A model for developing cross-curricular digital competences of higher education students in non-core areas it areas in the process of additional education

Introduction. One of the urgent tasks in the implementation of the federal project "Workforce for the Digital Economy", which is part of the national digital economy programme, the transition to the digital economy is the development of professional competencies for workers in various sectors in the field of end-to-end digital technology. The digital competencies are developed in response to the requirements of society, the state, and the labour market for the individual in the digital society.Materials and Methods. The analysis, generalization and systematization of scientific research, and personal experience of formation and development of digital competences allowed us to identify their universality and the end-to-end principle of mastering them, which allowed us to draw a conclusion about the feasibility and necessity of developing a pedagogical model for forming end-to-end digital competences of higher education students in non-core IT disciplines.Results. The research defines the concept of «transversal digital competences» (TDC) at the stage of digital transformation of higher education; presents components, criteria, indicators and indices of formation of transversal digital competences of students; presents a pedagogical model for shaping transversal digital competences of students of non-profile IT fields in a classical university in the process of additional professional education. The stages of formation of end-to-end digital competences of students are considered in detail, the purpose of pedagogical model, tasks, principles, factors and organizational and pedagogical conditions of formation are defined, the results of research are presented.Discussion and Conclusions. This pedagogical model was developed in the process of studying the conditions for the formation of digital competences and skills of using digital technologies in students at Kemerovo State University. Partially the results of this study were presented in the report «Basic principles of formation of end-to-end digital competences in students in the process of mastering additional professional programmes» at the II All-Russian scientific-practical conference with international participation «Digital humanities and educational technologies - DHTE 2021» (organizer - FSBEI VPO "Moscow State Psychological and Pedagogical University").

Conference on Physics of Ultracold Atoms in Russia – a new step towards deepening international cooperation

Abstract At the end of December 2021, there was held online the annual, fifteenth in a row, All-Russian Conference on Physics of Ultracold Atoms, in which scientists from other countries took part. Over the past years, this conference has changed dramatically: from a one-day workshop of participants in the integration projects of the Siberian Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences, where the results of the year were summed up, into a full-scale All-Russian conference with a wide geographic coverage of participants from Vladivostok to Voronezh. Foreign scientists also took an active part in the work of the conference, but until recently they were Russianspeaking researchers, and so Russian remained the working language of the conference. In 2021, an important step was taken towards its transition to a full-fledged international format. Russian and English became the working languages, and in order to increase the level and significance of the conference, as well as to deepen international cooperation in this field of physics, a number of foreign scientists were invited.

The plenary and breakout sessions of the multidisciplinary 4th All-Russian (19th) Scientific Youth Workshop Conference “Youth and Science in the North – 2022” provided a more detailed insight into particularly important issues of fundamental medicine and current physiological research conducted by young Russian scientists, including that in the European North of Russia. At the moment, the most relevant are studies on hypoxia and hypoxic training for athletes, as well as functioning of the cardiovascular system and consequences of COVID-19. Participating in the “Fundamental Sciences to Medicine” section, the author of this paper reported on one of the important topics of endocrine research in the European North of Russia, namely, photoperiodic dynamics of thyroid profile parameters, being key regulators of the body’s metabolic processes that play a significant role in its adaptation to changes in the environment.

XI All-Russian Conference with international participation “Fuel combustion: theory, experiment, applications” (FCTEA 2021) November 09-12, 2021, Novosibirsk, Russia

On November 9 – 12, 2021, Kutateladze Institute of Thermophysics SB RAS had the Anniversary XI All-Russian Conference with international participation “Fuel Combustion: Theory, Experiment, Applications” (FCTEA 2021). The scientific topics of the Conference covered a wide range of areas of fundamental and applied research related to the study of combustion of various fuels with reference to the modern and advanced technologies of energy production and engine manufacturing technology.This Conference was firstly organized in the 70s of the XX century by outstanding Russian scientists who created the foundations of modern trends in the development of world science in a number of areas, where the Russian fundamental and applied science retains the leadership. In recent decades, the Conference has been held regularly every three years and it is a unique scientific event in Russia that attracts a lot of attention of Russian and foreign scientists and specialists in the field of energy, chemistry and mechanics of reacting media. The event was attended by more than 100 representatives of scientific organizations, universities and energy companies from Novosibirsk, Krasnoyarsk, Tomsk, Kemerovo, Yekaterinburg, Moscow, Vladivostok, St. Petersburg and other cities of the Russian Federation as well as from Mongolia, Belarus, and Kazakhstan participated.The organizer of the Conference is the Kutateladze Institute of Thermophysics SB RAS: the leading scientific organization in Russia in the field of heat and mass transfer processes as well as scientific and technical developments for traditional and renewable energy. The scope of Institute research is focused on obtaining the practical results, including simulation of combustion processes in the components of power equipment and engines, and creating the most sophisticated technologies. TRADITIONS AND INNOVATIONS IN THE IMPLEMENTATION OF THE STATE LANGUAGE POLICY OF THE RUSSIAN FEDERATION IN THE FIELD OF EDUCATION AND SCIENCE

