Perancangan dan Pembuatan Visual Novel Sejarah L.M.U. Nurtanio Berbasis Android

Air Vice Marshal (Anm.) Nurtanio Pringgoadisuryo is an Indonesian aviation hero who remains largely unknown to the younger generation. To raise awareness about him, an engaging and interactive application is required. A Visual Novel can serve as an ideal medium to introduce or preserve the legacy of Air Vice Marshal (Anm.) Nurtanio. The historical Visual Novel about L.M.U Nurtanio was developed using Ren’Py software, a tool for creating visual novels with a simplified version of the Python programming language. The application development followed the Multimedia Development Life Cycle (MDLC), which includes the stages of Concept, Design, Material Collection, Assembly, Testing, and Distribution. This application is accessible on Android-based devices. The design and development of this Android-based historical Visual Novel about L.M.U Nurtanio provide a more engaging and interactive learning medium for Android users.

Optimal Global Positioning System/European Geostationary Navigation Overlay Service Positioning Model Using Smartphone

The potential for the use of smartphones in GNSSs (Global Navigation Satellite Systems) positioning has increased in recent years due to the emergence of the ability of Android-based devices used to process raw satellite data. This paper presents the results of a study on the use of SBAS data transmitted by the EGNOS (European Geostationary Navigation Overlay Service) system in GNSS positioning using a Xiaomi Mi8 smartphone. Raw data recorded at a fixed point were used in post-processing calculations in GPS/EGNOS positioning by determining the coordinates for every second of a session of about 5 h and comparing the results to those obtained with a Septentrio AsteRx2 GNSS receiver operating at the same time at a distance of about 3 m. The calculations were performed using the assumptions of the GNSS/SBAS positioning algorithms, which were modified with carrier-phase smoothed code observations and the content of the corrections transmitted by EGNOS.

Augmented Reality Based Tajwid Reading Law Android Application

The learning method used in learning the subjects of the Qur'an and Hadith in Schools is a common teaching method, which uses books as a source of knowledge and teachers as teachers. In this problem, the author uses a learning method using Augmented Reality (AR) as the basic law of reading aloud so that students don't get bored. Augmented Reality (AR) is a combination of real and virtual objects displayed simultaneously on a screen. Augmented Reality is created with Unity 3D, Vuforia and Android software. The application of new learning methods should increase students' interest in serious and straightforward learning. This research aims to build a recitation science learning application for children 5-10 years old using an Android-based device "so that with this application it is hoped that it will have an attractive design, as well as complete features and have materials and examples of legal reading and pronunciation." easy for children to understand and can make children understand the science of recitation from a young age. The results of this research are applications for learning the science of Tajweed for children 5-10 years old which can display the hijaiyah letters accompanied by their pronunciation and how to pronounce them, the laws of the science of Tajweed which consist of the law of nun mati/tanwin, qalqalah and the law of mad, games as material for evaluating children. The Tajwid science learning application succeeded in increasing children's understanding of Tajweed science by 57.9%. Application feasibility testing uses white box and black box methods with several test requirements. Based on the test results, functionally the application is appropriate, feasible, and can be used as a learning medium for Tajwid science and is in the "Very Good" category.

Abstract
 The advancement of information technology has opened new opportunities in educational approaches. One innovative approach involves leveraging mobile devices, such as Android-based devices, to facilitate interactive learning. The objective of this research is to design and develop an Android-based educational game focusing on Indonesian independence history, particularly tailored for SMK Roudhotssallam students. This study adopts the Waterfall software development model, encompassing phases of requirements analysis, design, implementation, testing, and maintenance. During the requirements analysis phase, an initial survey was conducted to identify students' preferences concerning game content, user interface, and features. Subsequently, in the design phase, visual design, level design, and interaction mechanisms were crafted in line with the Indonesian independence history material. Game development took place during the implementation phase, employing programming languages and the Android Studio platform. Historical material is presented through challenges, puzzles, and quizzes related to significant events during the Indonesian independence struggle. In the testing phase, the game was evaluated by SMK Roudhotssallam students to measure the suitability, attractiveness, and educational effectiveness of the developed game. The outcome of this research is an engaging and interactive educational game that aids students in comprehending Indonesian independence history in a more captivating manner.

Android Malware Classification Based on Fuzzy Hashing Visualization

The proliferation of Android-based devices has brought about an unprecedented surge in mobile application usage, making the Android ecosystem a prime target for cybercriminals. In this paper, a new method for Android malware classification is proposed. The method implements a convolutional neural network for malware classification using images. The research presents a novel approach to transforming the Android Application Package (APK) into a grayscale image. The image creation utilizes natural language processing techniques for text cleaning, extraction, and fuzzy hashing to represent the decompiled code from the APK in a set of hashes after preprocessing, where the image is composed of n fuzzy hashes that represent an APK. The method was tested on an Android malware dataset with 15,493 samples of five malware types. The proposed method showed an increase in accuracy compared to others in the literature, achieving up to 98.24% in the classification task.

