Analisis Potensi Unggulan Kabupaten Empat Lawang Menggunakan Alat Analisis Regional

Empat Lawang Regency, once classified as a disadvantaged region, has made significant progress in improving the welfare of its population. This is reflected in the declining poverty rate and increasing Human Development Index (HDI). However, the region's economic growth, as measured by GRDP and GRDP per capita, lags behind other regions in Sumatera Selatan. This research seeks to pinpoint the key economic sectors driving Empat Lawang Regency's development by employing a combined analysis of LQ, Shift Share, and Tipology Klassen. The analysis results indicate that no sector can be unequivocally classified as a leading sector in Empat Lawang Regency. Nonetheless, several sectors such as agriculture, forestry, fisheries, wholesale and retail trade, also the other sectors exhibit potential for further growth. These findings underscore the importance of targeted policies and investments to stimulate economic growth and enhance the livelihoods of the local population.

Development Strategy of Leading Agricultural Commodities: Findings From LQ, GRM, and Shift-Share Analysis

This research aims to develop the potential of food crops as a first step in the development planning process. This research was conducted in Majalengka Regency and has resulted in three main studies. First, it identifies staple and non-staple food crops in the region. The data source used consists of time series data from 2018-2022, and primary data with sample determination using the Proportional Random Sampling method. The results of the analysis show that staple food crops in Kabupaten M consist of rice, corn, soybeans, peanuts and green beans, while non-staple food crops include cassava and sweet potatoes. Secondly, the study also indicated that rice is the main food crop in the region. Finally, maize and groundnuts were identified as priority crops for further development. These findings provide valuable information for agricultural development planning, focusing on the development of potential commodities.

Analysis of Potential Sectors in Determining Development Priorities in Bintuni Bay Regency

Economic development is a process to improve the standard of living and welfare of society. The goal of economic development is to realize better economic growth and absorb a larger workforce. Regional development carried out in an integrated manner through the preparation of spatial plans must be directed at solving the main problems in the region, in terms of welfare and economic growth. This study aims to determine the potential economic sectors to be developed in Teluk Bintuni regency. This research uses the LQ analysis method, Growth Ratio Model analysis, and Klassen Typology. The data used is secondary data in the form of GRDP of Teluk Bintuni regency and West Papua province in 2012-2022 sourced from the Central Statistics Agency (BPS). The analysis was carried out by determining the base sector, then formulating a sector typology using the Klassen Typology, and finally describing potential economic activities or sectors based on the criteria for regional economic structure growth using the Growth Ratio Model

Analysis of Leading Sectors in Driving the Economy of Majene Regency

West Sulawesi is the province with the lowest unemployment rate in Indonesia. Majene is a regency in West Sulawesi with increasing economic growth. This research aims to analyze the typology and leading sectors in Majene regency. This research uses the LQ, Shift Share, and Klassen Typology analysis methods. The data used is secondary data in the form of GRDP of Majene regency and West Sulawesi province for 2018-2022 which is sourced from the Central Statistics Agency (BPS). The analysis is carried out by determining the base sector, then determining the progressive sector, and finally formulating a sector typology using the Klassen Typology. The research results show that those included in the leading sectors are the mining sector, electricity and gas procurement, transportation, accommodation provision, information, financial services, real estate, government administration, educational services and other services. This sector has the potential to be developed. It is hoped that the results of this research can become the basis for an economic development strategy by looking at the potential of each sector typology

Determination of Agropolitan Areas Based on Leading Commodities of Horticultural Crop Production, Food Crop Production, and its Effect on the GRDP of the Agricultural Sector of Malang Regency

The agricultural sector can play a role in reducing the gap between rural and urban areas which has the effect of hindering the growth and development of economic development in Malang Regency. The purpose of this study is to determine the leading commodities and their influence on agricultural sector GRDP to help increase economic growth. The use of LQ analysis to determine the leading commodities of horticultural crop production and food crop production. Panel data regression analysis to determine the effect of independent variables on agricultural sector GRDP. It is known that there are top base sectors in Poncokusumo and Donomulyo sub-districts. Assessed an insignificant positive effect between horticultural crop production on the dependent variable, while a significant positive effect between food crop production on the dependent variable. Has a simultaneous influence between the independent variable and the dependent variable.

