Peran Pemikiran Pendidikan KH. Ahmad Dahlan dalam Pendidikan Muhammadiyah Masa Kini

KH. Ahmad Dahlan, as the founder of Muhammadiyah, laid the foundations of Islamic education thinking that is oriented towards progress and renewal, making education an important means of producing a generation that is moral, knowledgeable, and able to face the challenges of the times. His thinking, which emphasizes the integration of religious and general sciences and the relevance of education to social reality, has become the main foundation of Muhammadiyah education until now. This article aims to examine the role and relevance of KH. Ahmad Dahlan's educational thought in the practice of Muhammadiyah education today, especially in facing the era of globalization and rapid technological development. The research method used is descriptive qualitative through library research. The results of the study show that the renewal values promoted by KH Ahmad Dahlan are still the main principles in the curriculum, learning methods, and vision of Muhammadiyah education. The implementation of this thought can be seen in the efforts of Muhammadiyah schools to produce graduates who are not only academically competent, but also have a strong Islamic personality, social spirit, and are ready to contribute to society. Thus, the thought of KH. Ahmad Dahlan not only provides direction for Muhammadiyah education, but also becomes the foundation in the development of Islamic education in Indonesia.

KH. Ahmad Dahlan and KH. Imam Zarkasyi about Islamic Education

At the beginning of the 20 th century, muslim people thought that they would be considered infidels if their children were sent to dutch east indies gofernment schools which used the western system, namely wearing trousers, suits, ties and so on. This assumption has a major influence on the muslim economy, resulting in muslim communities not having access to government sectors and private companies. To improve the educational conditions of muslims in indonesia, especially muslims, one of the reform figures, namely KH Ahmad Dahlan, founder of the muhammadiyah organisation in 1912, who came from kauman yogyakarta, was also famous as asocial and religious activist, offering a new education system by collaborating religious knouledge and general acience. According to him, only through education like this, the condition of muslims in indonesia can develop better in terms of economics and economic education. Then KH. Imam zarkasyi also reformed islamic education which was divided into four groups. These include, in the fields of educational methods and systems, islamic boarding school structure and management, islamic boarding school curriculum as well as islamic boarding school mindset and freedom.

UNRAVELING CHALLENGES AND SOLUTIONS IN ACADEMIC PAPER: A CASE STUDY OF 3rd YEAR ENGLISH DEPARTMENT STUDENTS AT UNIVERSITAS AHMAD DAHLAN

Despite living in an era of increasingly advanced digital technology, students still face significant challenges in academic writing, particularly in developing knowledge and writing skills of academic papers at a college level. This study aimed to highlight challenges faced by students in academic writing activities and how they solved the problems. The subjects of this research were five 3rd year students of the English Department of Universitas Ahmad Dahlan. The data of this study were collected by using observation, interviews, and focus group discussion (FGD) techniques. NVivo software was employed as the data analysis tool to make it easier for the researchers to determine the theme of the interview results. The findings show that the most challenging aspects of academic writing are the lack of vocabulary and the lack of skills in writing academic papers. The third year students of the English Department of Ahmad Dahlan University faced challenges in academic writing due to their lack of vocabulary and skills, however they use digital technology and artificial intelligence (AI) to overcome this problem.

Strengthening Islamic Religious Education Values in Developing Independent Character

This study explores the strengthening of Islamic Religious Education values at the Nyai Ahmad Dahlan Ponorogo Child Welfare Institution (LKSA NAD) in developing foster children's independence. This study uses a qualitative approach with a case study. Data were collected through interviews, observations, and documents. Validity was tested by triangulation, and data analysis was carried out using the Miles interactive model, including collection, condensation, presentation, and conclusion. Strengthening the values of Islamic Education (PAI) at LKSA NAD plays a vital role in developing the character of independence of foster children. Strengthening the values of PAI at LKSA NAD is carried out through material, habituation, and lectures. Strengthening the material includes memorisation of the qur'an, interpretation, the qur'an and hadith, aqidah akhlaq, fiqh, and imla, qira'ah (recitation), arabic language learning, muhadarah (speech), al-Islam and Muhammadiyah, tartil reading the qur'an. Habituation is carried out through activities at the Ramadhan short-term boarding school, obligatory and sunnah worship, while lectures are given in religious study (kajian). This program has successfully increased foster children's independence, especially in making independent decisions, understanding moral values, and preparing themselves professionally with Islamic ethics. Foster children realise the benefits of this program in facing independent life in the future, although it was initially challenging. Materials such as memorising the qur'an, aqidah akhlaq, fiqh, and muhadarah are essential in strengthening PAI values. This study shows that strengthening Islamic Education values significantly contributes to increasing foster children's independence through Islamic ethics and responsible decision-making skills.

