Increasingly advanced technological developments have an impact on increasing human needs for information. Information is very important in an organization because information is fundamental in carrying out every activity so that the activity can run as expected. Information can be obtained from various sources, one of which is written information, namely letters. Various kinds of documents and media have been created to make it easier for humans to store, search and disseminate information. These documents are better known as archives, which means a record of activities or sources of information that is stored systematically so that when needed it can be used as a reference in carrying out activities. Therefore, to overcome existing problems while supporting a system that is moving towards rapid technological development, a website-based archiving application is needed to support the archiving needs of the Kuningan Regency General Election Commission. It is hoped that this application can make it easier for the General Election Commission to manage its archiving system.

Utilization of Technology in Facilitating Customer Purchases and Payments at Charles & Keith

With its continued development, technology is now not only used as a communication medium, but can be used as a means of payment or online shopping. Currently, the public or customers are offered many digital shopping and payment methods. PT Kurnia Ciptamoda Gemilang under the Charles & Keith brand has utilized existing technological advances by implementing an online shopping model via website and chat shop as well as a payment method using e-money, without eliminating the cash payment method. Despite innovation, many Charles & Keith customers are still confused about the steps from shopping to payment. This is due to the lack of information obtained so the company introduces this innovation through salespeople. The purpose of this activity is to find out the use of technology to facilitate customer access to purchases and payments at Charles & Keith. The method used is ABCD (Asset Based Community Development) with several stages such as preparation stages, implementation stages and monitoring and evaluation stages. The results obtained from this activity show that the company has taken advantage of technological developments that provide a choice of shopping methods via websites and chat shops as well as payments using transfers, QRIS, credit cards, virtual accounts, and others. Customers also received this innovation positively, as monthly results show about the increase in the number of chat shop users.

Current Technologies and Future Perspectives in Immunotherapy towards a Clinical Oncology Approach.

Immunotherapy is now established as a potent therapeutic paradigm engendering antitumor immune response against a wide range of malignancies and other diseases by modulating the immune system either through the stimulation or suppression of immune components such as CD4+ T cells, CD8+ T cells, B cells, monocytes, macrophages, dendritic cells, and natural killer cells. By targeting several immune checkpoint inhibitors or blockers (e.g., PD-1, PD-L1, PD-L2, CTLA-4, LAG3, and TIM-3) expressed on the surface of immune cells, several monoclonal antibodies and polyclonal antibodies have been developed and already translated clinically. In addition, natural killer cell-based, dendritic cell-based, and CAR T cell therapies have been also shown to be promising and effective immunotherapeutic approaches. In particular, CAR T cell therapy has benefited from advancements in CRISPR-Cas9 genome editing technology, allowing the generation of several modified CAR T cells with enhanced antitumor immunity. However, the emerging SARS-CoV-2 infection could hijack a patient's immune system by releasing pro-inflammatory interleukins and cytokines such as IL-1β, IL-2, IL-6, and IL-10, and IFN-γ and TNF-α, respectively, which can further promote neutrophil extravasation and the vasodilation of blood vessels. Despite the significant development of advanced immunotherapeutic technologies, after a certain period of treatment, cancer relapses due to the development of resistance to immunotherapy. Resistance may be primary (where tumor cells do not respond to the treatment), or secondary or acquired immune resistance (where tumor cells develop resistance gradually to ICIs therapy). In this context, this review aims to address the existing immunotherapeutic technologies against cancer and the resistance mechanisms against immunotherapeutic drugs, and explain the impact of COVID-19 on cancer treatment. In addition, we will discuss what will be the future implementation of these strategies against cancer drug resistance. Finally, we will emphasize the practical steps to lay the groundwork for enlightened policy for intervention and resource allocation to care for cancer patients.