Mobile Interactive Multimedia to Assist Prospective Science Teachers Holding Conceptual Understanding in Problem-Solving Electrical Circuits

This research proposes a mobile interactive multimedia (MIM) system that allows students to interact with various simulations and animations of electrical phenomena and to apply their knowledge to solve problems in electrical circuits. MIM is a tool that enhances the students' conceptual understanding, correcting their misconceptions, and strengthening their problem-solving skills in electrical circuits, according to the students' knowledge type of transition in learning. The MIM was accessible through an Android-based device and was evaluated using a research and development (R&D) method. The Three Tier-Test and Multiple Misconception Revealing Test assessed students' conceptual comprehension and problem-solving ability. The study involved 53 prospective science teachers enrolled in the Electrical and Magnetism course in third-semester; 27 in the experimental group and 26 in the control group. The findings showed that the MIM met the validity, practicality, and effectiveness criteria. Therefore, the MIM was a valid, practical, and effective tool for enhancing the students’ conceptual understanding, correcting their misconceptions, and strengthening their problem-solving skills in electrical circuits, according to the students’ knowledge type of transition in learning.

E-Module Gerak Lurus: Peluang Pengembangan Keterampilan Proses Sains dan Keterampilan Bernalar

This research aims to develop an e-module based on Predict-Observe-Explain (POE) equipped with questions that refer to the Minimum Competency Assessment (AKM) for high school students on the topic of linear motion that is valid, readable, and practical. This research uses a Research and Development (R&D) research design with a 4D model, namely Define, Design, Develop, and Disseminate. This research produces an e-module for the topic of linear motion in the form of an application that can be used on Android-based devices. E-module has material presented with POE stages in each learning activity, which has the opportunity to improve students' science process skills. Moreover, the e-module is also equipped with AKM questions on the same topic, linear motion, which is expected to improve students' reasoning skills. The results of this research show that the e-module developed is classified as very valid with a percentage of 95.6%. In addition, the e-module also has very good readability and practicality, with a percentage of 94.8%. Thus, the e-module can be used in learning the physics topic, linear motion, for high school students.

Project Based Learning: Promoting Cross-Cultural Understanding using Android Application at an Indian University in Gujarat

Students in a project-based learning environment get experience with actual, hands-on projects. In this article, we present the experience obtained in a Mobile Application Development course. In addition, available multi-country criteria of this research enable us to investigate probable cross-cultural variances. The purpose of this project was to design and create apps (or simply app) for Android-based devices. The chosen methodology, based on Project-Based Learning, boosted both cooperation and rivalry among students. This research offers the outcomes from a heuristic assessment by students at Indian university in Gujarat for the students of three nations. Total 120 students are recruited for this research from a university in Gujarat. "It was established that a project-based learning approach is an effective and engaging way for translation students to experiment with their translation skills and different translation theories, achieve linguistic and cross-cultural understanding of different cultures while participating actively in various organised learning activities.'' More significantly, they have elevated their intercultural awareness and strengthened their intercultural communication ability. As students engage in this kind of project-based, introspective, and exploratory learning, they grow in their confidence as communicators (both verbally and in writing), their willingness to take intellectual risks, and their awareness of cultural variety. Its educational ramifications are examined.

Human tracking robotic camera based on image processing for live streaming of conferences and seminars

There are numerous scenarios where the photographer is in difficulty and unable to capture or shoot video as required. This could be due to several factors such as limited space, decreased visibility, and an obstacle in the way. Therefore, this project implements the idea to capture and shoot video of the desired subject through an automatically controlled robotic camera with no need for a photographic bloke. The system comprises functions such as detection, tracking, live streaming, and video/audio recording along with the features of Radio-Frequency-Identification (RFID). Therefore, this robotic camera will detect the desired subject, track and focus it with the help of its position driven through movable motors sensing the RFID tag in case the object is non-stationary. The video/audio will be recorded on a computer along with the live streaming available on an Android-based device. The Viola-Jones algorithm of the image processing technique is used to detect the particular subject features and C for accessing the movable camera protocols. The RFID transmitter and receiver are used to sense the RFID card and serve the purpose to track the subject using the algorithms of image processing, with the advantage of ignoring other obstacles between the camera and the detected subject. Thus, adding a novel functionality to the existing systems, that lacks the feature of focusing the camera on the subject, when an obstacle is detected in between. The live streaming is achieved wirelessly through an open-source platform X-operating system, Apache, MySQL, Php, Perl (XAMPP). The idea is verified through concluded arrangements in self-made scenarios in response to the speed, distance, light, and background noise of the detected subject, which delivered encouraging results. Therefore, the designed system can be used for live conferences, seminars, and other multimedia-required arrangements.

