The tunning and atmospheric constants for fourteen years was obtained using the West African regional scale dispersion model (WASDM) from the AOD dataset. 2013 showed a very high AOD value within the range of 0.1 to approximately 0.9. But, in the year 2009, an AOD value of 0.063 was observed and recorded. From the Pareto chart and seasons witnessed in Farafenni, we can deduce that the highest AOD distribution is within the cooler, dry season. The average distribution of the Angstrom exponent for the months from 2000 to 2013 was less than one (α ≤ 1). This indicates that the size distributions over these years are dominated by coarse mode aerosols. The statistics of the Aerosol Optical Depth dataset showed that in 2013, the highest confidence interval of 99%, the standard deviation variance, the mean AOD, the confidence interval of 95%, and the coefficient of variation were achieved. The greatest inconsistency and kurtosis can be found in 2013. The highest Kolmogorov-Smirnov statistics is available in 2000. The results show that the lower atmosphere of the Farafenni may not be as dynamic as the cities in West Africa.
