Development Of Computer Based Test Online Standard Arabic Language (ILAA)/ Pengembangan Aplikasi Computer Based Test Online Bahasa Arab Terstandar (ILAA)

This research aims 1) the realization of a practical application system for Computer Based Test Online for Standard Arabic Language (ILAA). 2) Describing the feasibility of the ILAA. The research and development model used is the ADDIE (Analysis-Design-Development-Implementation-Evaluation) model developed by Reiser and Mollenda in 1990. This model was chosen because when used in the development, this process is considered sequential and interactive. The evaluation of each stage can bring development to the previous stage. The result of one stage is the initial product for the next stage. The Language Development Center of UIN Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang, Indonesia as the subject and data collection techniques using structured interviews, documentation, and questionnaires. The collected data were analyzed using the percentage formula. The results: 1) Development of the Online CBT Application for Arabic Language Test (ILAA) using MOODLE (Modular Object-Oriented Dynamic Learning Environment). The ILAA Arabic language test CBT application can be accessed through www.tesbahasa.uin-malang.ac.id. 2) Based on expert and student assessments; The Arabic language test online CBT application (ILAA) at the Language Development Center of UIN Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang is perfect and easy to use. This is evidenced by 93% of respondents choosing very good, easy, clear, and precise. Only 4.8% chose very poor and poor, less accessible and less precise answers.

Android-Based Comics: An Alternative Media to Improve Scientific Literacy

The students’ scientific literacy nowadays is relatively low because the lack of media learning to improve scientific literacy. This research aimed to test the feasibility of developed Android-based comics on material style and motion to scientific literacy. This study used a research and development using ADDIE (analysis, design, development, implementation, evaluation) model. The subject of this research is students from grade VIII at one of the junior high school in Indonesia. The instruments of this research are validation sheets and student response sheets. The result of validation test in term of material expert acquired on average percentages of 93.26% and media experts at 97.08%. Moreover, the pretest of students' scientific literacy is 2.26, and the post-test of students' scientific literacy is 3.40, with the N-gain formula obtained a value of 0.72 with the category "High". Based on these results, it can be concluded that the developed Android-based comics as an alternative media are worthy to be used according to expert recommendation and students’ responses. Android-based comics can be used to improve students’ scientific literacy. The implications for future teaching appear to be that Android-based comics have clear value as an innovative tool.

Basic Courses of Design Major Based on the ADDIE Model: Shed Light on Response to Social Trends and Needs

Social innovation leads to more diverse methods for design education, which helps design education response to social trends and needs. Social change has brought about the transformation of teaching objects for design education courses, which can provide the public with more opportunities to recognise and understand design. Through the introduction of the ADDIE (analysis, design, development, implementation, evaluation) model in teaching design pattern through social innovation, this paper explores the system design construction of a design education course. Using the teaching practice for the course “Three-dimensional Composition” in the product design major at Tianjin University of Technology as an example and relying on a process of analysing, designing, developing, implementing and evaluating, this paper launches a design plan for design education courses. Students’ learning satisfaction is used to measure the course design, and the latest course works of applied research results in 2020 will be displayed to show students’ self-confidence and satisfaction after class. The research described in this paper attempts to construct the teaching design of design courses based on the ADDIE model. It is intended to analyse the multi-dimensional connection of design education: meeting the expectations of college students seeking to acquire design knowledge and social experience, cultivating students’ interest, and enhancing their design achievement and confidence. Moreover, this paper seeks to shed light on ways to reform design course teaching so that the design education results are more in line with the needs and expectations of the times and society.

Development and Effectiveness of a Patient Safety Education Program for Inpatients.