The VECM implementation for measuring the impact of monetary variables on Indonesia Property Prices Index

The basic human need for housing makes property investment safer than other sectors because demand tends to be stable despite changing economic conditions. The decision to invest is influenced by various aspects, including economic variables, including GDP, property credit growth, non-performing loans (NPLs), interest rates, exchange rates, and money supply, which are then examined for their influence on the Residential Property Price Index (RPPI) in Indonesia through this research using a Vector Error Correction Model (VECM) with quarterly data from 2003 to 2022. The findings show that GDP, interest rates, and money supply have a significant long-term impact on the RPPI. In the short-term, GDP and property credit growth have a negative impact on RPPI, while NPL and exchange rate do not. Causality tests indicate a bidirectional relationship between NPL and GDP with RPPI, with probability values exceeding 0.05. This study provides valuable insights into the monetary factors affecting residential property prices and suggestions for future research. The Existence of Muhammadiyah in Education to Fulfill The Promise of Independence in East Nusa Tenggara

This article describes and explains Muhammadiyah's contribution to East Nusa Tenggara. The figure of KH. Ahmad Dahlan, with the Muhammadiyah organization, has answered every need of society, from Islamic renewal to working in the social, preaching, and education sectors. Muhammadiyah has eradicated backwardness, poverty, and ignorance and carried out total resistance against formalism and religious conservatism by breaking down "TBC" (Tahayul, Bid'ah, and Churafat). Because Muhammadiyah truly believes that Islam is a religion that contains progressive values. East Nusa Tenggara is known as an archipelago province because it consists of many islands. The number is more than 500 large and small islands, both named and unnamed. The large islands include Flores Island, Lembata, Sumba, and Alor. The islands that are relatively small and have names include Semau Island, Rinca, Komodo, Permaan, Kojadoi, and many more. The people of East Nusa Tenggara (well known as NTT) are mostly Catholic Christians, more than 55%, Protestant Christians, around 35%, and Muslims, only around 10%. Muhammadiyah locally has an organizational agenda as a response to the conditions of the people in remote areas of the country. While nationally, there is a special agenda related to the needs of the organization. This article uses qualitative methods to analyze the data related to the topics. As a finding, since the beginning of its existence, Muhammadiyah has indeed been intended as a da'wah institution that focuses on strengthening the capacity of the people. Muhammadiyah, in carrying out its mission to educate the nation's generations both before and after independence, can provide an image to the NTT community that Muhammadiyah has actually contributed to fulfilling the promises of independence. This can also be felt by the NTT community, especially in the fields of education, health, and social. This is proven by Muhammadiyah establishing schools, orphanages, and health clinics. Muhammadiyah has contributed a lot to upholding this country on its path. The strength and spirit that have been rooted since 1912 have been able to survive and continue to exist in this beloved country.

Ahmad Dahlan Thoughts Through Al-Ma'un and Higher Order Thinking Skill (HOTS) in Education: Is It Relevance?

This research seeks to determine the significance of Higher-Order Thinking Skills (HOTS) learning in the Al-Ma'un philosophy, as KH Ahmad Dahlan taught. The method employed is a literature review, with data collected from literature relevant to the theme of KH Ahmad Dahlan and Higher-Order Thinking Skills (HOTS) learning. The data is then analyzed thematically and processed using an inductive method. According to the findings, KH Ahmad Dahlan taught Al-Ma'un to his students, which is similar to Higher-Order Thinking Skills or HOTS nowadays.

