In this paper, the assessment of adolescents’ behaviors related to wisdom is studied. A 15 items rating scale was developed for this study, and complimented by the adolescents’ teachers. The items of the scale were obtained from the most popular psychological theories on wisdom (The Berlin Group, R. Sternberg, and M. Ardelt). A preliminary study was carried out using a sample of 164 Argentinean adolescents, obtaining good reliability and factorial validity of the scale. Also, some problems and limitations of the instrument are enumerated, and improvements of the scale for future studies and its applications are discussed.