Background: Patient safety is considered an important issue in the field of healthcare, and most advanced countries. Purpose: This study was designed to evaluate a patient safety education program among hospitalized patients. Of the 69 participants, 33 completed the patient safety education program while the 36 remaining participants were given educational booklets. The program was used to measure knowledge about patient safety, patient safety perception, and willingness to participate in patient safety. Methods: Patient safety education was developed by the analysis–design–development–implementation–evaluation model considering expert advice, patient needs, and an extensive literature review. Data were collected from 20 July to 13 November 2020. Data were analyzed using SPSS statistical program. The effectiveness of the experimental and control groups before and after education was analyzed using paired t-tests, and the difference in the amount of increase in the measured variables for each group was analyzed using independent t-tests. Results: The experimental group had significantly higher patient safety scores (t = 2.52, p = 0.014) and patient safety perception (t = 2.09, p = 0.040) than those of the control group. However, there was no significant difference between the two groups regarding the willingness to participate in patient safety. Conclusion: The patient safety education program developed using mobile tablet PCs could be an effective tool to enhance patient involvement in preventing events that may threaten the safety of patients. Further studies are recommended to develop a variety of educational interventions to increase patient safety knowledge and perceptions of patients and caregivers.

PENGEMBANGAN MEDIA PEMBELAJARAN PENDIDIKAN KEWARGANEGARAAN SUBTEMA INDAHNYA KERAGAMAN BUDAYA NEGERIKU BERBASIS VIDEO PROSHOW

A l earning media is very essential in the learning process since it aims to improve the students’ achievement and ability to understand the subject. One of the learning media is a video processed from Proshow application. This study aim ed to develop a video proshow-based learning media for ci vic education because it was very necessary to improve the student s’ achievement. This study used a research and development approach with the ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation) model. The data were collect ed through observation, questionnaires, and interviews. The results showed that the product of video proshow -based learning media: (1) was necessary to facilitate the learning of Civic Education in order to improve student s’ learning achievement, (2) the development of the learning media was considered feasible by a team of media experts and material experts (3) the video proshow-based learning media effectively improve d the student s’ achievement, which was showed by the results of small group trials for 88.09% and large group trials for 92.86%.

PENGEMBANGAN BUKU PANDUAN MEMBATIK TERHADAP KEMAMPUAN FISIK MOTORIK HALUS ANAK USIA 5-6 TAHUN

This study aimed to describe the development of products in the form of a batik handbook on physical motor skills that are suitable to use for children aged 5-6 years. The problem underlying the research is that fine motor learning activities are usually given with the assignment method using LKA and conducted in the classroom. These activities show less effective results to improve children's fine motor skills, therefore the researcher aimed to provide varied and fun activities for children by making batik activities. The method used is ADDIE (Analysis-Design-Development-Implementation-Evaluation) model development research. In this study used 3 stages of ADDIE research namely analysis stage, design stage, and development stage. The data collection method used a questionnaire with a validation sheet on material expert lecturers and media experts. The feasibility of the batik handbook media was reviewed from the aspect of graphic feasibility, the aspect of content feasibility, the aspect of presentation feasibility and the aspect of language feasibility. Based on the evaluation of the validity test in the overall development, the results obtained by media experts gained the score of 82.5% percentage included in the category of excellent qualifications. While the media experts got the percentage value is 89.5%. The percentage included in the category of excellent qualifications which means and is suitable for use in batik learning activities. Based on theses result it can be concluded that the hanbook of batik on the fine motoric physical abilities of children aged 5-6 years. The developmentof a batik guidebook for kindergarten teachers that can stimulate the fine motoric physical abilities of children aged 5-6 years.

PENGEMBANGAN MEDIA PEMBELAJARAN JARUMIA (JAM RUMUS KIMIA) PADA SUB MATERI TATA NAMA SENYAWA BINER DI SMA NEGERI 1 TEKARANG

The low knowledge of student learning outcomes in the binary compound nomenclature for class X MIA at SMA Negeri 1 Tekarang is due to the difficulty and confusion of students in writing the names for binary compound nomenclature. One of the factors for the success of the learning method is the use of appropriate learning media. A learning medium is needed, namely the Jarumia learning media to make it easier for students to understand the concept of chemical compound nomenclature. This study aims to develop the Jarumia learning media in the binary compound nomenclature for class XI at SMA Negeri 1 Tekarang which is valid and practical. The instruments used were validation sheets and teacher and student response questionnaires. This type of research is the ADDIE (Analysis, design, development, implementation, evaluation) model of Research and Development (R&D). The results of the analysis show that the Jarumia learning media developed is valid with an average value of 0.93 with high criteria. The percentage of the results of the questionnaire responses to the initial field trials and the main field trials were 89.74% and 85.45%, respectively, with very practical criteria. Thus, the needle learning media developed is suitable for use as a learning medium on compound nomenclature material, especially in the binary compound sub-material.