The paper begins with a background on the evolution from liquid electrolyte lithium-ion batteries to advanced SSBs, highlighting their enhanced safety and energy density. It addresses the increasing demand for efficient, safe energy storage in applications like electric vehicles and portable electronics. A major part of the paper analyzes solid electrolytes, key to SSB technology. It classifies solid electrolytes as polymer-based, oxide-based, and sulfide-based, discussing their distinct properties and application suitability. The review also covers advancements in anode materials for SSBs, exploring materials like lithium metal, silicon, and intermetallic compounds, focusing on their capacity, durability, and compatibility with solid electrolytes. Banks need to improve Trust, Service Quality and Brand image in order to be competitive. This bank continues to strive to provide services in order to satisfy its customers. Bank UOB is a company engaged in banking that has its head office in Jakarta and branch offices in several other cities in Indonesia. The more advanced technological developments, many people are looking for an item or tool that is flexible, efficient and can be used whenever needed without having to waste so much time. In this era, banking increasingly refers to efforts to achieve social, economic progress, by making new products, providing better service quality and instilling trust and a good brand image in customers.This study aims to prove and analyze the effect of trust, service quality, brand image on the satisfaction of Bank UOB Jakarta credit card users. The study population is all UOB Bank credit card users, sampling is carried out by probability sampling with the random sampling method, Data analysis using SPSS 23 the number of samples used was 70 respondents from 230 populations. The results proved that trust has a significant positive effect on UOB Bank credit card user satisfaction, service quality has a significant positive effect on UOB Bank credit card user satisfaction, brand image has a significant positive effect on UOB Bank credit card user satisfaction.

Highly sensitive SERS platform using sub-10-nm Ag nanoparticles on GaN distributed Bragg reflector for detecting organic pollutants

Surface-enhanced Raman scattering (SERS) is crucial for the development of advanced detection technology and achieving high-sensitivity optical signals. Sub-10 nm noble metal nanostructures with high specific surface area and good catalytic activity are suitable for in-situ SERS analysis, while their SERS performance is inferior compared to larger noble metal nanoparticles with sizes of tens of nm. In this study, the weak SERS signals from sub-10 nm Ag nanoparticles (NPs) are greatly enhanced by developing a highly reflective multi-component system, in which monodisperse sub-10 nm Ag NPs are deposited onto a GaN-based distributed Bragg reflector (DBR). This Ag-NP/GaN DBR system exhibits remarkable SERS enhancement, approximately two orders of magnitude. This enhancement effect is further confirmed by SERS mapping over an area of 50 × 50 µm2. Moreover, the Ag-NP/GaN DBR system enables the in-situ monitoring of catalytic reaction processes of R6G and 4-NBT molecules, indicating high analytical sensitivity. To demonstrate practical applications, this Ag-NP/GaN DBR system is exploited to detect the toxic malachite green molecules and polyethylene microplastics, which show strong fingerprint signals. This work provides an effective solution to boost the weak SERS signals of sub-10 nm Ag NPs and paves the way towards practical applications.

Investigation of the geometry of an electrochemical reactor in order to minimize the operational energy cost in the treatment of cosmetic effluents

Low biodegradability and high toxicity are common characteristics of cosmetic effluent. They have stimulated the application, development, and improvement of advanced technologies, such as electrocoagulation (EC). In this sense, this study aimed to optimize the treatment conditions of operational parameters considering the theoretical energetic operational cost of the treatment of cosmetic effluents through a new design of a cylindrical electrochemical reactor in continuous upward flow (CER-CUF). The effects of hydraulic retention time (HRT), electrical current density (j), and electrical conductivity on COD removal, turbidity, and residual Al concentration were investigated using a Central Composite Rotational Design (CCRD). The COD and turbidity removal efficiencies were 61.96 % and 44.71 %, respectively, with a total operating cost of 0.258 US$ m−3 to treat the effluent cosmetic under optimized conditions (HRT:5 min/j: 5 mA cm−2 and EC:2000.00 μS cm−1) in CER-CUF. These results contribute to advancing of knowledge about electrocoagulation technology and the possibility of full-scale application, in addition to encouraging the use of CER-CUF for treating effluents from the cosmetic industry.