In the period from October 28 to December 13 in the city of Abakan (Republic of Khakassia) The All- Russian scientific and practical conference “Traditions and innovations in the implementation of the state language policy of the Russian Federation in the field of education and science of the regions of Siberia and the Far East” was held. The scientific event was held within the framework of regional events dedicated to: the Year of Science and Technology in the Russian Federation, the Year of the Khakass Heroic Epic in the Republic of Khakassia, the 30th anniversary of the Republic of Khakassia. The purpose of the All-Russian Conference was to attract the attention of the scientific and professional community of the Siberian, Far Eastern and other federal districts to the topical issues of the implementation of the state language policy in the regions of the Russian Federation, improving the quality of teaching and learning the native languages of the peoples of Siberia and the Far East. The conference was attended by more than 200 specialists from 12 regions of the Russian Federation. The work took place within the framework of 5 discussion platforms. The event showed the great importance of language education, teaching and learning of the native languages of the peoples of Siberia and the Far East, actualized significant problems of ethno-cultural, ethno-linguistic orientation.

Институт горного дела Уральского отделения РАН: современное состояние и перспективы развития

The article aims to demonstrate the current state and directions of the institute's development in line with the adopted strategy. It describes the results of fundamental and applied research performed over the last 5 years, reveals the main aspects of scientific, organizational, innovative and social activities, and presents the achieved and target personnel and economic indicators of the Institute's work. The research has been performed using retrospective analysis and statistical data processing. The paper shows the achievements of the Institute in rejuvenation of its research staff, advanced training of young researchers at its own postgraduate courses, preparation and defense of theses at the Institute's Academic Council. The Institute's efforts related to its integration with academic and university research, as well as its activities in the international arena, are outlined. The strategy to improve the material level provides incentives for high quality implementation of the researcher's individual plan. Significant results have been achieved in addressing the social concerns of the Institute's staff, most of which relate to availability of housing. Activities of the Young Scientists' Council to organize competitions, the All-Russian Youth Conference, and launching of a web-based publication on issues of subsoil use are described. Innovative and research and education centers, laboratories for non-destructive testing and geomaterials testing have been set up to develop the required infrastructure. The main anticipated results of the Institute's development strategy are the concentration of material and human resources to tackle research in priority areas, achieving world-class results in these areas, creating an innovation potential for the development of critical technologies in the Russian Federation and reaching the top-level category of institutes

All-Russian scientific conference with international participation “Thermophysical basis of energy technologies” (TBET 2021) was held at National Research Tomsk Polytechnic University, Tomsk, Russia, October 26-28, 2021.Scientific reports of participants were made in three sections covering the following topics:1. Combustion technologies; 2. Technical thermal physics and nuclear energy; 3. Thermal engineering and automation of technological processes and metrology measurement systems; Over 60 attendees took part in the Conference in both online and offline formats. Siberian Literature in Socio-Cultural Range

This review gives an idea of the content of the All-Russian scientific and practical conference (with international participation) "Literature of Siberia in the sociocultural space", which was held on September 23-24, 2021, in Irkutsk. The conference was dedicated to the 100th birth anniversary of the literary scientist, critic, researcher, and devotee of Siberian literature - Vasily Prokopyevich Trushkin. The conference was attended by the professor students and colleagues from Irkutsk State University, famous philologists from other Siberian universities - Barnaul, Kemerovo, Krasnoyarsk, Tomsk, Ulan-Ude, researchers, and experts in Siberian literature from Moscow, St. Petersburg, China, USA and India.
 Topical issues of the history and theory of Siberian literature, its specificity and features of interaction with general sociocultural phenomena were discussed.
 The "geography" of the conference participants, the variety of reports topics, lively discussions and polemics testify to the relevance, great research potential of the cardinal direction of science - literary local history, at the origins of which was Professor Vasily Prokopyevich Trushkin.