Design and Development of Linear Algebra Peer Tutoring Strategy to Develop Students Mathematical Thinking Processes Based on Experts' Evaluation

This study aims at designing, developing and evaluating the effectiveness of a learning strategy known as linear algebra peer tutoring strategy (LAPTS) in a polytechnic classroom setting in order to develop students mathematical thinking processes (MTPs) based on Mason’s approach. Preliminary investigations were conducted on the conventional teaching and learning in order to identify students' problems in linear algebra (LA) and its outcomes were then analyze to fit the theoretical framework as well as meet the need for the design. LAPTS was designed using ADDIE (analysis, design, development, implementation, evaluation) model employing both quantitative and qualitative methods. During the formative evaluation, a pilot study was conducted to verify and validate the LAPTS through experts' content validity and interviews. Seventy-three students (36 students for experimental group and 37 students for control group) voluntarily participated in the study to ascertain the effectiveness of the LAPTS based on their MTPs. The findings show a significant difference between the mean scores of both experimental and control groups on posttest at α=0.05 (p=0.000) level of significant. In addition, the analysis of the students' MTPs showed a significant difference with respect to specializing, generalizing and conjecturing with a non-significant difference in convincing. Results from the study showed development of MTPs and learning among the students. The findings in this research indicated that, LAPTS has the potential to develop students' MTPs with respect to Mason’s approach and learning in LA.

Creating G-Class: A gamified learning environment for freshman students

In this era of digital media, teachers are competing against technological advancements in gaining students’ engagement and attention. Incorporating game elements in the learning environment known as gamification is a new field of study that re-engages students in learning. This study was done primarily to create a gamified learning environment that will serve as another teaching strategy to engage students in learning. The learning environment was aligned with the principles of gamification and was called Gamified-Class or simply G-Class. Using data gathered from 27 freshman college students, G-Class was developed following the Analysis–Design–Development–Implementation–Evaluation model of instructional design and using the Mechanics–Dynamics–Aesthetics framework of game design. The material was implemented in a General Physics class through a quasi-experimental research design. A G-Class mobile and desktop application together with a user guide was created. G-Class was evaluated both as instructional design material and as instructional task. As an instructional design, it was assessed in terms of content and learning objectives; design, interactivity, and usability; and assessment aligned with learning outcomes. As an instructional task, G-Class was assessed using the Intrinsic Motivation Inventory which consisted of four subscales in a 7-point Likert scale, namely, interest/enjoyment, perceived competence, choice, and pressure/tension. Overall, G-Class was given positive rating both as instructional material and as instructional task. With an overall rating of 5.60, students were found to be more engaged with their subject. Applying gamification in the learning environment pointed to its beneficial effects in enhancing students’ engagement in learning.