The development of cultural integrated Indonesian speaking e-module for higher education students in Indonesia

The importance of language proficiency, particularly speaking skill competence, has been acknowledged in the field of education for many years. However, despite numerous efforts to improve it, the achievement of student speaking skill competence is still far from the expected target. One of the main reasons behind this problem is the availability, accessibility, and validity of the teaching materials used. This study aimed to address the issue of unsatisfactory Indonesian students’ speaking abilities, which are partly attributed to the lack of available teaching media, particularly those that integrate cultural values. Therefore, this research used research and development study of a speaking skill e-module that is integrated with cultural values that was developed in an Android-based device. The module was designed for university students in South Sulawesi, Indonesia. The results of the study indicated that the use of the speaking e-module helped improve students' speaking abilities, as well as their understanding of cultural values. Therefore, this research is also expected to reach the potential to be beneficial to a wider audience in Indonesia, beyond the scope of South Sulawesi universities.

Development of Android-based Interactive Learning Media for English Report Text Material in Senior High School

This study aims to conduct a preliminary study of the development of Android-based learning media in the Report Text material for Senior High School English subjects. The results of the questionnaire data conducted at the pre-research stage showed that 21.88% of respondents had difficulty with the Report Text material, indicated by incomplete KKM. As many as 65.63% of respondents liked English lessons, 46.88% of respondents chose visual-auditory as a learning style and as many as 90.63% of respondents had Android-based devices. Based on these data it was concluded that Android-based learning media that can meet the needs of respondents is an interactive learning media designed using the collaboration of PowerPoint, iSpring Free 9, and Web2APK applications with an attractive appearance

DEVELOPMENT OF AN APPLICATION FOR THE ANALYSIS AND RESEARCH OF THE PARAMETERS OF SCIENTIFIC TEXT DOCUMENTS CAPABLE OF WORKING WITH SEVERAL OPERATING SYSTEMS

In the work designed, developed and implemented a cross-platform application for retrieving information from the repository, displaying it correctly, generating a description of references in various styles, as well as for opening a document in a cross-platform application. The MS Windows 11 operating system, the Dart programming language and the Flutter framework were used in the development. The optimization of the program was ensured by using the Flutter BloC architecture, it allowed to structure the code, separate the interface from the logic and visually describe the operation of the program depending on various states. The input data is information about the scientific work in the repository, the user's request in the search field is in the form of a link. The result of the work is: a list of processed links, a description of references in different styles, a document of a scientific work, a link for opening in a browser. Instructions containing all the necessary information about the main aspects of the application have been added to the cross-platform application. A page was also created where users can get the necessary help or report problems with the application. The application was tested on devices based o-n the Android 11 operating system and above, devices based on the iOS operating system, and a web browser. To run on an Android-based device, you need to install an apk file and run the app, to run on an iOS-based device, you need to install the app using any development environment. To run in a web browser, you will need to run from the development environment. All these functions make the application relevant for use by students and teachers in the creation of scientific, diploma, and research works. And also to get acquainted with the latest research of colleagues in a large number of areas. The cross-platform application allows you to quickly and conveniently get all available information about work, as well as view the work itself on your device without using third-party programs.

A Comparative Study of Machine Learning Techniques for Android Malware Detection

The rapid growth and wide availability of Android applications in recent years has resulted in a spike in the number of sophisticated harmful applications targeting Android users. Because of the popularity and amount of open-sourced supported features of Android OS, cyber attackers prefer to target Android-based devices over other smartphones. Malicious programs endanger user privacy and device integrity. To address this issue, the authors investigated machine learning algorithms for detecting malware in Android in this study. They employed a static analysis approach, collecting permissions from each application's APK and then generating feature vectors based on the extracted permissions. Finally, they trained several machine learning algorithms to create classification models that can distinguish between benign and malicious applications. According to experimental findings, random forest and multi-layer perceptron approaches, which have accuracy levels of 95.4% and 95.1%, respectively, have the best classification performance.