Short-term drought Index forecasting for hot and semi-humid climate Regions: A novel empirical Fourier decomposition-based ensemble Deep-Random vector functional link strategy

The development of advanced technologies based on computer aid models in the domain of crops and agriculture productively is a modern advancement. Machine learning (ML) based forecasting of the short-term drought indicators (e.g., Standardized Precipitation Evapotranspiration Index (SPEI)) based on individual signals is a complex process that involves several factors including data quality and availability, inherent signal complexity, non-stationarity of climate, and uncertainty in ML models. Recent achievements in the field of Fourier-based signal processing integrated with advanced deep learning approaches have made it possible to produce very accurate intelligent frameworks for multi-temporal drought indicators and fill this gap. In this research, a new ultramodern complementary intelligent framework comprised of the SelectKbest feature selection (FS), Empirical Fourier Decomposition (EFD), and deep ensemble random vector functional link (Deep RVFL) was developed for multi-temporal monthly forecasting of short-term drought indicators for three and six months (SPEI3 and SPEI6) for two different very hot and semi-humid climate zones of Iran.. For this purpose, the most influential time lags associated with each drought indicator were indicated using the SelectKbest FS in each zone. Afterwards, the individual SPEI signals were decomposed by the EFD technique imposing the most important lagged components to feed the ML approaches. Here, a new hybrid architecture deep learning model, namely a convolutional neural network coupled with a bidirectional gated recurrent unit (CNN-Bi-GRU) designed for multi-temporal drought forecasting in the next one-and three- months. Two advanced approaches, introducing the convolutional neural network coupled with bidirectional recurrent neural network (CNN-Bi-RNN), and Random vector function link (RVFL) were adopted to validate the main model (EFD-DeepRVFL) in complementary and standalone counterpart forms. The robustness of all the models was examined using several metrics such as coefficient of determination (R2), root mean square error (RMSE), reliability, and squared Chi-square Distance (SquD). The comprehensive assessment of the outcomes of hybrid schemes revealed that EFD-DeepRVFL owing to superior performance (R2|SPEI3(t + 1) = 0.953, R2|SPEI3(t + 3) = 0.837, R2|SPEI6(t + 1) = 0.962, and R2|SPEI6(t + 3) = 0.887) at Ahvaz station and (R2|SPEI3(t + 1) = 0.964, R2|SPEI3(t + 3) = 0.863, R2|SPEI6(t + 1) = 0.935, and R2|SPEI6(t + 3) = 0.839) at Kermanshah station outperformed the EFD-RVFL and CNN-Bi-RNN, respectively. The developed expert system provides early warning of drought conditions, as a decision-making tool, crop yield prediction, and water resources risk assessment.

X‐ray imaging for structural evolution and phase transformation dynamics of battery electrodes

AbstractThe impending energy crisis entails sustainable battery technologies with improved energy density, reliability, safety and lifetime. Hence, it is essential to gain detailed insights into the surface reactions, ionic diffusion, structural and morphological evolution, and degradation mechanisms of battery electrodes. Recently, X‐ray techniques emerged as revolutionary tools to reveal an in‐depth understanding of the battery during operations. This review provides an overview of the use of in situ/operando X‐ray techniques to understand the different functionalities of electrode materials inside the battery. It will focus on the phase transformation, structural evolution and dynamic properties of the battery electrodes, and discuss the relationship between battery failure and electro‐chemo‐mechanical failure in the electrode. Finally, the limitations of these methods are also discussed with the prospects for effective use of these techniques in the development of advanced battery technologies.

Pengukuran Penerimaan Aplikasi Pengajuan Sertifikat NIK Menggunakan UTAUT dan Social Influence Theory

The East Java Province Department of Cooperatives and SMEs is taking advantage of advances in technological developments by providing online services. One of the services is, submitting a Cooperative Identification Number Certificate. The problems and difficulties that arise can affect the cooperative's acceptance of the use of the application for a Cooperative Identification Number certificate. For this reason, research was carried out entitled Measuring the Acceptance of Applications for Submitting NIK Certificates Using UTAUT and Social Influence Theory. The choice of UTAUT and Social Influence Theory as conceptual models was based on previous research conducted by Lim et al. (2023). The testing in this research used the SEM-PLS technique and was tested on SmartPLS 4 software. The research results showed that the performance expectancy and subjective norms variables had a significant positive effect on behavioral intention and the electric word of mouth variable had a positive effect on subjective norms and perceived risk. Through this research, insight into user acceptance of the NIK Certificate Submission Application can be understood as an evaluation for improving and improving services in the future.