Hamka and the Rise of Kaum Muda (the Modernist) in Indonesia

The paper aims to study the historical background of the Islamic reform movement in West Sumatra with particular reference to the idea of Haji Abdul Malik Karim Amrullah or his pseudonym Hamka (1908-1981). His religious ideal was instrumental in driving the new consciousness and unprecedented religious struggle that erupted in the late 20th century in the Malay Archipelago, which reflected the force of modern ideas of Shaykh Muhammad Abduh (1849-1905) that had brought decisive and greatest influence in the region. The reform movement he inaugurated was carried out by Kaum Muda (the young faction) in the Malay Archipelago, who disseminated his dynamics ideas and aspirations through journals and newspapers such as Al-Imam, Al-Munir, and Saudara. One of the leading figures and pioneers in the struggle of Kaum Muda was Haji Rasul dan Kiyai Ahmad Dahlan, whose legacy was continued by Hamka, who was hailed as the foremost advocate of Abduh’s reformist ideas through his influential writing and activity. To highlight this significant work and idealism, this research presents and analyzes Hamka’s struggle to lead this unprecedented religious movement for reform (islah) and renewal (tajdid) in the Malay world. This research aims to develop his legacy and monumental contribution to the history and tradition of reform in the Malay world.

This edition contains ten articles: Pharmacology-Toxicology, Pharmacognosy-Phytochemistry, Analytical Pharmacy-Medicinal Chemistry, Microbiology Pharmacy, Natural Product Development, Clinical-Community Pharmacy, and Pharmaceutical Education. This edition includes writings from four countries: India, Indonesia, Italy, and Malaysia. The authors come from several institutions, including Universitas Muhammadiyah Malang, Universitas Ahmad Dahlan, Universitas Muhammadiyah Banjarmasin, Universitas Jember, Università degli Studi del Piemonte Orientale “Amedeo Avogadro”, University of Kalyani, Azienda Ospedaliero Universitaria Maggiore della Carita, Universitas Airlangga, Institut Ilmu Kesehatan Bhakti Wiyata Kediri, Universitas Islam Bandung, Universitas Mulawarman, Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta, Universitas Gadjah Mada, Universitas Kristen Duta Wacana, Universitas Global Jakarta, and Management and Science University. This research aims to explore the application of holistic learning in Arabic language learning at Muhammadiyah Ahmad Dahlan Middle School, Metro Lampung. The main focus of this research is to understand how a holistic approach can improve students' Arabic language understanding and skills, as well as identifying factors that support and hinder its implementation. This research uses a qualitative methodology with a case study approach. Data was collected through classroom observations, in-depth interviews with teachers and students, as well as analysis of documents related to the curriculum and teaching materials. This approach allows researchers to get an in-depth picture of learning processes and experiences in the field. The research results show that the application of holistic learning in Arabic language learning at this school has had a positive impact on increasing students' understanding and language skills. Students show greater interest and more active participation in the learning process. However, research also found several obstacles, such as limited resources and lack of training for teachers.

Neo Al-Ma'un Theology and Social Improvement of Society

It is necessary to study the theological theme of Al-Ma'un because of its developmentMustadh'afin are not only those who are orphans but those who are oppressed socially, structurally and culturally. The article aims to provide further explanation regarding Al-Maun theology and social improvement. This research uses qualitative methods with a library approach. After all data sources have been collected, the author conducts a literature review and reviews existing literacy sources. Results of this research: 1) In Al-Qusyairi's work, Al-Ma'uun's letter is named Ad-Diin. This may be taken as the last word at the end of the first verse of the surah, as is done with the name of surah An-Naas in the last surah in the Urdu mushaf. 2) KH. Ahmad Dahlan taught Surah al-Ma'un from the Qur'an to his students several times over a relatively long period of time. The point of this letter is that ritual worship has no meaning unless the perpetrator performs social charity. This surah even calls those who ignore orphans and do not try to eradicate poverty in society as "religious liars. In surah al-Ma'un, it is stated that as Muslims who have the ability to help orphans and the poor, we must help each other and share a little of what we have to help them overcome their difficulties.

