Perencanaan Kawasan Agrowisata Di Taman Maccini Sombala Kota Makassar

Agrotourism is a form of tourism activities that utilize agro business as a tourist attraction with the aim to expand knowledge, travel, recreation, and business relationships in the field of agriculture. Development of agro-tourism management especially in urban areas requires close cooperation between various sectors, namely transportation sector, tourism sector, agriculture sector, trade sector, regional development sector and so on. The presence of Taman Maccini Sombala in Makassar City becomes a place to fulfill the needs of green open space (public open space). In line with the development of this potential has not been fully utilized both for the fulfillment of food needs of society and the main function as a public space and tourist space. This role then developed into an agro-tourism area of the city. Assessment in measuring MoI Park development program as one of agro-tourism in Makassar by looking at the existing condition, analyzing the suitability and feasibility of agrowisatanya and how the carrying capacity both physically and with the consideration of the manager and also the development concept that can be applied in Taman Maccini Sombala of Indonesia as object of agro tourism city.

Industrial Skills and Development of Agro Based Industries in Rivers State, Nigeria

The study investigated industrial skills and development of agro based industries in Rivers State, Nigeria. The study operationalized the independent variable of industrial skills into dimensions of communication, conceptualization and marketing skills for the development of agro-based industries in Rivers State. The research design for the study was correlational. The population of the study was 250 staff of 10 agro based companies in Rivers State, Nigeria. The study sample was 100. The study adopted stratified random sampling technique in which 10 staff were chosen from each of the 10 agro based companies. The instrument for data collection was questionnaire, adapted in the modified likert scale of very high extent (4), high extent (3), low extent (2) and very low extent (1). The questionnaire was validated by a senior lecturer in Measurement and evaluation from Rivers State University, Nigeria. The reliability of the instrument was tested using Crombach Alpha and obtained .933>/71 which showed that the instrument was reliable. The study found that the three variables used in the study showed significant relationship with the development of agro based industries in Rivers State. The study concluded that communication, conceptualization and marketing skills significantly relate to development of agro based industries in Rivers State. The study recommended that among others, that teachers of Vocational and Technical Education Training (TVET) should emphasize to students the need to invest or conceptualize agro business plans in agro based businesses.

An assessment of differential supplier category performance in the agro processing industry: A case for supplier development in the Zimbabwean tobacco industry

This study sought to determine whether farm categories influence the key agro business supply chain metric of crop yield. The investigated farm categories are the communal farms, A1 farms, A2 farms, and commercial farms that reflect the agricultural structure that emerged from the post-fast-track land reform programme in Zimbabwe. Secondary data for crop yield was collected from the Tobacco Industry and Marketing Board publications of a five-year period spanning from 2014-2018. Tobacco Industry and Marketing Board is the regulatory authority of the Zimbabwean tobacco industry. The study used One-way ANOVA to test the specified hypotheses. A post hoc test was conducted using the Bonferroni procedure. The results indicated that crop yield is a function of the farm category. Communal farms had low crop yield, while A1 farm models proved to be very productive as evidenced by higher crop yield than any other farm category. A2 farms and commercial farms had unexpectedly low crop yield. The study recommended consolidation and transformation of communal areas into small-to-medium plots for the purposes of improving their agricultural viability, while at the same time downsizing the redundant A2 and commercial farms into small scale plots for the purposes of improving their efficiency. The study also recommended entering into resource-providing contract farming with A2 farmers whose current low yield might be due to lack of adequate input resources.

Pengembangan Relationship Capital Pelaku UKM Agro di Kabupaten Donggala

One challenge in developing SMEs is still weak access to financial institutions and markets, making it difficult for SMEs to develop. The difficulty of access to financial resources will have an impact on limited business expansion which will result in a weak capacity to expand business volume. On the other hand, weak market access also has an impact on the small market controlled by SMEs which has an impact on small product demand growth. The weakness factor that sticks to SMEs is mainly access to business development. This service program aims to strengthen understanding of the importance of relationship capital for the development of agro-businesses in Tamarenja Village, Donggala Regency. In this community service activity, lecture, question and answer, and discussion methods are used. This training activity is focused on Agro business management training through strengthening business networks. There are three stages in the implementation method, namely the preparation stage, the implementation stage and the evaluation stage. The result of this activity is that agro-business actors in Tamarenja Village can be developed on a wider scale considering the current large market such as opening access for IKN (National Capital City), the growth of the Morowali industrial area, strengthening the Togean tourism industry and growing demand in the local market.