Advancements and research priorities in the field of Earth Science in the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia)

This article presents the significant findings of research in the field of Earth Science in the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia). The main focus of future research includes the investigation of the geological structure and evolution of the Earth’s crust in Yakutia, exploration of ore-forming systems for strategic mineral types, identification of oil source rocks, and the discovery of natural naphthide accumulations. These findings serve as a fundamental basis for enhancing the level of geological exploration of the subsurface, development of advanced technologies for geological exploration and prospecting in specific geological settings. It is essential to monitor the natural environment and climate of the region, establish a comprehensive system for observing, analyzing, and forecasting the response of ecosystem components to both natural and anthropogenic changes, and develop technologies for the restoration of disturbed areas. The recognition of the importance of ensuring a sufficient number of highly qualified staff members is also acknowledged.

The increasingly advanced development of information technology provides new things in the economic sector in keeping up with increasingly modern development. One of them is the emergence of ShopeePay. ShopeePay is a digital wallet service issued by Shopee and currently very popular with the public because it provides convenience and benefits in terms of trasactions. This study aims to determine the effect of using ShopeePay electronic e-wallet on the consumptive behaviour of student in the city of Malang by tooking at the perceived of ease, perceived of use, and promotion as indicators in this study. The method used is SmartPLS (Partial Least Square). The result showed that perceived of ease, perceived of use, and promotion had a positive and significant effect on the comsumptive behaviour of students in the cinty of Malang.

Organic transistor‐based integrated circuits for future smart life

AbstractWith the rapid development of advanced technologies in the Internet of Things era, higher requirements are needed for next‐generation electronic devices. Fortunately, organic thin film transistors (OTFTs) provide an effective solution for electronic skin and flexible wearable devices due to their intrinsic features of mechanical flexibility, lightweight, simple fabrication process, and good biocompatibility. So far considerable efforts have been devoted to this research field. This article reviews recent advances in various promising and state‐of‐the‐art OTFTs as well as related integrated circuits with the main focuses on: (I) material categories of high‐mobility organic semiconductors for both individual transistors and integrated circuits; (II) effective device architectures and processing techniques for large‐area fabrication; (III) important performance metrics of organic integrated circuits and realization of digital and analog devices for future smart life; (IV) applicable analytical models and design flow to accelerate the circuit design. In addition, the emerging challenges of OTFT‐based integrated circuits, such as transistor uniformity and stability are also discussed, and the possible methods to solve these problems at both transistor and circuit levels are summarized.

Scenario forecasting of the dynamics of Russian production technologies using spatial SAR models