Historicity of Aisyiyah’s Da’wa: A Study of Aisyiyah Da’wa Movement from Sopo Tresno (1914) Until Aisyiyah (2010) from an Aqidah Perspective

The Islamic community experienced a crisis at the beginning of the 20th century. The condition of women at that time was very concerning. Women were regarded as Konco Wingking (a term referring to those responsible for household chores), a position that had evolved into an ingrained cultural ideology contributing to women's ignorance and backwardness. This issue was of great importance to Nyai Ahmad Dahlan and her husband, prompting them to initiate the establishment of an internaat (boarding school) to support Indonesian girls. This study examines the history of the Sopo Tresno and Aisyiyah da'wah movements. It is a literature-based research drawing primary sources from books, conference proceedings, and scholarly works. The approach used is descriptive-analytical, with data validity tested using measures of transferability and reliability. The analysis method employed is inductive. The results will establish the foundation of Aisyiyah's da'wah from Sopo Tresno (1914) to Aisyiyah in 2010 from the perspective of aqidah.

Penyebaran Mahasiswa ITB Ahmad Dahlan Jakarta Menggunakan Algoritma Clustering

The development of information technology has made it possible to collect and analyze large and complex data. In the context of higher education, information about student distribution patterns can be of added value for institutions to plan and manage their resources effectively. This research aims to design a web mining system that uses a clustering algorithm to grouping the distribution of students at ITB Ahmad Dahlan. In this study, we collected data from open web sources that are relevant to students, such as student profiles, academic preferences, and extracurricular activities. The data is then analyzed using a clustering algorithm to identify patterns and trends in student distribution. By using this approach, we hope to provide useful insights for educational institutions in planning infrastructure, academic programs, and student services.

Qualitative Analysis of Pregnant Women with Preeclampsia at Muhammadiyah Ahmad Dahlan Hospital, Kediri

Background: Together with bleeding and infection included in the deadly triad, gestational hyper­tension affects 5-10% of pregnancies worldwide. Pre-eclampsia itself causes more than 70,000 maternal deaths and 500,000 fetal deaths. This study aimed to find significant predisposing factors that cause preeclampsia. Subjects and Method: Qualitative study with a phenomenological approach conducted at Muhammadiyah Ahmad Dahlan Hospital. The informants in this study were 15 pregnant women with preeclampsia. The focus of this research is to explore the predisposing factors for preeclampsia in pregnant women There are 4 research focuses related to pregnant women with preeclampsia, namely: (1) demographic data of pregnant women; (2) obstetric history; (3) nutrition; and (4) family health history. Data collection was carried out using interview techniques. The data collection were collected by interview techniques. Results: Pregnant women with preeclampsia were mostly housewives or low socio-economic, old and too young, obese, had families with a history of hypertension, were pregnant with different husbands. All of this can be detected using the preeclampsia screening sheet. Conclusion: Preeclampsia screening is performed periodically, to identify and diagnose the condition early, to allow for more careful monitoring and effective disease management.

The Effectiveness of Student Team Achievement Division (STAD) and Directed Reading Thinking Activity (DRTA) Strategies in Teaching Reading Comprehension to Students with Different Levels of Motivation at MAS Ahmad Dahlan Tegal

This study aims to investigate the effectiveness of the Student Team Achievement Division (STAD) and Directed Reading Thinking Activity (DRTA) strategies in teaching reading comprehension to students with different levels of motivation at MAS Ahmad Dahlan Tegal. This study used a 2x2 factorial design. This study conducted at MAS Ahmad Dahlan Tegal. The participants of the study included Group X B comprising 25 students, and Group X D comprising 26 students. The students will be classified into high and low motivation and will be taught with different teaching strategies. The instruments of the study are tests, questionnaire, and observation. This result showed that STAD and DRTA strategies are effective to teach reading comprehension. The mean post-test score in the experimental group I was 75.40, while the mean post-test score in the experimental group II was 74.43. In addition, the mean post-test score in the experimental group I was recorded as 73.60, while the mean post-test score in the experimental group was 67.33 II. It can be concluded that STAD and DRTA strategies effective in improving students’ reading comprehension to both of high and low levels of motivation. Relationship between Frequency of Urinary Catheter Care and Incidence of Urinary Tract Infection (UTI) in KH Ahmad Dahlan Room, RSU Muhammadiyah Ponorogo