Analisis Potensi Ekonomi di Provinsi Sulawesi Tenggara

This study aims to determine the economic potential in Southeast Sulawesi province based on 17 economic sectors. This research is a quantitative study using the LQ analysis tool. Based on research results, the economic potential in Southeast Sulawesi province is relatively stable as indicated by the LQ value, where the mining and quarrying sector occupies the first position as the leading sector. The implication is that the mining and quarrying sector is still a priority in supporting the economy in the province of Southeast Sulawesi. This must be supported by involving more local communities so that the impact can be felt more for the people of Southeast Sulawesi in particular and Indonesia in general

Study of Biopharmaceutical Agricultural Development in Karanganyar Regency

Agriculture in Karanganyar Regency is not considered a primary sector in the Solo Raya area; however, it possesses untapped potential that needs to be developed. Medicinal plants, or bio-pharmaceutical commodities, are among the prominent potentials, with Karanganyar Regency ranking among the top 10 highest producers in Central Java Province and having seven sub-districts as centres for medicinal plant cultivation. Ginger, turmeric, and galangal are outstanding commodities in the Agricultural Region of Karanganyar, identified as potential and key commodities based on linkage system analysis, agropolitan subsystem analysis, spatial structure analysis, LQ and shiftshare analysis, policy analysis, and land carrying capacity analysis. The analysis reveals the presence of potential and challenges as driving and inhibiting factors. Nevertheless, the bio-pharmaceutical agriculture sector faces several issues, such as inadequate support in terms of facilities and infrastructure, as well as imbalances in inter-regional infrastructure conditions that impact marketing disparities. Additionally, monitoring and reporting of agricultural sector development programs are not yet optimal. Therefore, further analysis and studies are needed to develop the agricultural sector, particularly in the bio-pharmaceutical commodities domain.

ANALISIS SEKTOR AGRIBISNIS SEBAGAI SEKTOR POTENSIAL YANG BERKELANJUTAN DI KABUPATEN MAGETAN

The aims of this study are as follows: to analyze the agribusiness sector as a basic or potential sector in Magetan Regency, to analyze whether the agribusiness sector is a sustainable sector or not in Magetan Regency, to analyze whether the agribusiness sector is a fast-growing and slow-growing sector or a slow-growing advanced sector. slow. This research method uses LQ analysis, DLQ and Klasen Typology analysis. LQ analysis obtained LQ value = 3.34, meaning that the agribusiness sector of Magetan Regency production can meet the needs of the people of Magetan Regency and can even be exported to other regions or abroad, and can prosper the people of Magetan Regency. The DLQ analysis obtained a value of 2.16, meaning that the sector is superior and will remain the basis now and in the future. This shows that the agribusiness sector is a sustainable sector. The comparison between LQ and DLQ produces where LQ = 3.34 while DLQ = 2.16, so that LQ > 1 and DLQ > 1, where the agribusiness sector is the leading sector, meaning that currently the agribusiness sector in Magetan Regency remains the base sector in the present and future. The results of the Klassen typology analysis show the results of rik > ri and yi > yik, where the agribusiness sector is included in the criteria of a fast growing and fast growing sector.Keywords: Agribusiness Sector, LQ, DLQ, Klasen Typology

Analisis Sektor-Sektor Unggulan Perekonomian Kabupaten Pulang Pisau Tahun 2010-2020

This study aims to determine what sectors are the leading sectors of the economy of Pulang Pisau Regency and to find out how Pulang Pisau Regency's economic performance is regarding GRDP. By knowing the top sectors in Pulang Pisau Regency, the local government can predict all available resources to improve the economy in Pulang Pisau Regency. The method used in this research is analysis; (1) LQ is used to find out the primary and non-basic sectors; (2) Shift Share is used to determine shifts and changes in the structure of the economy; (3) MRP is used to compare the amount of income in an economic sector in a small area with a larger area. This study uses secondary data on GDP based on constant prices in Pulang Pisau Regency. The combined identification results from the analysis of LQ, Shift Share, and MRP are known to be the Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries, Construction, Accommodation, and Food and Drink Providers, Information and Communication sectors, which are the leading sectors in Pulang Pisau Regency.