An Assessment of the Factors that Lead to SME Success in the Agro Business Sector: A Case of Ndola District

SME success provides numerous advantages to both the SME owner, the individuals employed by the SME and the country at large as it gives government the needed revenue through assorted taxes that are paid by the SMEs. These paid taxes are in turn used to develop the country through things such as building roads, buying hospital medication, and providing assorted services to the country. However, despite the many benefits that come with SMEs, there are very few SMEs that survive beyond five years and those that do, often struggle to break even. Despite the efforts made by government and various stake holders to help SMEs survivor, only a few of them manage to have success. Therefore, this study sort to analyse the factors that lead to SME success with the focus of SMEs in the agro business sector in Ndola district. The objective of this study was to examine the SMEs in the agro business sector, to establish the factors that lead to SME business success and finally to evaluate factors that lead to SME success. Using the quantitative approach, data was collected using the structured closed-ended questionnaires which were distributed to 219 people of which 204 responded. This gave a 93% response rate. Probability sampling was used to get the sample to avoid all forms of bias. A pilot questionnaire was first sent out to get views on the validity of the questionnaires and to see if all the questions were making sense and helping answer the objective questions.

ORGANIZATIONAL AND ECONOMIC PRINCIPLES OF THE FUNCTIONING OF THE MILK MARKET UNDER THE CONDITIONS OF UKRAINE’S MEMBERSHIP IN THE EU

The article is devoted to the assessment of the organizational and economic basis of the functioning of the milk market in the conditions of Ukraine’s membership in the EU. The main reasons for the reduction of the number of cows both in agricultural enterprises and households have been established. It has been proven that in the current conditions, the subjects of entrepreneurial activity – producers of dairy products do not have the opportunity to carry out even a simple reproduction of the cow population at the expense of their own sources. Today, the system of tribal service, which existed earlier in Ukraine and made it possible to conduct tribal affairs at the proper level, does not work. Therefore, further increase in productivity and improvement of animal reproduction indicators are extremely problematic due to the lack of a modern breeding system in animal husbandry. It has been established that most dairy farms have passed the stage of modernization of the material and technical base, which ensures the production of high-quality milk. In our opinion, subjects of entrepreneurial activity in the field of agro business – milk producers can compete with agricultural producers from EU countries in the presence of effective state support for dairy farming and the observance of partnership relations with processing enterprises and trade. The introduction of innovative technologies in dairy farming, especially agricultural enterprises, ensures a high level of milk productivity of cows, which corresponds to the corresponding values ​​of the average annual milk yield of most countries of the European Union. The analysis of benefits and risks for dairy farming from Ukraine’s participation in the EU makes it possible to determine the directions of the national policy in terms of reducing risks, neutralizing negative consequences and accelerating the realization of benefits from the liberalization of trade regimes: promotion of exports with the aim of expanding foreign sales markets for Ukrainian exporters of dairy products; stimulation of domestic demand for milk and milk products; increasing the competitiveness of domestic producers of milk and milk products on the basis of improving the quality and safety of products due to the implementation of international quality standards; ensuring the competitiveness of domestic producers on domestic and foreign markets in accordance with effective state support measures for mixed agricultural enterprises – milk producers with the aim of attracting private investments for their development; avoiding negative impacts on personal peasant farms on the basis of the development of service and sales cooperation, the formation of the appropriate infrastructure, financial support for the process of transformation of commercial personal peasant farms into small agribusiness subjects – milk producers; promotion of rural development, active use of the benefits of the “green box” by the World Trade Organization.