Urinary tract infection (UTI) is a frequent occurrence in hospitals and it was reported that 37% of inpatients at RSU Muhammadiyah Ponorogo were fitted with urinary catheters and 38% of them experienced UTI. Frequency of urinary catheter care could potentially affect the incidence of UTI. This study aims to determine the relationship between the frequency of urinary catheter care and the incidence of urinary tract infection (UTI) in the KH Ahmad Dahlan Room of RSU Muhammadiyah Ponorogo. This research method is quantitative with a correlational design using a Cross Sectional approach. The study population was all inpatients in the KH Ahmad Dahlan Room at RSU Muhammadiyah Ponorogo in September - October 2023 totaling 484 patients with an average of 242 people / month. The sampling technique used purposive sampling with the research sample being a portion of inpatients with catheters installed, totaling 30 respondents. Data collection using Check List. Data analysis techniques using Chi-Square. The results of this study showed that of the 30 respondents, most of the 28 respondents (93.33%) with the frequency of urinary catheter care were irregular (not every day) and most of the 29 respondents (96.67%) experienced the incidence of urinary tract infections (UTI). The results of the Chi-Square statistical test obtained a p-value obtained of 0.095> 0.05 so as not to reject H0 which means there is no significant relationship between the frequency of urinary catheter care and the incidence of urinary tract infection (UTI).

Manajemen Pengelolaan Dana Desa Tahun 2024 Untuk Pembangunan Infrastruktur di Desa Rantau Kermas Kecamatan Jangkat Kabupaten Merangin Provinsi Jambi

Village fund management is a key element in accelerating development in rural areas. This article evaluates the management of village funds in 2024 in Rantau Kermas Village, Jangkat District, Merangin Regency, Jambi Province, with a focus on projects to improve farming roads and normalize river water for rice fields. The methodology used involves active community participation in project planning, implementation, monitoring and reporting, with technical assistance from students of the Ahmad Dahlan Institute of Technology and Business (ITB AD) Jakarta. The research results show that improving the 4 kilometer long agricultural road succeeded in increasing accessibility and reducing agricultural operational costs, while normalizing the 3 kilometer river succeeded in improving irrigation and reducing the risk of flooding, thereby increasing agricultural productivity. The principles of transparency and accountability are implemented through the formation of a Village Fund Management Team (TPDD) and regular reporting involving all elements of society. The discussion identified challenges such as limited capacity of village officials and resistance to change, which were successfully overcome through training and a participatory approach. The implications of this research show that effective village fund management can be a model for other villages in achieving sustainable and inclusive development.

Optimizing High School English Language Learning: The Impact of Modern Learning Apps and Technology Platforms

The aim of this research is to gain a thorough understanding of how the most recent information technology has affected English language learning in the present, as well as to determine what kinds of platforms and applications are thought to be most useful for helping students improve their command of the language. Additionally, a detailed analysis of the English language learning platform's implementation in Muhammadiyah schools in the Metro will be included in this research. A survey design is used in this study as a quantitative research methodology. The participants in this survey research will be drawn from MTs Muhammadiyah Metro, SMP Muhammadiyah Metro, and SMP Muhammadiyah Ahmad Dahlan, three Muhammadiyah secondary schools located in Metro City. Once the pre-survey is completed, samples will be chosen and the methodology will be decided upon by researchers at the schools and madrasas that have been identified as the research population. The result of the study shows that Female research participants make up the majority (90.09%) of the sample, while male subjects make up just 9.01%), according to the findings of the demographic analysis of the study data. The demographic information provided above indicates that there may be gender biases or trends in the research that could affect the analysis's findings or the dynamics of student participation in the use of technology in the classroom. Moreover, the research focus was at a certain grade level or educational unit stage in high school, as the bulk of research subjects (90.08%) were 17 years old.