Analysis of the Agricultural Potential of Papua Province

Papua is one of the provinces in Indonesia that has enormous agricultural potential because it has very large areas of land. Most of Papua's population works in agriculture. Even though the agricultural sector is still the basis of hope for the majority of the population, its contribution to GRDP is less than 25 percent. For this reason, it is necessary to carry out an analysis to determine the agricultural potential that exists in each regency/city in Papua Province and the basis and non-basis agricultural sectors that exist in each regency/city in Papua Province. The analytical methods used in this research are Shift-Share and Location Quotient. The results of the Shift-Share analysis, seen from the total value (Shift Share) of the Agricultural sector in all Regencies/Cities in Papua Province, is positive, which means that the growth of the sector is progressive and has the potential to be developed. Based on the results of the LQ analysis, there are 27 regencies included in the basis sector, which means these regencies have a surplus in their agricultural sector and meet the needs of their region and other regions. Besides, Mimika Regency and Jayapura City are included in the non-base sector.

Spatial Development of Towns and Their Potential in Strengthening Rural-Urban Linkages in Kabupaten Semarang

Contemporary urbanization process in Indonesia has been entering a regional-based process, which is indicated by the expansion of existing cities and the emergence of small towns in hinterland areas. Semarang Regency is a nonurban district that become hinterland area that is affected by urban extension from Semarang City. The urbanization process in Semarang Regency is characterized by the emergence of towns as urban areas on the outskirts of. This research aims to analyze the development of towns in Semarang Regency using GIS assistance and analyzing their potential in strengthening rural-urban linkages. In addition to GIS method, this research employs descriptive qualitative method. Data collected through document and literature review, which is enriched by primary data collection through observation and interviews. The analysis used descriptive qualitative analysis. To strengthen the argument, analysis is assisted by using scalogram, ISM, LQ, and spatial analysis in the form of network analysis. There are many towns developed in Semarang Regency that tend to be concentrated in the north-west area, adjacent to Semarang City. The development of these towns is supported by the development of public service facilities. In addition to be the public service centers, the towns have potential roles as, processing and marketing centers. However, there is only one town, Bandungan, which has the roles as a center for marketing and public services. Therefore, the regency needs to have facilities development in many towns in order to strengthen the towns’ roles in strengthening rural-urban linkages in the region.

ANALYSIS OF SUPERIOR COMMODITIES AND DETERMINATION OF AGROPOLITAN ACTIVITY CENTER IN SANROBONE

The Takalar Regency Spatial Plan designates the Sanrobone sub-district as an area for the cultivation of food crops, horticultural crops, and plantations. Agriculture in Sanrobone plays a crucial role in fulfilling food needs and driving economic growth in rural areas. The research aims to identify superior commodities, determine the agropolitan activity center, and develop strategies for the agropolitan area in the Sanrobone sub-district. The study was conducted from June to November 2022, covering six villages in the Sanrobone sub-district. The analytical techniques employed include LQ analysis, Shift share analysis, Klassen typology, qualitative descriptive analysis, and SWOT analysis. The research findings reveal that the superior commodity of Sanrobone is Chili Pepper, while prospective commodities are Corn and Paddy, and the lagging commodity is Seagrass. The agropolitan activity center is the main farming town in Banyuanyara, with production centers in the village of Tonasa, and farmer collection towns in Paddinging, Ujung Baji, Lagaruda, and Sanrobone. The recommended strategy is a progressive approach, where empowering farmer groups can enhance the economy, especially in the agricultural sector. Encouraging farmer groups in each village to actively participate in established joint farming groups can boost the potential of food crop agriculture in each village and contribute to the development of the agropolitan area.