Politics of Demonetization: Its effect on the Village Economy in India

The Government of India` s call for demonetization on 8th November 2016 banning Rs500/-and Rs1000/- notes was originally accepted as a positive step to discourage the black marketers and the rackets in hoarding to rule over the society. Unfortunately the long term effect of such a hurried decision became a boom to the agri-business based on soft cash. The agribusiness chain became the worst effected group. The chain included non-formal agricultural sector small earners in the agricultural field the farmers as the fragmented land holder and the producers thriving on the instant sale of their products and also those depending on middleman for the disbursement of funds and purchase of products for storage and dispersal of the same to the consumers` market for constant supply. Demonetization discouraged the middleman to put cash in the producing and disbursement. Thereby demonetization dismantled the overall economic chain of production and distribution resulting havoc in agro business market. The small farmers became the main victims of the circumstances. The banning of money economy on the one hand created scarcity in the families based on ancillary agro-production and it also hampered the family income of the rural farmers. Considering the boom in the village economy as an outcome of demonetization the present article makes an effort to gather firsthand information on the position of rural farmers and other non-formal rural occupation group as an outcome of demonetization announced by the Prime Minister of India. The focused area of the study include the selected villages in the northern part of West Bengal. They are rich in agro-based products run by the self-contended but marginal women farmers group thriving on export of their products to the Nepal Market. Their family males are involved in other ancillary employment like pendal making for marriages and other social gatherings running grocery shops and hawkers selling garments and cloths. The women in their families are involved in the varieties of occupation like working as Anganwari preparing mid-day mill working in the road side motels run by the Government (Pother Sathi ) and also working as a liaison of the Government Agriculture Department of the District through their Farmers` Club. The region marked as the second best agro-production area in West Bengal but their business thrives on cash transaction. Keeping in mind the PM`s speech on November 8th 2016 as a pro-poor program the present study focuses on the effect of demonetization on the poor women farmers by reaching out to the farmers families.The survey was done on December 2017 to observe the post demonetization effect in the reality scenario. Interestingly a similar survey was carried out by the researcher in 2015- 2016 and the field survey report was presented in the form of a research paper entitled ` the Role of Women in Agriculture ` in University of Vienna Austria under the International Sociological Forum in July 2016.This has enabled the researcher to gather knowledge on the economy of women community in the rural areas of North Bengal and a part of the West Bengal State. The life and living of these enthusiastic women community gave an impetus to the researcher to visit them and to learn the effect of demonetization in their life.2 The present paper is the outcome of the survey made by the researcher for the second phase in December 2017 during the post demonetization period.

The Features of the Marketing System in Agricultural Organizations

The implementation of marketing systems is important in the daily activities of agricultural organizations. Agro marketing operates in the specific conditions of production, promotion and sale of agricultural products, which determines the features of the functioning mechanism of agricultural marketing. The aim of this article is to identify and analyze the key elements of agro marketing, the impact of which is significant on the activities of the organization, including: the direct dependence of agricultural products on natural and climatic conditions, the importance of products to consumers according to food safety conditions, seasonality, different levels of marketing activity, incomplete regulators in the field of marketing activities, etc. The analysis of the identified elements allows us to develop the right policy of marketing activities in agricultural organizations and increase the level of implementation of systems. Scholars and companies are making efforts in broadening the knowledge and image of corporate sustainability and corporate social responsibility. In light of this direction, this paper reports on how agro businesses are affecting the well-being of humans, the environment, and the corporate sector. This study adopted to review published electronic journal articles on corporate sustainability and corporate social responsibility shedding light on the challenges, threats, and solutions of agro-business. Furthermore, the study critically analyzes some of the latest value-based sustainability constructs. This review provides a conceptual understanding of sustainability and corporate responsibility. Responsible business practices foster the creation of economic and social value by realigning business objectives with stakeholder management and environmental responsibility. The study adds to the literature and is a critical insight to organizations regarding sustainability in agro business and corporate social responsibility.

Impact of COVID-19 on Agro business in Bangladesh

COVID-19 has become an alarming pandemic for our earth. It has created panic not only in China but also in developing countries like Bangladesh. The COVID-19 pandemic has significant implications, including financial, economic, and social effects. It has caused massive negative impacts, especially in the agricultural sector. In rural areas, the poor farmers, dairy farmers, vegetable producers, poultry farmers are in deep crisis due to lower prices and lockdown issues. In this paper, we have summarized the Impact of COVID-19 on the Agro business in Bangladesh. The effects of the pandemic cannot be mitigated individually, but an integrated effort on the part of the state authority and the part of people from all sectors need to come forward.

In this work the special attention is paid to the recent critical conditions of national agriculture in Georgia in the conditions of the pandemic. The purpose of this survey is to research the troubles connected with the business production and to find the ways to solve them during the Covid-19. It also emphasizes the fact that it’s necessary for the country’s national agricultural regeneration and development to pay the proper attention to the businessmen involved in industry and to pass the politics to support the agricultural development and to get rid of the Pandemic. In this work some recommendations and statements are worked up and the instructions are given. If we foresee all of them, it would give us a chance to overcome this crisis and to improve the national agricultural conditions of Georgia. Penerapan Analisis SWOT terhadap Pencapaian Target Pembiayaan Mikro Syariah pada BPRS Mitra Agro Usaha di Bandar Lampung