E-MONITORING PERFORMANCE LECTURER BASED ON CLOUD COMPUTING SYSTEM

Lecturers in study programs make a major contribution to the quality of study program accreditation, particularly in the upcoming IAPS 4.0 completeness. The lecturer base needs to be managed through a concrete, transparent, structured, comprehensive, and accountable system. Lack of data management in lecturers at the Mechanical Engineering Education / PTM Study Program so far is still paperless based so that it is less effective, efficient, having to copy documents, and tends only to collect data close to the accreditation of study programs. This research aims: (1) to produce e-monitoring products on the performance of lecturers based on a cloud computing system; (2) knowing the level of feasibility of e-monitoring products on the performance of lecturers based on cloud computing system at PTM Study Program. The research method uses Research and Development (R&D), which adopts the ADDIE (Analysis-Design-Development-Implementation-Evaluation) model. The research sample was 11 PTM lecturers. Validators of eligibility included the chairman of the LPM and the chair of the UST IT team. The instruments used included questionnaires and documentation. This research succeeded in producing a product in the form of a cloud computing system with a private cloud type with the Platform As A Service (PaaS) model. The data used as an assessment of lecturer performance include governance, HR performance, education performance, research performance, and service performance. The results of expert assessments obtained an average of 91.25%, which shows that this system is very feasible to use. While the evaluation results of the system implementation showed that 90% of PTTM lecturers were able to understand and skillfully operate the cloud system, thus this system is very feasible to be used as e-monitoring of lecturer performance that is accurate, accountable, objective, and safe to use.

Revitalization of Occupational Safety and Health Teaching Materials Based on Life Based Learning Paradigms

Revitalizing OSH (Occupational Safety and Health) teaching materials is needed in line with the essence of OSH in the scope of education, work environment, and social life. OSH teaching materials used are still learning-oriented content, while the demands of the learning paradigm have shifted to Life Based Learning (LBL). OSH teaching materials in PTM (Mechanical Engineering Education) Study Programs need to be revitalized. The purpose of this study is : (1) producing OSH teaching materials; and (2) evaluating the results of the implementation of revitalized OSH teaching materials. The method used to achieve the research objectives is the Research and Development (R&D), which adopts the ADDIE (Analysis-Design-Development-Implementation-Evaluation) model. The instrument used was a questionnaire based on the feasibility of teaching materials based on students' apperception. Topics covered in this OSH textbook include the fire chapter, First Aid for Accidents (P3K), Occupational safety and health Management System (SMK3), occupational nutrition, radioactive and noise hazards, personal protective equipment (PPE), and ergonomics. The results of expert assessments (industry OSH experts and university lecturers) obtained an average rating of 85.6% as follows. The test results on 54 students showed an average total response of 83% showed that OSH teaching materials based on the LBL paradigm were very suitable for use in tertiary institutions.

DEVELOPMENT OF INTERACTIVE LEARNING MEDIA LECTORA INSPIRE ON BASIC BANKING SUBJECT TO IMPROVE STUDENT’S LEARNING INTEREST

This research aimed to develop interactive learning media with Lectora Inspire for the students of grade X AKL SMK Negeri 1 Tempel on Basic Banking subjects with the competence of saving. The research used the Research Development with ADDIE (analysis, design, development, implementation, evaluation) model. The media was assessed by material expert, media expert, and teacher. The results show that the feasibility of interactive learning media by material expert in strongly feasible category (average score of 4, 26), by media experts in strongly feasible category (average score of 4, 36), by teacher in strongly feasible (average score of 4, 33), and by students in feasible category (average score of 4, 07). The interactive learning media developed is strongly feasible to be used as learning media for students. The student’s learning interest before and after the use of interactive learning media has increased by 8% from 64% to 72%. Paired sample t-test obtained tcount -5.213 with sig 0.000 showed significant learning interest’s improvement. Therefore, it can be concluded that interactive learning media is able to improve student’s learning interest. Keywords: Interactive Learning Media, Lectora Inspire, Student’s Learning Interest.

MAKSI for ICT-based accounting learning at vocational high schools

This study aims to produce ICT-based learning media for Vocational High Schools (VHS) in the form of ICT-based accounting multimedia application, named “Multimedia Akuntansi” (MAKSI) on bank reconciliation material. The development of learning media is done because of the limited number of innovative learning media available for VHS students, especially in the accounting field. The condition is influential on the students' low level of understanding. This research was research and development using the ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation) model. The use of the ADDIE model is because the model is flexible, so it can be used for learning instrument development. At each phase of development, evaluation and revision were conducted so that the resulting product became a valid and reliable product. This development resulted in MAKSI proven to be suitable for use in accounting learning. The feasibility of MAKSI was evaluated from the average score of product feasibility validation from the material expert by 87%, from the media expert of 96%, and the result of the students' evaluation by 88.7%. MAKSI can help the learning process more enjoyable so that the media is interesting and proven to improve students' understanding significantly. MAKSI can be a complement, alternative, and variation of learning media in VHS. This product can be operated via laptops/computers as well as smartphones through free downloads in Play Store. The utilization of MAKSI is in accordance with the curriculum demand on the utilization of ICT in the learning process to support independent and student-centered learning.