the XII All-Russian Conference “Thermophysics and Power Engineering in Academic Centers” (TPEAC 2021) October 25-27, 2021, Sochi, RussiaThe All-Russian scientific conference “Thermophysics and Power Engineering in Academic Centers“ (TPEAC-2021) continues series of conferences (workshops) on thermophysics and heat power engineering. Since the first conference until now, the principal organizer of the conference is the Kutateladze Institute of Thermophysics, SB RAS. The 1st Workshop of the University Departments and Research Teams in Siberia and the far East specializing in thermophysics was held in Novosibirsk in 1978. Since then, the geographical spread of the Conference expanded every year involving various research centers: Tomsk, 1980; Krasnoyarsk, 1982; Vladivostok, 1984; Kemerovo, 1986; Ulan-Ude, 1988. The 7th Workshop was held in Novosibirsk, September 9-12, 1990, at the Institute of Thermophysics SB RAS. Workshop of Universities in Siberia and Far East on Thermophysics and Heat Power Engineering, dedicated to the 85th Birthday of the Workshop founder, academician S.S. Kutateladze, was held in Novosibirsk, October 6-8, 1999, at the Institute of Thermophysics SB RAS, and the Novosibirsk State Technical University (NSTU). Since 1999 new series of workshops started. The 2nd Workshop was held in Tomsk, 2001, at the Tomsk Polytechnic University (TPU); 3rd - in Barnaul, 2003, at the Altai State Technical University; 4th - in Vladivostok, 2005, at the Far-East State Technical University; 5th - in Irkutsk, 2007, at the Irkutsk State Technical University. Since 2009, when the 6th Workshop was held in Krasnoyarsk at the Siberian Federal University, it acquired the status of an All-Russian conference. The 7th All-Russian Workshop of Universities on Thermophysics and Power Engineering was held in Kemerovo, 2011, at the Kuzbas State Technical University; 8th - in Yekaterinburg, 2013, at the Ural Federal University. Since 2015, when the 9th Workshop was held in Kazan, at the Kazan State Engineering University, it acquired the status of an international conference. European constitutionalism: divergent trends (All-Russian scientific Conference with international participation)

All-Russian scientific Conference with international participation “European Constitutionalism: Divergent Trends” was held on the 9 of June 2022 in the Institute of State and Law of RAS. The conference addressed a wide range of problems related to the perception of European constitutional ideas in Russia and their influence on the legal systems of non-western countries, modern constitutional reforms, the functioning of the institution of constitutional review and ensuring of human rights and freedoms. It was attended by representatives of leading Russian scientific and educational institutions, as well as researchers from Belarus, Kazakhstan and Vietnam.

Diasporas and states of origin: legal mechanisms of interaction (All-Russian scientific Conference with international participation)

On 19 April 2022 the Institute of State and Law of the Russian Academy of Sciences hosted the All-Russian scientific Conference with international participation “Diasporas and states of origin: legal mechanisms of interaction”, organized jointly with the RUDN University Law Institute. The participants of the event considered a wide range of theoretical and applied issues related to the implementation of state policy toward compatriots living abroad. The conference was attended by scholars and practitioners, and representatives of foreign diasporas operating in Russia.

Хроника конференции "Языковая и дискурсивная креативность человека говорящего: современный мир в языках России, Востока и Запада"