Relevance. The development and implementation of advanced production technologies are the most important factors of economic growth and competitiveness in the modern economy. Predicting their dynamics, taking into account the spatial features of localization, is a difficult and time-consuming task. The spatial effects resulting from the impact of the surrounding territories play a significant role in the dynamics of advanced production technologies in the regions of Russia. Accounting for these effects is necessary when constructing scenario models in conditions of strong spatial heterogeneity of the studied processes. Traditional forecasting methods do not take into account spatial interdependencies and are not able to reflect the influence of surrounding regions on the development of technologies. Research objective. Assessment and scenario forecasting of the dynamics of advanced production technologies being developed in the regions of Russia using SAR models that allow taking into account spatial effects between regions. Data and methods. For scenario forecasting of the dynamics of advanced production technologies being developed in the Russian regions, taking into account spatial effects, a methodological approach was developed based on the modeling of the spatial log (SAR) of the processes of their development, autoregressive (ARMA) modeling and forecasting of the key factors of their dynamics. Taking into account spatial effects and heterogeneity, the proposed approach to modeling makes it possible to more accurately predict the dynamics of advanced production technologies in the Russian regions. Results. The developed methodological approach was tested to form predictive scenarios for the dynamics of advanced production technologies being developed in the regions of Russia. In particular, an inertial forecast scenario was developed, assuming the preservation of current trends in the dynamics of the technologies being developed, as well as two extreme possible scenarios – optimistic and pessimistic. With the help of the spatial SAR model, a significant influence of the number of research organizations on the volume of advanced production technologies generated was confirmed, and in the second group of regions, the influence of the number of technicians who conduct research and development was confirmed. The novelty of the study is to take into account the spatial features of the localization of the advanced production technologies being developed, as well as the spatial effects resulting from the impact of the surrounding regions on the creation of new technologies. This approach makes it possible to significantly reduce errors in the formation of forecast scenarios in conditions of significant spatial heterogeneity of the initial data. Conclusions. To intensify the generation of new technologies in the regions of the second group, it is necessary to attract personnel with technical specialties. The dynamics of the technologies being developed in the first group of regions with a powerful research potential are also influenced by the number of research personnel and the amount of attracted financial resources for fundamental and applied research. To increase the activity of these regions in the development of advanced technologies, it is necessary to form and develop relationships with the surrounding regions.

Applicability of Artificial Intelligence in the Field of Clinical Lipidology: A Narrative Review.

Machine learning (ML), a subcategory of AI, enables computers to recognize patterns within extensive datasets. Furthermore, deep learning, a specialized form of ML, processes inputs through neural network architectures inspired by biological processes. The field of clinical lipidology has experienced significant growth over the past few years, and recently, it has begun to intersect with AI. Consequently, the purpose of this narrative review is to examine the applications of AI in clinical lipidology. This review evaluates various publications concerning the diagnosis of familial hypercholesterolemia, estimation of low-density lipoprotein cholesterol (LDL-C) levels, prediction of lipid goal attainment, challenges associated with statin use, and the influence of cardiometabolic and dietary factors on the discordance between apolipoprotein B and LDL-C. Given the concerns surrounding AI techniques, such as ethical dilemmas, opacity, limited reproducibility, and methodological constraints, it is prudent to establish a framework that enables the medical community to accurately interpret and utilize these emerging technological tools.

The structures have to be assessed for its failures caused by design and construction errors, material deterioration, adverse environment effect hence monitoring the structural health has shown to be a reliable method of assuring the structural integrity. The advanced development of sensor technology and sensing material are the most attractive parts of evaluating structural health. The change in stress, strain, crack formation, temperature variation is measured using fiber optic sensors, piezometers and other sensor types are often utilized in health monitoring systems. Sensors can degrade over time due to exposure to moisture, temperature fluctuations, wearing and tearing or physical impacts. Additionally, installing and maintaining sensors can be costly. These restrictions might be addressed by incorporating sensing technology, such as smart sensing concrete, into concrete structures. This paper explores the piezo resistive properties in concrete by introducing functional fillers like carbon fiber, carbon nano tubes, graphene materials to make electrically conductive concrete that are used to assess its own deformation. In Silico Models to Validate Novel Blood-Based Biomarkers.

Biological validation of preliminary findings is a key prerequisite in biomarker discovery. In recent years, the development of advanced large-scale sequencing technologies combined with high-throughput computational analysis methods led to the extraction of considerable amount of data from healthy and diseased tissues. Stored in large open-access repositories, these data can be accessed and interrogated by researchers aiming at understanding the biological rationale behind their results. These so called in silico analyses, in opposite to in vitro analyses, have gained increasing importance in recent years, becoming a major component of research projects and publications. However, making sense of the large amount of data available can be challenging and may lead to a misinterpretation of the data. To reduce the dimensionality of this data, recent years have seen the development of statistical m\ethods and advanced graph analytics which help researchers summarize the available data and draw appropriate conclusions. In this chapter we will describe three in silico methods to investigate the biological underpinnings of a panel of seven blood-based biomarkers of Alzheimer's disease.