Developing Inquiry-Based Practice Equipment of Heat Conductivity to Foster The Students’ Critical Thinking Ability

The purpose of this research is to develop inquiry-based practice equipment of heat conductivity to foster the students’ critical thinking ability. The research method employed was research and development (R & D). The development model used was ADDIE (Analysis-Design-Development-Implementation-Evaluation) model. Validation of product development was done by science education experts. Field-testing was conducted to the seventh-grade students of State Junior High school 3 (SMP Negeri 3) Blambangan Umpu Way Kanan. The data collection was done through observation, questionnaires, and tests of the effectiveness of fostering students' critical thinking ability. Data analysis was done through paired sample T-Test and independent sample T-Test. The results showed that the inquiry-based practice equipment of heat conductivity was effective in fostering the students’ critical thinking ability the value of N-gain 0.70 (high category). The equipment and its guides were considered interesting, practical, and useful by the students. So, it is concluded that the inquiry-based practice equipment of heat conductivity is able to foster the students' critical thinking ability.

The present article is an attempt to highlight the training need analysis approach and its applicability. Further, it focuses on the application of information and communication technology tools to analyze the data patterns during training. The ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation) approach has been chosen to explore the correlation between techniques/ approaches of training need analysis and evaluation of training program for n = 100.

The present study is an attempt to highlight the training need analysis approach and its applicability. Further, it focuses on the application of information and communication technology tools to analyze the data patterns during training need. ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation) approach has been chosen to explore the correlation between techniques/ approaches of training need analysis and evaluation of training program for n=100. The respondents have been surveyed to express their views on five levels of ADDIE Model. Further, an association has been explored between the demographics of trainers and design & development process of the training programs.

Developing an Instructional Design for the Design of Infographics and the Evaluation of Infographic Usage in Teaching Based on Teacher and Student Opinions

Infographics have been frequently used in recent years with the purpose of the visual presentation of information. It is a visualisation method which aims at presenting any content with a visual composition, combining such elements as shapes, symbols, graphics, photographs, illustrations, and texts for the target audience. The purpose of this research is to develop an instructional design based on the ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation) model of infographic design as well as the determination of student and teacher opinions on the usage of infographics in teaching. The study group of the research consists of 43 teachers and 51 elementary school students from elementary schools in Cyprus who participated in the research process voluntarily. The implementation process of the study consisted of 52 hours of education in face-to-face and online learning environments with the participation of 43 elementary school teachers. The purpose of this education activity was to develop knowledge and skills in the theoretical and applied dimensions required for the design of infographics. The data collection tools used in the research were the “self-efficacy scale for the design and usage of infographics”, the “opinion survey for the usage of infographics in teaching environments”, a “semi-structured interview form for the design of infographics for teachers and their usage in teaching environments” and a “semi-structured interview form for elementary school students for the usage of infographics in education”. According to the results of the study, the opinions of elementary school teachers on the usage of infographics and their self-efficacy for infographic design shows a significant and positive difference before and after training. Interviews were held on the usage of infographics in learning environments with the 43 elementary school teachers and 51 elementary school students after the completion of the training process. Teachers used the infographics that they had developed according to the course contents for eight weeks in their courses after the training was completed and observed the impact of infographics in terms of different dimensions. At the end of the implementation, it was found that both teachers and students had positive opinions on the usage of infographics in learning environments.