On January 18-22, 2022, the First All-Russian Conference with international participation "Linguistic and discursive creativity of Homo loquens: The modern world in the languages of Russia, East and West" was held on the basis of the Oriental Institute - School of Regional and International Studies of the Far Eastern Federal University, Vladivostok, Russia. The material for the research presented at the conference wase the means of expressing linguistic creativity in many languages, including those of different structures: Russian, English, German, Spanish, French, Greek, Korean, Chinese and Japanese. In the presentations of the plenary speakers, important theoretical issues were developed: the methodology for the research field of linguocreativity, the multidimensional nature of the phenomenon and the problems of determining the parameters of linguistic creativity, the classification of its levels, types and kinds. The discussions highlighted the search for effective research techniques and methods for studying non-standard phenomena in modern languages. Within the sections the role of linguistic creativity was discussed in the problematic discourses of the modern world, in foreign language education, Internet communication, and in the representation of personality. The phenomena of linguistic creativity in all the languages studied revealed the acute problems of interaction between language and society, language and culture. During the conference, a constructive exchange of experience in the study of new, non-standard linguistic phenomena in the languages of the world took place. The multidimensional analysis of linguistic creativity in different types of discourse has formed the basis for searching for patterns in the use of linguocreative techniques in different languages of the world. Among the promising tasks - based on the obtained synchronous data - is further comparative and contrastive analysis of languages and discourses.

Oriental Field Research-2022: the Second All-Russian Academic Conference

The paper is a review of the second All-Russian Scientific Conference “Oriental Field Research” held in Moscow at the Institute of Oriental Studies of the Russian Academy of Sciences on April 20-21, 2022. In this scientific event 65 researchers from different countries, near and far abroad, took part — from Russia (such regions as Dagestan, Kalmykia, Tatarstan), Tajikistan, China, Pakistan, Italy, Hungary. These are representatives of academic institutions, museums, higher education, and independent researchers. The work of the conference was held in a mixed format, face-to-face reports and online presentations were heard, a total of 50 reports. The increased number of participants compared to the previous year indicates the importance and relevance of the ongoing scientific event. The topics of the reports were varied and touched upon current problems and prospects of Oriental studies, the results of field expeditions, archaeological, underwater archaeological, epigraphic, anthropological, sociological, and many other issues. Within the framework of the conference, the exhibition “Expeditions of the Institute of Oriental Studies of the Russian Academy of Sciences” was organized, at which the artworks of T. P. Udyma, created in the course of her work in the South Tajik Archaeological Expedition under the leadership of Academician B. A. Litvinsky in Tajikistan, as well as photographs taken during modern expeditions by employees of the Institute of Oriental Studies of the Russian Academy of Sciences in Syria, Egypt, Sudan, Mali, Ethiopia, India, the Republic of Korea, and Uzbekistan. This scientific symposium was prepared by the Center for Historical and Archaeological Research of Crimea and the Mediterranean. The proceedings of the conference in the form of scientific articles are planned to be published in a special issue of the “Orientalistika” academic journal.

We present an overview of the All-Russian Scientific and Practice Conference “Legal regulation in the sphere of health care under the conditions of new challenges: theory and practice issues”, held on March 25–26, 2022 and organized by Derzhavin Tambov State University. Other co-organizers of the conference are also noted, which are Kemerovo State University, Russian University of Transport, Main Military Clinical Hospital of the National Guard Troops of Russian Federation, Tambov branch of the Association of Lawyers of Russia and “Plus Guarantee Tambov” Company. The conference is aimed at discussing and understanding the current state of legal regulation of medical field in the prism of such aspects as the development of public administration digitalization in the field of healthcare, transformation of state supervision and strengthening of administrative responsibility in this area, commercialization of medical services, emergence of a new coronavirus infection (COVID-19 ) and complication of sanitary and epidemiological situation, as well as the development of the need to overcome the problems of criminal law protection of the health of citizens and the corresponding law enforcement practice. The conference participants are scientists and practitioners in the sphere of medicine and jurisprudence. The review highlights the content of plenary and breakout sessions, which are titled: “Legal support for the organization of healthcare in the face of modern challenges”, “Criminal legal protection of public relations in the field of healthcare: modern challenges and ways to respond to them”; “Trends in administrative and legal regulation in the field of healthcare: problems and development prospects”; “Legal aspects of medical activity in federal executive bodies providing for military service, and in law enforcement agencies: problems, prospects, domestic and international issues”.

Education of students for the staffing of high-tech industries at the GDD Department at Novosibirsk State Technical University

The paper deals with the aspects of staff education for the high-tech industries of Russia at the GDD Department at Novosibirsk State Technical University. The peculiarity of training is the development and implementation of targeted educational modules, taking into account the peculiarities of the enterprises where the graduates will work. The annual All-Russian student conference is held to develop the skills of scientific activities, public presentation, and approbation of the results. In the process of training and holding the conference the resources and employees of the institutes of the Siberian Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences are involved.