Talking about the perception of our society about the Bank, we can be sure that the perception that arises is that the Bank is an institution for saving money. The condition in the field states that not all levels of society have made maximum use of bank products. The condition of banking is one of the sectors which is expected to be able to play an active role in supporting national development activities. This role is manifested in its main function as an intermediary institution or intermediary institution between debtors and creditors. Thus, economic actors who need funds to support their activities can be fulfilled and then the wheels of the economy move. The formulation of the problem in this study is "How is the application of SWOT analysis to the achievement of financing targets in BPRS Agro Business Partners?". This research is a descriptive exploratory study with an expose facto approach, because it aims to describe the state of the phenomena that occur in the field. The technique used in data collection in this research is using literature study, field study, and questionnaires. This study uses a SWOT analysis. The first step is to formulate a strategy, namely SO, WO, ST, and WT. The results of the study indicate that the BPRS Mitra Agro Usaha Bandar Lampung has strengths, namely operating with the sharia system, strategic location, short and fast bureaucracy, and has a legal entity. The weakness is that it is difficult to find human resources in the marketing sector and as a new bank that is not widely known by the public. Meanwhile, the opportunities are good business prospects, approaches with government agencies, and small business activities are very potential within the BPRS MAU. The threats are competition between banks and competition at the margin level.

COVID-19 and the fragility of Brazilian small farming resilience

Goal: The paper aims to investigate the insights of the resilience mechanisms of Brazilian small farms facing COVID-19.
 Design / Methodology / Approach: The research path involves three cases studies: two small but relevant producers of fruit and vegetable and a cooperative of family farmers in Rio de Janeiro through semi-structured interviews and concept maps. We also made data triangulation using literature review.
 Results: We observed that the main challenges for resilience in agro business are: 1) tight budgets and difficulty in accessing credit, 2) Many producers are in an informal fiscal situation, 3) Lack of human resources, 4) Low-technology methods, 5) Difficulty in adding value to "raw" products. Besides, we have also identified a dangerous reduction in federal investments in family farming incentive programs in recent years, which may have worsened the weaknesses of these businesses in the face of COVID-19
 Limitations of the investigation: Since this is a qualitative study for preliminary investigation of the topic through mental models, the sample of focal respondents was small (three cases).
 Practical implications: This study enables the analysis of the Brazilian small farms challenges to survive in times of growing uncertainty.
 Originality / Value: This research lays the foundations for future research to explore the underlying theory and practice involved, with the aim of creating resilient local supply chains.

The Influence of Competence, Independence, Interest, and Discipline on The Readiness of Working in Vocational School Students in Lombok Barat District

This study aims to determine the effect of competence, independence, interest and discipline individually or jointly on the work readiness of vocational school students in West Lombok District. The population of this study was the students of Agro Business Competencies in Agricultural Product Processing Vocational High School in West Lombok Regency, with a sample of 67 students. Data collection uses a Likert scale questionnaire and five alternative answers. Data of all variables were analyzed with descriptive statistics with an average value of students' work readiness of 82.5%. The effect of each independent variable on the dependent variable was analyzed by partial correlation statistics and multiple regression analysis. The interpretation of the results of data analysis uses a significant level of 5% or 0.05. The results showed a very significant influence between competence, independence, interest and discipline on the work readiness of vocational students in West Lombok district with a significance value of 0,000 and a coefficient of determination of 0.462 or 46.2% meaning together the contribution of all the independent variable to the dependent variable is the remaining 46.2% of 53.8% by variables and other factors outside this study that were not explained by the researcher.Vocational School, Competence, Independence, Interest, Discipline, Work Readiness.