Research on Terminal-Side Computing Force Network Based on Massive Terminals

With the explosive growth of the demand for computing power in the era of digital economy and the continuous enhancement of the computing power of terminals, how to provide high bandwidth, low-latency, and low-cost service by leveraging the user devices’ computing, storage, and network resources has become a research hotspot. However, due to differences in magnitude, architecture, and performance, the existing technologies for cloud computing and edge computing need to overcome many challenges such as android-based devices not supporting container technologies. In this paper, a terminal-side computing force network (TSCFN) architecture is proposed, which realizes the unified computing power management of massive user devices by layered and distributed architecture with highly dynamic and domain-federated deployments. At the same time, we propose a cloud-native container resource scheduling scheme based on the Android system to enhance the scalability of TSCFN. Taking the CDN service as a use case, the experiment results show that services provided by TSCFN can reduce latency and improve resource utilization, especially in an unstable network status. Compared with traditional CDN, delay duration of HomeCDN based on TSCFN is decreased by 96% in a bad network environment.

Vacuum: Efficient and Assured Deletion Scheme for User Sensitive Data on Mobile Devices

Embedded devices (e.g., mobile phones, smart watches, etc.) store a large amount of sensitive information. However, Android-based devices may leak a lot of user information if unsafe data deletion. Therefo re, research on secure data deletion for embedded devices has become a practical and urgent issue. In this article, we study the logic structure, operation characteristics, and data management mechanisms of flash memory. Then, we propose a novel method Vacuum that uses a user-space file system and can provide fine-grained file deletion guarantees. Our approach encrypts files on an insecure medium with a unique key that can later be discarded to cryptographically render the data irrecoverable. Additionally, we use TrustZone as a secure key vault, and a garbage collection mechanism is introduced to purge the memory. Finally, we carried out experiments on the Android system, and the results showed that the solution is efficient and can meet the needs of real applications.

Digital Forensic Analysis to Improve User Privacy on Android.

The Android platform accounts for 85% of the global smartphone operating-system market share, and recently, it has also been installed on Internet-of-Things (IoT) devices such as wearable devices and vehicles. These Android-based devices store various personal information such as user IDs, addresses, and payment information and device usage data when providing convenient functions to users. Insufficient security for the management and deletion of data stored in the device can lead to various cyber security threats such as personal information leakage and identity theft. Therefore, research on the protection of personal information stored in the device is very important. However, there is a limitation that the current research for protection of personal information on the existing Android platform was only conducted on Android platform 6 or lower. In this paper, we analyze the deleted data remaining on the device and the possibility of recovery to improve user privacy for smartphones using Android platforms 9 and 10. The deleted data analysis is performed based on three data deletion scenarios: data deletion using the app’s own function, data deletion using the system app’s data and cache deletion function, and uninstallation of installed apps. It demonstrates the potential user privacy problems that can occur when using Android platforms 9 and 10 due to the leakage of recovered data. It also highlights the need for improving the security of personal user information by erasing the traces of deleted data that remain in the journal area and directory entry area of the filesystem used in Android platforms 9 and 10.

Sistem Pakar untuk Mendeteksi Gejala Awal Penyakit Apendisitis dengan Metode Case Based Reasoning (CBR) Berbasis Mobile Android

Appendicitis is caused by inflammation of the intestines (appenditis). The patient will feel pain in the lower right abdomen. This study explores this with several references, by designing an expert system an application is produced that is used to detect appendicitis. This process can help detect early symptoms starting from the user answering questions in the form of symptoms suffered by the user. The research applies the Case Base Reasoning method in the expert system by detecting the early symptoms of appendicitis using this android-based device. The research aims to add experience to users in finding out the disease they feel by entering the initial symptoms and providing solutions or it can be without consulting the nearest hospital or clinic. The results of the research. This android-based appendicitis expert system aims to help diagnose Appendicitis Inflammatory Disease for children under five and adults based on Android Mobile, and the Appendicitis Disease Diagnosis Expert System that was built to provide information easily starting from understanding, dangers, causal factors, symptoms of the disease and solution only by consulting the system and objectives can help provide a good solution.

Aplikasi Monitoring Peralatan, Bahan Laboratorium Menggunakan Metode Sequential Search di Laboratorium Mikrobiologi dan Genetika UNAS

The Faculty of Biology at the National University has a Microbiology and Genetics laboratory which is used for practicum activities, research, and fieldwork lectures. At the analysis stage, problems were found, namely in recording the use of equipment and materials used by students for research activities still using conventional methods, this resulted in delays in managing and conveying information. Adequate lecture facilities are an important aspect in helping the teaching and learning process. Based on the background of the problem, the author aims to make the equipment monitoring process more efficient, using Android-based devices. The author uses the Sequential search method in the process of monitoring equipment in the laboratory. This research was tested using black-box testing and white box testing by distributing questionnaires conducted using a Likert scale with a value range of 5 to 25 student correspondents with an average value for software testing = 4.6; Interface = 4.44; Software features = 4.32; item search feature = 4.08; with the final mean = 4.09.