The potential of cassava-goat integration in aerial and fertilizer production in Lampung

This study aimed to evaluate the integration potential of cassava plants with goats in aerial production and goat manure-derived fertilizers. This research was conducted by purposive sampling with the consideration that Lampung Province is the central region of cassava production in Indonesia and is the region with the highest population of goats outside Java Island. Sampling was carried out in Central Lampung and East Lampung with high-production cassava and goats. Analysis using LQ, FPCI, carrying capacity, and fertilizer production from goat manure. The data obtained was then presented descriptively. The results showed that FPCI was located in Central Lampung, East Lampung, North Lampung, Tulang Bawang, and Tulang Bawang West. The highest aerial carrying capacity of cassava, 31.6%, was concentrated in Central Lampung, thereby affecting the livestock carrying capacity. LQ analysis obtained showed that around 66.7% of the area in Lampung was a goat livestock base. The highest production of fertilizer from goat manure was obtained by South Lampung, which covers around 24.5% of the total area of Lampung. The conclusion from this study was that areas that have potential for development supported by the provision of feed sourced from aerial sources from cassava plant waste if integrating cassava plants and goat livestock were East Lampung, Central Lampung, North Lampung, Tulang Bawang, and Tulang Bawang Barat districts.

Location Question Analysis of the Umkm Sector of Jombang District

The existence of MSMEs is an alternative effort to overcome poverty, improving people's living standards through continuous empowerment of MSMEs. The aim of this research is to formulate a Location Quotion analysis strategy model for the MSME sector that can determine superior products to improve community welfare and regional income in Jombang Regency in accordance with superior potential and the problems faced.This research was carried out in several sub-districts in Jombang Regency, namely: Compiling a map of the potential conditions of superior products, revitalizing the development and conceptualization of alternative development opportunities for the MSME sector, and applying the SWOT analysis model, and applying LQ analysis with approaches namely: quantitative and descriptive.The development of small businesses (MSMEs) plays a role in creating economic conditions to form a competitive market mechanism, increasing the impetus for economic growth from domestic economic forces into the process of expanding employment opportunities and forming entrepreneurs evenly. The results of the LQ analysis are developing regional superior commodities, namely rice, sugar cane, duck eggs, beef, free-range chicken meat, broiler meat and fisheries considering that from the results of the LQ analysis these superior commodities have an LQ value> 1.

The Comparison Of Leading Sector Analysis Of Medan City And Nias Regency (Case Study 2017-2021)

The specific skills discussed in the research are the leading sectors in the economic system. Medan City and Nias Regency are two areas within the jurisdiction of North Sumatra Province. The two regions have differences in geographical location, making them both have differences in the economy's structure. In terms of economic growth, the two regions showed differences where Medan City is superior in percentage growth. A significant difference between the two regions is the significant difference in the status of the Regional Fiscal Capacity Index. This study aims to identify the leading sectors owned by Medan City and Nias Regency in the 2017-2021 observation period. The method used is descriptive quantitative by using analytical tools in the form of LQ and DLQ analysis, Klasen Typology, Shift-Share Analysis, and Overlay Analysis. The results showed that Medan City does not have a leading sector at all and Nias Regency has one leading sector in the form of the mining and quarrying sector. This study provides recommendations for the Medan City Government and Nias Regency Government to re-evaluate economic policies, especially related to sectors experiencing a slowdown, progressive sectors, and leading sectors in their respective regions.