ВИКОРИСТАННЯ СПРОЩЕНОЇ СИСТЕМИ ОПОДАТКУВАННЯ АГРОВИРОБНИКАМИ

It is examined the influence of the simplified taxation system on stimulation of home agro business development. The aim of the article is research of the existent taxation system of agro producers and optimization of the tax pressure on the payers of the united tax. Methodological basis of research became the modern theories of taxation and finances in the conditions of global calls, climatic risks and necessities of home and foreign consumers. In undertaken studies the used methods of dialectics, methods and principles of scientific cognition and instruments of analysis the systems for the exposure of influence the simplified system of taxation on activity of agro producers. The basic hypothesis of research became supposition that optimization of the tax loading on agro producers must take a place with a selection of volumes of possessing agricultural resources, prepared products and level of the got profits. Exposition of basic material. It is educed that development and total revenue of agro industrial enterprises depend from the level of taxation of their activity, but sum prepaid tax by the agrarian enterprises does not depend from the got profits and does not answer principles of regulative function of taxes. Originality and practical meaningfulness of research are confirmed by the ground analysis of agro producer’s activity, which work for the simplified system of taxation. An proposed differentiation the united tax payers of 4-th group has the applied value, and similar approach can be used for determination of rates the other groups of the simplified system of taxation. Conclusions and prospects of further researches. An offer groupie of agro producers, which work for the simplified system of taxation, will allow bringing down the tax pressure, stimulating further development of agrarian business in the direction of accordance the European standards of agro products quality. Further researches will be sent to the improvement of the simplified system of taxation of stimulation and development of complete cycle of agribusiness beginning from growing of products, processing and, ending, by an eventual consumption is not only food industry, but other industries of national economy, like light industry, green energy and tourism.

The THE CHANGE OF CUSTOMER VALUE AS THE IMPACT OF THE DEVELOPMENT OF MARKET ORIENTATION AND RESOURCES CAPABILITY IN SMALL AGRO BUSINESS: EMPIRICAL STUDY IN EAST JAVA

Small agro business is one type of creative business that can be used as a processed product and is currently being developed by the local municipal government. In general, the national agro commodity has increased but the small agro business are still limited and not widely known by the wider community so that the right strategy is needed in marketing thier product. This research is motivated by the decline in customer trust which can later influence customer value in small agro businesses.
 The purpose of this study was to analyze the effect of market orientation and resource capabilities both partially and simultaneously on customer value and to find out the variables that most influence on customer value in small agro businesses in East Java, represented by two cities, namely Blitar and Bojonegoro.
 This research is descriptive and verificative using explanatory survey, which explains the effect of the independent variable on the dependent variable. The type of data used is primary data and secondary data. The census method is used for the selection of respondent data. Data collection was carried out by means of observation, interviews, and the distribution of questionnaires to 115 respondents of small agro business operators in East Java, represented by Blitar and Bojonegoro.
 Technical analysis of the data is done by normality test, t test, F test, and determination test. The results of the study indicate that market orientation partially influence customer value and resource capability does not affect customer value in small agro businesses in East Java. While simultaneously market orientation and resource capabilities affect customer value in small agro businesses in East Java. Market orientation is the most influential variable on customer value because it has a significance value of 0,000 while resource capability does not affect customer value because it has a significant value of 0.092 exceeding the ideal criteria of 0.05. The better market orientation can create good customer value because it is focused on the customer, be careful in facing competition and establish good coordination between functions.

Estilos de vida de los clientes y calidad de servicio de la asociación de comerciantes agro artesanal San Borja

This research entitled: Lifestyle and quality customer service the business assocation artisanal agro San Borja (ACMSB), generally aimed at determining the relationship between the lifestyles of our customers and quality service employers in the ACMSB, the specific objectives were: To identify the lifestyles of our customers, know the customer perception about the quality of service for entrepreneurs ACMSB. The general method used was the scientific method, the instruments were two questionnaires Servqual and lifestyles. The sample consists of 171 clients, men and women over 18, whose consumption exceeded the S/.10.00 and the day of the survey were buying goods and services ACMSB facilities are included domestic workers and excluded clients over 80 years. The hypothesis was: There is a relationship between lifestyle and quality of service for customers ACMSB. For data analysis was done using descriptive statistics and hypothesis testing for inferential analysis. Pearson test sheds 0,746 which mean there is a ratio of 74% between service quality and lifestyles of customers in the traditional agro business association of San Borja. The lifestyle of the customers is the modern ACMSB, this result agrees with the findings of Arellano [1] who reported that the modern lifestyle is preponderant in our country. The finding found by De Soto [2] that the newcomers from the countryside to the city, found an impenetrable wall of rules, that marginalized social and economic activities legally established, in which it was extremely difficult to get into formal business was has been overcome, since these micro and small businesses are viable, legal, and are still very well regarded by customers. Major argument is the statistical report INEI [3], which reports that business grew by 10.96%, this is a positive trend in most of its component items, highlighting among others, retail food through supermarkets and hypermarkets and department stores. It concludes that companies in the retail sector especially the ACMSB are reinventing strategies around customer satisfaction and are aware of the encroachment of large chains of supermarkets and hypermarkets and department stores. This research will serve as a basis for future strategies to be adopted by employers in the ACMSB, in order to keep customers satisfied with high quality service.