시각장애 비만대상자를 위한 동기강화 비만관리프로그램의 개발 및 효과평가

Purpose: The purpose of this study was to develop and apply a motivation-strengthening obesity management program for obese subjects with visual impairment and evaluate its effects. Methods: The program development and evaluation periods were from March to August 2018. The study design was an experimental study of non-equality, control repeat design. 25 subjects in the experimental group participated in the 12-week obesity management program and the 26 people in the control group did not. Results: The motivation-strengthening obesity management program included stretching exercises for 30 minutes in the morning five times a week. In addition, counseling, education, and group discussions were continued once a week for motivational strengthening. Special custom exercises for blind patients were also completed once a week simultaneously. Both of these activities were continued for 50 minutes a week for a total of 12 weeks. Measurements were recorded periodically to identify the sustained effects of the program. The obese subjects with visual impairment improved their knowledge of obesity, perceived disability, self-efficacy of exercise, and quality of life related to obesity through the motivational obesity management program. Waist circumference, systolic blood pressure, diastolic blood pressure, and fasting blood sugar were also improved in obese subjects. Conclusion: The study findings indicate that this program could be an active intervention for the control of weight gain in participants with visual impairment. Therefore, the motivation-strengthening program based on the ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation & Evaluation) model could be an effective strategy for better health outcomes of obese subjects with visual impairment. Applying the ADDIE—Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation and Evaluation—Instructional Design Model to Continuing Professional Development for Primary Care Physicians in Saudi Arabia

Background: As professionals, family physicians are obliged to remain current on advances and trends in medicine and health care delivery. This is usually achieved through engagement in continuing professional development. Instructional design is a systematic method of development of education and training programs for improved learner performance. ADDIE is an instructional systems design model for building effective education and training in five phases: analysis, design, development, implementation and evaluation. Purpose: The purpose of this study was to introduce a professional development program for primary care physicians using the ADDIE instructional design model. Methods: Program requirements were defined using a needs assessment questionnaire and consultation observations. Interactive sessions were designed and developed based on the analysis results. The sessions were evaluated with interim and final feedback forms, a final problem-based questionnaire, a self-assessment questionnaire, and focus groups. Results: Scores on the final knowledge assessment were lower than expected. However, at least 50% of participants self-reported their learning improvement as “great” for 16 out of 23 topics. Focus group feedback was generally positive but also identified areas for improvement. Conclusion: Applying a structured instructional design model for creating professional development program for physicians is a fruitful, relevant experience in primary healthcare. 1) Continuing professional development (CPD) is an essential method to help physicians maintain and further develop knowledge and expertise; 2) The ADDIE (analysis, design, development, implementation, evaluation) model provides an established and useful structure for creating effective CPD programs; 3) The ADDIE process ensures that physicians’ appropriate learning needs are met effectively; 4) The evaluation phase of the ADDIE process provides feedback that can lead to improvement in the CPD program’s future iterations.

Evidence-Based Nursing Education: Effective Use of Instructional Design and Simulated Learning Environments to Enhance Knowledge Transfer in Undergraduate Nursing Students

Much confidence has been placed in the nursing profession's potential to positively impact the U.S. health care system. However, concerns about patient safety and quality beckon health care providers to reassess traditional practices. Professional nursing programs aim to prepare novice nurses with strong clinical skills to effectively and safely care for patients. Faculty shortages and fewer clinical sites for students present challenges to faculty. Limited exposure in the clinical practice setting hinders the development of intuition. In addition, new graduates often enter practice with an unclear understanding of their role at the bedside. Educators are challenged to find innovative teaching strategies to effectively prepare new graduates for entering the workforce. Simulation has been shown to be a valuable teaching-learning strategy. Using an instructional design model that is student centered as the basis for simulation activities in an undergraduate curriculum is one method to effectively provide much needed clinical experience in a safe learning environment. This article details the application of the ADDIE (analysis, design, development, implementation, evaluation) model of instructional design to the use of simulation in nursing education in an effort to facilitate improved clinical performance in new graduate nurses.
