodic stripping voltammetry method. Under the optimized conditions (pH = 8.0, pre-concentration time = 10 min and pre-concentration potential = −0.30 V), the modified electrode exhibited linear behavior in the interval of 1.27–95.49 μg.L−1 with a limit of detection (LOD) of 0.43 μg.L−1. Also, the constructed ion-imprinted sensor showed a successful application for determining UO22+ ions with recovery range of 97.6–101% in real samples.