Identification of Leading Commodity Areas in the Agricultural Sector Based on Historical Data and Land Suitability

In determining the utilization of the area, many government regulations have been made from the Central, Provincial, and Regional levels using a production data approach. However, it is getting different results with the same slice. The purpose of the study is to identify areas and determine priority agricultural commodities for food crops, horticulture, and plantation groups in Pasaman Regency. Analytical techniques used in Pasaman Regency are LQ analysis, shift share (SS) analysis, and field observation with a stakeholder approach. Based on the research, it is found that LQ and SS were able to determine the leading commodities of food crops, horticulture, and plantations in Pasaman Regency. The main food crop is corn, with the central development area in Tigo Nagari District. The superior horticultural crops and their development areas are chilies in Panti District and mangoes in Mapat Tunggul. The Role of Beef Cattle in Livestock Sector Development in Pati Regency, Central Java

Beef cattle are a strategic commodity that acts as a source of income and savings in the life of farmers. Pati Regency is one of the areas targeted to become beef cattle production centers. The purpose of the study was to analyze the potential and development strategies of Beef Cattle in Pati Regency. This research was conducted on August 2022 in Pati Regency. Data were analyzed using LQ, DLQ and carrying capacity analysis. From the results of the LQ analysis, it was known that beef cattle commodities are classified as bases in 13 sub-districts out of a total of 21 sub-districts in Pati Regency. The value of DLQ indicated that the beef cattle commodity in Pati Regency in the future can still survive as a basic sector. The result showed that beef cattle commodities in Pati Regency had a comparative advantage that can be developed into a leading sector. Pati Regency has a promising level of carrying capacity by 1,874,071 units livestock, which means that the area is capable of developing livestock. The study concluded that beef cattle had a role as basic and prospective commodity in supporting Pati Regency economic development.

Potential Sectors That Can Help Increase Local Revenue in Mahakam Ulu

This study aims to find sectors that can contribute to the increase in Local Original Income (PAD) of Mahakam Ulu Regency. Mahakam Ulu Regency has the potential of natural and human resources that can be utilized to encourage regional economic growth. Therefore, this study was conducted to understand the sectors contributing to PAD. The research method used involves analyzing the economic data of Mahakam Ulu Regency, identifying potential resources, and mapping the sectors' potential using tools such as LQ analysis, Klassen typology analysis, and Shift Share analysis. The results showed that several potential sectors affect the increase in PAD in Mahakam Ulu Regency: agriculture, forestry, fisheries, warehousing, and transportation. To improve PAD, it is necessary to carry out a development plan that includes development strategies for potential sectors, supporting policies, and implementation steps.

Study of Economic Structure and Leading Sectors in South Bengkulu Regency

This research was conducted with the aim of knowing the economic structure of South Bengkulu Regency and what sectors will be the leading sectors so that the sector produces benefits for the development of the economic sector in the region. The research was conducted in South Bengkulu Regency. South Bengkulu has a GRDP that is relatively larger than other districts. This is an indication that this district has an economic advantage when compared to other districts. The data used in this study are secondary data from 2017 – 2021. The basic data used are data on GDP and economic growth This study uses LQ, DLQ, Shiftshare, and combination (overlay) analysis. The results of research in agriculture, forestry, and fisheries (A) have the highest value ranging from 32.54% to 34.30% in the economic structure of GDP on the basis of constant prices and prevailing prices. The field of Electricity and Gas Procurement (D) produces the smallest benefit to GDP, which ranges from 0.08% - 0.10%. The results of LQ, DLQ, and Shiftshare analysis show that there are 7 sectors in South Bengkulu Regency that have positive values. This means that the sector has a high GDP value and has the potential to become a leading sector in the future.

Identification Of Leading Sectors In Batam: LQ, DLQ, and Shift-Share Analysis

The purpose of this research is to find out which sector is the leading sector in Batam. This research uses LQ, DLQ, and Shift-share Analysis. LQ analysis shows that Processing Industry, Electricity and Gas Procurement, Water Supply, Waste Management, Waste and Recycling, Construction, Transportation and Warehousing, Accommodation, Drinking, and Food Provision, Information and Communication, and Financial and Insurance Services can fulfill domestic needs in Batam and export products from these sectors to other regions. Using DLQ, it is found that Agriculture, Forestry, and Fisheries have the potential for rapid growth and development. Using shift-share, Processing Industry, Construction, Information and Communication, and Financial and Insurance Services have rapid growth rates, good competitiveness, and are progressive. Based on these findings, it is expected that the Batam Government and the Head of BP Batam can focus development on these leading sectors, in order to drive economic growth.
