AbstractThe cover picture shows a section of the crystal structure of the title compounds Li8SeN2 and Li8TeN2. Both compounds crystallize as isotypes with an anionic substructure motif known from cubic Laves phases and lithium distributed over four crystallographic sites in the void space of the anionic framework. The background shows the orange, microcrystalline material of the title compounds. Motional processes of lithium atoms in the title compounds were revealed by temperature dependent NMR spectroscopic investigations and are indicated by significant changes of the 7Li NMR signals. The graph shows 7Li frequency sweep NMR spectroscopic measurements at T = 15 K for Li8SeN2 together with the result of the least‐squares fit and the individual signal contributions. More details are discussed in the article by F. Haarmann, R. Niewa et al. on p. 936ff.
